Hands down the best experience I have had at a steakhouse. And Im from Chicago. The service here is unlike any other restaurant I have been to in my life. The staff is falling over each other to ensure you have the best possible experience. The recommendations from our server were excellent. I highly suggest you go here when in the DFW area. You will not be disappointed!!

The staff make you feel right at home, greeting every guest with genuine enthusiasm. The menu features a variety of expertly cooked dishes, each seasoned and grilled to perfection. I ordered the Scottish Salmon which was very juicy and flavorful, paired beautifully with their sides of vegetables and sweet potato fries. The classy Texas ambiance adds to the experience, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. In addition to the delicious food, the attentive service enhances the overall dining experience. It s clear that the owner takes pride in both the menu and the customer experience. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommended! P.S. I would like to give a specific shout out to our wonderful server, Redon for making me and my wifes anniversary night dinner such a wonderful experience. I would also like to recognize the owner of the restaurant for giving me and my wife a complimentary desert for our one year anniversary. I cant recommend Texas enough. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs into the restaurant making wheel chair accessibility a breeze!

Nothing really against the hostess the place was great and everything but I think getting your appetizer and your dinner within 2 minutes not even that its kind of messed up but other than that and then she kind of made it clear all for this large or the party we dont do Separate Checks were not all with the party. Parking: If youre not there on time parking wise it can be a little difficult you have to go park couple parkings down and walk up there is a lot of parking but it gets old really fast

Hubby and I were in town and since this restaurant has such a great rating, we thought we would try it. It definitely lives up to the ratings! The service is amazing! Our server Isabelle was flawless and the manager Tom was personable and inviting. The food was fabulous. Hubby had the cheeseburger. He said it was fantastic! The sauce was awesome and he absolutely loved the pickles! I had the filet minion. It had a fantastic flavor and I savored every bite because it was melt-in-your-mouth! The pic of the filet shows that I cut into it. When I was served the meat, they asked me to cut it to verify that it was cooked to my desired taste. What a class act. If you are in town, I would highly recommend you visit this restaurant! It will not disappoint! Thank you Texas for this wonderful experience!

We had our date night here last night and it was top of the line! The Scottish salmon was probably the best salmon I ve ever eaten. My husband loved his steak, he didn t need any sauce to put on it which means it s pretty darn good. I tried the sweet potato bacon jalapeño bisque and it was wonderful. For desert we had the apple pie and everything was top notch.

I come to Richardson regularly for work and have never had a bad experience here. I usually sit down at the bar cause I am by myself. Country music playing, staff, and decor create a Texas atmosphere that is top notch. The manager is super welcoming and always on the move and smiling. Bar tenders are attentive and sweet. Kalissa is the only name I remember.

Beautiful restaurant. I wasnt sure how a Texas steakhouse would be with its namesake right in the title, but it delivered. Yes, the food, the wine, hit the spot. But my absolute favorite and friends, the following is true service was when my cousin, who doesnt drink alcohol, ordered a Dr Pepper with his fancy steak, and they presented a plastic bottle of the soda to the table like a fine, bottle of wine, and poured over a glass of ice! It was our anniversary and I wanted to go somewhere different than usual. This was definitely a great choice! I have never seen a more friendly and professional staff. You set the bar for what great service is, thats for sure! And it didnt hurt that the food was beyond amazing. I havent had a steak that good in years! Thank you for making our special day even better. I asked if it was possible for someone to refer to my wife as Anthonys hot honey and you didnt disappoint! The service was great. Food subpar. We were sat upstairs and the AC was not working. I was in a thin silk dress, I m anemic and was sweating so much. We all had to use our menus as fans. Why would you sit people upstairs if the AC wasn t working there. We could feel a light breeze on our feet from downstairs. I would say Texas RoadHouse meats and sides are 100% better. We had the veggie mix and corn and it tasted like freezer burn. For the price you would think it would be fresh like Al Biernat s. Came for my nieces birthday won t be back. Came, saw, and I m good.

I can t say enough good things about our evening here. The service was on point. Not a single drink went below half a glass before someone was on it with a refill. We had the Texas Ribs and they were very good and filling. The burnt corn was a nice add on too. The service was super friendly and so many people came to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. Our waitress was super fun and by the end of the meal it felt like we were old friends. This is the best dining experience I ve had in a long time by far.

