Today at Ashton Depot, we indulged in a delightful food and appetizer tasting. The chef, employees, and the beautiful venue impressed us, but the worn-out chairs need attention, as they might not be suitable for a wedding venue. Review update after the wedding: Our main complaint was that the portion sizes served were noticeably smaller than what we experienced during the tasting. Even the risotto portions were far more sparse than what we had during the tasting .

Our experience at the Ashton Depot was outstanding! Cindy helped us prepare and made sure all details were correct leading up to the event. Marissa was fantastic the day of and day prior with the finishing touches. Cari was so friendly and made sure all of our guests had a wonderful experience. Chef Cesar did a great job with the menu, and our guests are still raving about the delicious food. From start to finish, the event was amazing thanks to the team at The Ashton Depot!

I wish I could award more than 5 Stars. I recently celebrated my 50th Birthday at The Ashton Depot. I am still in awe, reminiscing about my birthday party. It was beyond PERFECTION, thanks to Ms. Cindy and her Team. I met Ms. Cindy in the summer of 2022 while looking for a venue for my 2023 event. She made me feel at ease during that first meeting. She promised me OUTSTANDING service at the time. Honestly, she and her Team OUTDID themselves. I had 180 adult guests, and they could not and still cannot stop talking about the FIRST-CLASS service they experienced at the hands of Ms. Cindy and her Team. Between the Summer of 2022 and the Fall of 2023, Ms. Cindy was readily available, answering my questions and addressing all my concerns. They worked so well with the other vendors. Everything was executed on time and immaculately. The host and hostesses attended to our every need. To say my guests were IMPRESSED is an understatement. It was not only the service but the food as well. Everything on the menu was DELICIOUS. Chef Cesar did AWESOME. I am originally from West Africa. We are used to our food, and it is SPICY. Every guest cleaned their plates, with most regret not going for seconds. We have a particular dish, Jellof Rice. Chef Cesars was so delicious my guests were curious to know who cooked it. They were surprised when I told them Chef Cesar prepared everything on the menu. Thank you so much for making my 50th everything I imagined, then some. It is one thing to have a BEAUTIFUL venue, but having the level of service and the attention to detail The Ashton Depot offers is PRICELESS. I made the RIGHT choice. I went to my nieces wedding. Its a beautiful venue. An old trains station that has been renovated beautifully. The catering was excellent. One incredibly very classy thing they do is Synchronized Serving which means the servers bring all the plates at the same time and set them on the table at the exact same time. So no awkward situation where one person at a table doesnt have their food. Absolutely check this place out for your next event. See Cindy Vazques General Manager. Shes great.

We are so glad we chose The Ashton Depot for our wedding reception in October 2022 and would highly recommend to anyone! We worked mostly with Cindy in the months leading up to our wedding and she was so on top of it! She was always so responsive and helpful with the million questions we had. They really strive to make your event exactly how you want it and a wonderful experience. Truly everyone at The Ashton Depot was so incredible to work with. Raven was our butler on the day of and she was outstanding and so personable. Our parents even commented on how attentive she was throughout the evening. The food was incredible as well! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was, how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and everyone was in awe of the synchronized plating at dinner. Their communication with my vendors was so great that I didnt have to do a thing- I almost felt like I was forgetting something because they handled it all! We looked at multiple wedding venues before selecting The Ashton Depot and are so glad we did. They really know what they are doing and hire the best staff. Our wedding day and reception was more perfect than we could have imagined. Their whole team really exceeded our expectations. The entire thing went flawlessly, and if it didnt they took care of any issues without us even knowing:) We wouldnt have changed a thing and would 100% choose them all over again for our reception!

I cannot recommend this venue more for a wedding. They have preferred vendors but do not let that scare you. These people know what they are doing and I completely trusted their advice and recommendations. I did not hire a wedding planner and decided I would do it all myself. Im certain that this would not have been possible at another venue. Food and drinks were excellent. The venue is stunning (we had to make last minute changes due to weather and they took a very stressful and unfortunate situation and made it even more incredible). This entire staff is truly remarkable. Kristin, Ashlee and Marissa were so detailed, professional, timely, and efficient. This venue is worth every penny we paid. Our guests were absolutely blown away! It truly was the best wedding experience we could have asked for!

