Make sure your order is correct before leaving. If not, and you dont go right back, 2 days later tough luck. No regard for customer. 7/3/2024 - twice in the last 2 weeks Ive gotten chewy breasts. This place used to have the best fried chicken with friendly service. Service has picked back up at the sacrifice of quality.

This is not a cook to order restaurant. With the exception of chicken everything on the menu is cooked and waiting for you to order it. That could be the next day or week and they will throw nothing away.

About as good as it gets for fast food fried chicken. However the service is always something. The most recent time we felt rushed. ANYTHING ELSE? as soon as something was said, followed by nothing but the quote of the total and hand out for payment when near the window. Prior to this visit, the drive thru didnt know the menu and had to be hand held to get through the order. Followed up with no napkins or tableware with the order and ignoring the request for low or no ice in the drink orders. I dont know if its this new generation of worker, or the overturn is affecting the overall morale. It is starting to get noticeable. Other than that, its Tip-Top.

We ve eaten at Rowlett Chicken Express for years . Picked up our food tonight and there was a black hair similar to a pubic hair on the gravy and our family size pickles barely covered the bottom of the box. HUGE rip off !! Called Eric the manager and was told to bring the gravy and pickles back and Eric would replace them. So I m suppose to drive all the way back up there to exchange pickles and gravy ? How about a refund Eric ???

I believe when you have exceptional employees you need to hear about them. Lisa @Rowlett Texas location is fantastic! Lisa is Efficient, Professional, Polite and Friendly! THIS IS THE WORST CHICKEN EXPRESS EVER DO NOT COME HERE. EVEN THE GM IS NO GOOD. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called yesterday to complain about my order being wrong and the male manager who works evening shift was so nice and apologetic and told Me he took my name down and number to get my replacement food. I go back to this store LITTERALLY the next day and everyone is acting as if I made it up. I even offered to show them the call log showing I was on the phone yesterday and they didn t care to see it. I drove all the way back to Rowlett for no reason! I do not even live in that area I bought food at the rowlett location because I was simply passing by. If I was over this store I would be so embarrassed By my staff.

I wish I can give a zero but Im writing this review because this has happened way to often. I was in line in git my food at 10:50, they open at 10:30 so why was my 3 PC of chicken dried up in old. Smh I would love to get my freaking money back but had to be at work so I cant go back. Beware!!! They serve refrigerated refried spicy chicken strips that are literally sooo hard that he have the consistency of a piece of jerky. Went twice due to my rolls being tough and dry then I found a pinky finger sized chicken strip that was torn off of one of the other strips and when I went to eat with my family the strips were tough, not crispy and dried out on the inside. Highly disappointed, that was my one out to eat meal of the week and it was a let down. The manager was nice although from what my siblings said and he tried to make it right. The Spirit of Waxahachie Colorguard recently competed in the Rowlett High School Colorguard competition on 1/28/2023. I am the director of fundraising as well as in charge of ordering the meals for our team on competition days. Since my very first call (one of many) to coordinate the purchase information for 45 people, the staff at this Chicken Express location have been 5 STAR!!! Sage, answered all of my questions patiently (and VERY cheerfully and professionally!!) every time I called with questions. The day of pick up, Sage was not on duty, but the two gentlemen in charge that day were PHENOMENAL!!! They were ON TIME, kind, friendly, and helped load the entire meal for 45 people onto my truck! Our kiddos, volunteers, and directors were happy and fed and we came home with first and second place in our divisions!! When we return next year, we will be doing business with you again!! We went through the drive through and the young girl that took my order seemed to be bothered that I was there. That started the issue. We pull up to the window and she doesn t say anything, just takes the credit card and closes the window. Opens it and hands my card and the receipt to me then just closes the window again. We wait in the car while I watch her bite and chew her fingernails as she turns her head away and ignores us as we wait over 8 minutes just to have her open the window and swing the bag to me. I take the bag and she just closes the window and turns away. I see another young girl looking and I mouth to her that the other girl is rude. She opens the window and asks what I said. I told her the other girl was rude and should have said thank you or something. She said ok, closed the window and smiled to the other girl when she asked what I said. Obviously she didn t care any more than the other one. Such a shame. I m glad Canes is just down the street so I will never be back and hopefully anyone I know won t either.

Prices have jumped almost 50% but the quality of food has gone down. Gotten small hard dense rolls and tiny pieces of chicken recently. $40 for half pieces of tenders and small underdone rolls is not worth it anymore. The drive they cashier was very rude , he gave me a total I gave him that dollar amount then he told me that my total was different I gave him more money then he gave me the receipt and the receipt had the first dollar amount on it I told him he overcharged me he said no the receipt just didn t change but the receipt was with the correct items that I purchased. Then he turned around and got a manager and gave me back the proper change and threw it in my hand as if I wrong to him when he s cheating the customers. Someone needs to teach them to respect the customers and give them the correct dollar amount. And apologize when you ve made an error. I will not return to this location.

Went through the drive through lastnight 01/23/21 and tried to order tenders the girl took my order then when I added more tenders to my order they tried to say they didn t have anymore which was a lie. I ordered my 2 sides for the additional meals and never got either of the 2 sides for them by the time I drove home I wasn t going to turn around and drive back.
