My wife and I love this place! Great atmosphere, great drinks and great food. Last night was our first time back in a while and everything was fantastic except for the flights. The flights were barely a shots worth of drink in each glass. Not worth the money for the flights. The jalapeño martini was a tasty as I remember and the dolcetto and Margherita pizzas were delicious!

We just had to leave our celebratory lunch and pack up all our full food, had about 3 bites. The amount of flies and bees were absurd and when I asked for the fly fans- they re not charged when they just opened 20 min ago? We have been swatting at flies and bees since we sat down and servers did nothing to offer help. $95 for the most unenjoyable lunch, ruined a great day.

NO KIDS! This is a date night venue. So, expect to pay a bit more. They have a good selection of wines and small bite plates. Weve generally done a wine flight and charcuterie board with maybe a desert. It wont be cheap. But if youd like a nice relaxing night out to enjoy a beverage and conversation, this place definitely does the trick. NO KIDS!

We really enjoy the inside atmosphere albeit when it is not Trivia Night as this can get extremely loud. Seems more of an offering for a beer bar not a wine bar. Wine list is ok... caters solely to the college crowd. Could use some cellar selections for those that have a little dinero to spend and have a bit more wine knowledge. Please look into getting at least a handful of rotating higher tier niche bottles and we will be frequent fliers.

Great atmosphere for a chill evening with friends or by yourself. Service was amazing, very welcoming and checking on us appropriately. You don t have a lot of places like this in San Marcos. If you want a nice place for wine or cocktails, this is THE spot. It s a great location in town, great decor and although we didn t use the outside, it looks very pretty to be in the summer. They have heaters for the winter, but we were nice and cozy inside.

We arrived on the early side of a Sunday evening and the restaurant was near empty. Server/bartender was so friendly and attentive! Food & drinks- Id like to start by saying everything is well priced! Definitely easy to order a few things and share. The flights had great drinks choices. 10/10 recommended the pear & bacon pizza! That sounds a little different, but I love the sweeter/savory take on pizza. Currently trying to replicate at home. Lastly, the Affogato (dessert) is definitely worth ordering! It was my first time having one, and it certainly wont be my last! Parking- take advantage of the small lot round back!

Seriously a hidden gem in San Marcos, Tx. This place is amazing, the vibe is great, and staff is so friendly. We planned an intimate gender reveal/surprise date for my daughter and son-in-law at their fave restaurant/wine bar (Patio Dolcetto), and everyone was so great about coordinating with us and helping us pull it off. I came here to try some new wines with my grandma. We had a lovely time to come to find out I was charged twice! 103.29$ to close the tab then again 102.29$ with 1$ difference, called my bank they confirmed patio Dolcetto did charge me twice. I had to wait 3 days for it to just come back into my bank account. I just think that s a bizarre amount for a card fee. I definitely wouldn t use a card here again. an apology from the owner would be nice.

They wont strike up even a how was your day? type convo, even when there is only 2 people at the bar and they aren t busy. Thought I ordered a beer on draft for reverse happy hour(if it even exists anymore;considering it wasn t anywhere on the menu but was on the website)but it was instead a slightly chilled beer from a can poured into a glass. Paid $7 for my subpar beer and left. Better places in San Mar to spend my money.

We really liked this place, but unfortunately had a bad experience. We ordered a wine flight and then ordered one of the bottles to go home with. When we got home and took the bottle out to put in the fridge, we saw that it was Wycliff! A $5 bottle we were charged $28 for. We drove all the way back to return it and were told they were out of the normal bottle that comes with the wine flight, so they substituted that bottle instead. I wish we would have been informed at the time, before I wasted a 40 min round trip to return the bottle.

Patio Dolcetto is by far my favorite wine lounge in the area, including New Braunfels, Wimberley and Kyle/Buda and I am a frequent guest there. Usually I would give them 5 stars for their wine list alone. However, my last visit there raised only a couple of concerns. According to their FB page, music was scheduled to start at 7 PM and I had brought a friend who had never been before and we got there just after 7 PM and there was no band. According to the staff, the band is playing an hour later due to the heat, which I can completely understand. However, I received another notification yesterday about a band playing next week and again the time states 7 PM. Had I known that the band was playing later we would have come later instead of sitting in the heat for an hour waiting for them to play. I would recommend to PD that they check all of the FB event times and adjust them accordingly. The second thing that concerned me were the mosquitos. We were constantly getting bit in the last hour we were there. Serious treatment needs to be done to abate them for patrons. Lastly, I usually love the charcuterie platter. The usual peppered salami had been changed out for a summer sausage instead. Please bring back the peppered salami. The dinner sausage was just too fatty. Things we loved? The wine, the music, the hummus plate, the excellent customer service, the ambiance. Ill always be back, but would really like to see the above things addressed.

Charming but Casual. The place is cute with patio dining on the first and second floor. Theres no scenic view, though, as youre right off the street. They have cute patio furniture but the seats were really uncomfortable for me. The food is pretty good and I enjoyed my wine. The staff was so nice, but they were clearly understaffed (it took over 15 minutes to get menus). Im sure when they get more people, itll run a little faster. I felt really bad for the two girls who were managing the entire restaurant.

Very capable, knowledgeable. And friendly waitstaff. We put together a party of 10+ ladies and made a reservation. We spent a few hours enjoying great food, drink, and friendship. Wonderful outdoor setting for groups large and small. I will be returning often

Perfect place for a drink with friends or a date night - excellent wine selection and ambiance! I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because theres not much to eat there as a vegan. Otherwise, one of my favorite places to go out in town.

Went in with modern expectations and honestly it was way better than expected. My fiance and I got the Margherita Pizza and the Charcuterie board, along with the Red Velvet cocktail and the Raspberry Martini. Absolutely delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced! It was about $40 for the both of us and we were not disappointed. Will be returning again in the future. 10/10

This is our second time coming. Both times we had excellent service. Pizzas and meat/cheese boards were great. Loved the staff friendly and quick service. Are outside both times, very laid back Seattle vibes. Sangria flight was great too. Recommend coming for happy hour or Saturdays for live music.

Very good selection of wine and cider. Pizza crust, a prefab nan, was overcooked and lacked flavor and consistency, but toppings and sauce were tasty.
