We booked Lasbela for a private event and it was a great experience. The service was attentive, and the staff made sure all our guests were comfortable. Their hospitality was much appreciated. The decor was tasteful and created a nice atmosphere for our celebration. It was just what we needed to make the event feel special. The food was delicious, with a good variety of dishes that everyone enjoyed. Our guests had many positive things to say about the food. We came here as a part of Houston Restaurant Week to try a new cuisine and support the Houston Food Bank. We didn t really know what to expect and were not familiar with the dishes but the staff was very helpful in explaining what everything was. Since there were 3 of us in our group, we pretty much ordered everything on the Houston Restaurant Week menu and everything was delicious! It even included a drink so that was fun to try as well. Service was very friendly and top notch. Overall it was a great experience!

Good food Palank ghost seemed bit unseasoned Good service however felt bit awkward as it was late afternoon ~during slow hours because all the waiter/waitress kinda trying too hard to serve you while forgetting not to interrupt guest s privacy so often . The best experience my family and I had! First with reservations: we were running late and I believe the restraint owner answered and assured me that are table is saved and not to rush. I never had anyone tell me this so I was very impressed. Second the staff and our waiter Ali who took care of us just as we were in his own home. It was our first time so he gave great suggestions! Third the food was delicious but beware for the spicy items in the Appetizer section. If it says it s spicy it s spicy but their Raita brings it to another level. The desserts were also Delicious it was like my mom s recipe down to earth wholesome dishes and desserts. I ve added pictures so take a look at what we ordered. Sorry for this long post but it s well deserved 5/5 we will be coming back again in the near future!

We went here for Houston Restaurant Weeks. We ordered everything on their menu and they were all delicious. My favorite is the gobi (cauliflower) and dhunwadar (had a smoky taste and spicy). We get to choose between rice and naan (plain, butter, or garlic). They surprised us with a drink that tasted like a mojito mocktail. We ordered the lychee and mango flavors. They also surprised us with dessert: mango ice cream and gulab jamon (they looked like grapes) with a cute umbrella. The restaurant is very fancy and dark. The staff was very attentive and asked us what we thought of their food and drink and explained what they re made of. They even have a light to aid us when we were taking pictures of their food. We will definitely go back.

Food(even the yogurt tasted good!!), service (spot on!) and the bathrooms (which were not only clean but smelt great!). I went to Aga s restaurant during my last visit to Houston, I loved everything about it except that they didn t have any non spicy option and unfortunately I can t handle spices, so I got into trouble doing endoscopy since then around two years ago! But never forgot how Pakistani food was delicious! So here I am back to Houston after two years for another concert, and was passionate enough to give the Pakistani food another try and chance! I found Lasbela on Google Map which was 3 min away from my hotel. The very first question that I asked before to enter was if they have non spicy food, and they did! I can t say how much the personnel, vibe, atmosphere, management, and food was great. Ali s customer service was incomparable, he went above and beyond. Actually everyone deserved a positive feedback and gratitude, but unfortunately I didn t know the name of the rest of them.

I recently visited Lasbela Restaurant for dinner, and unfortunately the experience was quite different from my previous visit to the restaurant around the same time last year. While Lasbela used to be a reliable option for quality food and good service, my most recent dining experience was quite disappointing. The taste of the food was noticeably lower in quality compared to my prior visit. The flavors seemed muted and the overall quality of the dishes had declined. Additionally, the service was well below average. The waitstaff seemed rushed and untrained, frequently interrupting our meal multiple times to ask if we were finished, clearly trying to rush us out the door. It was an obvious lack of organization and professionalism from the service team. It was quite disappointing to see such a dramatic drop in both the food quality and service level at Lasbela. The waiters persistent behavior of constantly checking if we were done, despite us clearly still eating, was incredibly off-putting and made for an unpleasant overall dining experience. Overall, my recent visit to Lasbela Restaurant was a far cry from the positive experience I had there just a year ago. It seems the restaurant has really struggled to maintain its previous standards, resulting in a meal that was simply not worth the cost. I hope Lasbela can work quickly to address these issues and return to providing the quality food and service it was once known for.

