I went here because Ive been craving these little cornichons and a particular cheese that I found at the downtown location. I was in the area and it seemed like a big Specs from the outside. When I went in, however, I realized they had less food and it was more pared down than what I had in my mind. They have lots of stuff (you could build a very nice charcuterie one stop) its just Im picky and I wanted specific brands. I noticed bunch of team members huddled, and while I wasnt trying to eavesdrop, I was hanging around close by looking for my cheese and pickles and it seems they are about to expand and do some kind of renovation. What I really liked despite not finding the food items was the large restaurant supply area, something I havent seen at a Specs before. It was fun cruising those aisles and oohing and aahing over commercial equipment. Lots of reasonably priced handy tools too with like a Ferrari of a food processor of blender hanging out I was greeted and asked for help by staff and they were all very friendly. Im now interested to see how the store looks the next time Im out that way.

This is probably the best, largest specs in this part of town. They do get a decent allocation of bourbon but there s a line of regulars out there every morning. They also have a solid selection of wine. My wife was able to find an orange wine to try

Never recovered. Staff always outside. Never working at least look like youre working. Never seen so many people not working! Why are staff sitting on boxes on the floor? Never going back! Nobody asked if I needed help to busy talking and standing around.

This is a great Specs! Customer service is amazing. There are plenty of deli meats, cheeses, and the like for a nice charcuterie board, as well as the board to put it on. Dont forget to check out all of the party favors, games, glassware, and giftable items in the Barware section. Need restaurant-quality cookware? They have that too! I could easily spend an hour in that section alone. I also love that I can get a custom gift basket for birthdays, anniversaries, or for clients. The Beer, Wine, and Liquor selection is immense! The knowledge of the associates is impressive, and the Holidays at Specs are unmatched! Take a little extra time and peruse the store. Youll be glad you did!

I went in to buy two cases of tequila for my father as I was headed out of town to visit him. I asked for some suggestions and told them he was looking for blue agave tequilas. Two employees spoke with me and gave me very helpful recommendations. At checkout I realized I didnt have my credit card with me. Several of the employees and the cashier were extremely patient and helpful. They helped me set up my phone pay so so I didnt have to drive back home 40 minutes one- way to get my credit card. I wish I got their names. Highly recommend this location!

A highly recommended location to shop at! Large inventory and yet its not crowded by supplies. Bar and food supplies. Friendly and knowledgeable associates. Good atmosphere. Great curb appeal considering there is a HEB nearby and its rite next to the frontage road of I-45 north.
