My husband took me to Oak Tree Manor because he had driven past it, saw the amazing oak tree and thought it would be the perfect place for us to have our wedding. He was right. Oak Tree Manor is a venue where your wedding party can get ready, then have the ceremony, transition to a cocktail hour and the reception without making your guests drive to a second location, while giving them the feeling of separate locations because of the size of the grounds and the smart layout of the space. Haydee and her staff were marvelous from the start. She answered all our questions from choosing the date to picking a menu that would accommodate guests with dietary restrictions, and helped us turn back time to create the 1920s-themed wedding we dreamed of. On our wedding day this past weekend, our guests were swept back to the 1920s with us, because of all the work of Haydee and her team. The guests loved the beautiful grounds, the kind and attentive staff, the beautiful reception hall, and they raved about the food, especially the mac&cheese bites and the fajitas. During the wedding, Haydee was both invisible, and everywhere at once. She knew what needed to be done before we did, and helped make it happen. They day was seamless and beautiful. Throughout the planning, and on our wedding day, there were countless small things that the Oak Tree Manor team did that confirmed for us that we made the right choice of venue. We are so happy we chose Oak Tree Manor, and heartily recommend it.

The Oak Tree Manor is one of the most beautiful wedding venues. You MUST go and see it for yourself! As soon as you enter the large private property you cannot help but notice the meticulous landscaping. Every inch of the property is filled with lovely plants, trees, and butterflies with plenty of places to sit and admire the design. There is also a large lighted gazebo with fans not to mention fountains. The enormous manor house is exquisitely decorated. So many gorgeously designed rooms. You never want to leave. The hall is breathtaking!!!! Large with two spiral staircases. There are two beautiful rooms upstairs for guests to relax and enjoy. At night when the large oak tree with chandeliers is lit up you can feel the magic of this spectacular place. We were blessed to meet the wonderful family that owns and operates the Oak Tree Manor. A welcoming family that works together to make every detail of your special day sheer perfection. We worked closely with Jose, a true professional. He kept communication open and delivered everything he promised. We are truly grateful to the Oak Tree Manor and will have all our special occasions there!

I was maid of honor for a wedding here this past weekend and I have to say, my experience with the management here was far better than my own wedding at a different venue. Jose was wonderful. Im so glad I had his card so I could text him for questions/help the day of or even for missing items the day after. They were very accommodating of extra walkthroughs as we got closer to the day. The wait staff was efficient and easy to work with. Best of all, they were nothing but excited when we said we wanted to jump in the pool at the end of the night. They made my job easier as MOH and were such a pleasure to work with.

I used this venue for my wedding on March 17 and I am so happy I did! We chose this venue because I have always wanted to get married outside (just like in the movie twilight). This venue has a beautiful oak tree that gives a magical feeling and it was exactly what I was looking for. The venue inside is small, but it allowed for a more intimate reception. This place also include a bridal and groom suite to get ready. Haydee was the on that helped us from start to finish and made the experience so easy and stress free. My wedding was everything I wanted and more! I highly recommend the Oak Tree manor if you re looking to have an outdoor ceremony with a tree. The only suggestion I would add is that if you and your party likes to drink make sure that you provide your own measurements for the drinks. Unfortunately, we felt that the bartenders made the drinks too sweet and did not use enough liquor.

My family member had a wedding here recently, and the experience couldnt have been better. In the morning during the set-up, the employees were very helpful, and the venue manager Haiti (sp?) was very friendly and welcoming. The bride and grooms parties had ample room to get ready in separate houses on the property. Our photographer had an easy time getting great shots of everybody since the venues gorgeous, and the clean-up was made a hell of a lot easier thanks to the staff putting a lot of effort into helping out. This 5-star review is especially for the work they put in at the very end of a long day; it was very much appreciated.