Delmonico steak was wonderful, and fairly priced for 15oz ($68ish). LOVED the live music (roaming saxophone and guitar players) as well as the national anthem at 7p sharp - I think the ambiance is really what sets this restaurant apart. I decided to take myself out for steak and ended up at Texas. Liked the cute themed uniform details of the staff. Service was superb. I was greeted by a hansome redhead. I never got his name, but he did let me know hed fetch my drink, and my waiter would be there shortly. I wanted to give him kudos as he checked on me all through my dining experience, which I appreciated as I was solo, so nice to know they care about a table of one just as much as a large dining party. My waiter was nice, too, but the redhead had that southern hospitality touch. Manager, make sure you give that man a raise. DRINKS: Southern Punch was decent, nothing to write home about, but Skys Hibiscus Mule is a must drink. I wish I could take one to go! APP/SALAD: The fried quail legs have been the best fried poultry product Ive had in my life. They came with a dipping sauce, which was nice to dab in, but the legs did not need it. Im telling you now get the quail legs! Also had the West Texas Salad, and although it did not look dressed, it was delicious. A nice tough is the waiter added fresh black pepper to the top. DINNER: -2oz Prime Bone-In Ribeye. Im a bone in steak girl, so I was a little disappointed when the only bone in option was the 23oz Prime Bone in Ribeye. It comes with 4 sides and is designed for a couple. Alas, I was solo and tempted to offer the waiter a seat and to dine with me as I knew I could not eat it all. Its set at market price and was $99. I got it medium rare & it came cooked right and seasoned correctly. -Sides. I will say the limited variety of vegetables was shocking. Wheres the roasted burssels, sautee spinach??? Anyway, I did have roasted vegetables. I DO NOT recommend it. It was composed of undercooked butternut squash chunks, overcooked zucchini squash, and perfectly cooked bell pepper chunks. A melody of veggies that need to be cooked seperate. The second side was the burnt corn, which was good. The third side was the tatertots, which were loaded rectangle cut potato chunks (cheese, bacon, and chives). I wasnt really a fan of them. I should have got mash potato. The last side was the sweet potato fries, which were crispy and the best of the side. DESSERT: I barely had room, but upon the recommendation, I got the slice of apple pie. The scoop of ice cream was really creamy and dusted with cinnamon. The pie was good, but not as good as my grandmas crust. Overall, this is a long one, but I treated myself & it was about $180, so I wanted to give my point of view.

I had the best time and perfectly cooked steak at Texas. My filet was on point medium, and the atmosphere was amazing! We were serenaded by a live saxophonist named Rodney who slayed so many classic 70s soul hits I could hardly contain myself. Huge fan. As a Chicago househead with a deep appreciation for a soulful live horn, I was beyond thrilled by Rodneys skill, artistry, and spirit. 10 of 10 would recommend.

Their food was good! The service was impeccable. Best restaurant experience Ive had in a long time. I had the Scottish salmon, loaded potatoes, and green beans. The green beans were seasoned so well. My family went June 12, 2024 for my mother and father in laws 89 and 92nd birthday celebration. From making the reservation to the dessert platter to the magician who came to our table, the entire evening was superb. This place deserves 10 stars! As soon as you walk in the doors you are treated like royalty! Everyone was above and beyond attentive, the quality of food deserves a Michelin star and the service was impeccable. They really made our birthday celebration for my 92 year old grandfather and 89 year old grandmother a night we will remember forever. We already have plans to visit again next year. Kid-friendliness: They didnt really have a kid menu but as we first sat down they asked about our 5 year old and they sent a special order of frys and chicken tenders back to the kitchen and had his food out to us before we ordered our meals.

We were there on 5/31 and I can say that everything was excellent, our waiter was very attentive, he suggested an appetizer and a dish for my husband and I... excellent choice, the music was wonderful (taking into account that I love jazz)... The captain checked our table a couple of times, the musician came to our table and it was delicious to listen to the good music we devoured the food, it was incredible the waiter did not miss the opportunity to offer dessert, but you no longer had space, the dinner was very generous so we didnt have space finally the check arrived and honestly very good prices compared to service . Everything was perfect, we came with our 3-year-old daughter and everyone made her feel comfortable... finally when we were leaving, they started playing the national anthem and wow, everyone stood up and sang it with tremendous respect... it was very emotional moment... we were the only Hispanics and the treatment was incredible... I cant wait to try more

