Worst service I have ever experienced. Coffee was cold and bitter , orders were brought out 1 at a time, causing the first order to get cold . Ahi tuna smelt bad. So many other issues with this meal. I do not recommend this restaurant!

My husband and I went to Sky Creek restaurant for brunch Saturday at 9:30. We ordered starters: 1 yogurt w/fresh fruit, homemade berry jam and granola and 1 blueberry pancakes w/lemon curd, homemade berry jam and fresh fruit. When our food was served, we pointed out to the server that my granola was missing. Our server left and when he came back 15 minutes later, he brought us the check (which we hadnt asked for yet), no new food and he hadnt discounted or comped anything on the check. That was downright rude. So we put the bill aside for the moment. Then we waited another unreasonable amount of time for my granola. He finally brought me a new yogurt but still no granola. Then we pointed out that my husbands pancakes were missing blueberries and homemade jam. So the server says something like, I dont know what these guys are doing. I will have to talk to them. But the yogurt is served in a clear glass; if the server had checked the glass before he walked away from the kitchen, he would have seen that the granola was still missing. So he leaves our table again. He brings me some granola. But he says nothing about my husbands pancakes so I ask him, Are you going to bring my husband new pancakes with blueberries and jam? He says yes and then leaves. I finally am able to tuck into my yogurt because who is going to devour yogurt and then eat granola all by itself afterward? He finally brings new pancakes and they look exactly like the other ones (plain pancakes w/syrup and thats it). So I point out to him that the blueberries are still missing. He says I have to lift up the pancakes because the blueberries are on the bottom so I do and there they are but the jam is still missing. So he brings me a tiny canister of jam and a Smuckers apple jelly packet. By that point, I sense that he is irritated. And he doesnt check up on us anymore after that. I will concede that once he brought me the granola and I mixed it in with the homemade jam, fresh fruit and yogurt, it was outstanding. I highly doubt that I will ever return to this restaurant.

I left the food unrated as my wife and I were unable to eat at this restaurant. This was because the staff was so rude that we were left standing for about 15 min unattended and when my wife went in to ask if someone will seat us or if we were expected to seat ourselves she was addressed rudely . When she approached a server named Maria and and asked about seating she was rudely told I don t know and the server walked away. At this point my wife was livid and I had determined that this establishment was undeserving of my hard earned capital. I will be cautioning my extended family and friends in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area to stay away from this restaurant as I refuse to pay for below sub par service.

We stayed in the Delta Hotel for a wedding and this was the restaurant attached to the side of the Sky Creek Bar. We only were able to eat for breakfast one day, but will say we were not disappointed. From the very attentive host Jesus, to the bold, flavorful coffee (really want to know what brand they brew), it was a pleasant and tasty breakfast. We chose the Southwestern Breakfast Tacos and the Omelette both were really good and the potatoes... dont forget those I promise. Glad Jesus asked but also I chose to have some flavor. Cholula Hot Sauce on my taters were nice! If we are in the NW Dallas area again, we will be staying at the Delta and will be having breaky here. So good.

A must try! It s hard to find this level of culinary experience in the area. Chef Jose Soto sources fresh and creates unique and flavorful dishes that with the service is a true experience. I highly recommend it. We did a tasting with paired wines and just sat there as one amazing dish was followed by another and perfectly paired with wines by F&B Director and Sommelier Enam.

Really pleasantly surprised with Sky Creek! It s inside the Delta Hotel, and is an excellent hotel restaurant! Our meal was incredible. Our server, Steven, took excellent care of us and made the meal even better. Had the Wagyu NY steak and it was a perfect introduction to Texas steak! Delicious! Very filling and excellent meal! Loved the atmosphere of tables that overlooked the kitchen. Excellent dining experience. Parking: Hotel parking

We had an office year-end dinner at the restaurant recently . We were a group of 11 people , and the manager offered us the private dinner function room . The latter has been perfect , as there were 3 young children in our group .( This room allowed them to move around a bit .) The food was very good .. everyone enjoyed their choice of meal . I enjoyed my Salmon a lot . The deserts were great ! We liked the flan in the Passion Fruit Sauce a lot also the Lava Cakes. Apart from the delicious food we have a great server called Jesus ! He was so funny , warm and attentive to our, as well as to the kids needs ! We will definitely recommend this restaurant and especially the private function room for your next party ! Kid-friendliness: We had 3 young kids in our party and it worked well .

