Its very frustrating when I continously (every yr) for a well.womens exam wait between 40min- and an hr wait. I keep thinking its a fluke but this is a constant. Ill need to find an office more punctual. Giving each pt individual care, does not validate this much delay on a constant. As of now its been 55 minutes. I went to the desk to see if i was still waiting and she was very kind, but asked where I check in. Omgosh :/ I checked in right next to her....this is too much.

I was greeted by friendly, smiling receptionists. My appointment was then confirmed. I was asked to take a seat in the spacious lobby. In about five minutes I was called. A nurse checked my weight, and temperature. We went to a examination room where my medications were reviewed and my BP taken. approximately five minutes later Dr. Hagarty entered the room. She spent about twenty minutes with me and keenly listened to my concerns. I left Sugar Lakes Family Practice feeling confident and with a health plan. Overall it was a very pleasant, comfortable experience.

I like my provider. But the last two times I have tried to schedule an appointment, there is no availability. Several weeks ago I had a 103 fever for three days when I called asking to please be seen, was told they didn t have anything and there was nothing they could do. No alternatives given, no recommendations on what I should do, staff I spoke with didn t seem to care. Today, called again and no availability for any provider.

The doctors were excellent and very kind, but unfortunately, the front desk staff, phone agents, and checkout personnel displayed a poor attitude and were unfriendly and over weight personnel. My experience at Sugar Lakes Family Practice was smooth, cordial, and pleasant. My wait time after checking in was minimal, less than 5 minutes. My Dr. was cordial and professional. He explained things very clearly so that I could understand thoroughly. He gave me a heads up on different scenarios and what to expect from each one. Great experience with my PCP, Dr. Nora Cantu today. Dr. Cantu has been my doctor for over 20 years and is always personable and responsive to my health needs. She remembers who I am and always references my history. As I get older, there is comfort in having Dr. Cantu in my health corner. When I have any issues, the nurses respond quickly to make sure my concerns are addressed. Today the attending nurse was efficient, and prompt in every area. Kudos also to the phlebotomist- his blood draws are painless and quick.. he does the perfect stick every time.

All the services are rendered on or before the promised time in a well established and professorial manner. If you are sick , just call in and theyll definitely squeeze you in to provide you with medical services same day.; I love that All the employees are better than your family; you will never regret. There is something that bothers me about this facility: the Handicapped parking. They do not have enough Handicapped parking and what they have is very far away, further than the closest regualar parking. Please re-arrange the parking and make it closer to the clinic, which should be more Handicap Friendly. Hope you can hear.

I have been coming to this practice for the past three years with no problems. In fact I referred two other individuals to the office. However my last visit was not a good experience as the individual at the front desk passed my medical file to the wrong doctor for an appointment. I waited for 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment only for the wrong doctor to inform me that he was not the doctor I was scheduled to see. He walked me to the front and the front desk receptionist told me I was suppose to be on the other side of the office. When going over to the other side of the office I was informed that I would not be seen because I called and stated I would be forty minutes late to the appointment. When I actually arrived to my scheduled appointment 30 minutes early. The staff were unapologetic for there mistake and the Doctors nurse never came out to speak to me.

The ONLY reason I am giving a four star rating and not a five is because of how long it took me to get my appointment booked. I was on hold for almost 15 minutes. My regular doctor is Dr. Vanderzyl or his P.A., Jennifer, but Dr. V was booked and Jennifer was off. I had to be seen that day so kudos to the scheduler for getting me in to see Ms. Melissa! I was called to the back after sitting in the waiting room for only five minutes. Once in my room, everything moved along great! The nurse was friendly, and Ms. Melissa was great!! She asked me questions and talked to me. She didn t just rush in and rush out. I m typically hesitant about not seeing my doctor or his P.A., but in this case, I m glad I did it! 100%!! Checking out was good, too. No issues at all. Like I said at the beginning, the ONLY bad thing I have to say is about how long it took for me to actually speak to someone to schedule my appointment. I would definitely recommend Sugar Lakes Family Practice!! Great doctors, P.A. s and NP s!!!

Made the move from our previous physician, whom we did not have problems with. It was just too far to drive. The clinic at Sugar Lakes is awesome. Minimal wait times. Staff is very friendly. Ms Falkner has been very friendly and attentive.