Jose manages an absolutely beautiful venue. We had our wedding there this past Saturday and it was nothing short of amazing! We were able to visit the venue several times leading up to the event and talked through all the details with Jose. The food tasting was scheduled well ahead of the event and their menu offers so many options, we had trouble choosing. All the appetizers and meals came out tasting fabulous. The venue allowed us to bring our own liquor and mixers for the bar and provided a bartender to serve the guests. We brought our own cake and desserts and the staff assisted with setting the dessert table for us. We had access to the venue at 9am the day of the wedding and had plenty of time to set up decorations and prepare before the start of the event. Jose was always quick to respond to emails and flexible when our plans changed. Overall, the space is huge, beautiful and provides the best atmosphere for a special day. My husband and I just had our vow renewal here 3 weeks ago, and all of the other reviews about Oak Tree Manor (OTM) are absolutely true. Jose was my venue coordinator and he was communicative and accommodating from the very beginning of planning. He responded to all of my emails, long and short, no matter how trivial, within 12 hours or less. We visited the venue 4 times during the course of planning, and Jose did not hover. He gave us space to walk around and look at things at our own pace but was there to answer any questions we had while we were there. On the day of the event, everything went well! We dropped everything off to OTM to set up in the morning, and everything was so well taken care of that my husband and I had time to take a nap in the main house before we needed to get ready and before the vendors arrived, lol! The valet went smoothly, the OTM staff offered refreshments before the ceremony to help keep people cool in the 100 degree Texas summer heat, the oak tree is amazing and provided much needed shade during the ceremony. Even our guests who are picky eaters complimented on OTMs catering! The catering staff was attentive and cleared drinks and food from the tables in the timely manner. The bartender executed and served our signature drinks flawlessly. There was never a line at the bar after the initial rush of guests entering for cocktail hour. My husband and I didnt get a chance to try the appetizers during cocktail hour but my guests told me that they were passed around very well and the servers even made a point to pass the trays around to guests waiting at the bar. You also cant beat the price and selection of OTMs in-house catering! OTM was a bed and breakfast before they became a full time wedding venue. We made use of the B&B option! We paid for on-site lodging at the main house and townhouse for my husband, me, my parents, son, and brother. The houses were kept at a nice cool temperature and it was easy to fall asleep after a night of partying. The morning after, Magda was in the main house making breakfast for my family and it was delicious! It was a spread of tamales, eggs, toast, bacon, fruit, yogurt, and a select of fruit juices, coffee, and milk. We forgot to take a photo, otherwise, I wouldve included a photo of the breakfast spread in this review. All in all, OTM was a fantastic choice for our vow renewal. My father is disabled and we have a 2 year old, so having the onsite lodging option to allow them to go rest whenever they needed while the rest of the party was going put OTM a level above the rest of the venues we looked at. We did not need to worry about asking someone to drive them to a hotel and we also did not need to worry about driving ourselves to a hotel after everything was over. Weddings are tiring! OTM had all of our decor, and leftover alcohol and cake perfectly packed up and on hand trucks all ready for us to load in our cars the next morning when we checked out. Highly recommend! I am ashamed to admit I am only just now reviewing Oak Tree Manor from my April wedding - they truly deserve a more prompt review for their amazing work! I cannot say enough about how organized, helpful, friendly and beautiful this venue and it s staff were throughout our entire process. We booked with them roughly last July and over the course of our months working together, Haydee was incredibly helpful and informative, prompt and just an all around angel. This venue could not have been more beautiful or well maintained - our guests are still talking about how beautiful and enchanted our evening outdoor wedding & reception was. Really such a romantic and dazzling atmosphere! Our dinner and appetizers were from their partnered catering service s menu. We and our guests were collectively impressed with the dishes and I would recommend other couples to use this option as well. The pricing was comparable to any other options I looked at but without the extra hassle if you re coordinating it all yourself. Haydee, we appreciate everything you did for us through the long planning process and the day of our event! Anyone looking to get married here will be in the best hands.

Went here recently for a wedding. The grounds are pretty and the staff was polite, but the details were not together. We showed up and we know the bride provided a head count but we were still 2 tables short of having enough seats. The tables I understood but it was dinner that earned my 2 star rating. It was clear no one knew how to plan the meal. The first few tables had no issues. The second half of the reception got very small portions. Before we knew it the food was gone and whole tables didn t eat. Several guests had to order in pizza/delivery at our expense to have dinner.

When we first stepped on the grounds on Oak Tree Manor, I immediately knew that this was where I wanted to have our wedding. This place is beyond beautiful, it is definitely a hidden gem. The oak tree is breathtaking, and imagining having our ceremony under the oak tree was all i could daydream about after having our tour there. Their bride and groom quarters are also very nice, spacious and accommodating. I was so happy to have chosen Oak tree manor for our wedding. Jose was the venue manager who assisted us. Since day one from our tour he was attentive, and always responded to any questions or concerns in a promptly manner that we had leading up to the wedding day. Food from Chef Mark was great, all of our guests enjoyed the food. Their bartender was amazing and executed the signature drinks perfectly, the bar always had a line. This venue looks run down and dirty no one was there to visit us we walked around the property on our own, texted called no one responded nor answered. We had an appointment for 11:30am today arrived on time took a few minutes to get the baby out the car when we rang the doorbell in front it was 11:35am nothing. We walked around and hated the venue. When we walked in the large reception building a gentleman was sitting in his office saw us and never came down to say hi or introduce himself. So out loud I said I m giving myself a tour since no one is here to greet.

