I wish I never went to this restaurant! It is probably the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. I went there because I saw the 4.6 rating that was deceptive its not true! Then I investigated the ratings. Its obvious the average has been changed by all the five stars. To begin--- Good basket of chips to start. The second tasted stale, burnt, like rewarmed chips. The salad was not good. Just chucks of meat dropped on iceberg lettuce. Dressing and nothing else. The meat on my plate tasted weird. A weird oily taste. Poor service. Such a disappointment. Please train your cook. Beware, a 4.6 rating is not truthful or accurate.

What a useless restaurant to dine at, you saw me bleeding and I want to use your restroom and you refused to let me use it, I can t even tell my enemies to eat at this restaurant, if there is a zero star I will give them. It was really terrible and you saw the blood on the floor, am pretty sure if is the person from is nationality she will not do that

Really good molcajete mix of shrimp, fajitas, and chicken. Only one size of molcajete mix enough for two people - rice and beans are extra charge. Nice atmosphere.

Awesome experience! Great food, friendly workers (maybe owners) Reasonable price, highly recommend. Cant wait to go back Update - Ive been back twice. Small hole in the wall restaurant. The food is so very good! Have you ever been to Lopez? Elbitas is so much better!! A Must go to.

Elbitas is one of those places that youre tempted to hide from others for fear that if the world finds out how good Oscars carnitas and green enchiladas are itll change. But Elbita and Oscar are just too awesome to hide! Seriously I know of no place with better - crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside - carnitas. The green enchiladas with pork are just as amazing too. Even the aguas frescas are noticably fresher than most. I usually like to go to this place to grab a burrito after getting off of a night shift and never have an issue. Today I ordered a breakfast burrito with chorizo, egg and cheese add potato at 10 am right when then opened, so not busy. I arrive about ten minutes later and the owner had my burrito on the counter. He tells me that he is running out of chorizo, and just added extra potatoes. I asked him did he have any other protein and he told me that he already made the burrito. Well then I guess I dont have the options? He then told me it would still be the same price even without the chorizo because of the potatoes. That really didn t seem fair. So I paid and left but honestly didn t seem right, so I called back and said I m not happy with the burrito because on top of it not being what I ordered, it was burnt. The owner then said, ohh I didn t know you were like that . I said if you went to a restaurant and ordered one thing and then gave you another and just told you to take it. You wouldn t be happy. He then offered to make it how I wanted with another substitute but at that point, I didn t even want him to keep my money. I returned back to get a refund and return the burrito. NO APOLOGIES from the owner. I would ve truly appreciated even if he waited to make it until I got there so I could then choose something I wanted, or called me back even. I m pretty sure I was the first order of the day, so the fact that he didn t immediately offer to fix it or make another one was crazy seeing to the fact that no one else was there and he had the time. Really unfortunate because I did enjoy this place, but they definitely lost a customer.

The food is great but the customer service is horrible. You don t have to speak the same language to be nice to someone. The lady rung me up for 3 times my order then when I asked for some extra limes so got an attitude and used THE SAME HANDS she hanged me the pen with, handled the receipt with and picked up a lime and put it straight on my food . Just rude and nasty and I drove 25 mins because it used to be my favorite taco place before I moved farther away but to drove an hour there and back and spend almost $30 on a taco plate and a kids meal. I will NEVER waste my time again. Time to find a new Quesabirria place.

I would first like to say that this a is a Ma and PA restaurant, but they are not as old as culture tends to be or say. I have lived here at Village of Oak Lake for 21 years and to have a restaurant close to home is great! They are a family that has passed covid19 and are still here trying to be please us. Ordered chicken fajitas and birria tacos. Birria tacos and the chips and salsa that came with it were good. They use no seasoning for the chicken fajitas and rice , which came out bland. Refried beans were not that good. Place is kind of cheap so you get what you pay for.

Elbitas is an awesome Mexican restaurant. The owners are super friendly and make a point to know their regulars by name. All their dishes are delicious, but the pork enchiladas verdes are my favorite. The meat is delicious and the green sauce brings just the right amount of heat. I strongly recommend stopping by if youre in the area and if you live around here, get to know the owners, theyre awesome!

I came across this restaurant through a food delivery service and I am so glad that I did! Their quesabirria is outstanding along with their carne guisada. Anything that my family has tried from this establishment has been delicious and we have ordered from there several times now. I look forward to eventually going there in-person. The only thing I wish they would do is offer their tacos and quesabirria for dinner as well because they are only currently available during lunch.
