This is my preferred park in the area. The playgrounds have these spinning cup seats that are, besides swings, my hands-down all-time favorite go-to pieces of playground equipment. Theres a few really nice walking trails, a skate area, and lots of Pokéstops!

First time visiting this park and it was so peaceful and quiet.. we love living in Houston but sometimes my husband & I need a break from the busy city. This park was definitely one to visit. We loved the shade and all the trees! We were able to bring our book and read peacefully without any distractions. We will be coming back. 10/10!!

I visited here with my sons school for a field trip. The park was clean and kid friendly. The park was also easily accessible and parking was adequate. Overall I would recommend. Playground: The playground is covered and partially fenced in. The ground is covered with astroturfing. The playset is updated, safe, and completely intact. There is even a volleyball net in the playground area. Picnic area: The picnic area is in the same covered area with the playground. There are two tables by each other conducive for a small picnic. There are also outlets available in the area, super plus!

There are concrete picnic tables in large grassy areas that you can hang out with fam/friends between games, too. The parking was especially cool, bc they have it designed so that traffic flows in one direction at all times. Very thought out...nice ballpark.

Collins Park is an excellent park for baseball and children. I walk my dog there about once a week. The kids park is almost always full of young kids. It also has a small skateboard park that appears to be quite popular. In addition, there is a walkway that connects Collins to the south side of Meyer Park, which allows you to take a longer walk or bike ride, which is also very popular! I always enjoy going there.
