Im a regular here - I usually eat here once a week. The staff is always welcoming and cheerful. They know what I usually order and have my drink to me within a minute of me being seated. The food is always fresh and well prepared. Best BBQ place I know of, and I check out other BBQ restaurants when I go out of town. Still my fave!

We are so pleased and grateful that Pit Master BBQ came to the rescue and last minute catered our funeral reception, for 100 people! Due to the storm, our original venue didn t have power and we had to relocate. During the time of hardship, they pulled through and delivered the most perfect spread of delicious food! Everyone was raving about it. Thank you Pit Master!!!

Bbq was dry and old. I was disappointed for 40.00. I got a brisket plate and ribs. The ribs were ok, but the brisket was tough and looked old. I was pretty disappointed. The fried okra tasted ok.

Listen folks, if you re within 100 miles of this place, just make a day of it, and just go! The owners Tommie Battles and his wife Sue could not be any nicer of people. Our first time there, and it was as if we had been a life long customer! Great, great food. Mouth-watering and beyond tasty! The only thing missing in my photos is the wonderful aroma! After decades of living and working across America, I can say without hesitation, that this is now my favorite Bar-B-Que destination within the great USA!

My husband and I drove from Galveston to our favorite Bar-B-Que restaurant. Whether you live 90 minutes away or close by it is a spot you wont want to miss. The food is AMAZING! I dont know what kind of rub they use. I assume its a restaurant secret but its a delicious. Whether you choose ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, burger (or my favorite Sissy salad with barbecue chicken) you wont be disappointed. The decor leads you to feel like your eating in a place back in the wild wild West. The owners Sue and Tom are probably the two hardest working people Ive ever met. If its your first time there and Tom is working. Im sure he has a trick or two up his sleeve for you. Cant wait to come back!

I dont usually eat BBQ, when Im really craving it I need it to satisfy. Pit-Masted delivered tonight. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and had the just right spices to tickle the taste buds. The sausage was amazing. The brisket was the only complaint. It was good but it lacked the flavor and it was just a touch dry. I will say though it still satisfied. I always love a loaded baked potato. Their potato had plenty of toppings. The service was amazing. Quick, respectfully polite and the place was really clean. I will be back here for the next BBQ craving.

My all-time favorite place to bring anyone that visits from out of state (FL,, CA, NY, UT, GA, LA and many TX residents. Texans are proud of their BBQ and this IS the place to get the Best!! I have Never had a bad plate or meal here! Sweetest people that own it and great, kind workers. NY & UT customers asked what an okra was!! We ordered crispy and they fell in love with a new food item! All of above took one bite and said best food Ever for any meal on menu we ordered!! Slab of ribs falls off the bone so tenderly and that pulled pork sandwich is my biggest crave. Great place for catoring!! Used them many years for my company Christmas party. Atmosphere there is quaint, friendly and cozy with old western theme. Best bbq sauce too! Can t say enough how I love this place and have for decades!

We work all over the United States and Pit Master BBQ is by far the BEST! The Brisket and Pork melt in your mouth and the flavor is AMAZING! The atmosphere is old western and really cool, as well as the music. The server was delightful, and the owner Tommy was very personable, just dont ask to see his Chucacabbra lol. If your looking for an enjoyable night out with mouth watering food! This is it! In Addition, we came back again the next night, our last night in town, and chose this amazing BBQ restaurant again! This time adding the blackberry cobbler and banana pudding! Everything was delicious! 1/2 chicken BBQ and Pork and Sausage plate

The menu showed 9.99 for a 1/2 lb of meat. I got brisket. Besides it being *really* bad (dried out, overcooked, had to add sauce to choke it down) I then was charged 13.99 for it at the register. Other menus show 13.99/ 1/2 lb for brisket. Mine didnt. They have outdated menus! When I brought this up, it was basically shrugged off by the wait staff, was told I mistook it for the chicken price and she walked off. I even showed her a menu with this price discrepancy. They didnt care. She didnt care. Well, neither do I. So, enjoy the review.

Is not worth the money and service is horrible was only table for most of our time in this place yet took forever for refills. The wait staff doesn t want to listen properly to the guest example during my time there I ordered a diet drink but then told her that I wanted to change the drink to a different one and still brought me both and then gave me a attitude that well I brought you refills for both I had to charge you. But the best part is our waitress helped herself to a 18% tip for no reason when everyone knows that if a party of 6 you get a auto gratuity of 5-15% but this damn slow unhelpful and un hospitable waitress charged us more on that and tried to blame the computer system saying it does that on its own.

Ordered delivery of the brisket/rib/sausage plate and was sorely disappointed. The brisket was cut so thin with no seasoning, it was dry and hard to swallow. The sausage had less flavor than sausage I can buy at the grocery store and the most lasting experience of the ribs was unpleasantly stick in my teeth and didnt fall off the bone as good ribs usually do. Everything was super dry. Sadly disappointed.

