Im at a loss for words on how truly spectacular this venue and staff are! Esmeralda is out if this world and answered and all questions with a breeze! I would recommend this venue ten fold! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

I came here before for a family event and I kept this place mind. I love how they have everything in one place. I didn t have to make that extra travel from the chapel to the hall. Esmeralda was my coordinator and she was amazing! Very sweet and helpful. She was on point with everything. I would definitely recommend this lovely place.

I cannot speak more highly of Esmie and Grand oaks events and venues and I wish I could give it 10/10 Stars. Our wedding was everything that we wanted it to be, everything we imagined, and more! Esmie was an incredible wedding coordinator and worked with us throughout the entire 10-month process. Esmie was incredible and worked above and beyond to bring my vision to life! Her suggestions, expertise and ability to move quick on her feet made our very cold Christmas wedding the best it could possibly be. I am beyond happy with our choice to do an all inclusive package as it made an incredibly stressful and busy season so much easier knowing I could trust Esmie with my vision and big day. The venue was perfect and beautiful and fit our very large Mexican Christmas fiesta. We would not have changed a single thing on our big day. Where do I begin? We booked this venue 6-8 months from our wedding date and Esmeralda Torres helped us so much from giving us a warm welcome during our tour to making our day so magical! Our wedding day was wonderful and Esmeralda went above and beyond to create our day to be as perfect as it can be. The venue have all-inclusive packages which makes wedding planning so much easier and hassle-free! Our guests loved the food that was prepared and the whole reception area/chapel. Our guests never knew of this little treasure in Spring TX and we just want to say thank you to everyone who made our day possible.

Where to even begin! We came upon this venue on accident as we actually had already booked somewhere else but it was so convenient as it was so close home and truly a hidden gem we got the all inclusive of package and it was well worth it since it was a lot of stress taken off of us. Esmeralda went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met for the day of and not only that but the vendors were great I did absolutely love and we could not stop getting compliments on the catering was the best wedding food everyone has ever had. On top of that our wedding day was a dream come true, thank you so much Esmeralda & yalls team.

Just attended a wedding this weekend at Grand Oaks Venue. Who knew there was a beautiful treasure hidden back there?! Ideal set up with indoor and outdoor spaces. It was nice to sit inside but also have the opportunity to step outside and enjoy the beautiful evening outside. The venue has picturesque grounds, ideal for lasting memories in pictures. Everything appeared to run smoothly so hats off to all involved, especially Esmeralda who worked tirelessly all night.

Hidden Gem! We used Grand Oaks as our wedding venue last December (2021) and we loved it. Nancy was our coordinator and she was very sweet, helpful, and made sure we were taken care of! The venue itself was not only affordable for our budget, but it was beautiful, quaint, and had everything we needed/wished for. We are very happy to have used Grand Oaks and Nancy!

*** A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH *** My daughter had an outdoor wedding in October. The place was (is) gorgeous, and incredibly photogenic! It was everything my daughter imagined her wedding would be. And, as her father, I could not have been more amazed at how well the venue was able to make my my daughters dream wedding a reality. And now, I must give credit where credit is due. The staff was amazing. The tall, angry looking dude didnt say much, but was eager to help and was always happy to do so. Nancy was always smiling even when it was obvious her day didnt quite go so smoothly. A couple of the staff gladly helped with last minute make-up and hair even though they didnt have to (and they did an AMAZING job with the mother of the bride and her family). And the others working behind the scenes made sure the venue was immaculate for my daughters special day. But this is one staff member that my family and I are extremely grateful for ... Esme. Esme was the one I met when I first visited the venue. I expected the pushy salesperson type I had encountered when visiting other venues, but Esme didnt come across that way. She asked me about my daughter and actually listened. She truly wanted to get an understanding of my daughters personality in order to better understand how she (Esme) could better guide me in the right direction. When she finally met my daughter, it was as if they were instantly on the same page. Esme could already see what my daughter had envisioned and guided her in the right direction; offering suggestions, gently nudging in order to keep things moving forward (but not being pushy or overbearing). By the time the wedding day arrived, Esme felt as much a part of my family as anyone. And she treated my daughters wedding preparations, it seemed, as if they were for her own daughter. I am personally grateful for the patience and understanding Esme had for me and my family. And I am confident that should you choose Grand Oaks as your wedding venue (and you should) Esme and the rest of the incredible staff will ensure a most memorable day. Grand Oaks is a must visit. It is tucked away at the end of a small winding road and opens up to a beautiful piece of property. Thank you, Grand Oaks, for the joy you helped bring to my daughter. And thank you, Esme ...

