Tried the Omega Bowl, resembles that of homemade Shepherd pie. Onions rings and Pork chops were dipped in panko bread crumbs and fried. If youre a diabetic stay clear of the Carrot and chocolate cakes (though very delicious) theyre loaded with lots of sugar thatll spike your sugar readings! Hubby enjoyed a conversation with Jeremiah reminiscing East Houston, and surrounding neighborhoods along the East Tex freeway.

My husband and I arrived at 8:35 for some food. We were turned away by the host stating they were closed. There was a table still seated and a couple at the bar. My husband stated you close at 9 p.m. and it s only 8:35, the host then looked at his watch and came up with another excuse that they ran out of product/food. Then stated the kitchen was already closed. It was very clear that we weren t seated because the staff wanted to get out of there as soon as possible on a Friday. Running a business myself, you have to honor the hours of operations. You cannot deny business because you would like to get out as early as possible on a Friday night. Do better.

I ve been going to Omega for years. They used to have good food for good prices. But over that last few years their quality and portion size have gone way down and their price has steadily crept up. The last straw was when they forgot a portion of my order and when I called they were reluctant to apologize and offered a credit only after I asked. When I said that honestly I was disappointed in the quality of the rest of the meal, they made a lot of excuses but refused to acknowledge that their quality had quite obviously gone down. When I said I was probably not coming back, they hung up on me.

The servers were friendly and attentive. I order the chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes which was above average tasting. As we were finishing up, a woman thought it wouldnt be a problem to bring her medium sized DOG into the restaurant. I like dogs as much as anyone, but keep them outside of restaurants and retail stores unless it Petland!! I didnt like the nice doggy watching me eat!! Maybe Ill take my two and my goldfish next time.

Visited the Omega Grill over the weekend and it was a good experience! The service was amazing, as Troy was very kind, attentive and service oriented and he partnered with the bartender to make sure that all of the guests were happy. I ordered the Shrimp and Gouda grits which was extremely rich- maybe a bit too seasoned for me but I still cleaned my plate! The side portions were hearty and the French fries were perfectly crisp. Would definitely recommend for the overall experience.

I love this place. In Spring, TX it s hit or miss finding good service AND good food for a decent price. This place hits in all three categories! 1: Seems like staff work well together. Togo and dine in are both managed efficiently. 2. Although I don t see a common theme on the menu, I really love the chefs plating and culinary creativity! There is something for everyone, including for my babies, which I really appreciate. 3. The prices are extremely reasonable even for elevated dishes like their unique shrimp and grits or braised short ribs (both yummy!) I really love that I can take my family out to eat for a reasonable price (thank you for not screwing the community even with this awful economy!) I only removed 1 star for atmosphere because the vibe is not clear. I feel that the gourmet food could make this place a more elevated spot and the interior could reflect that. Maybe they re going for a family vibe idk! Lastly, I ve visited the sister location (the olive oil) and all I can say is omega grill is 100 X better. Not just the food, but also the service. I think a lot of other reviews sum it up very well.. It was just average. The Omega Bowl is just a glorified KFC Famous Bowl you paid triple the amount for, and in my opinion isnt as good as KFC either. For the amount of food you get, I would expect the prices to be closer to $10 a plate. Kids meals are $9 a piece which is high even in this economy. The Traditional Italian Beef was respectable and probably the best meal out of what we all ordered. We went on a Friday afternoon right at dinner time and we were only one of two other families in there, which was surprising given how busy Rayford Road is at that time of the day.

Some of the best comfort food in The Woodlands! I was in the area one day and wanted chicken and waffles. Yelp brought me to Omega Grill where I had a delicious meal of c&w with pecan waffles and spicy syrup. A week later I was back and wanted grilled cheese and tomato soup. Would you believe they had that, too?! It was the BEST grilled cheese made with bacon and avocado, and the soup was hearty and flavorful. This is now my go to for comfort food (even if I have to take 1/2 of it home!)

Came here with a few friends on a Monday afternoon. Everything about it was just alright. The ambiance is just a typical diner, nothing fancy or special about it. I got the Omega Club Sandwich with grilled chicken and it was good enough. Our waiter was super friendly but I think he forgot about us when it was time to bring the check, we waited a pretty long time before he came over again. Overall, Omega Grill is an alright place for typical diner food, but dont expect anything spectacular.