Top notch dining experience. We have not received service this good in years. It is truly outstanding how the whole team is completely devoted to provide an exquisite experience to customers. An extensive and quite alluring menu. Aziz, the owner, took time to explain the different dishes. It is clear he runs a finely tuned outfit. The food was delicious. I came to lasbela on a whim for Houston Restaurant Week, and was blown away by how delicious everything was. I wanted to compare the restaurant to Agas, but came out really pleased with the variety of food beyond just curries! I cant speak for the authenticity but the HRW dinner menu comes with a huge amount of food (I have leftovers for at least two meals) and very attentive service. I appreciate Aftab for his recommendations, and I recommend giving the chicken Karahi curry on the menu a try. Also the garlic Naan slapped

My family and I have come to Lasbela for many, many years. They have firmly established themselves as the best Pakistani restaurant in Houston. Both their food and service are based on going above and beyond for the customer in every way. Ali was awesome! Atmosphere was great and the staff was really friendly. Good service! Make sure to do ask about the spicy level so that you are aware ... I came in a lizard and walked out a dragon. Overall amazing food and ambience. The staff was kind, refreshing, and attentive. Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy, so I usually avoid desi restaurants BUT this place had phenomenal service. Our server (Ali) was very well informed and even guided me to an online PDF with a complete allergen breakdown. I ll definitely be coming back here for sure. Highly recommend.

We had the opportunity to sample Lasbela as part of our wedding catering. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance. It has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and polite. We ordered items throughout the menu to taste. Some items were a hit and some were a miss. We had the mango mojito and it was amazing. It was made fresh. Other items that stood out were the garlic naan, gajar ka halwa, malai boti, reshmi handi, fried fish, pineapple dessert, pataka chicken. The mutton bhuna and biryani were not that great. We were helped by the manager who went above and beyond to give us the best experience. This place is a fine dine. So expect the prices to be high. Overall we had a wonderful time. The customer service deserves an applause. Do check them out.

Today me and my wife went for lunch and we had a great amazing dining experience. Great atmosphere, comfortable seating. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant was playing wonderful background sufi music , which made us feel more better. Bedside crispy, well cooked & well stuffed beef samosa , we ordered mutton karahi. I don t remember the exact name but i think it was called Hasan Karahi anyway it was excellent karahi and was more than enough for two of us. We will definitely visit again and will take our visitors with us.

Today we came for lunch after church and had the best experience! On Sundays they offer brunch buffet until 3pm. The buffet has a lot of delicious options at a great price. Been meaning to come to thus restaurant ever since they first opened. Finally got the chance and I couldnt be more impressed. Walking into the restaurant with simple beauty and subtle decor that set an intimate atmosphere. Backlighted geometric frames added a touch of elegance and class to the restaurant. Staff was all uniformed with traditional vests and looked very professional and attentive. There was more than adequate assistance to serve us and didnt feel overwhelmed or shadowed over. Extremely professional must I say! After being seated. We had our menus and I just wanted it all. Everything seemed very mouth watering and descriptive enough to where everyone could understand. For starters, we ordered patakha chicken bites, masala fries, and hara bhara salad. These dishes bursted with flavor with just the right spice. Entrees included noorani katakat, Lahore beef paya, karachi nihari, and lasbela Sangem kebab. Ordered butter Naan, garlic Naan, and hara bhara Naan. These dishes were also succulently flavourful that made you want to keep on eating. I was very impressed with the quality of food, quantity, price and service which are the four factors of any restaurant and Lasbela surpassed each and every one with flying colors. We ordered zeera Lassi, Pina colada, pakola milk, and Shikan jabeen for our drinks and they were each refreshing in their own ways quenching our thirst. We had their monster margarita (blue lagoon) for dessert. With four adults and three kids, it was enough for everyone! Desi restaurants in general are always a hit or miss. Lasbela conquered every aspect of a successful business, provided exquisitely prestine service, high quality food and wonderful presentation at a very reasonable price. From eloquent atmosphere with ambient music, bursting flavors from back home, and quality all around, this makes it to the top of my list of Pakistani restaurants Ive ever been to. You will NOT be disappointed!
