Very cool spot to hang out and have some drinks. Lots of games including pool, ping pong, Jenga, foosball and probably others. Theres a bar but also tables to kinda hang out in, and a juke box that you can choose all kinds of music from. I was really happy with the tunes they picked out - an eclectic mix that was nice for all people in our party (all ages). They also had a nice selection of taps of beer and normal well drinks from the bar. I was from out of town and just looking for a cool place to hang and have a few drinks. This place executed that perfectly. Would definitely recommend. :)

Your basic neighborhood bar. I havent had the food but the drinks are cheap and the staff is friendly. Our bartender was Olivia and she was very sweet. They have pool tables, karaoke, draft beer..

This is my new favorite dive bar! A huge selection of drinks and games to play, great mixture of patrons, and the staff is incredible! I ve always enjoyed coming here but they have REALLY come a long way in the past couple of months! 10/10

This is a neighborhood bar. I even hear non regulars calling it that. Karaoke on Thursday is the best night of the week. Especially since the amazing Alyssa and Delaney work. They do to war with how busy it is and everyone ends up happy.

We popped into this place randomly on a Thursday. The staff and regulars were all so welcoming and fun, and it just happened to be karaoke night! I normally hate karaoke but at this place it was actually fun. Olivia the manager was very accommodating. Highly recommend! If I could give 10 stars I would

This was the nest place, now they have a bartender that hates Latin or Spanic people They ask for texas ID Everywhere else we go we show the permit the US give us with texas address and all and she wont take it as valid Id This is becoming a immigration check point now

Plenty of pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, and ping pong! Definitely plenty to do there and they have a great jukebox. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. My group and I will definitely be returning. I think we found our new spot.

Do NOT order the food here. The tall white man bartender screamed in my face when I asked nicely for a bag for my to-go food that took 45 mins over the time they quoted me to come out. The food was disgusting/soggy/undercooked and my order was wrong. The African American woman bartender is an Angel though. Very sweet and stylish!

Someone I know was travelling and we went to Boomerz because we needed a dive bar might. It was exactly that, with karaoke, cheap drinks, lots of pool tables, and the patrons to fit the vibe - all of which I love. I was with an older person travelling through Austin, and they left their small bag containing probably $2k-3k worth of their jewelry, without realizing it. Turns out, when we called them up the next day, someone at Boomerz had found it and turned it in with nothing missing. I know some of that may be luck as to who found it, but it was family, sentimental jewelry, and it could have easily gotten lost. Boomerz is awesome. Thank you to everyone there for being awesome.

My husband and I have been patrons of Boomers for 15 years. Used to be a nice bar where everyone just wanted to enjoy a beer and converse with the other folks. Over the last couple of months the bar has become more of a roadhouse, with violent, belligerent and very drunk customers. Bartenders don t seem to know how to handle these situations. So scary this afternoon, we left without finishing our drinks.

Last night we visited Boomerz for a friends Birthday. First time going so I didn t know what to expect. Really cool place to shoot pool, darts and have drinks with friends. Really cool vibe to the place with a good mix of age groups. Handicap accessible with plenty of room to move around and see all sides of the club. Great audio system, very pleasant that seemed to enjoy their jobs! Will definitely be going back next time we have a gathering of friends.

My favorite spot to wait for traffic to die down. Price are cheap and bartenders are friendly. Been coming for about 2 years. There are plenty of games to play like pool, connect 4, ping pong, darts, and some arcade games. The bar also hosts events like Texas Hold em. Love this place.

Kind of a dive bar with classic bar fare, but they have a friendly atmosphere and welcome all kinds. Thursday night is Karaoke, and their song list is ridiculously long and always expanding both with and without request. If you go AND dont have to drive, ask for Wess tea.

If you like to dance in the dark filled with flashy strobe lights, this is for you. This has been the only dance club i can be myself and express my style and no one will have a problem. JUST DANCE! I am a karaoke junkie...I have called Boomerz on 3 occasions asking what was going on that night and NO ONE has ever been able to answer me...Poor leadership. Website says Thurs, posts say Sat, and calls say uhhhh? I was a bartender for 15 years and would have gotten my ass kicked if I didnt know who, what band, or what style was there that night...it hurts Biz and continuity. Its an easy step up and will yield you more consistent returns. Im dropping my mic...boom.

Decent place to play a game of pool or table tennis. They also have giant jengas and the drinks are not too pricey. Do go with a group of friends, since here you wont find the atmosphere to be too fun if you are alone or not with a fun bunch of people.