My daughters dream was to get married under an old oak tree and with only 5 weeks to plan her wedding, Haydee and her team made our experience one for the history books. From start to finish, this was by far my favorite experience with any vendor to date. Haydee answered all my many questions and supported us from start to finish. I cant say enough great things about the grounds. From the old house in the front, to the reception hall and grooms house in the back, everything was set up perfectly as described. The grounds are maintained very well and are full of mature plants and even has a gazebo in the front for guest seating and picture opportunities. And then theres the tree! The tree is a beautiful sight in the daytime, but the nighttime is when the magic happens. My daughters ceremony was set an hour before dusk so we had post ceremony pictures with the golden hour sunset perfectly cascading over the tree. The reception hall was setup for 100 guests with outdoor seating as well. Haydee was also was available all day the day of, which made last minute questions a breeze. Overall I would like to thank Haydee and the team at Oak Tree Manor for such a wonderful wedding experience!!!

What a lovely place!!! Everything was perfect. We loved having our wedding here. The food was delicious all our guests loved all the menu. My family and all our guests couldnt get over how amazing the spaces were. The big tree, the garden, the house, everything was just perfect. The price is the best you will get for such a beautiful venue. We loved the menu, they have a lot of options and we also had an open bar. (100% recommend.) Our tour guide Jose, never showed up. We arrived 10 mins early, and a grounds keeper let us in the house. We waited around for 15 mins and still never saw anyone. We did not get a phone number prior to arriving, but called the one we found on the front porch and got an answering service. We were instructed to wait outside which we did for another 10 mins before we left. The only person we saw was the grounds keeper. I received a text 30 mins after our appointment time saying he was running late. Its a shame we did not get to see the property, but I would never trust the staff to hold my wedding.

Jose was very rude the minute we stepped through the gates of Oak Tree Manor. The grounds are gorgeous and it would be a dream of any bride and groom to have their wedding there. BUT we were sorely ignored on our visit. Jose was on his phone the entire time and barely gave us his attention. Once we noticed that he wasnt interested in actually helping us during our tour we rushed through the rest of it and walked briskly to our car and left. The venue wasnt what were looking for anyway but it wouldve been nice to have an actual professional interaction. -10/10 would not recommend .

If you are considering Oak Tree Manor, my advice is to book it! The pictures are beautiful but it is even better in person. We absolutely loved working with Haydee and her team, I was thrilled that so much was included with the venue (including the tasty food!), and we had a magical celebration. If you are like me and don t want to mess with a lot of fussy decor, Oak Tree Manor s natural beauty makes it easy (of course, you could definitely add your own touch if you wanted to). We were looking for an outdoor venue, partly for covid safety, and when I saw the trees at Oak Tree Manor I fell in love. We live in Dallas but I grew up near Houston and my family is still there. We also loved the proximity to IAH since we were inviting many guests from out of state. Haydee took me on a zoom tour and explained all that they offer, and I was totally sold. I had a lot of questions and Haydee was always quick to respond. She worked with me to schedule a site visit on the weekend so that both of us could be there. She even went above and beyond the night of our event when one of the vendors was less than professional. Our guests were full of compliments for the staff and the beautiful fairyland that is Oak Tree Manor at night. Shoutout to the bartenders who made our signature cocktails with just my written recipe. Close to our September 11th date, I was a little nervous about the weather but it cooled off just in time, plus the trees keep everything on the grounds a few degrees cooler. We loved being able to hang out with our wedding party and get ready in the beautiful houses on-site. Highly recommend!

A magical place! This place is undoubtedly divine. The external area, reception and house have a unique and very special touch, ideal for celebrating important moments in the best possible way. You will not regret! Divine spaces for some dream photos. We love this place and it is a pleasure for us to be able to share this review and invite you to book this incredible space. We had our pre-wedding Indian event here at night time, almost six years ago! We still have guests talk about the event! Two separate families have even booked events here after attending our event. The entire venue was so beautiful and the planning so easy- Haydee and her team at Oak Tree Manor were incredible and so accommodating! I cant recommend this venue enough. If we ever have to do another event in Houston, we will definitely book here again.

