My go to for pho, and it s poured tableside in beautiful dishes + halal chicken and extremely flavorful broth. Beautiful ambiance worthy of a date night. Papaya salad is different but delicious. Skip the banh mi; dumplings are good though, and the you gotta love the complimentary sweet ending of crème brûlée spoons. Very kind servers who are always so wonderful to my toddler (+ they have booster seats). Nice lofi playlist too.

Yall. The service is over the top. We were celebrating my sons graduation. They brought him a yummy dessert- with a huge flair candle! On the house! The service was AMAZING! We were a family of 6- everyone loved their meal! This spot is SO CUTE! Its unexpected- as its in a strip mall.... But its beautiful! Definitely recommend!

Delicious and beautifully presented food. We had a large group (15+) and we all loved the restaurant. Some in our group had eaten here just a couple days before and were back already! A pretty space and the staff and service are really excellent. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is nicely decorated soft music servers are well trained but I feel like that is what you are paying for. The food on the other hand I feel is overpriced and is ok at best, definitely not authentic. All the proteins were marinated ok but overcooked and the rice and vermecilli was on the bland side. Go here for your instagram and tik tok videos and photos but not for the food.

Delicious food choices with the perfect hospitality. Mind-blowing ambience with soft music. We ordered artichokes and spring rolls with crab and mango inside, and duck curry with fried rice as main course. Creme brulee was our dessert which was so yummy Everything came up to $81, which seems a little expensive. The quality of food was perfect though. However, quantity needs to be reviewed.

My husband and I were looking for a curry dish similar to something we tried in California, and so enjoyed our dining experience here! We shared a pineapple salad-- so fresh and delicious! This is a very popular restaurant in Sugar Land, TX. We went out for dinner and chose to eat Vietnamese food. My cousins have eaten here before and liked the food a lot. We ordered one Banh Mi with brisket (we asked our waiter to have it cut into 3 so we could share. They were very obliging). For mains, 2 of us ordered the Rice Vermicelli with grilled pork and one ordered the V Lotus Vermicelli bowl (with grilled pork and shrimp). The bowl also contained a spring role. We enjoyed our meal a lot. The service was excellent too. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Just left this restaurant it was my first time I got the brisket pho and it was delicious. The restaurant inside is very cute and nicely decorated. The staff was very polite and my server was very nice and quick. When my food was brought out she poured my broth in which I thought was very nice and different I never experience that before and the dishes my food was served in was very pretty and clean . We popped in here for a lunch while we were in town visiting family. Everything we ordered was delicious. The server was very polite and attentive. We ordered the V Lotus Spring Rolls, Lemongrass Beef, and my wife got some kind of mango dish that she added shrimp to. It can be a little pricey, but the food is delicious. Everything tastes really fresh and was cooked perfectly. They even gave us a mini bite of creme brulee on a spoon at the end. Great place.

Starting with the Ambiance, such a vibe. Serene, and beautifully decorated. We came in close to closing but the service was still great. We did not feel rushed at all. The Menu is has a good variety of plates to choose from. We came in with Phó on our mind and I ended up having Curry Tofu. My boyfriend said the brisket was so delicious and tender. I did not plan on taking pictures so this one did no justice for my curry. But the sauce was so delicious! Towards the end our waiter brought out Cremè Brulee Spoons. The perfect amount for me. We will be coming back! Vegetarian options: I would ask if certain things are vegan friendly. I wanted to try the Bahn Mi - Lemongrass Tofu option but the mayo was not vegan.

Wow! We had our first dining experience tonight at VLotus and it was phenomenal. The attention to smallest detail sets it apart from other Vietnamese restaurants. The restaurant is so pretty. My partner has been wanting to bring me here because she knows I love beautiful experiences combined with food and this restaurant did NOT disappoint me. The ambiance was serene and delightful. The music choices was very subtle and enjoyable. Let s talk food, the spring rolls were honestly the best I ve tried EVER. why have i never heard of this place?! probably my new favorite vietnamese restaurant! the service is so great, i was seated so fast and they checked up on me every now and then. the layout is such a vibe, they have a second floor too! but more importantly: the food. i came here on a whim as a solo date to treat myself. i was a little hesitant to order their chicken curry cause it was $28 but i am SO glad i did. i am a picky eater but it was probably the best curry i ve had in such a long time. 100% worth the money cause i can feed myself at least 2 1/2 times with the left overs. my server, Alex, was so kind and packed my left overs for me! they also give a complimentary crème brûlée on a spoon! service: 10/10 atmosphere: 10/10 chicken curry: 100/10