Was looking for a good bbq place following a long and frustrating drive to/from League City on that miserable highway, I-45. Tried to get to a couple of restaurants in Houston; however the crowds and lack of parking dissuaded. Googled and found Pitmaster BBQ off Sawdust Rd, just west of I-45. The place is smack-dab in the middle of a large strip mall, just east of Budde Rd. Walked in around 7:15 PM, the restaurant closes at 8:00 PM; hardly anyone around at the time. We re greeted warmly by Cassidy at the front door - sat in the covered patio area, very pleasant on a typical Oct evening. Cassidy was extremely friendly and attentive - ordered the sausage/brisket/ribs combo platter for $22, together with Fried Okra and Baked Beans as sides. In addition, ordered Jalapeño poppers and Onion Rings as appetizers. Food arrived very quickly, and was it delicious! The meats were well-smoked and fall-off-bone tender, the spicy sausage was perfectly cooked. Sides were not at all greasy - very tasty. Texas toast accompanied the platter. Rounded off the fine meal with Blueberry Cobbler and Pecan Pie to go. Nice touch that the owner came and checked on us, in addition to Cassidy s excellent attention. The meal was plentiful and cost $69 for two, including 20% tip. Overall, very satisfying - recommend this hidden gem if you like a quiet, well-attended to experience.

Two stars is me being nice. I called an order in today. First off the service was good. That s the only reason why I m giving any stars at all. The pulled pork sandwich with the sauce tasted like an Arby s sandwich. Baked beans had no favor and the potatoe salad was disappointing to say the least. I barely made it home and it was coming out of both ends. I would highly not recommend this bland soulless bbq to anyone.

This was not that bad. I had the pit mater special which included ribs, sausage and brisket with 2 sides. The meat was not as tender as I would like and if not for the sauce would be a bit bland, however that potato salad was fire. I usually do not get potato salad but gave it a try and was not disappointed. Overall this is not a bad spot to eat if you want a quick BBQ fix.

Was very disappointed with our meal. Went on a Saturday night so certainly not what would have been considered a slow time. Ordered the three meat plate. The biggest issue was the meat was cold. Did not even have the slightest warmth to it. Which means that it was sitting somewhere and not even under a heat lamp. The ribs and the brisket were dried out. Sausage was decent. Green beans were overcooked and over salted. Doubt well go back.

A buddy and I split a ribs, sausage, and brisket plate today for lunch. We added 1/2 pound of pulled pork as well. The staff was very attentive and the owner, Mr. Battle came by to say Hello. The Q was well above average and reasonably priced.

Been here several times, and it is always excellent. I really enjoy their two flavors of barbecue sauce, Memphis molasses and their tangy sauce.

At this location they forgot half our order, when called the restaurant and spoke to the manger in charge/ GM he went a said that he couldn t find the order. When I was completely understand about the situation cause accidents happen I went ahead and told him my mom accidentally dropped her sandwich when getting to the house. His response to that was well that wasn t his problem and then hung up the phone on us. We then called the restaurant back and was very unprofessional and didn t give us our order that was missing this is very unprofessional and never doing business again. I do not recommend this place to anyone with the HORRIBLE customer service we received. I don t know if this is a franchise or corporate but this needs to be address right away with myself being a GM myself this is something uncalled for and this GM at pit masters needs to be addressed right away before this location gets shut down.

Bought half a pound of brisket at noon today. It was NOT half a pound of brisket. It was so dry. The meat was way to sweet. Left a after taste after eating it. I rather pay 4.00 more dollars extra and eat at Killens BBQ the best. What a wasted $14.00 oh no pickles are onions, no bbq sauce came with it Yuck

I dont know what to say but very disappointing. Bbq sliced brisket I ordered but actually ended up with a chop brisket no onions no pickles just bread. My peach cobbler was horrible it was stone cold and only 2 peaches. No to go silverware in the bag. What has happened to this place.

Sugar was the main taste of the BBQ. Did not order onion rings, they were fired in old grease. Waite staff did not speak English. $13.00 for chopped beef sandwich and onion rings. Tasted the meat, way too sweet for a Texan.

Went through the drive-through yesterday. I ordered a brisket sandwich with coleslaw. Well that s exactly what I got the brisket was very good however the sandwich was poorly made. It cost me $11 for the sandwich. I m not a cheapskate. I don t mind paying for a good sandwich. However the sandwich just came with brisket barbecue sauce and a bun for $11. No pickles no onions nothing. Needless to say the person at the drive-through was not the friendliest person.I think right now while restaurants are suffering things need to be top notch. I was very disappointed with the presentation of the sandwich. We are from Texas were barbecue is everything. I guess I must ve been expecting something much better.

Oh my gosh what can l say...the chicken is so tender and falls off the bone after putting a fork into it! The corn on the cob is fresh and buttery tasting and the Texas toast is toasted just right. There s draft and bottle beer selections too. You won t be disappointed with this bbq or the sauce!

Your typical bbq place run by a local family with great service. Not the best bbq Ive ever had but good enough to recommend for a place that allows dogs on patio.

I dont usually write these reviews but wow this was the best bbq Ive had in my 27 years in Texas, the brisket was fantastic with green beans to die for, I wish I couldve ordered a giant bowl of green beans they were so good. Wait staff was exceptional and the atmosphere was very homey. If your in the area and want BBQ, this place blows all those franchises out of the water. Real Texas BBQ!

I was so hungry and excited to try this place out today because of the amount of good reviews. Im new to the area and was really craving BBQ chicken. The chicken looks and tastes like it was cooked in the oven no smoke flavor at all. The beans and loaded baked potato were good.

I had just had dental work done so no ribs for me. Settled for pulled pork and smoked turkey. Meats were good but not remarkable. Pork was good, especially with their bbq sauce. Turkey was moist. Will try their ribs next time. Sides were standouts. Both the potato salad and baked beans very really good. Would go back just for those alone. Banana pudding was excellent as well. Guy that took my order over the phone and helped me when I arrived was very courteous.
