Our waitress Jessica was absolutely amazing. She was working multiple tables, but your cup never went empty, nor did you need to ask for anything. This is a diner, so the food is great. I got the 2 eggs breakfast with bacon, hash browns, and toast. My husband got the 10oz ribeye and eggs, That was the most tender and seasoned steak. It beats a lot of steak houses.

Bills has a very old school feel to it. Ive loved coming here for years, every time Im in temple. The people work hard but have fun and make you feel like a local even if its your first time. Was gonna get a cheesesteak but once she grabbed the cheesesteak and onion with her hands then wiped her forehead I was through. I didn t want to get sick so I left. The waitress seem like she was on something. She couldn t even finish a sentence. I m done eating out people only want the money and don t care about others.

They DO NOT respect the military or the vets. I politely asked if they could run food to me 200ft to the gate of VA. Waitress asked man in background he said Call uber eats . I don t want to pay $15 for $8 meal. I m a Veteran and injured. I offered to pay a tip to run it over while I waited in the direct sun and heat. NO RESPECT DO NOT SUPPORT THEM

Bills Grill 04-03-24 Me and a couple of my grandsons had lunch here today! It s a small place but has plenty of room. Has that café diner feeling. Everyone was friendly. Our waitress was very friendly and took care of us right away. I had The Chicken Fried Steak & 2 eggs with Hash Browns, and the best buttery Biscuits. My middle grandson had The Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich with Fries! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Really Good! My youngest Grandson had The 8 oz Bills Big Texas Burger w/Fries. Burger was flavorful and cooked just right. All was good and we enjoyed it. So many things to choose from. I want to try so many different things! We will be back.

Bill s is so delicious, affordable and cool that I almost didn t want to leave this review because it s Temple s best kept secret. I ve tried many local restaurants in town and Bill s food quality surpasses them in burger, fry and breakfast categories. This patty melt nearly brought me to tears. It s like a mother s grilled cheese meets dad s backyard burgers! (Note: I m not a fan of onions, those were not included here) The fries are hot and fresh, not over salted and the sweet tea actually tastes sweet! I d give them 10 stars if I could.

As a bonafide, blue-blooded, George W. Texan, I can swear by the stars that authentic American hospitality is summoned in no greater helpings than in Bills Grill. Why, when I saw ol Bill wranglin up that 10oz ribeye, I knew Id been blessed by proper southern divination for it came to pass that such a beast would settle sizzlin on my plate within the hour. And I tell ya, such a steak could make a fella take off his 12-gallon hat and ponder pensive like into the middle distance to preciate the feats of equanimity wrested from the brutal hand of our lowly origin. Just moved into the area and trying to find smaller dine in restaurants. I came across Bills Grill. Its an awesome little diner that has breakfast lunch and dinner. Food was surprisingly good! Our waitress, Michelle, was outstanding in her service, ensuring our diverse group, which included 5 adults, triplet 4-year-olds, and a one-year-old baby, was well taken care of. The chef, who tirelessly prepared our delicious meals, deserves a special mention. Every dish was cooked to perfection, reflecting her dedication and passion. One standout for us was their pancakes fluffy, golden, and simply amazing. I indulged in the 10-ounce ribeye steak, which was served with a crisp iceberg salad, a loaded baked potato, and buttered Texas toast a hearty meal that satiated my taste buds. The kids were thrilled with their breakfast meals, and both my wife and sister couldnt stop raving about their respective dishes. A pleasant surprise for my sister was the availability of Diet Dr. Pepper, which isn t a common find everywhere. Its these little touches that make a dining experience memorable. I was looking for a place to feed my family for relatively inexpensive, and wow, did this place deliver. Best dining experience I have had in a long time, a very welcoming crowd, people smiling, food was delicious, service was prompt and above and beyond and a great quantity of well made food for the price. Kid-friendliness: My kids deemed this the best restaurant ever. They made the pancakes Mikey Mouse and drew smiley faces with the melted butter. (They loved that part). I loved the part where we ordered 2 2x2x2 for my 3 kids to split and they split it for them.

I ll never forget this terrible experience! 12-11-2019 I have been coming to Bills Grill for many years. I have always enjoyed playing the arcades up there while my food was being prepared. I have never had any problems with the cooks or servers but today that changed. There where times where me and my friends would come in and we will notice the server being a little aggressive with us and giving us a dirty look like we where not supposed to be there. But the ladies never actually showed their true colors until today. I came in to Bills grill and I notice that the tables and floors were very dirty. There was food all on the floor. I finally sat a the round table by they arcade room. I politely asked the server could she please sweep underneath the table a little. She stared at me and gave me an angry look. As she was walking over to the kitchen to grab the broom, she started talking loud to the other ladies about me. She was pointed her finger in my direction and kind of yelling. As the server came to my table and started to sweep underneath, She said, What I dont understand is that their is nothing underneath the table. I dont know what his problem is. After she was done sweeping, I said to her, Maam, it wasnt that big of a deal. I did not mean to make yall upset. She started to kinda yell in my face and said, This is the cleanest table here. But one can see that there was food particles everywhere on the floor. So I told here that was ok, Ill just go somewhere else to eat. Then the server went to the other ladies and started to bad mouth me. And one of the Ladies said that I needed to move around. I got up and I approached the lady at the counter and I asked her polity could I have the managers number. She gave me that angry look and said, You need to move around! If you want to talk to the manager she will call but you need to move around! And I just said ok. As I walked out the door, the cook lady followed me out side and I believe she was writing down my license plate number. Also, I believe she was either talking to the manager on the phone or the police I wasnt sure. I sat in my car in shock and started to cry. I was thinking, did this really happen to me? After this situation, I will never go back to the restaurant. Like I said before, there were times where I felt racial profiled but today they showed their true colors. I was treated horribly and I felt like I was not wanted their.

The burger was more of a veggie burger with all the veggies on it . Heck the tomato slice was bigger than the burger. Not very clean. Heard a vet owned it thought I would give it a try.

Overall average at best. I got to hear about employee gossip where someone got fired. Sat in fairly uncomfortable booth seats, and ate okay food. I got SOS which turned out to just be biscuits and regular gravy (not sausage gravy) with sausages crumbled over the top. We also got the breakfast tacos which were ginormous and priced well. Food was fine, prices were fair, service was okay, probably wont be my first choice but if I was in the neighborhood and I was hungry I might stop here again.

I loved eating at Bills Grill. They have come a long way since a few years ago. Completely 180 degrees. They are more pheasant. Clean. And staff is friendly. Food is good Will start eating there again on a regular basis when I visit the VA at Temple which is across the street.

I don t know the waitress s name, but she was incredibly rude. We sat in the stalls right next to the bathroom door, and realized it wasn t the best place to sit, since every time someone opens the door you can smell the bathroom scent. As she was walking up to bring us our drink, I kindly asked if there was a way we could move tables, I guess she got upset and didn t respond, made this annoyed face, and took our drinks back to the bar where they just sat there for 10 minutes before bringing them to our new table. I didn t know it was a bother to ask to change tables. She made it a point to take her time before taking our order. I understand some days can be busy but that doesn t give anyone in the food service customer service business to have an attitude towards their customers especially with a simple seat change request. Will not be going to that place again, she lost out on a great tip because I am a very very generous tipper. But this is your tip, be kind.

Horrible customer service. Asked to switch tables and our waitress rolled her eyes. She was already carrying our drinks but instead of walking them to the table which was a couple of feet away she went back to the drink area and left them there. Then walked around talked to customers, laughed, refilled drinks and took orders. Thennnnn brought our drinks. We were ready to order but she left us lol. Had to ask for the check and didn t get to eat
