This place has a lot of different stuff. I got a burger and they messed up the order. My friend got a beek brisket, it was pretty good. This place isnt bad, its just not very worth the wait. Thats why I give this place 3 Stars.

The burgers are outstanding! We ve been eating here for over a year and the staff knows how we like our hamburgers and remembers we like them cut in half. They are big enough to share but the hearty eater will appreciate the size! The steak fries, tater tots and onion rings are the perfect sides and very tasty! As a side note, they are building a location behind Buccees on Crab River Road

This place makes very good food. Everything tastes delicious and the prices are reasonable. However, an attention needed for the cleanliness of the place. Tables are sticky from grease, restrooms are not clean, and the smell of the whole place is bad. A restaurant should not smell like sewage, I am not being harsh but this is what the place smells to me from the first step I take into the restaurant. I hope the owner sees my review and please, I am not saying that this place is not good. It is one of my favorites! But I really wish the cleanliness and especially the smell be taken into consideration. Thank you!!

Stopped for lunch with my wife, intrigued by the Mediterranean slant. It is very different from the menu served at the 9ers we know in Pecan Grove. . I had the kababs with hummus and babaghanouch. My wife had the chicken shawarma sandwich and fries. Of the two, I much preferred hers. My beef was well cooked and seasoned, but each piece had a tough strip of gristle. It was difficult and unpleasant to eat. I envied her fat french fries with envy as I soon grew tired of my sides; they were quite similar. . I do want to note that one review mentioned their terrrific BBQ; there is no BBQ here, it is only in the 9ers BBQ in Pecan Grove. . I believe we are one and done with this location.

This is an excellent spot to get American style halal food from country style chicken fried steak to burgers and even Mediterranean style platter. The food is delicious and service is fast. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked medium temp. Burger and wings were also very delicious. Above all, the portions size are Texas sized (large) with two sides each and a salad. This is a hidden gem and a great Halal spot. Parking: Free parking lot with plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: They have separate kids menu.

Today, my family and I had a shocking experience at this restaurant. Upon entering, we noticed our 4-year-old son holding a foam cup by the fountain machine. Concerned about its origin, we took the cup and proceeded to the cashier to place our order for dining in. However, instead of being greeted warmly, the cashier immediately became upset and demanded to know where our son got the cup. Despite explaining our reasons and politely asking him to discard it since we were ordering food and drinks, he rudely exclaimed, Now you cost me a cup! A foam cup! His response was incredibly off-putting and unwelcoming. We asked him if he was joking, but again, he said No Im serious, you cost me this cup while were at the casher to order food that will probably end with a minimum of $65. When we decided to cancel our order due to the unpleasant interaction, he didnt seem to care about losing costumes and simply said goodbye. We even offered to pay for the foam cup we cost him, which is worth a mere $0.075, but he refused. This level of customer service is unacceptable and disappointing. We will never consider this place anymore.

Delicious buffet!! By the end of my dinner, I tried every single thing they had and it was all beautifully seasoned. The meat was tender and of good quality and I m picky too! Americana classics, done below average in just about every way. Its a nice space, and has survived a long time unlike the half dozen trying to pay the rent before it, but the food is bland. Your poboy will be worse than fast food, your chicken fried chicken will be large but bland and cooked too long with the saddest white gravy this side of the mason-dixon line. And theres absolutely no reason to get the fajitas when youre in Texas and an at least half decent Mexican place is every few miles. And brisket from a non-barbecue place in Texas? I only have myself to blame for that self-own. Ive eaten here maybe half a dozen times in the last decade because its less than half a mile from my house, but its always even worse than I remember. Well, the patio is nice at least. Except when the swarms of middle school students come out when schools out but thats not anybodys fault except puberty.

