Had a great Lunch with my son, Cool inside decor, and Awesome Service from Ian the waiter, The manager Frank came by our table and we were made to feel very welcome, like old friends, it is a great respite on a hot day great A.C. The Shepherds Pie and the Fish and Chips are out of this world!! The food is amazing and reasonably priced. The beer and liquor are always cold. Every time I visit, the staff is friendly and seems genuinely happy to work there. They have outside sitting for people who want to smoke, and they have 2 pool tables as well as 3 dart boards. They usually have live music or karaoke nights. The themes always change from country, rock, and emo punk. So the crowd rotates some, but always a good time with great people to meet.

We had one bartender that was serving the entire bar. The remaining 3 bartenders were serving only the customers they wanted to serve. This was probably the worst service I have ever received except for the one bartender. I felt so bad for her, because she was having to pick up the other bartenders slack. Then, apparently Im the bad person because I ask for a drink from one of the other ones after 10 minutes of waiting when the one that would serve us went on a break.

We didnt try the food as we just left dinner but boy did we try the drinks! They were lovely as was the bar staff and there was live music. The band was lively and after they completed their set the bar music was a fun vibe. Great for a birthday or just a local pub since overall it was pretty casual dress. Would visit again!

Went here for a burger date night. The burgers were surprisingly good and the onions rings were outstanding. Only issue was very small amount of o-rings and fries. The air was out unfortunately. Wed try once more for hopefully a better comfort level.

Went there on a Sunday. Small crowd but got busier as the Astros started playing and loved that they had it on mostly all tvs with sound. My bartender was Payton and she was very attentive and took our order as soon as we sat down. Even suggested to us different things we might like to drink. (Food was kind of bland and heard a couple of complaints from other customers about their food but Payton handled it very well.) Payton is honestly very great and only want to come back when shes there!

I absolutely loveeee coming here! The vibes and atmosphere is so awesome. Karaoke and live music night are always such a good night. The bands that come play here are so good and talented, I hope they never get rid of live music night. Payton is definitely my favorite bartender! She s so funny and makes really good drinks CONSISTENTLY. You can tell she really loves her job and knows how to relate to the crowd. Food is also pretty dope. Potato skins are my favorite.

Met up for a mixer with some colleagues. We had a great time. I ordered the fish and chips and a long island tea. The LIT was tasty. The fish and chips was good, but not sure Id agree about it being award winning as per the menu. Service was good. Our waiter took great care of us. Our group also shared the shrimp and mixed platter appetizers. They were good. The mixed platter is a great way to sample alot of the different appetizers.

It was pretty much empty at that time. 12:30ish. We ordered at 12:41 and received food after 1:05. We ordered the shrimp tacos and patty melt and 2 waters. When we ordered the tacos he kept saying you get one side with that. I saw on the menu it was suppose to come with the tortilla chips and salsa. But he asked me to order a side. So I ordered the sweet potato fries. Not saying it was an extra charge of $1.50. I wanted just what came with it. There was no chips and salsa with the tacos as pictured. The patty melt was not on toasted bread but on a bun. We didn t say anything cuz we were in a hurry. We then received the check for over $50 dollars. We bought it to his attention 1st he said he merged 2 tables bills by mistake and the manager would have to fix it. The manager never came out to say sorry. Then the waiter was blaming the ordering billing system was changed a couple weeks ago and had to be reset all the time cuz of mistakes. Which I don t think was the case it was his mistake. We then had to wait for ticket to be fixed and pay. The whole experience was terrible and then we were late to the event at 2 pm. There was only 4-5 tables being served so not busy. make sure they serve what is ordered and not charged more than they order. I have photos attached what the patty melt photo looks like we received and what is on your menu. Our bill was $30 including the fries never told it was an extra charge. The staff should know what is on the menu and what is supposed to be to look like and trained better. I dont feel it was a great experience with us wanting to come back.

