We went into the restaurant to eat because the sushi restaurant next door was closed that day. The place smelled of old fish and was filthy. Roaches crawling by the garbage can, disgusting bathroom, food and dirt on the floor. Never eat there!

This is my go-to poke place! The food is delicious and the portions are reasonably priced. The owner is also super sweet and sociable. So disappointing. Got a poke bowl off the menu, just bad, and a milk tea, underwhelming. The rice in the poke bowl was hot and stuck together in a bowl shaped brick. It made the raw ingredients in the bowl warm as well. Warm cucumber and salmon, gross. Avocado was rock hard and in large chunks. It generally lacked flavor with no sauce or spice. The boba in the milk tea was so chewy. Flavor was fine. The inside feels unclean and unkempt. Confused how others are raving about this place. Considering the price is competitive for the area and there are so so many better options nearby, I will not be returning to this spot.

If you are looking for a fresh, delicious affordable poke bowl this spot is perfect! It s a local small business so of course it s way better than any other chain poke I have been to. The service is excellent, they are always so kind and go above and beyond. The staff member who took my order brought my meal to the patio table they have outside because I had mentioned the weather was beautiful today. The bowls are always super tasty and they don t skimp out on the portions! I am always beyond satisfied when buying food here :)

First time trying this place. It was amazing. The man who was making the food and running cash register was very polite and welcoming. The atmosphere is lowkey, peaceful, and has cute decorations. I tried the Ohana large sized poke bowl and Detox juice. THEY ARE DELICIOUS. Im actually so pleasantly surprised at the freshness and taste of both the poke and juice. Made me feel healthier after one bite haha. I highly recommend this place.

Went for the first time tonight and ordered the tuna for my poke bowl. Tuna was bad and tasted VERY fishy and not like good tuna should taste. Also, the whole bowl was room temperature: the rice wasnt hot and the fish was room temp, not nice and cold like it should be. Only star is because the juice was good.

I ve been to this place 2 days and in a row. I made my own bowl, had spicy chicken dumplings, and got boba! It was delicious! I however was not a fan of how mushy the brown rice was. Overall, I will go back and try the sushi rice instead.

Bowls were fresh and delicious, I had the Obana bowl with spicy tuna , salmon , crab meat with the included veggies. My daughter had a custom bowl with eel, salmon and avocado. Both were very tasty. The Sakura drink was a nice mellow and sweet flavor, like a rose milk tea. I had a signature dish, Large, it was very filling. i gave it 4 stars only cause i did not know there was anything spicy/hot, it wasnt listed. So it made it difficult to eat. but i have sensitive palette, most probably cant feel it.

The ratio between the meat & mix-in s and the rice are not like other poke establishments. You get more of the base item than your meat and add-in s. I basically paid for an order of white rice and a side of salmon, cucumber and tomatoes. For the cost of the bowl, I would recommend going elsewhere.

My office is nearby and was contemplating whether to drive all the way to Seiwa Market on Dairy Ashford for my poke bowl fix, but decided to give this place a try. I was first greeted by some sort of a strong cleaning agent/chemical smell when I walked in and almost walked back out. Since I was ordering to go, I went for an Ohana bowl (Super) since it seems like something popular and difficult to screw up spicy tuna and salmon (I make my own poke bowls too). Brought it back to the office and everything looked kosher from the top, but as soon as I mixed it up and took a bite, it had chunks of scorched rice as if the rice had been sitting in the rice cooker for too long. I would say that half of the bowl had scorched chunks of rice. I am sure if you prepare enough pokes you can tell when scooping the rice that you have scorched chunks and should not use it. Scorched rice from the bottom of pots are good with some dishes but not in a poke bowl. Do yourself a favor, if a customer is paying a premium price for a poke bowl, at least make sure the rice is good. This should be an easy fix. BTW, the strong cleaning agent/chemical smell is so strong that it seeped into the paper napkin that was included in my order. You may want to fix that as well. For now, I guess I would keep making the long drive to Seiwa until I see progress here by other customers.

Do NOT order delivery / DoorDash from this place. I ordered doordash and I have basically no poke in my bowl it was 99% vegetables .5% rice and .5% poke. They obviously take advantage of the fact that you re not there to see the serving portions so skimp on ingredients. I just received a vegetable bowl with a sprinkle of rice and no poke. I ve order delivery and takeout from this place before and it was good but this has left me very disappointed. Also no customer service when you walk in very awkward

Today was my first time here and was sadly disappointed. The amount of food you get in the large, almost felt like a small. Barely any rice, not filled up and overall disappointing. I tried a watermelon milk tea which was good but I wouldn t go back just for that. Total spent with tip was around $25 and not worth it in my opinion :(

I went to POKE & JUICE for the first time today to try a bowl. The food is good however I m very unpleased with the customer service. It felt as if me and my mom were rushed and inconveniencing the who I to believe is the store owner. She seemed very impatient even though we were the only customers apparent during the service. It just made the whole experience as a first time customer unpleasant. Ultimately the bowl was good.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was fresh, lovingly prepared and very tasty. We got the make your own poke bowl which allowed of many combinations and a good helping of what was some of Sugarland s freshest fish. The juice was also excellent and refreshing. We had the watermelon, ginger and lemon combination - perfect after a long day! We will definitely visit again! Update: the owner responded to my message about letting them know. I have done that each time. They are aware. I was surprised by the response. I definitely miss the old owners (I wish I knew Id they opened another place). I understand costs are higher but I would rather pay more for a quality product. First time here and I was a little hesitant with the reviews, but needed my poke fix. So glad we did! They have different types of poke bowls and fresh juices and teas. I opted for the Texas bowl which was spicy and delicious and my husband got the ohana which was more of your traditional poke. Both were great! We got the spicy chicken dumplings which had a surprising Sichuan flavor to it which I loved! Family owned business that moved here last June. I ordered the powl bowl for delivery today and it gave me a stomachache; possible food poisoning. The sushi rice was stale and hard. The sushi is probably not fresh and the eel was cold but the spicy level was good hence why I even gave it a star. Definitely not worth eating for food poisoning.