Came here for my sisters 17th birthday. Restaurant is really clean and has a great atmosphere with lots of items on the menu! Everything was reasonably priced and the portions are nice and big! Lots of seating inside and out. The staff was really friendly and patient, and when we got our food it was delicious. But the best part was the owner/manager came to our table and asked what dessert my sister would like for her birthday on the house. He gave us some time to think till we finished our food and when she told chose one (pecan fudge pie) he brought out two slices of pie and an ice cream all on the house. They even wrote Happy Bday on the containers !! The waitress gave my sister a hug and wished her a special day. My sister was so touched she asked to give them manager a hug as well and he was so sweet. Truly an amazing place, with great food and amazing people. We re so glad we decided to come here and I will definitely be back!

I visited this restaurant on Monday, June 5th. I and my wife got attracted by their menu and their 4.3 rating out of 5. As you enter the restaurant you will feel the stinky smell. We ordered chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. I cant explain in words the quality and smell of the food they served. It was highly unhygienic after eating 2 - 3 bites I started feeling nauseous and we left the food as it is on the table and restaurant without saying a word. On the way back I was holding my vomit because I was driving the car and even today if I think of that food I feel nauseous. We were attracted by the diverse menu options, but we were disappointed by the poor hygiene and quality of the food. As you can see in the picture, we found a roach in one of our dishes, which makes us wonder how dirty their kitchen is. This is unacceptable and enough to make us never come back. We didnt want to write a negative review, but we noticed that other customers also complained about bugs or hair in their food or drinks, so we felt obliged to share our experience. In addition, the chicken dishes we ordered were either too dry and overcooked or too raw and undercooked. They also forgot some of our sides in our pickup order and called us later to get them, but it was already too late. This might not have been a big deal by itself, but along with the other issues, it made us lose trust in the restaurant. We would not recommend it to anyone or give it another chance. Went here for lunch after eating at the one in Bay City a few days before. I was thoroughly impressed with both locations. This one was also a Mediterranean Cafe as well so it offered no pork, which was a plus. The food came out quickly, which is usually bad, but in this case, it was awesome and fresh. The food was seasoned so well. I will definitely be back there to eat. We ate the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans, fried mushrooms, hamburger meal and Philly Cheesesteak meal. I definitely recommend this place. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was so clean.

March 2023: recommended by family as a great halal meats local eatery. It is more like a dinner with elaborate menu( burgers /Mexican/BBQ). We ordered a lot for 7 people. The food was spot on. overall I had a good experience. The food was tasty and everything else about the restaurant was good. However, there was one issue that kept me from giving it a higher rating: the excessive amount of grease on the food. While I enjoyed the flavor of my meal, I found myself having to use napkins to remove the excess grease. It was a bit of a turnoff, and I feel like it could have been avoided with a bit more attention to detail in the cooking process. Aside from that, I have to say that I enjoyed my visit. Great service and food! We received good recommendations from the staff. T-bone was very tender and juicy. The West Texas ribeye was a little more tough even though we ordered both steaks cooked medium. Greek salad with the steak was a nice side. Everything came out piping hot. I would give 0 stars if I could . We went on a Friday night the 30th of December at 9:15 pm , knowing they closed at 10 pm and the workers told us we could only eat outside on 30 degree weather or take the food to go. Here s my thoughts Chicken Sandwich: the chicken was over cooked and under seasoned, the bread was the only redemption. The chicken was over cooked and the char on the skin made it seem like they don t clean there grill often. Fries: no seasoning and soggy, tasted like they were sitting out for quite a while before being plated Customer service: the guy at the counter could care less to spark a conversation and often had his back towards the guests, while watching tv on his ipad. The menu displays: they aren t pointed towards the guests, as they are angled almost making it seem like its to tell the workers whats in each of the items. Customer Service: wasn t asked if this was our first time, wasn t asked how the food was. Overall it was a mediocre experience because of the low food quality and lack of service provided. I wouldn t recommend.

I want to highlight 9ers Grill as a local business adding value to our local community. The place is friendly and has a cozy environment, is close by, has easy parking, and a great selection of casual food (more than I can note here - go and try it all).
