The noodles themselves at this place at really good and the staff were courteous to me. I got beef noodle soup and the soup was ok, not spicy. Theres just not that much beef and like three pieces of bok choy. I did like the noodles. I do not recommend the braised chicken. It tasted like it was made a week ago and sat in the fridge. It was really dry and small. Just stick with noodles and you will be ok.

I recently visited Xing s Kitchen, and I have to express my disappointment. While inflation has affected prices across the U.S. this year, the cost of their basic noodles has increased significantly. It s frustrating to see a self-service noodle shop adopting Western practices by adding tips on top of already inflated prices. It s disappointing that this establishment seems to be taking advantage of their own community during tough times.

The food is always good. And the owners are always nice. But the old cashier girl had really bad attitude and tried forcing me to leave tips claiming we never tipped her before. She got yelled at two other male customers in the line ahead of me. and she took all that on me. Canceling the order one time after I didn t leave tip and asked for tips claiming her salary only lives on the tips and I don t understand being in US for that long about tipping people. With this kind of bad attitude she is asking for tips is indeed ridiculous. I am shamed of my own people like that. And of course, who is going to tip after being treated like this. Hopefully the owner can pay more attention on the bad manners of the cashier that break their reputation of the restaurant.

It s like a family owned diner style. They might don t have the best decorations and service like fancy restaurants, but they have super authentic Chinese food here. They really have passion and respect about food. They do their Chinese hamburger in a right way. Crispy shell with soft flour bun inside. Shanxi oil noodles is really really good. All noodles are handmade, thick and flavorful. I have been here several times and never disappointed. Chinese hamburger and Shanxi oil noodles are must try!

Update 11/04/2023: Still so delicious. Definitely better when eaten fresh from the kitchen instead of to-go. Shanxi noodles got the perfect bite and flavor. Best thing here hands down. Awesome, authentic place for a quick bite inside Jusgo in Sugar Land! Came for lunch on a weekday and got their Shanxi oil noodles, beef noodle soup, marinaded cucumbers, and the pork burger. Everything was super delicious. The Shanxi oil noodles were my favorite, it comes topped with some chili oil and special house sauce that is ridiculously tasty. No meat on this thing, only bok choy, but its so good you dont miss the protein. The beef noodle soup was very tasty as well, though fair warning it is a bit herbally and has a pretty strong kick. I found it delicious but if youre adverse to strong Chinese herbal flavor, you may not enjoy it as much. The cucumbers were well marinaded and reminds me of my childhood. Very light and refreshing appetizer. The pork burger was very good too, with a bun thats crunchy on the outside and soft, slightly chewy inside. Everything here was made fresh to order, so there can be a slight wait time from when you order to when the food gets to your table. Its truly a mom and pop shop thats also mainly self serve, so dont expect table service here. Orders are placed at the counter then you grab a seat to wait for your food. I highly recommend this place for authentic northern Chinese food. The menu isnt huge but what they do serve are exceptionally good.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the most popular Chinese noodle restaurant in sugarland. Xing s kitchen offers a delightful variety of regional noodle dishes. This establishment impressed me with its diverse menu, offering both Shaanxi-style Youpo Mian and Henan-style Yangrou Huimian. Lets start with the Shaanxi Youpo Mian. The Youpo Mian here is a true gem, featuring chewy noodles and a well-balanced, moderately spicy sauce that keeps you coming back for more. The ambiance is cozy and clean, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Plus, it wont break the bank, making it a fantastic value for a mouthwatering, spicy noodle experience. On the other hand, the Henan Yangrou Huimian is an equally remarkable offering. The Yangrou Huimian served here is a culinary delight, with hearty noodles, tender and juicy lamb, and a rich, savory broth thats truly unforgettable. The restaurants ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff ensures you feel right at home. While it may be slightly pricier, the quality and taste make it well worth the investment for an exceptional lamb noodle experience. The appetizer features a delightful combination of flavors and textures, with smoked chicken and marinated pig feet taking center stage. The smoked chicken is a tender and succulent showcase of culinary expertise, with a perfectly smoky aroma and a rich, savory taste that lingers on the palate. Its meat is delicately seasoned and cooked to perfection, ensuring a mouthwatering experience for every bite. Complementing the smoked chicken, the marinated pig feet offer a unique and tantalizing contrast. The pig feet are marinated in a flavorful blend of spices and seasonings, resulting in a harmonious balance of sweet and savory notes. The marinade enhances the natural richness of the meat, making it tender and full of flavor. With every bite, the marinated pig feet offer a delightful interplay of textures, from the tender outer layer to the gelatinous, melt-in-your-mouth interior. Together, these two elements create an appetizer that is both visually appealing and a gastronomic delight. The smoked chicken and marinated pig feet combination provides a memorable and indulgent culinary experience, making it a standout choice for those who appreciate complex, savory, and succulent flavors. In conclusion, this restaurant is a noodle lovers paradise, offering both spicy and lamb noodle dishes. Whether youre craving the zesty flavors of Shaanxi Youpo Mian or the succulent indulgence of Henan Yangrou Huimian, this place has you covered. Dont miss out on this fantastic opportunity to savor the best of both regional noodle worlds in one spot!

