We had my brothers 50th bday celebration in the beautiful and spacious reception hall. It was so nice. The sleeping quarters for us out of towners was very efficient and such a cute concept. This whole property is spectacular! Definitely recommend

What a beautiful venue. Nestled is the scenic hill country in Spicewood TX. The Ranch was beyond our expectations with a spacious reception hall, bridal cottage and groom suite. The wedding site sits on a hill with a vast view of the Hill County. The large antique doors welcomes family and friends as the bridal party enters down the aisle surrounded by nature and loved ones. Andy is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and very easy to work with. He helped through out the planning process with the best in the business referrals and resources needed to make this the most beautiful and rememberable event we could have dreamt of for our daughter and her husband. My wife and I had the incredible opportunity to have our wedding ceremony and reception at 71 West Ranch Retreat in October 2023. The wedding ceremony site is atop a magnificent hill in the Texas Hill Country, all of our guests said this was the best ceremony site they have ever witnessed. The reception area was great as well, we served buffet style, with a 10 piece band, and 150 guests and had plenty of room to dance the night away. The bridal suite is a quaint cabin that my wife, her sisters, mother, and friends enjoyed thoroughly while getting ready, and the bridal photos situated in the cabin were a cherry on top. What made the wedding celebration so seamless is the property manager Andy, many of the guests commented how willing he was to lend a helping hand at any given moment. Andy responded quickly to any question or concern of ours while wedding planning as well. You will not regret holding an intimate wedding with friends, family, and loved ones at his venue!

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and Andy. For starters it is an absolutely gorgeous space. The reception hall and flex space are both modernized while the grooms suite has much more of a rustic feel to the outside of it and it just makes for such a unique venue. The ceremony spot was stunning especially with the weather we had. All of our vendors and guests fit comfortably and with the flex space we were able to spread a couple of vendors out like our photobooth, 2nd bar, and coffee cart. Andy is also the most accommodating and kind venue owner we could ve found. He worked with us every step of the way and gave us what felt like such a personalized experience which I know we would not have gotten at any other venue we looked at. If you re considering your wedding here, don t look any further because this is the spot.

As a vendor, working at 71 West Ranch is a phenomenal experience! Andy + family care so much and go above and beyond for their couples. It is a beautiful space with a lot of potential for a variety of wedding styles- and you cant beat the view. Love that they have onsite lodging as well, a great value!

The property was incredible. Andy was a great host, extremely attentive, and saved the day on multiple occasions. I would highly recommend anyone plan their wedding or any event at 71 west. Our party stayed the weekend and from the starry nights to beautiful hill country sunsets we enjoyed every minute.

The Ericksons have created one of the premiere venues in the state. From the views of the hill country to the Longhorns on site to the choices offered by the various buildings and outdoor spaces. Our son and his bride wed there this weekend and it was perfect in every way, Andy is attentive to his guest providing five star support, helping the wedding planners, helping the families, and displaying a positive and upbeat attitude no matter the circumstance. I urge anyone considering a family event, wedding, retreat, etc. to reach out to Andy and his dad, Great people, great location, great service!

Let me just start off by saying this was the ONLY venue we toured because we fell in love IMMEDIATELY. The venue is beautiful, romantic, clean, and the view is dreamy! Andy is an absolute gem! He was so easy to work with and made our day go so smooth. Andy and his dad helped us the day before when we came to drop off truck loads of decor. Andy was always so fast at responding and so helpful with recommendations. Andy was there the whole day of our wedding and helped make our day magical. I have been dreaming about my wedding day since I was a little girl and 71 West was everything I had ever imagined and SO much more. Thank you Andy for making our wedding planning process so easy and our wedding day so beautiful.

As an event vendor I see a lot of wedding venues. I delivered here for the first time today, and I was so impressed! The owners took a historical property and turned it into an absolutely fabulous venue that is also easily accessible and great for vendors as well as guests! Beautiful property created with a lot of love and attention to detail.

If you are looking for an intimate place to have any celebration, look no further! 71 West Ranch Retreat was an absolute dream place to have our wedding. We can say nothing but amazing things about Andy and his venue! We were on cloud nine the entire time. What a beautiful place to make a commitment to the man of my dreams! Andy was absolutely the best venue owner we have worked with. His willingness to make sure that everything was perfect was such a blessing and we will treasure the memories forever. I fell in love with this venue as soon as we pulled up! It s out in the hill country of Spicewood and owned by a fantastic family! They have an adorable cottage for the bridal party to get ready in, as well as another a large space for the grooms party to get ready in! They have a beautiful reception hall and a cool side space area that is covered for anything you want to turn it into! But my favorite part of this entire property is the ceremony site. They have a beautiful space for the ceremony up on a hill overlooking the hill country. Words don t even do it justice, so I ll make sure to post pictures. Andy, owner, was my main point of during the planning process and he was always so friendly and so helpful! And on the day of, he helped make sure everything went smoothly! He was so helpful at the end of the night. My family who helped load things up for me at the end of the night, went on and on about how friendly and flexible he was with everything. I could literally go on and on, but those were some of the most important things that stuck out to me!

Very nice historic home to stay in. The front part of the house is part of the original homestead. The additions were done exceptionally well and the house is very spacious. The best part is the front porch. Great to sit there in the morning, afternoon and evening to look across the Fall Creek valley and hills beyond. The wedding venue is very new and set up well for outdoor weddings. The ceremony site is a short drive up to the hilltop with an exceptional view to the south. A very special place!

My daughter got married at 71 West Ranch on March 6th. The entire experience from start to finish was very personal and professional. They deserve 10 stars in my opinion. The single most important thing in planning and executing a wedding is being able to adapt to changes at a moments notice. Andy and his team were extremely flexible through the entire process and handled any hiccup with ease and professionalism. Andy even jumped in the vehicle the bride came up in and moved it so it would not be in the shot when the doors opened for the bride to walk down. So much attention to detail!! 71 West Ranch is the new place to get married in the hill country.