As a resident of the Mid-Atlantic, I may not be qualified to adequately critique Texas cuisines like Tex-Mex or BBQ-- but we are more than qualified when it comes to seafood! With that in mind, I started with the Crab meat Firecrackers-- think jalapeño poppers with crab meat, rolled in fried Tempura batter, served over a drizzle of Sriracha-- from the Texas Tea Time (aka Happy Hour) Menu, which was a delicious blend of savoury, sweet, & spicy! For an entrée, I chose the Broiled Texas Redfish with roasted seasonal vegetables (yellow squash, zucchini, & roasted bell peppers) and green beans with bacon. I am pleased to report that everything was prepared perfectly! The vegetables were pleasantly-firm without tasting raw, and the fish itself was nicely-seasoned and moist without being watery. The ladies behind the bar who served me were competent, attentive, professional, and took pride & care in their appearance. This establishment strikes me as being run well and I look forward to trying one of their steaks the next time I travel to the Richardson\Plano area!

Came here to get takeout and want to say thanks for the bartender with the bow tie. He is a great asset to this restaurant as he was extremely professional and very friendly. My son took us out to Texas For my MOTHERS DAY present. Dang it was so good. Salad , Steak cooked and seasoned so good. When Shelby (owners daughter) stopped by. She asked why we were there? Me and my wife have been looking at trying this place for years and never have. This was a huge mistake on our ends because OMG this place is awesome. We made a reservation for our anniversary because we wanted to make sure we didnt have a huge wait time being Friday night. And the staff here were super attentive. They knew it was our anniversary and made sure to personalize the experience. The food was absolutely great and the experience was just as good. If you want to have one of the best experiences at a restaurant, I definitely recommend you guys coming here. Its totally worth it

We made reservations so that we wouldnt have to wait. When we got to the restaurant.....we had over a 20-minute wait. We were told that the people sitting at the table we were assigned were taking their time to leave. We patiently waited. Every update was the same....the customers are taking their time to leave. Firstly, as someone who has worked customer service for over 25 years, telling us that the others wouldnt leave was unacceptable. We were then offered a table near the fireplace... Did we get seated there? No! They tried cramming us in a small booth that we tried but declined because we didnt fit. We finally got seated and were given a bottle of wine....great for wine drinkers, but we are not. We also got a cheese and fruit platter, which we enjoyed are are grateful for. The proper way to have handled this situation was to approach the table and politely explain that the next party was waiting. These customers had already been serviced and didnt need anything further. As a New Yorker, I have never experienced such service. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes with reservations. The food was good, but the service was lacking.

Where to start. Called before arriving and exceptional customer service and manners something that just isn t emphasized nowadays. Arrived and it was calm and it appeared to be over staffed, and within minutes the wave of enthusiasts rushed in and I could see why it was staffed the way it was. Food - I ordered the flash fried Texas redfish w/sweet potato fries and Texas tators. Now this dish did not disappoint, there were plenty of other dishes to try but it was all steaks. Was the quality just as good regarding other meals; the answer YES. Bartender - Jake, the above services is matched with the equal quality in drink service and quality. (FYI I sat at the bar) so I can t speak for the quality of the servers. Recommendation try something different on the menu, I don t believe you will be disappointed.

So we got so excited that we forgot to take pictures but it was a stellar night. Taylor, the Ray of sunshine that took such wonderful care of us tonight was an absolte doll. She was so delightful with recommendations and options and she even brought us some fresh made bread with some special jam that was out of this world. They found out we were there for my birthday and Shelby came out with a lovely lemon strawberry cake and blowtorched a sparkler for us. We ordered the beeftips with the whipped potatoes that were to tender that were utterly slap your anyone delicious and the juicy tasty cheeseburger with fries are not to be slept on. The service, the food, the atmosphere were all the best treat and we will definitely be back again. Go see Taylor and let Shelby sing to you, its all well worth it.

We hosted my moms wedding reception here in one of their private rooms. The food was exquisite! Even after a mix up on the steaks and how they were cooked we were still pleased with how everything turned out. We ll be returning in the near future! Kid-friendliness: I forgot a sippy cup and my toddler was served her drink in a regular glass which spilled multiple times unfortunately.

