I ve left several reviews and they ve all been deleted, along with most of the other negative reviews; but it s okay, I ll keep posting them because the public needs to know. This firm money whips you. They costed my (now) ex wife and myself OVER $500,000 for 16 months of representation (I have documentation)! That s $32,000/ month for what should have been a very basic custody evaluation. And last time I checked, Kelley Hollingsworth had committed assault against opposing counsel s client, and was arrested and charged with a with class A Misdemeanor which he negotiated down. He had 3 grievances filed with the Texas Bar, one of which was for falsified documents. There s plenty more nefarious law dealings I ve uncovered on him but this is the they type of lawyer the Beal Firm hired. I ll be back to repost once this gets deleted. But seriously consider your options before taking the plunge with the Beal Firm.

This is by far the worst law firm I had deal with. They do nothing but take your money. I had mediation and they withdrew for my case one day before because of money, over 10,000 dollars and nothing was done. I am filing a grievance with the bar. On both attorneys and the law firm itself. I want my money back. Please DO NOT trust them!!!

Absolutely not. 70k and absolutely no ROI. We hired an attorney we liked, he left on emergency family leave and subsequently were given a new attorney. We were given no say or opportunity, we were handed off. We have hired new representation that is capable of handling our case. Just no to this firm. Absolutely the worst possible firm I could ever imagine! No strategy, no help, sloppy work riddled with typos and errors. They even charged me to respond to emails where I had to point out their errors and then charged me to fix their mistakes. The icing on the cake was my attorney who I paid for eight months didnt even show up for a critical hearing and sent someone he said was up to speed. We of course lost and had worst possible outcome and they still charged me for this shoddy work. Avoid at all costs, cant think of a worse firm and group of attorneys!

At first they did a great job, and then they seemed to drop the ball several times. It was like they went on cruise control and stopped paying attention. Mistakes were made, several. I pointed out these mistakes and was assured no more would be made, which continued to occur. I spoke with Eric Beal myself addressing these issues, and was told they would look into it. He never followed up. I had an attorney asleep at the wheel. I expect for the amount I paid to deserve better than that. I went with another attorney.

For the negative reviews I saw on here I was diligent once hired Bc of someone s bad experience posted, but the reviews overall were high so I took a chance. I m glad I did! I understand the bad reviews not as a lack of these guys effort but really Bc of the entire law process. Attorney Mims superseded my expectations. My divorce was not going well with a prior law firm. She explained what further steps were needed to complete my divorce and worked with me on cost. I strongly believe you get what you pay for and she is well worth it! We were facing a contentious, complicated, military divorce. Andrew was so thorough, honest and ethical. Everyone in the firm, from the legal assistants etc, they were responsive, flexible and made themselves available. I want to emphasize, Andrew is honest, even if it s not the answer I wanted to hear - he was all about keeping us out of trouble. He was very quick correcting what we thought we could handle on our own (ie: how we filed, when we filed, and what we filed). He possesses the utmost integrity. Brian Ballew got schooled by an amateur lawyer, and charged me outrageous fees for things such as a 5 minute phone call, a line change in the drafted decree, or a three sentence email. He also discouraged me from going to court hearings, saying it would cost me more in his legal fees to fight for my fair share than to simply agree to all the terms of the opposition. Charged $900 just to drive to Dallas court. I would have been better off representing myself. Do not hire this firm based on their online ratings!

I wish I could give them zero stars. I was charged $375 for a consultation fee, and for a hour and half, I was judged and ridiculed. I am in the middle of a ugly separation and instead of helping me understand my rights, he neglected to be helpful in any mannor. Brian was horrible. He doesnt even know basic divorce provisions for things as simple as an IRS form 8332. He acted like my child was a math calculation. My child is not a number. Throughout the entire process I felt like I had the support of the entire team. On multiple occasions other members of the team would help with my case and answer questions, and not because I was being passed around but because the issue or question fit their particular expertise. It really felt like the team worked well together and all had my best interest in mind. Secondly and most importantly Cassidy did an outstanding. Saying that you are happy with the outcome of a divorce is a bit of a misnomer but given the circumstance I can honestly say Cassidy did a great job making sure I was happy with the outcome. As an attorney, I feel I m uniquely qualified to say who s good verses who just looks good. With attorneys perception rarely line up with reality. So, here s my take. More often than not, Eric is the smartest guy in the room. He s always the nicest guy in the room. There are many many lawyers in the family law field, and I would bet the farm that he is better than all of them. I am not aware of an attorney in any specialty (include yours truly) that can match his talent, empathy, compassion and common courtesy. Because your case will matter so much to you, you need someone you can trust, someone who you like and, of course, someone who s really good. His advice will be sound, sensible and pragmatic. I went to The Beal Firm in Southlake seeking a divorce. My first consultation $158 (or somewhere in that ballpark) Eric was an hour late. Then with his southern charm, he seems very smooth, and caring. The retainer fee for his services were $15,000.00. We did not speak much, in fact, I did not want to bother him, instead, I collected all the bank statement, police reports, doctors reports confirming physically abuse. Tarrant County Appraisal Records, copies of checks to my husband that never went into our personal account. I was living in out of town at the time, so I drove in to drop off all the reports to help them. I gave him all my bank records and all of my soon to be ex-banks records and different accounts at a couple of banks. We had our first court date and he wanted to see me the night before to go over everything. Again he was late and I had to wait on him. He asked me where I had come up with the amount of spousal support I was due. I said the bank statements. He then said we never received any bank statements. Its about 9 pm and we are expected in court at 8 am tomorrow morning. I told him you have all of the statements along with everything else. He sent his new assistant attorney to go look for them, which she found them in a box somewhere. Then the opposing counsel canceled the day before but Eric assured me this could be a trick and had Himself, a legal associate, with a court reporter at the court house at 8 am. Knowing the case had been rescheduled. Eric did this twice to me. I then got my first bill and THREE people in his office looked over my case, which meant I was billed for all three people to read the same thing. Once we finally go to court I had no money left for Eric to represent me so the new attorney did. I was shocked when we got in the courtroom, everything she said was objected and the judge agreed with the opposing counsel. Then we had to reset court because, enough time had not been requested to hear our case. Timeline: End of December-March going to court two times only to be sent home, and the third when we finally got in court it was a joke. I could not afford Eric at the time of trial because he blew through the $15,000.00 and I fired The law firm. I was given a little over 2,000. back and still married in the same spot. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!!! I have spoken with several attorneys who say he needs to be turned into the bar, what he did was unethical. I had been abused by my husband mentally and physically, then again by Eric. WOMEN BE WARE he is not what he seems to be! Run