The food is excellent!! We went there with kids and all of us loved it. The wait is a bit but totally worth it. The space is limited and they are short staffed. Give these guys a bit room and let them grow. We ordered the braised tofu for appetizer. It is a cold dish. The taste was new to me. It was alright, could do with a bit more flavor. We ordered the beef noodle soup, the Henan lamb stew and the Shanxi oil noodle. The oil noodle was the best followed by the lamb stew and then the beef noodle.

Had the Shanxi oil noodles and they were delicious. Noodles tasted freshly made and had the right texture, not too soggy. One of my first times ordering noodles without protein but the flavor was so delicious and savory, I did not miss it! Everything together worked so well for the oil noodles. We also got the cold noodles to contrast the warm noodles and the flavor was so refreshing. The cold noodles didnt look like it had much going on but dont be fooled, it was so tasty without be overly greasy. Cannot wait to go back and try other noodles. Of course we also tried the pork burger and it tasted good! Pulled pork is very tender and flavorful, although a bit greasy for me. And we topped it off with a Chinese orange soda. We went on a Saturday for lunch but it wasnt too busy. Its basically walk in and order then seat yourself. Food came out pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend.

If noodles are your love language, especially authentic ones, then dont skip out on this place. This mom and pop serves up delicious hand-pulled noodle dishes, flavorful braised meats, and tasty veggie appetizers that complements the meal. On the most recent visit, I got the popular Henan lamb noodle soup, braised beef, woodear mushroom appetizer, and rou jia mo (chinese hamburger). -lamb noodle soup: Im not really familiar with Henan-style food, but this noodle soup got me hooked, and those who favors lamb over any other protein cant help but to devour the whole bowl. The soup base is light with savory lamb flavor, and the hand-pulled noodles, glass noodles, shredded tofu slices, woodear mushroom, lamb slices, and quail eggs, all comes together so well, wish it was possible for me to stomach two of these bowls. -braised beef: they used beef shank and the dish is often eaten cold as an appetizer, but I like to order this as a side to have with the noodle soup. Definitely gotta try. -woodear mushroom appetizer: I like the flavoring of the vinegar, garlic, and soysauce that goes into this dish. Calling all mushroom lovers to give this a go. -rou jia mo: these chinese hamburger leaves you with no guilt after chowing down on one (or more). With a light bun stuffed with braised chopped up pork, you cant stop at one bite. They also have homemade chili oil when dining in, that will actually add some spice to your life (or food), so dont be shy to show some love to the noodles (or any of the dishes) by drenching them with the flavorful hot chili oil. Aside from amazing authentic food, service is great, and place is nice and clean. Its a small restaurant so seating is about 5-6 tables inside with a couple additional seating outside. Its conveniently located inside the Sugarland Jusgo market, so you can do a grocery trip and food run in one go. And if youre not feeling noodle soup, give these a try: the shaanxi oil noodles and noodles with sesame paste. And dont forget to grab some braised chicken, smashed cucumbers, and dry sliced tofu as well, all are good.

(Okay, I understand) The second time I went to eat in the restaurant again, there were empty tables, and there were two front desks. One was checking out, and when he saw me, he asked me to wait, and the other A front desk clerk was watching me. I waited for a long time, but no one asked me to sit down first (there was an empty seat. Another front desk clerk was standing at the front desk, watching me. I didnt know he was waiting. What...) I can only leave. I cant accept such service. I hope the boss can improve after seeing it, otherwise I wont dare to come back to eat.

As a regular shopper to Jusgo, we passed by this place many times, but just chance to try it today. Took a bit of time to get our food, but its worth the wait! We ordered beef noodle soup and lamb noodle, it was delicious! The noodle tasted homemade. Will be back for sure.

We made a trip out here after Mike Chen s houston video on a Saturday during lunch time, and not surprisingly it was packed. They had stopped taking phone orders due to the volume. We aborted that day and ventured out again on a Friday afternoon. The beef noodles were delicious but not creme de la creme. Our overwhelming favorite is the you po mian (chili oil noodles?). I ve had many spicy noodle dishes but none quite like this. We loved it so much we ordered three more to go (noodles for breakfast anyone?). We are a big fan of duck necks in general, which they do have, but we didn t try it then. They closed early that day to prep for the next day, Google says 7pm but it was perhaps 5ish when they closed. They had run out of the Chinese pork sandwich too (rou jia mo). We loved it and would make the hike out to the burbs again for delicious noodles. Recommend going earlier in the day or calling before you head over. Enjoy!

Really bad services. It took 1 hour to get my noodle. The taste is average level, but the service cannot be accepted.