This place and the staff are Amazing! Had our wedding ceremony and reception here. They can provide anything and everything youd need for an event. Food, cake, decorations, servers, etc. We decided to go with our own options and they were very accommodating. Esmeralda helped us plan throughout the whole thing and was very helpful. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for pictures. Having our wedding here was the best choice we made.

The entire experience from start to end was beyond my expectations!! Had my wedding reception here after our off location church ceremony. Nancy and Esmeralda were soo helpful and very attentive to all my needs even those details I had no clue were so important. My guests were blown away by the beautiful lights driving up to venue at night and called it very enchanting . The staff from bartender to crew overseeing the parking were soo fun to work with. My husband and I are already thinking of reasons to host another party here!! Thank you to the entire amazing staff we genuinely appreciate everything you ve done for us.

Even though I didnt go with them, Mrs. Nancy there made me feel like I didnt have anything to worry about. You hear of all-inclusive venues, but this is the first one that really was all-inclusive! Flowers, cake, decor, catering, planning, LITERALLY ALL-INCLUSIVE!

We can not say enough about this venue! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. With only a little more than a month s notice Grand Oaks showed us patients and dedication to our every need. They worked really hard to give us the best wedding possible in such a short time. We would especially like to thank Nancy for all her dedication and support. Everything was a success from the beautifully maintained venue to our awesome D.J. Paul. The delicious BBQ our guests could not get enough of. Our beautiful cake witch there was not a crumb left. We had such a great time along with our family and friends! I got married here on December 20th, 2020. It was the wedding that my husband and I dreamed of having! From the beginning, Nancy was always so helpful and communicative about everything. She made sure that my husband and I were always having fun during the meetings and the wedding! The updated bridal suite is beautiful and amazing for photos and the groomsmen suite is perfect for the guys to hang out in. The DJ was phenomenal! No, but really, he rocked it with his variety of songs after me telling him bands that my family and my guests would like. The food was very yummy as well! I got many compliments on the lemon pepper chicken after the wedding day. Lastly, Kyle and I couldn t have asked for a more beautiful day filled with love and laughter. We ve been reliving it through our pictures and only have happy memories. Thank you Nancy for making this happen!

We had our wedding here on Sept. 12 (with COVID-19 precautions) and I cannot say enough great things about the location, location, location!!! It was all so lovely, the day was perfect! Nancy, our wedding coordinator was the BOMB!!!! She helped me ALL along the way and was the sweetiest individual ever. She kept us on schedule the day of and always made sure that my husband and I were happy on how things were coming along. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great outdoor wedding. WE LOVE SHADY OAKS! We had our wedding on Feb 23, 2019. Lynne, our wedding coordinator was fantastic. She was with us every step of the way, and made the planning so easy for us. The grounds are beautiful with a choice of a white chapel or an outdoor open air, but covered cathedral (this is what we chose). They have a variety of inclusive packages for different budgets. The decorations were beautiful and perfect. The food was delicious. I could keep going on and on.

Our daughter married our dear son in law this past Friday. I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue! Lynne was a God send from the very beginning! She kept calm and collected throughout the entire process and never got frustrated with us even after we asked the same questions over again. The food was excellent, the cakes were amazing and Lynne has a designers eye and pulled our daughters vision of their perfect wedding together. I couldn t be happier!

Loved Shady Oaks and Nancy was amazing to work with! She took care of everything from the beginning stages of planning the big day to the last person leaving that night. We had a bridesmaid emergency with our bouquets and Nancy was there on the spot to save the day! Every vendor that worked with Shady Oaks was very professional. We actual use the cake vendor for our kids birthdays now! Cant wait to use this venue again in the future.

