I used James Abbott and Brianna please read in full. I was pretty much lost when I walked into this place not knowing what to expect , I just needed help. I hired them and even though they are a law firm with hundreds of clients, they took the time to deal with me and put up with all my needs. James is an Outstanding Lawyer and Brianna is a Rockstar and is someone that will help you and coach you every step of the way while James is handling things. The staff is easy to talk to when you call just understand that not everyone is a Lawyer up there so when you ask for advice its only that. These people are the worst lawyers I know, Brissy told me that I didn t have to file for child support when I finalized my divorce , as my ex and I had a mutual agreement, and once I was divorced she stopped paying child support so I tried to hit her with child support and turns out Abbott law office was wrong, it cost me several years of child support since this place misled me. Now my girlfriend hired him to get custody of her child from her abusive ex husband and today Abbott quits on her with just a few months till the final hearing date. All because he did a poor job at the first hearing and wasn t able to get her custody, my girlfriend kept asking for them to please continue to try and they just basically gave up. They finally got tired of it and just quit and are trying to charge us 5,000 for poor representation. Looks like we will be taking them to court for abandoning the case and not doing their job. Moral of the story is if you want somebody to help you win your baby, this is not the place, they don t care and will walk on you like they did to my girlfriend or give you bad advice that helps the other person win. Sometimes I think they are there to help the opposite party win. Highly recommend you to look elsewhere! And you say I m a serial complainer? You shouldn t take $5200 from women and not finish the case and just quit on them, you ll have to explain to God one day for that.

If you want to lose custody of your child these people are perfect for you. Gave them 10,000 dollars just for them to screw me over not only financially but to where I dont even get to see my daughter as much anymore but 2 times a month. Mainly because the other person says no and Abott knew that too. I regret ever going over to abott. They are non-communitive, sneaky, and a total rip off. I cry everyday because of them. All I ever wanted was my daughter and it all got screwed up because of them.

I was very pleased with the service of this office. From the moment I walked in for a consultation, I felt welcomed. My divorce took just at five months, and during that time I never felt that my case was never not important to them. Let me start off by saying I live in Washington. My dad lived in Amarillo and my dad passed on Monday by Thursday morning. I was in Amarillo trying to figure out a lawyer called James s office and spoke to them. They assured me everything would be fine and that afternoon I was sitting in their office going over what would happen, and they started me in a almost year long process of dealing with my dad s estate being his ex-wife, was fighting it Jerry one of the gentleman that works for James was always happy to answer my questions always willing to help and always trying to be a friend. I am very grateful for them and everything they did for me. I would recommend them to anybody 100% it is an amazing law firm that I would happily work with again. I didn t feel overcharged. I didn t feel like they I ever was a bother, but they always were there to help me no matter the situation or what I was going through and they were happy to talk if you want somebody that cares about you they re the people to go to. James Abbott filed my non-contested divorce. It was just 82 days from our first meeting to the date the divorce was final! It would have been sooner, but there were some real estate issues to work out which were not their fault at all. Both Matt and Jerry were very responsive and patient with all my questions and concerns. Under the circumstances, I believe everything went as smoothly as it could have. It began in early 2021, and I appreciated the precautions they were still taking regarding the Corona Virus. I also loved the support dog!! I would recommend them to anyone in a similar situation. James and his whole team are absolutely amazing James has gotten me everything we have asked for in court even though my case is not over yet James and his entire team continue to work endless hours, nights and even weekends on my case to prepare for the final hearing! They have already went above and beyond what I could have ever expected from a lawyer and his team! They are very professional! They have also been here every step of the way whenever I ve needed them. They have always been very efficient on getting back to me in a timely manner and they have answered all my questions and concerns immediately! I am extremely pleased with everything James Abbott did for me! I had a pretty difficult and abnormal case and James provided nothing but his upfront and honest opinion. He was always available and kept me informed immediately! James if very assertive and understanding. He never lead me in the wrong direction. I cannot say enough about Abbott Law Office. They went above and beyond to help me with my divorce. I was so busy working and hardly had any time but he was able to meet with me over zoom. He walked me through every step before we started and he made me feel super confident in the whole process. It was pretty quick and painless for me which was great especially during these harsh COVID time. Well worth every penny!! By far best experience dealing with an attorney! Had searched and called many others for cost of adoption, and was quoted from $7,000-$10,000 from them.
