I had high expectations about this place after all the amazing reviews. The service was incredible and the place is super cute. But honestly, the taste of the broth of the ramen it was not great. I m not sure if it was the one I chose, but I ve tried better ones.

Ordered delivery. Ordered cowboy roll..it was smothered in burnt onions and some beans and tasted...like the inside of a metal can. I took a bite and couldnt eat I ordered with it miso soup and they sent me pork miso instead. Another fail. The wontons and sashimi pieces were fine. But that roll ruined it appetite. Never ordering from here again

We ordered calamari to start, and then beef ramen, the black angel roll, rainbow roll, and the cowboy roll. They were all fantastic, I highly recommend the black angel roll, it was a very unique roll and absolutely delicious. Sorry for the poor photo quality, was in a hurry to eat

The service was good and the food was average. The ramen wasnt particularly tasteful but the spider roll was good. The teriyaki chicken was a little overcooked, so it was dry. Vegetarian options: There are a couple of vegetarian options.

The things that I have tried there were satisfying. I enjoy the small plates there. The pork dumplings are very good. And the spicy edamame is unique, and tasty. The ramen is good enough, and the sushi is okay. Overall the environment is nice, and the food is -- not bad, not over the moon mind blowing, but nice casual and good enough for a laid back day of Japanish food.

I ordered to go: Beef Dan, Chicken Ramen and the golden ramen. The Beef Don is more like onion and rice don- very little protein. Chicken Ramen was good, but the chicken was described as mid. The Golden was great! Slight spice to the broth, perfect amount of beef and shrimp. I ll be back to give them another shot. Especially since the interior atmosphere was fun and inviting. Bunch of different Sake too.

The service here was outstanding!! As was the food! The only reason for a 4 star review is the rolls were pretty small. For $16 I d want a full size roll and these felt like they were thinner rolls than traditional rolls. Aside that it was fantastic and I would recommend.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and WOW! We were 4 adults and a baby. We ordered an array of sushi rolls from an huge sushi menu. Ordered miso soup, dumplings, fried rice.....excellent food and excellent service. Well eagerly return to the beautiful interior, quiet dining and fabulous meal.

It s our weekly take out sushi. We love the freshness, attention and everything is above and beyond. Servers are always attentive and responsive. We went for dine in sometimes but not as frequent as we wish due to our little kids.

My mother and I are the only two people in our family who are big on sushi. Unfortunately, our previously preferred sushi place did not survive the pandemic. And she has moved , so we have been looking in a different area to find some place that suits us both. Originally, we were looking at a popular chain, but Fujiya popped up on my search, so we figured wed check it out. Extremely charming interior! We very much had fun looking at the parasols on the ceiling. We both wanted a little something to drink. My hot sake was tasty, but mom had a little bit of trouble with the house cab. Staff quickly fixed the situation, however. Annoyingly enough, I have a sesame allergy. This is difficult for many sushi restaurants, but I truly do enjoy sushi, so I still try. They were incredibly gracious about it and willing to work with me. Our waitress was attentive and kind. We started off with some spicy edamame and spring rolls, delicious. And then we moved on to sushi. My mother had the Spiderman roll, and I tried the black angel and the kiss of fire. Spectacular. My mother ended up stealing a third of my black angel roll. Highly recommend that one! We are definitely going back! Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating to several unusual allergies.

I ordered take out from Fujiya based on the Google and Yelp reviews. Big mistake. The food was inedible and the chicken fried rice was prepared with spoiled ingredients. The chicken katsu and the broccoli tempura were extremely overcooked and tasted burnt. The gyoza tasted like they were made days ahead of time and then reheated. Everything tasted worse than bad grocery store sushi. I strongly recommend everyone avoid this place and I think that they need to be investigated for their food safety practices.

Most disappointing ramen ever. I ordered the curry miso ramen. The broth was kind of watery. The flavor was also overpowering with onion and ginger. The chicken was kind of dry like it was just reheated. Not fresh tasting. Even the seasoned egg was not good. It was straight up cold. This meal was not worth $20. I should have went to Jinya instead.

What an amazing local find! Weve tried all of the other sushi and ramen spots within a 20 mile radius of spring. Absolutely worth coming to try. Really good sushi place. As others have mentioned, the fish is really fresh. I ordered a soup, and they were able to make it with veggie broth for me which was really nice. The inside is really nicely decorated and has a cool vibe. I will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: You can ask them to use veggie broth for the soups or ramens!

First time here, wanted to try something new in the Spring/Kuykendahl Area Came in during a very busy night. Service was excellent even though they were short staffed and running around. They were very courteous and apologetic about the wait, doing their best to get us our food as soon as possible. our server also gave us a card for $10 off our next meal. Its a nice hole in the wall with booths and a sushi bar. The food was decent, though a bit on the pricier side for this side of town: - Curry Spicy Miso Ramen (4/5) - thin noodles were a little bland, but the curry soup was well seasoned, not too spicy, and the fried katsu was served on the side to keep it crispy - Veggie Ramen (3/5) - soup was too salty, we had to ask for a cup of hot water to dilute it for my mom, but our server was nice and helped us with some chili paste to try to help after the soup became too bland - Garlic Black Bean Ramen (4/5) - beware, very pungent garlic taste, so only get it if this is to your liking. the add-ons were nice, but the noodles were a bit overcooked and lacked flavor - Tonkotsu Ramen (4/5) - nice fatty chashu, but same issue with the noodles being overcooked and lacking in flavor despite having the tonkotsu broth - Shaggy Dog (5/5) - nice size rolls with a lot of tempera flakes for a good crunch Vegetarian options: very limited options for vegetarians

Overall: This place took over formerly Ichigo, excellent ramen! A solid go to spot with great options. Price: pretty standard pricing, a bit more on the reasonable side. Food: I have been here three times now and tried three different ramens, I love them all! The gyoza here is cooked PERFECT! Nice soft top, with crunchy bottoms! Ramen specific: I ve had (in order from favorite to least) the spicy miso, curry chicken ramen, and the tonkotsu. Miso ramen is slowly becoming my favorite, and the spicy miso here has a nice slightly above average kick to it! Nicely marinaded egg, and the chashu is on point. Service: Extremely friendly staff, very quick with orders! Atmosphere/cleanliness: It s not a cool ramen shop without some lighting effects! It is a newer shop so it s still very clean, very nice looking setup. I love coming here.

My family & I have been on the hunt for the best sushi/ramen place in the area & think weve found our overall winner in Fujiya! The environment was clean with a cute, oriental chic ambience. Service was excellent, especially given only 1 waitress (Joy) on the floor serving us & 4-5 other tables; we never had to request water refills, & any empty plates were swiftly bussed. Memory of a champ for our expansive order: we ordered the Takoyaki, Ninja Jalapeño Peppers, Cream Cheese Puffs, Spicy Curry Spicy Miso ramen, Cowboy roll (best Ive had) & the Black Angel Roll (my new favorite sushi choice). Wait time for service & food was near nothing: 5min max for fresh food out. Anything breaded and/or deep-fried was the perfect amount of crisp for us: not too thick nor flaky. Crab rangoon/cream cheese puffs shell to filling ratio was about even. Teen son (who is a ramen connoisseur at this point) claims of all the ramen places weve been to, this is his favorite (we ordered the curry miso ramen). Presentation: phenomenal (see pics). Value cant be beat. Well definitely be back & check out a special & something new!

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place and could not be more happy. The service was beyond outstanding, made us feel welcomed and talking us threw the menu and the establishment. As a chef my self, I can truly say this is the freshest, and most elevated sushi/ ramen place I ve been to in years.