Didnt expect fantastic. We went to this location a long time ago when it was a burger joint. Decided to stop in today while running errands and was amazed. The pot pie was outstanding. The Gouda grits had such flavor. Service from Alexis made us feel like family returning home. Well be back. Definitely stop by. And tell your friends if your experience was as good as ours. While the food was great the hospitality was above and beyond. My server Maria was super sweet and attentive. Then I find out that not only is the lady that s bringing me drinks and baking pies hospitable but she is the owner. She is not only the owner but a woman of her word. She corrected an earlier inconvenience by comping our entire meal minus the drinks. She is a 5 star person / owner with an 5 star establishment. This place has a few reserved parking spots in the front. Me and my friend went at 4:30/4:45 pm today. We were asked to sit according to our voice since the place was almost empty. We ordered spinach artichoke dip which was delicious with soft pita bread. I was in mood for a small salad, there nicer salads don t come in small portions so I ordered Caesar salad with added grilled chicken and my friend ordered a burger. Food came pretty fast and appetizer portion was decent but good portions were big. My friends burger was good and fries were excellent. My salad was a big disappointment. It looked old when it was placed in front of me. When romaine starts to rot, the edges become pink I literally could see those. I thought okay maybe a few leaves are like that, nope the salad was extremely soggy and romaine was not going bad it was bad. Throw in the trash bad. The grilled chicken was extremely dry. There were no croutons and the cheese was no where to be seen. I have never ever had this bad Caesar salad. I obviously couldn t eat, the server came to check on us and I told him it was soggy and going bad. He offered to make another one but I declined. The salad was taken off the bill. I still gave this place a 4 star because the courtesy of serving staff was very nice. To the chef or whoever our server talked to I did not appreciate the look you gave us upon the returned food. You should be ashamed of yourself for sending that rotting romaine our way. Granted we did not order their specialities .. but I would still probably not seek out to visit again but won t be opposed if it was suggested as a meet up point by someone.

This place was really good at first! The burgers were great and the fried mushrooms were awesome! But now the quality is going down and I can see us choosing a new place next time, especially when we want burgers. The last few times we ordered their burger they ve messed it up and it hasn t been good. My dad ordered it these last few times with American cheese and was charged for an extra slice, and almost every time they ve put cheddar cheese and didn t even put extra on there! We gave them the benefit of the doubt and just dealt with it, but this last time he ordered it, the burger was again wrong and had cheddar cheese and was cold. We called and the lady who picked up said they asked the cook what they did and I kid you not they said that they put American cheese and put 3 slices on there. This was obviously wrong as it was clearly cheddar cheese and there was maybe 2 slices on there. So the cook was either lying or they seriously don t know the difference between American and cheddar cheese. I m going for the latter, because this isn t the first time this has happened. The fact that the cook potentially doesn t know the difference between the cheeses is alarming. The lady apologized but the fact that this has happened multiple times is getting ridiculous and this restaurant is starting to lose its luster. Again it was good at first and that s why I m giving it 3 stars and not 1 because there are still redeeming qualities to it.

Terrible service, told the waiter the burger needed to be dairy free/vegan and after they brought the incorrect item to the table we asked for it to be fixed and they scrapped the cheese off and didnt even refire the entree. Omega used to be my Fathers restaurant. I am ashamed to see how awful you treat my family trying to dine here. Never again will we eat at Omega. You literally could kill someone with this type of service. Its a shame how even email prior to coming got no responses. Do not go here if you want a good dining experience find a better restaurant to enjoy that you can trust. CJs and ZKs the original burger store there had better service. The hostess was so sweet and helpful. A true delight throughout our visit. The chicken orzo soup and fried mushroom were outstanding. The grilled chicken club, the chicken pot pie, and onion rings were very good. Took banana pudding home, and it was an absolute rich, creamy pudding with tons of natural banana flavor! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Chicken fried steak was bland and rather tough. Asked two different people for salt and pepper and never got it. Ordered the Valentines dinner which was supposed to come with a glass of champagne for my wife and I, was never offered. My wife paid for our meal and when she signed the receipt the waiter says owe she entered it wrong. It actually should of been $10 more. My wife is like I already paid. He said yeah that s fine. I can t see us coming back.