Shady Oaks is a beautiful setting and the chapel and reception area were perfect. I could not have asked for a more professional and sweet wedding planner! Nancy made everything so easy! Horrible, When me and my Fiance and mother were looking for a venue we came here. Outside is beautiful but inside is very outdated and smells old. We then sat down to talk to the lady and everything seemed ok. Price was right all seemed okay we were willing to deal with the outdated for what seemed to be good service. So last question can we use our own cake baker. Straight up said no must use there baker. I said well sorry but my aunt is a baker and she is going to bake our wedding cake as a gift. She then said well she will need to make a sample cake so I can taste and see if it is nice. I said she lives in New York and is flying in from the wedding. She then said well she cant come earlier enough!!! I said you know what thank you very much but this is not the place for us!!!!!! She had some nerve!!! Then a few days later she tried to call us saying OOo I talked to someone and you can use your own cake. I put her straight to voicemail I was not dealing with her. Outrageous !!! They need to understand this is the bride and grooms day not theres. They also seem way to involved they should just be a venue not all up in the details. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Townhall Texas is around the same price all included in Conroe, TX and beautiful venue great customer service !!!!!!

I couldnt wait to write this review...I had the BEST experience at Shady Oaks. We are so grateful to have found such an amazing place to get married! Lynne was our coordinator and made our experience absolutely unforgettable! Nancy was just as amazing! Lynne recommended Javier to DJ and he was the perfect fit and did an amazing job! The food was great, we decided on the BBQ option and it was a hit! The cake was beautiful and looked exactly like the picture I sent! Shady Oaks was the perfect venue for our daughters wedding, and Lynne, our coordinator from Contemporary Party Connections (CPC), made it all happen in less than six weeks. We had just started planning an April 2016 wedding when we had need to move up the wedding date to early November 2015. We had already contacted a dozen venues, including Shady Oaks, and were thrilled/relieved that they had a date that would work for us. Lynne had affordable packages that combined exactly what we needed (for us, ceremony and reception with cake, punch and light appetizers), DJ, cake, and referred us to great vendors for the few things she didnt handle directly. We loved that Shady Oaks had a place for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies. Our daughter chose the outdoor covered Cathedral and even in light rain, it was just right. The reception hall was beautifully decorated (Lynne has loads of options to choose from). The DJ, Paul, helped our daughter and son in law pick great music for their country/rustic wedding ceremony and kept the guests dancing during the reception. Lynne walked us through all the steps we needed to take/decisions that needed to be made. There were no surprises - nothing forgotten; no unexpected expenses. The wedding and reception flowed smoothly and weve received so many comments from family and other guests on what a lovely event it was. I had read the good reviews before contacting Shady Oaks and they were right on target. Our daughter said it was outstanding. From her, that is high praise indeed!

Lynn was terrible. I was so excited to get married here because when my brother was married there it was beautiful and rhe loved Nancy. We were stuck wirh lynn. She was rude and in helpful. We had issues with both of their cake people and had to make our own. She continued to tell myself and my wedding party we could not do things the way we wanted. They made it sound like they would provide decore however we liked but when it came to planning Supplies was limited and we still had to buy stuff of our own to make things complete. She was not there to let us in the bridal room. She disappeared and did not unlock thw church until 15 minutes before the wedding. She forgot to tell my dad to come get me from thw brides room when the wedding started. She was rude to my family and guests. Everyone on my wedding party along with videographer and photographer all asked what her issue was and why she was so rude. She told multiple people I was being difficult and it was our fault. This woman should be fired. I will be complaining to who ever will listen.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Shady Oaks! Our wedding package included the wedding cake, onsite catering, DJ, decorated reception hall, and wedding coordinator. Nancy was our coordinator and she did a fabulous job! She was extremely professional, flexible, and easy to work with. For any items not included within the package, she was able to provide excellent recommendations such as our minister, Rev. Law, whom everyone loved. She genuinely cared about us and did everything she could to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. Our first dance was a choreographed Viennese Waltz, and Nancy was more than happy to let us come in during off hours to practice in the reception hall. She was always willing to stay late so that we could meet in the evenings after work. On the day of the wedding, she is with you from the moment you arrive until the last guest has left to ensure that your wedding goes according to plan and that you have a stress free day. Shady Oaks was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. Our guests loved the quaint white chapel and the beautifully decorated reception hall that was just a short walk away. We didn t have any issues with parking, as there was ample space provided for all of our guests. The food and catering service were excellent, and our guests really enjoyed the wonderful cake provided by Lindy s! Our DJ, Paul, was fantastic, entertaining the crowd and keeping the party moving. We wanted an extra special touch, so Nancy recommended a horse and carriage entrance, which chauffeured the bride and her father from the bridal room to the chapel for a grand entrance. If you re looking for a budget friendly wedding, you should definitely check out Shady Oaks. The prices are excellent for anyone looking to keep their costs down while still experiencing a fantastic wedding!