The ambiance, the decor, the food all comes together at this special hidden gem restaurant. Our family dined in on a Sunday and the service was excellent. The chef really come up with something very special and unique in his cooking and seasoning. Everything is crafted very well. The curry and duck was excellent the other appetizers were great as well. We have been to alot of Vietnamese restaurant in Houston and this place I would grade it head to head with Le Colonial. V Lotus is more authentic Vietnamese hi-end restaurant like what you would find in Vietnam. We will return to try out other menus. The restaurant decor and service speaks for itself in terms of pricing so its all worth it. Went here for a group date with my friend with high hopes of authentic but reasonably priced food, the restaurant had glowing reviews about this hidden gem. And like a gem, this restaurant was extremely expensive for the size of the meal we received. But it was charming nonetheless! The meal initially started well, with a kind waiter greeting us at the door and warmly welcoming us into the restaurant. And initially, the meal was going well! For appetizers, I had the tofu ball and my friends had the shrimp spring roll. The tofu ball was a delight! Visually, I enjoyed the presentation of the dish and the inclusion of lettuce and other vegetables elevated the other flavors of soy and ginger in the dish. As for the shrimp roll, my friend who usually hates shrimp enjoyed the preparation of the shrimp in the dish. She explained that the shrimp tasted fresh and paired well with the peanut sauce. And then it all went downhill.... at least for me as a vegetarian. I had ordered the veggie pho which I found to be poorly flavored with the vegan broth tasting oddly similar to water and had to add several dabs of sriracha sauce. And as a tofu enthusiast, I found the tofu to be the only positive aspect of the dish but even the tofu was incredibly bland. BUT for the V Lotus vermicelli, my friends ordered turned out to be amazing. The lemon grass pork with the vegetables and noodles blew us away and was aesthetically presented! Not only did the flavors dance in our mouths, the texture blended together beautifully and created a more enjoyable experience. The dessert... OH MY GOD, the dessert. My group of friends ordered the Creme Brulee and the Mango Sticky Rice. It was incredible, I would honestly come back to this restaurant JUST for the Creme Brulee. I couldnt stop thinking about it. The Mango Sticky Rice was amazing as well! Surprisingly, while it wasnt mango season, the mangoes were incredibly ripe and tangy. The coconut milk brought the meal together. We love you, V-Lotus!

How have i missed this place for 5 years? It was my Bday dinner before a concert and was looking in the area for some place to eat. What a great choice. Very unassuming little spot in a strip center. Impeccable service, welcoming atmosphere and incredible food. We both ordered our go to Vietnamese dishes, Roasted pork vermicelli for me and chicken pho for my wife. Spring rolls for an appetizer and mango sticky rice for dessert. Thai tea to drink with jellied coconut man this was a great decision to try this place. Amazing food with superb service! For appetizers, we ordered the spring rolls - so so good! My daughter had the V lotus vermicelli bowl for her entree. She loved it! I had the banh mi with lemongrass beef. It is by far the best banh mi I ve had in a long long time. The baguette was just the way I like it - a crisp crust and soft on the inside. Wow! Ive been to pho spots all over Houston and V Lotus is amazing. The restaurant is so cool looking on the inside, they did a great job and the fish tank is actually clean! With non-miserable looking fish friends! The staff was awesome and didnt look like they hated working their I had the regular spring rolls which were fantastic and even had the fancy lettuce sticking out the end! The pho was also fantastic. Definitely on the lighter side with a lemongrass taste to it. Most have that cinnamon hint but I think that goes with the heavier broths. The noodles were good and plentiful, same with the meat! This is also the second restaurant that ive been too recently that gets that last hook in you with the cremé brüleé spoon! So good! If I had a restaurant, this is how Id do it. Good job V Lotus. I didn t really care for it. I was with a party of 10 mostly young people. I am not young people though I expect a little more. It appeared as though we were not getting the same service as the tables around us. One person in our group ordered a drink and only received it after asking for a fourth time, about 35 minutes later. My spouse waited patiently to get a second drink as no one was checking on us. If we are willing to give you $12 for a drink I would think it d be a good idea to ask if we d like another. One waiter came and refilled the water of half the group then disappeared. No other refills were offered. I m no expert on Vietnamese food. I ordered roasted duck vermicelli - didn t like it at all. I picked the duck out and eat the some of everything else. The duck tasted to me like fatty chicken flavored pork. That s the best way to describe it. Some of the pieces looked dried out. The skin was chewy. It was a little hit or miss with the opinions of the food. Some liked it, my spouse thought his was great. The person sitting across from me didn t think he d come back again. Our friend who asked 4 times about her drink and who is a Vietnamese food expert said it wasn t the best food and for the price someone should not be saying that. I not sure how many waiters where waiting on us it seemed they were taking turns waiting on the table of young folks paying automatic gratuity. There was one that was good when it was his turn. Friendly and accommodating. He is the one that eventually got our friend her drink and my husband s 2nd drink. But he didn t come back after that until the end of the meal and helped with the picture taking. My favorite thing was the pineapple tea I ordered. $5 but very good. My favorite part of this whole experience. We were there 3 hours with long stretches of no one checking on us. Far to long in my opinion. The chairs are hard and 3 hours was entirely too long. I think at least an hour could have been shaved off that time. Anyway, it was $90 for the 2 of us including the tip for 2 vermicelli bowls, 2 drinks, and 1 pineapple tea. This place is kind of far from where we live and we had to pass by dozens of Vietnamese places on the way there. I doubt that we will ever be back. It s just not worth the drive and price. Personally loved this spot - lovely high-end feel with comfortable booth seating and nice decor on the walls. The pho was the highlight, a little smaller than usual pho portions Im used to although still enough for one person. The broth was flavorful and rich. I got the lemongrass beef banh mi, which was tasty although I wish theyd added less mayo. Service was superb, everyone is so nice and attentive.