We went over a year ago for our anniversary and had a pleasant experience, so after picking up our son from the airport, we took him here to treat him to that same kind of experience. Things have changed. The server was inexperienced, forgetting her order pad, rarely checking in, and kept reaching over us to pick up plates or drinks. At one point, after reaching over my husband, she dropped first his food-covered fork, then his knife into his lap. The salad appetizer came 45 minutes after the order; our entrees came over an hour later. I cannot believe the poor quality of the food. The short ribs were tough, the sauce on my husband s chicken was congealed and stuck to it, and my gnocchi was so over cooked and mushy, it barely held to the fork. Nothing tasted good. We paid the check and went through a fast food drive thru on the way home.

Called ahead, they said no reservations needed. Walked into a mostly empty restaurant on a Friday night. No hostess to greet, finally sat down by the bartender. Waited good 10 minutes, no waitress came up, although 2 waitresses walked by pretending not to see us. Thats fine. Went to Moxies instead. Always great, friendly people, with good food and drinks and much busier.

This restaurant is located in the Delta Hotel. You must route your GPS to the hotel and not the restaurant location. It was easy to spot and parking was great. This is a good place for a business meeting or business happy hour. The barbecue chicken was smoked chicken and juicy. The chicken dish could have used a little salt. The Texas steak and fries was ok. The steak was a little dry. The beets appetizer was tasty and the goat cheese exploded with flavor. The hotel s bathroom were clean. Good for business related events but not for dates. Black Approved

So, hotel check in was good. Umer was friendly and pleasant. Politely explained my gold status didnt qualify me for their concierge because there are apparently different policies for hotels. But the restaurant, Willie the hostess stated a 20 min wait due to 2 parties of about 14 people and all other tables were empty, but the bar tables were faster. Not sure how that works, should all be the same kitchen. I think maybe Willie assumed I wasnt restaurant material. Christine seemed capable and Sophia seemed nice but both slightly unatentive. Steak and Fries was good. Sides possibly better that the steak. Ordered med rare and there was no blood which should be med in my opinion, but had red suggesting not the best cut. The topping sauce was over pureed and more like baby food, but had a good flavor in less quantities than was smoothed on the meat. Hotel so far a 7 and restaurant a 3, dont forget I ate at the bar. Food gets a 6. Asparagus and potatoes out shined the steak.

It is not for money - it is for expectation! Is it legal to bring people with a menu and not delivering ? Lobster bisque soup was awful, ladies threw up in bathroom , my wife threw up all night and got food poisoning! Only dinner choice was surf and turf ! There was no lobster for say , some kind of battered fish meat! Crème Brûlée was so sour couldn t eat ! I already posted in southlake parents group and others commented with same experience!

I have to be honest, our Valentines dinner was ruined. The preset menu was mostly unavailable, they were out of everything I wanted and I had to have what was available. Our waygu tartar was like ground beef, I have had tartar at Michelin restaurants in the past, this was most definitely not even close. It lacked seasoning and was just not good. Our steaks were over cooked the first time they came out and we both had to send them back. They did come back cooked right and well seasoned. The dessert was very unusual with the bruele being very bitter and the cake so dense and cold in the center. Our meal was comped, however that really doest fix the fact that we were there to celebrate, we could have gone to several other restaurants and by this experience, we should have. Honest truth I ended the night vomiting. I cant say that I will ever go back, I would be imbarrased to take a client there and have it turn out like that again.

Finest dining for miles. Southlake has long been in need of an elevated dining spot where the food was more important than the pomp. The atmosphere is wonderful and the surroundings are elegant but the food is the star. Not your normal hotel restaurant by far, Enam and his team bring Southlake high-end personalized service with great plates. Inspired and created with Dean Fearing but allowed their own touch and flair, the menu is hearty and refined. No need to drive an hour to Dallas or Fort Worth when you have this in your backyard! I knew Enam from his excellent work at a previous restaurant at the Jewel Hotel in Dallas and his legendary skills as a host are better than ever. The wine pairing was perfect and the wait staff knowledgeable and prompt. The food was truly excellent in presentation and flavor. Absolutely the best restaurant addition to Southlake in a very long time and a welcome change from the corporate restaurants that Southlake has in fair abundance.