This place is so beautiful. I recommend having your wedding here if you love lights and the outdoors. The whole place is nicely kept, Jose is super friendly and very responsive. The price is reasonable. At my wedding, I received so many compliments on the food (they do their own catering). Overall was a 10/10 experience. :)

Wedding 12/11/2020. Jose was so easy to work with and responded to my questions quickly. Communication was great the ENTIRE time and his GORGEOUS venue speaks for itself. The outdoor area is stunning and we loved having separate houses on the property for the bride/groom to get ready in. His wedding packages are so reasonable for the value and service you receive. Staff were all very polite and kind, bartender was great, and food was DELICIOUS. Jose was very flexible and accommodating with all my requests and DIY spirit, and I appreciated that he wasn t super restrictive like many other venues are. We couldn t be happier having our special day at Oak Tree Manor.

The Oak Tree Manor is a beautiful venue!! I love their outdoors - the huge oak tree, beautiful house and fountain, lounge areas and the string lights!! They make such beautiful photos. Their reception hall is also very spacious. Highly recommend!

The whole experience was amazing! Haydee was great, she took care of everything for us. Haydee was extremely helpful and even during the pandemic she continue to make the entire process pleasant and our special day unforgettable. Maggie really puts a lot of care into the place which really made our guest comfortable and our stay welcoming. We stayed at the main house and she made us an amazing breakfast and our first day as man and wife unforgettable. The venue is spectacular, our photographer was able to take so many pictures. The staff were professional and our guest were taken care of. They were so organized, they packed our leftovers and desserts for us, made everything so easy for us. We are so happy to have our wedding at Oak Tree Manor, it honestly was an extraordinary experience and I am so grateful for all of their hard work!

Over 100 years old originally built by the historic Wuensche family. Beautiful wedding/event facility that I never knew existed. I attended a relatively small wedding held outdoors under an immense live oak tree. The reception hall was also very nice and the food was very good.

My husband and I got married last November. We toured OTM and fell in love. We picked them as our wedding venue without seeing any other venues to compare. Jose and staff was nothing but amazing. I love that this venue is pretty much all inclusive. All we had to worry about was the DJ, cake, and photographer/ videographer. It was a huge stress relief. Jose was great and answered any and all of my questions and concerns within 24 hours. They truly have a magical place there. Our day was perfect and went off without a hitch. If you are looking for a garden wedding, that oak tree with stringed lights is simply breathtaking.

I am a planner and visited the venue with my bride and groom to be yesterday. I was delighted to to see this venue for the 1st time. It is so Super Cute! Absolutely Breathtaking. Staff was amazing and so nice and showed impeccable management skills. This venue is a must see before you book a venue! Highly recommend. They offer all inclusive packages and my couple raved about their tasting! This one has my vote. Oak Tree Manner has it all together and right on spot. I am pleased with everything I saw and heard and super excited to be a part of this upcoming wedding.

This was the perfect place to have my wedding. The oak tree was beautiful for pictures and for the backdrop, the house was perfect to get ready in and wonderful for photos, and the reception hall was spacious and just as elegant and beautiful as the outside. Jose was wonderful to work with, they made everything easy and wanted the day to be as perfect for me as I did! The food was great and everyone really enjoyed the wedding and had a wonderful time. Our daughters wedding in June 2013 was absolutely perfect. From booking the wedding back in September 2012 through the actual day, Haydee and her staff walked us through every step of the way. We had the ceremony outside under the majestic tree with the reception indoors in the big reception hall. The accommodations for the bridal party and all of the grooms party was exceptional. Every little detail was handled just as we requested from the staff the day of the wedding. As we were setting up, they couldnt have been more accommodating. When we thought we might have a minor crisis, Haydee handled it perfectly with calm assurances and great alternatives. Oak Tree Manor is a magical place and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

We were engaged on September 1st and booked Oak Tree by the end of the month. The tree and grounds, particularly when lit up at night are magical. We had a small wedding, 60 people, but the facility can easily accommodate 200+. We had both the ceremony and reception onsite. I will admit that I balked at the price, however, the service and care were first class. Jose and his team are caring, patient and willing to do whatever they can to make your wedding dreams come true. Jose is relaxed and easy to deal with even when youre not. The whole staff is friendly, welcoming and hard-working. With so many things to worry about, it was so comforting to not have to worry about our venue at all.