I m not someone to usually review. And feel 5 stars is perfection. Something everyone should strive for but isn t accomplished because who doesn t have room for improvement? A 4 star review being absolutely excellent still just not a perfect score. This all being said this place deserves every possible star. I have been 4 times and never been let down. The staff has been polite, courteous, timely and overall what every restaurant should strive for. The place is always in impeccable shape. Clean tables, clean floors, clean bathrooms. Not just clean but clearly maintained and constantly taken care of. The food, the food where to start. Fresh and delicious. Served as described, timely and well paced. Never dry, never came out wrong. Not a single complaint from myself or anyone else I see there. I have left Texas now and this is the only restaurant I will be sad to not go to again. Highly highly recommend if you happen across it.

Food was good, good atmosphere but I have never had someone run out to my car because I didn t leave a tip. Legit came running out to our car and wanting to know if their food and service was good. We explained to him it was and he goes well you didn t leave any money for a tip. I stopped by The Omega Grill for the first time yesterday, and Im upset I didnt visit sooner! Chloe (sp?) was friendly and greeted me when I walked thru the door. After I sat down, I ordered a cup of delicious chili. It tasted amazing and was the perfect appetizer on a cold day. For my main, I ordered the cheese burger. The bun was soft, the meat cooked to perfection, cheese was melted nicely, and it was surrounded by hot and fresh fries. All in all it was a welcome treat, and Ill be coming back soon! Good reviews and an interesting menu peeked our curiosity. We were a little concerned when we arrived at dinner time and only one other table was occupied. It didnt take long to dispell this. The server, Chandler, was an expert with the menu, and you were excited after hearing him discuss the great menu choices and the fact that everything is made from scratch and nothing is ever frozen. We started with the fried mushrooms. The portion size was large, and the mushrooms were absolutely perfect. Thin crispy breading and tender, juicy mushrooms. The flavor of the mushrooms was balanced right with the breading so that each was equally enjoyed. Diane had the Omega chicken. Chicken breast in a panko parmesan breading with a brown butter sauce, garlic, basil, shallots, capers, and tomatoes. She opted for the gouda grits instead of mashed potatoes and finished with grean beans. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. The breading and sauce were fantastic. The grits and grean bean just rounded out the meal in good fashion. I had the chicken fried chicken with creamy jalapeño gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, and Texas toast. I liked the fact that they brought the gravy out in a server. This keeps the breading crispy as long as possible. Once again, the chicken was perfect, and the breading was crispy. The gravy had a subtle jalapeño taste that was just right and a small hint of heat. The mashed potatoes were as great as everything else, and the Texas toast was the best Ive had in a long while. We ordered a piece of carrot cake to take with us to enjoy in the hotel. The cake was just as awesome as all the other food. Overall, this was one of the best meals Ive had in some time. There was not one item that was not done correctly. Highly recommended two thumbs-up

The food here is outstanding. The menu is very controlled and not overwhelming in choices which means everything on the menu is a specialty item. Be ready to eat if you order a burger. Their burger looks 6 inches tall when they bring them out. I went with soup and Omega grilled cheese. Not an ordinary grilled cheese. Peppered bacon, sliced avocado, cheddar cheese, provolone cheese, smoked gouda, toasted sourdough, and a cup of French onion soup. You need to pull up their menu. You get hungry just by looking through the menu.

This place used to have the best Jalapeño Poppers... the new menu doesnt have them anymore. The fork and knife was my favorite but the new menu has completely changed it. I ordered a hotdog and it literally came on a piece of toasted bread cut in half. If I wanted a sandwich I would have ordered one. The staff was more than accommodating and even offered various items. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is great but my preference or liking wasnt up to my expectations.

Just want to give this gem a shout out and let others in the area know about this place . Every time I come here everything is excellent. I have had the bison burger afew times , the steak house salad is super delicious with a perfect petite filet . Also the Greek salad with fish, chicken or shrimp is a favorite as well. Location is very clean ,even smells fresh when you walk in the door unlike most restaurants that smell like rat poison. Had lunch there today. The staff is friendly from the moment you walk in the door. Prices are very reasonable. I had a cup of the French onion soup and a burger. This was the best French onion I have had since I moved to Texas. The burger was juicy and delicious. We will definitely be coming here again.