First time there. Last time there. It was not crowded, but we were all packed and crammed next to other parties. Each of us could easily elbow a neighboring party, and waiters would slide between everyone, including the main aisle. The food was not appetizing at all. 0 stars. The Bang Bang Shrimp was okay. The West Texas salad was unappealing and unappetizing. The wedge salad looked amazing. The baby back ribs were dry, unsavory, and had a gross sauce. These were the worst baby back ribs I ever had. I sent them back. The baked beans were okay. The coleslaw was a very dry, unsweet type. I ordered a porkchop as a replacement, and it was a small chop (like half Perrys lunch special). It was grilled fine and tasted okay, but it was on the rare side, which I thought was odd for a restaurant, but I was okay with it. It was also smothered in a sweet sauce, which kind of ruined the whole thing. The roasted vegetables were not appetizing. They didnt have any char or seasoning. The asparagus was just plain asparagus with butter, and it was okay. The strawberry lemon cake was more like strawberry whipped cream icing with a thin layer of lemon icing in the middle with a white cake. It was not tasty and was a small portion. The service was friendly but not on par with a restaurant of their supposed caliber. They were also very grabby and intrusive. The table was small, so we had to constantly manipulate everything. I rate this place well below Texas Roadhouse and slightly above Chilis, but it is overpriced considering the crammed environment and poor food quality. Parking: There are very few parking spots near the restaurant. There are plenty of parking spots behind the restaurant, but not necessarily close. There is no valet parking.

Highest level of Texas Steak in a traditional full bar service with black tie services. Most friendly waitresses and bartenders! Must try the Delmonico steak! Every time we are in town, we will reserve an evening at Texas! Even though the price is not the cheapest, but the experience is definitely the highest! The food was excellent, the service was very good and the staff and management were very friendly. The only downside is that it was quite noisy when we went there on a Friday night, but that may be inevitable given the very open layout of the building. I highly recommend this place! Hosted a Surprise Birthday Party this past weekend here and it couldnt have been more PERFECT!!! It was actually my first time here, but others helping me plan had suggested it and been previously. Ive been to just about every steakhouse in Dallas and this is definitely one of the best. We had a private room with about 20 people and it was a blast. The food was delicious, the staff was so kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Not to mention - great place to have a group of people together for any event!! The food was just ok, I would have loved more flavor and seasoning. Also, normally bang bang shrimp have some spice and theirs did not but the service was AMAZING!!! The staff was so attentive and they even had a magician come to our table to do tricks which was really good. We always had someone from the staff asking if we needed anything and the chocolate chip were good. The drinks were good too. My husband and I stopped here after having a rough day and left with smiles on our faces.

Upscale fine dining with a casual vibe. Absolutely loved everything about this place. The service is so fast. Our waitress came right over as we were still getting seated. She was wonderful, recommended some delicious appetizers. Bang bang shrimp and the food calamari was a 10/10. And they arrived about 5 mins after putting in the order. We put in our entrees and they came out within a reasonable time. The waitress indly plated my area and even folded the napkin over my lap before the entree came out. I had the filet mignon, corn, and mashed potatoes. Everything came out perfect. Oh and then to top it off the experience, we had to get something for dessert. The waitress cleared our table and came out with a display of several different desserts. We ended up getting the apple pie with ice cream. Couldn t be any happier. It was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Everything is top tier. Food was cooked to perfection and they even had a card trick magician going around the tables for the kids. Do note that the live musician will play the national anthem about 7pm so be prepared to pause right in the middle of your dinner and stand while your dinner gets cold. Food

Everything about this restaurant is excellent! The owner, management and staff are very professional and friendly! Our family had a birthday gathering in October 2023, and they brought us a whole, beautiful cake on the house, just because our dinner order wasn t timed exactly right. It was more important to them to get it right than it actually mattered to any of us. It was a lovely meal and service, and my family thoroughly enjoyed every delicious morsel! This place will always hold significant memories for me, because it would turn out that it was the last place I hugged and kissed my son before he passed away weeks later. Amy is one of the most amazing servers I have ever had. The whole staff is attentive to your needs. The customer experience and service here is superior to any restaurant I ve been to in a long time. Every staff member walking by your table it consistently checking on you. The food was superb. Steaks were thick, had an amazing char, and cooked text book. Sides were all fresh and made in house. I enjoyed this place. Atmosphere is very nice. I love the decor. It s nice and spacious. Our servers were very attentive and gave lots of good recommendations. Food was great and cooked nicely. Get the dessert too. I had a whiskey pudding (can t quite remember the name) but the flavor was so good. We will return!