The place has several discriminatory and abuse cases. DO NOT COME HERE. Discriminatory place with no sense of professionalism filled with old men looking for young girls. Security gorilas will make any excuse to not provide service after asking nicely to serve properly. Absolutely amazing place to hang out or even for date night. My fiancé and I come here every week for date night and we are never disappointed. Our waitress Chloe always takes really good care of us. She s very attentive, makes sure our drinks are always filled and knows how to make us feel special by making our experience so personal. This place would have gotten all the stars but one bartender ruined that experience for me. I m going to state the positives first. The music was great! It was clean inside and the bathrooms were really clean as well. It wasn t too packed and it was a Saturday night. I encountered two bartenders that night on 12/16/23. One of them, according to my receipt her name is Alexa A. She was wonderful! It was my first time there and I m a wine drinker and she recommended a really good wine and every time I came to the bar she attended me in a timely manner. Towards the end of the night I encountered another bartender who was an Asian woman. She was kind of tall. She was literally right in front of me completing another order and I waited and then she looked at me when she was done I asked if I could get a refill of the wine I was drinking. She rolled her eyes at me and then went to the other side of the bar and never came back over to me. Alexa A was busy but when she saw me waiting she came over and asked if I was ok. I asked her for a refill and she pulled the wine from under the counter that was RIGHT in front of me and poured me a glass. What s up with your other bartender ?? That was so rude! I mean does she not like black people or something? I just don t get why she was so rude to me like that and then to see the bottle was right in front of her. I had guests with me that saw the entire thing. Other than that incident I had a great time. Alexa A, you were a great bartender last night and because of you I will return!

Smoking area less than 4 feet away from the restaurant. People were smoking nearby, and that ruined our dinner. The new server was very attentive but very below average service level. We had a large group staying at the Marriott next door and decided to do a buyout with Baker st pub for 100 people. Everything went flawlessly and our group was over the top happy. The food, atmosphere, DJ, Service was all on point. Frank the GM was my main contact and did a fabulous job helping us execute our event. We couldnt be more grateful! I had lunch on a Sunday morning. Ive had terrible service in the past but this young man, ranks up with some of the worse. My tea was filled with ice and when I asked for a fill up with no ice, I got a whole glass of tea, no ice. He gave me sweet tea the second time when I had unsweet tea the first. He was there to bring food to another table and that was the only way I even got that, he was across the restaurant with his head on his arm on a table. I realize its hard to get good help, but this was terrible scraping the bottom of the barrel. Ill look for another place to go after twice now since I had him before on a Sunday morning. The sad part is, the food is consistently good. If only the wait staff were better Id recommend the place.

I was a bar Louie guy until I came to Bakers one night and got served by a Bartender named Lexi. I have a friend who bartends there now as well but Lexi was the reason I came back. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable, and her service didn t even require words on my part. She s one of a kind. And between her and my friend it s the only bar I ll go to anymore.

Been coming here for awhile to watch the live band and have a few drinks on Fridays and Saturday each visit has been a blast. Friendly atmosphere the crew that works there definitely deserves all the praise they always take care of with the best service especially Lexi she looks out for you and sympathize with you and always comes up with the best solutions when a problem occurs! Such an awesome person with a welcoming and friendly personality always delivers the best service!

Went at 1150 not knowing there kitchen closes hours before the place closes. Not only does it close early but they close it even earlier than they are supposed to. Kitchen is supposed to close at midnight tonight Im writing this at 1150 and they told me 5 minutes ago its already closed. Another case of employees not caring about the business or what they are supposed to do.

Love coming here! The bartenders are fast and attentive. Mary is one of my favorites. Always happy whenever she serves me. I would give this place 5 stars if it didn t feel so hot in there. Definitely need to check their AC. Other than that I have no complaints and will be coming back.

Went there on a Friday nights to meet up with some friends.. the place was full but service was great ..we wind up listening to a great band called ..rapture ..they kept the crowd going all night long . Everyone had a great time ..I recommend this place if you want to hang out with your friends

Monday night was calm and peaceful for a bar! Our server, John, was fabulous and attentive. The food he recommended was very good. Wednesday was trivia night and was packed and was totally different story! They didnt have enough servers and the food was just mediocre. Would definitely go back though because of their choices of food. And trivia was a blast even though we were playing with a very skilled regulars! However some people are group were not impressed. They just dont know how to have fun I guess!

Chill dive with live music at times... the bartenders are prompt with service and enjoy interacting with the customers, making them feel at home. Go there, sit at the bar, have a drink, talk to whoever sits by you, ask get to know the staff. Theyre on point!

Disappointed last time here, thought we would give it try again. We had the fish and chips and chicken Fried Steak, everything was extremely bland, fries were tasteless and soggy. No amount of salt and pepper we added could boost flavor. Service was ok.