We happened to find this place by chance and I am so glad we did!!! The food.. and the service are 100! I have gone back twice within 2 weeks. I have tried the shrimp spring rolls the peanut sauce is so yummy, and the fried artichokes are SOOOOO good I could have had 10 of them to myself and the lemon grass shrimp and tofu so good and flavorful. Both times I have gone the customer service is top notch they are so nice and on top of the service. I cannot wait to go back!

Absolutely Amazing! Stopped by this restaurant on a whim and was pleasantly surprised the moment I entered. I was greeted at the door ny my waiter who delivered 5 star service my entire time dining. The ambiance is very nice and screams date night. The food was prepared well and tasted authenticly good. They offer a veggie broth for pho which is a nice option. The prices are far too high for the quality. Management skyrocketed the prices recently. While portions are reasonable, and quality is also reasonable, paying $35-40 for one entree pushes this into gourmet dining but lacking the quality. I would much rather this be a neighborhood place to go to with reasonable food rather than an extremely expensive price for reasonable (not exceptional) food.

I want to start by saying that I m not an expert on Vietnamese food but the food was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the shrimp phó and it was amazing, it was spicy and very tasty. I ordered the duck breast and it was also really good and perfectly cooked, the skin was very crispy and the sauce was delicious. Our lobster spring rolls that we had as an appetizer were fresh, fun and a great combination with the sauce that it s accompanied with. Their strawberry tea also was a nice little surprise, it was sweet and light and will definitely order again. Service was excellent although a little awkward but as an awkward person myself, I enjoyed it. The server even served us a complementary dessert, which was a delicious crème brûlée served on a spoon, which was different and therefore exactly what I look for. The place itself is really pretty and lively, the green decor combined with the Asian background really gave it a nice fun feeling. Will definitely come back.

The spring roll and egg rolls are okay. Those came out in decent time. Our meal took FOREVER to arrive. Once it finally arrived, if you order pho the server wheels it out and brings out a thermos with the broth and unevenly distributes it. The broth was COLD.. I m not sure how long it sat in the thermos but it was sad. The broth was salty, cold and tasted chicken based instead of beef. The brisket is cut really thick, we believed it probably was chuck roast cause it was like pot roast meat, I took it all out. No thank you. The lobster curry, was just rich, bland, and the lobster was way over cooked.. The interior was like an Italy vineyard home with Vietnamese decorations. The prices are insane, but it s catered to the neighborhood and well the owner has to pay their ridiculous rent so expect that. If you re looking for traditional, hot and delicious pho, it s not here. If you want to try it and want to waste the money, make sure you go after you ve eaten something and not hungry to be less disappointed. Not even one star worthy.

I read reviews about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. We ordered 2 entrées 1 appetizer, 2 glasses of wine and the food was average at Best for the outrageous pricing. As long as the food is good the price does not matter which in this case the two did not coincide.The pricing for the pho and spring rolls was unbelievably high. Lastly when the bill is $75 and we give $100 our change should be dropped off instead she came back with nothing and asked if we wanted our change. We blessed her anyway but the way she went about the tip when we said no was very assumptive, not professional and lacked etiquette. Too many eating options to come back.

My husband took me to this place for the first time because he saw it had good reviews. I was hoping for a good Pho on a rainy night. I ordered the Lotus Pho that has few meats which includes thin sliced raw beef. It should have been served with boiling hot broth to cook the meat in the bowl however, soup was luke warm and did not cook the meat. I wanted to send it back but my husband said hell eat the raw meat because he didnt want me to call the server because they were very busy so I did eat some of the noodle and the other two cooked meats but was not very happy about it.

The food was delicious, the serving size was plentiful and the vibe was so romantic and relaxing. We had the papaya salad which was fresh and not too peanut-y. The vegetarian egg rolls (not pictured) had these wood ear mushrooms that added an umami flavour which balanced the rest of the ingredients of the egg rolls. Ah, that curry shrimp was warming, creamy but not heavy. Probably the best dish we ordered! Make this your fall/ winter staple order. The chicken pho was flavoured well and we didn t need to add anything else to it. And the staff were so lovely!! We can t wait to come back again!

Dont go here for Vietnamese Bánh mì sandwhich. Their Vietnamese sandwich was absolutely the worst I have ever had anywhere. It came with pile of frozen french fries. And their fish sauce nugnc nam was not up to standard as you get in other places. They give the Banh mi a bad name if you never tried it in other places. And their egg roles are not that good either. I lived near by, so i checked out this restaurant by ordered a bowl of Pho, and a Vietnamese sandwich ( banh mi ) they charged $16 for a bowl of Pho where most of Vietnamese restaurants price @ $10-$11 . that Sandwich everywhere priced is @ $5-$6 THE MOST, they charged $16. Way over price. They must think Sugar Land is in the middle of the nowhere or something or most of white people have no clue about price. bad business. never go back. btw, its not about the money that im writing, its about how they are ripping off.
