This was my first time at Hartz on 2920. When I pull up there the outside was soooooooo clean and appealing. I went though the drive though the person took my order was very nice. The Manager that gave me my food was very nice as well. I will be back there again thanks for GREATTTTTT SERVE.

11:45 and doors are locked. Doors show they open at 10:30. Employees are inside and would not say anything and act like everyone who came to door is not there. If they are having problems they should put a sign on the door instead of just ignoring customers

We started going to this location because they have much better pricing. This location will let you get honey mustard sauce with your tenders. The other Spring location actually charges you to get sauce for your tenders. Go figure. Anyway. The older gentleman at the register is really nice. Our food is always cooked fresh and is hot. Not to mention that even though they went up on their prices, they still have some of the best deals going.

Omg this is by far the best Hartz Ive been to! The chicken was so fresh and crispy and juicy. I dont even like chicken breasts, most times at other places they are dry and overcooked. But at this Hartz, the chicken breast was so juicy! 10 s! My husband says he will never go to any other Hartz again!

All you can eat buffet with decent food but lousy service. Four times in the last 2 months Ive gone there only to find the place temporarily closed because of the lack of staffing. They dont answer their phone when called which would let potential customers know they werent open for business. They have a serious management and staffing problem which Im sure is costing them customers and money. I cannot recommend this facility until they make the necessary improvements.

I ve been coming to the Hartz Chicken @ 5037A FM 2920 Rd, Spring TX 77388 for 25 years. Today I walked in and there was water from the west door to the serving line and some under the serving line. Over by the drink area they put 2 wet floor caution signs. A lady came in after me and told the staff something to the effect that there is water all over the floor and she almost fell. I ate lunch/buffet so was there at least 30 minutes. At no time did the staff make any attempts to mop up the water. I believe it was leaking from the ceiling and/or AC because the water on the floor was in a line. Very dangerous, and I m very disappointed that they didn t seem to care if their customers fell.

Chicken was old, greasier than normal, and my family received food poisoning from it. We all were up to about 6am pooping and throwing up. I contacted DoorDash regarding the issue. They are investigating however, this is just nasty. Please be ware, if it doesn t look right in the inside, don t take the chance in eating not even one piece. You will get food poisoning.

Ive been to this location twice and both times their fryer was being worked on so I have it another chance today and went through the drive through, well their speaker is broken and the sign says to pull forward so I do, well guess what no one is working the window. Really horrible tasting Mac n cheese. Tasted sour at the end. The green beans were spoiled in my opinion and the greens and black eyed peas were not seasoned. Chicken and fish were good. Mash and gravies were ok. Restaurant was clean and newer. Over all bad food.

I wish I could give this location zero stars but since I can t. When someone walks in with a dog in their arms with no vest or leash, your job is to ask them to take the dog back outside. Pets should not be around the buffet. Glad i was leaving. I will NOT visit this location again.

Awesome service my familys been coming to this hartz for a while now and they always treat us right. Food wise issa buffet my brother complains because the chicken is average at best but the mashed potatoes and gravy, tenders, hot wings and of course our favorite fish and tartar sauce are consistently above average and warm all in all great family joint but im not sure if ide come alone.

The Chicken Livers are excellent - especially the way ms gamboolgal does it. Do recommend the Livers. Cant say about the rest - as all we have tried is the Livers. We got a dozen of them to go and they cookem fresh while we waited. ms gamboolgal then fried up her home cooked Yard Bird, mashed potatoes, gravy, Purple Hull Peas, Collard Greens, Pepper Sauce, Corn on the Cob, fresh sliced tomatoes, raw onions, Serrano Peppers. All washed down by fresh brewed tea. Followed by a good long nap in the Lazy Boy... Life is goot !

Chicken is usually good (rare occasion of bad cooking) and the sides are all on par with the other chicken places at a much better price. The rolls are great. I cant comment on the inside buffet. Problem with this location is that they always have a line. Not because its so popular but because it takes 20+ minutes for 3 cars to go through the drivethru. Super slow service. This is everytime I come without exception. If it was quicker, it would easily be a. 5 star review.

Most of the time is fresh food, really depends the time you go. But the mac & cheese is always bad. The manager is really friendly and always gives us a warm welcome. But the employees seem to care too much about how much fried okra they give out. Not worth the price increase in the past few months. They give you a single order, doesnt matter if youre alone or with 15 family members. Worst yet it used to be a generous small order now it seems like they count how much pieces they give which is about 18 pieces.

The only complaint I have is that the fried chicken gizzards and hearts are not tender enough to eat and enjoy. Aside from that it has a wonderful buffet for $10.99 and that includes free refill drinks. Everything is rotated out to keep it fresh. I love the selection of cooked and fresh veggies.

Do you prefer your fried chicken UNSEASONED? Well you ve come to the right place. Scroll through the reviews and you ll notice the type of clientele that visit this chain. Obviously the people that come here have never had Popeyes, churches, etc. Yes, the chicken is fresh and cooked to order. But it has 0 seasoning. Raisin Canes doesn t season their chicken but their amazing dipping sauce makes up for it. I m so confused how they get away with flavorless chicken with repeat customers. Blows my mind!
