I cannot express enough how wonderful our experience with Yao was. Her studio was very clean and organized. She was very kind and patient with our newborn. You can tell Yao has many years of experience in working with babies. She was well prepared, having a several sets all set up ahead of time. She has a large selection of outfits, headbands, props, etc. We were so happy with the images that we opted to upgrade our package in the end. Can t wait to use her again for my little ones milestone photos!

As a first-time parent doing our first baby photo shoot, I wasnt entirely sure what to anticipate. We took our daughter for her first birthday. We scheduled the cake smash with July Angel photography. I would say by far this was the best experience weve had. The props were amazing. This photographer is so pro! I had a newborn shoot for my 4 week old newborn. I was worried that the baby wont stay asleep to get the shots that July wanted. We did baby s first Christmas pictures with Santa at Peppermint Studio. Yao is an amazing photographer and we all felt comfortable at her cozy and pretty studio from the very first moment we stepped in. The props were really great and the pictures turned out beautiful! In fact, our first thought was wow, these look like pictures out of a magazine ! Also, Yao is so calm and great with kids! I loved how detail oriented she was and I so appreciated the directions she gave to achieve the best angles possible! We had a wonderful experience taking our newborn photos with July Angel Photography! She did an excellent job of making sure to take our time and capture all of the photos we had requested in our initial pre-shoot survey. They also had fun toys and props to keep my 3.5 year old entertained during the multi-hour shoot. Our experience felt very personal and that we were treated with genuine care. While writing this, I have a big smile on my face! I just cant say enough how amazing Yao is. She did an excellent job on my baby girl 1-year birthday photo shoot! She is so talented and I just want her to be known! Booking Yao was able to accommodate our needs. Even when she is busy she is able to work around our baby s chaotic sleep schedule. Shooting experience We loved how she interacted with our baby. She started with a 15- 20 mins warm up with the baby to get our princess familiar with the studio and the photographer. For Mommy & Daddy, expect a little bit of a workout to make your baby smile/laugh and carry her back to her designated mark/photo backdrop. Our baby was scared of the flash, but Yao was able to complete the photoshoot without the flash and the picture came out perfectly. Studio and Equipment The studio is super clean. You will be amazed how many outfits they have. We shot in 3 outfits. My husband was a little concerned if the outfits were not being clean, but Yao dry cleans all her outfits after each use!

It is so surprising to find this studio just around the corner of Timarron. The location is unbeatable, which is only two minutes from our neighborhood. Every aspect of the studio, from the lighting to the props, was carefully crafted to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. Our wild little family was well taken care of by Zaozao. We wanted to do a 100-day shoot with her but was told that it s better to do a sitter session instead. We are glad we did that, she is professional, good at what she s doing. She especially knows how to deal with little babies. When we got there the studio was ready for us, the light in the studio is bright yet warm. We got many shots of the baby, and even some with the grandparents. Zaozao is just amazing, not only did she deliver flawless photos that captured all the different expressions of our baby, she is also an absolute pleasure to work with.