I give Ashton Depot the highest review! Cindy, Chef Cesar, and the entire team were wonderful to work with. The staff took care of everything from setting up to keeping us on our timeline, providing coordination of their rental items, and taking everything down at the end of the evening. My husband and I, along with our families, did not have to worry about anything; we were in good hands. The staff exceeded our expectations. Our butler and all the other servers were terrific and very attentive. The synchronized service for dinner was excellent! Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, along with the best food. It is so easy to write this review for Ashton Depot, just thinking back on all the details from our wedding reception just makes me smile! We re so grateful we were able to book the Ashton Depot for our wedding reception and that our date was available. We had our wedding reception at the Ashton Depot and it was one of the best decisions weve ever made! Every single employee there was fantastic -- all so friendly, kind, organized, and prompt. My husband s company had their Christmas party last evening at the Ashton Depot. I just wanted to tell someone how incredibly wonderful the staff and service was. Everyone was friendly, warm, welcoming and on top of any and every need we seemed to have. We had our wedding reception here, in the middle of a pandemic, and I couldnt have asked for a more amazing team! The Ashton Depot did everything they could to keep our guests safe and also made sure we had a memorable and stress-free day. The food was amazing and the venue itself was beautiful! I worked with Cindy, who was easy to communicate with and helped calm my nerves and worries during these uncertain times. She also was very flexible with our needs and requests, especially since we were planning our wedding during the pandemic. Robyn, our personal butler for the evening, was so sweet and always made sure I had something to eat and drink. She was awesome. Miguel was also amazing and was so helpful throughout the evening. Not only is The Ashton Depot an incredibly beautiful and historical building, the staff are beyond amazing and so lovely to work with! We had our wedding here and both Ashlee, the general manager and Miguel, the banquet manager were so sweet, very organized and extremely helpful during the planning process as well as the day of the wedding. They also have everything you need, including an amazing onsite executive chef, a butler for the day of (shout out to Michelle who is so fantastic!), tables, chairs, linens, and so much more. The Ashton Team made our daughters wedding reception so easy and delicious! Five Stars for the staff, food, drinks and attention to detail! We loved our tasting experience with Cindy, Chef Caesar and Miguel! That fabulous sampling session, with three kinds of margaritas, truly got us excited about the amazing food you could make happen at a remote venue with only a warming kitchen! You guys rocked it! From the moment the girls bus arrive at 4:15, I could see that everything was well under control. All of the staff, especially Chef Caesar, Cindy and Miguel, could not have been more professional, efficient and kind. The food from the passed appetizers and cheese table to the street tacos at 11 pm was unique and deliciously spot on! Kudos to Chef Caesar for such a fabulous menu and presentation. We really appreciate that the staff made sure Mike and I sat down for a few minutes to eat as well! So thoughtful of your team. One of my friends who has very discerning taste said that this was the best food she had ever tasted at a wedding reception, high praise as both her daughters receptions were at the Fort Worth Club. Finally, our thanks to sweet Cindy for keeping us on track and always being there for us. We could tell how hard you were all trying to make this evening exceed our expectations, and it did! None of the valet knew how to drive my standard vehicle and the workers were full of bad atttiude when you asked them to do anything. The inside got so warm while we were all casually dancing and everyone was DRIPPING sweat as if we were outside in the summer. They bussed my table before I was finished eating, and got rid of my water glass instead of offering to refilling it... I looked down and I had NOTHING to drink. One specific instance, I ordered a cocktail from the bar and the lady went to the other side of the bar, made my drink, and then had a conversation with one of the other workers while holding my drink in her hand for about 3 minutes, then came and gave it to me in silence with no eye contact. This happened at least twice! I was astounded at the HORRIBLE SERVICE that this BEAUTIFUL venue provided.

The Ashton Depot is a beautifully restored train depot in the heart of Fort Worth that is an extraordinary venue for hosting an event. We had our wedding reception there last month, and we have nothing but good things to say about Ashlee, Chef Cesar, and their team! The people at the Ashton Depot are professionals that know their industry inside and out. Their remarkable customer service from the initial tour and planning to the final tasting and execution of the final event puts them above and beyond the other venues in the area. All their suggestions when we needed help or advice made the planning process go so smoothly and made our night truly special. Not to mention, the venue included all the little things you need to pull off a great event (tables, Chiavari chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware) in their packages without having to coordinate an endless list of vendors which saved us a lot of headache. Finally, you cant talk about Ashton Depot without mentioning the outstanding food. Chef Cesar takes such pride in his food, and it really comes through in the taste and presentation of his dishes. All our guests raved about how good the food was! Went here for a wedding reception. Its a very large and unique space and under different circumstances would have been a great venue for the event. The problem we experienced was that we arrived around 7:30pm on June 2nd...it is still VERY hot at that time in Texas. This facility is very large and everyone was hot and sweating. Not a pretty sight at a wedding reception. We were told by the manager that the air conditioners were supposed to be turned on at 8am that day, but they werent turned on until 3pm so there wasnt sufficient time given to cool down the building.

A beautiful, lovingly restored historical building and a superb staff and chef! They were so professional at coordinating the event, insisting I enjoy my daughter and her new husbands wedding (I was able to be the planner without working the day of). Everything went off without a hitch - our guests couldnt say enough about wonderful it was. From the first visit down to handing me the keys to my car after the couple departed, all loaded by them with what we brought, I cant say enough about this being a first class venue with first class service and five star food!

I had my wedding reception here almost a year ago and it was perfect. The space was gorgeous and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They provide the most delicious food youll ever have at a wedding and they make sure that every minute is planned so that you have very little to worry about on your big day. Lovely place to hold a wedding, venue was perfect. Parking free and adequate. Food was delicious, drinks were made well, not too strong. Servers were quick and very willing to answer concerns and questions. Excellent experience.

The food and atmosphere were great!! Unfortunately, the staff kept the guests waiting outside in the cold for a while because they didnt appear to be ready yet. The food was a little slow in coming out as well, but overall things went pretty well.

I recently co-chaired our school auction fundraiser at Ashton Depot for about 400 people. Aimee and the her crew at The Ashton Depot were amazing! They took care of every detail and our guests had a fabulous time thanks to the Ashton folks. The space at the Ashton Depot is beautiful - a historic train station that is kept in impeccable shape. From the gorgeous white marble floors to the flawless stained-glass windows, this place is kept in tip-top shape. And beyond the space, is the unbelievable food and service that they provide. The menu they created for our event was executed perfectly and our guests have given the food rave reviews. The whole experience was perfect. If I had to choose one word to describe our daughter and son-in-law s September 2012 wedding reception experience at the Ashton Depot in Fort Worth, it would simply be EXTRAORDINARY! Sitting on the eastern edge of downtown Fort Worth, this 112 year-old historic train depot has been restored and transformed into the most BEAUTIFUL and EXCEPTIONAL event space. General Manager, Aimee Hume, who coordinated our event, is truly second to none. She worked diligently with us throughout the proceeding year with upmost professionalism and efficiency. ALWAYS friendly, extremely organized and detail oriented, Aimee was never too busy to provide answers and feedback when called upon. She was also there the evening of the reception to make sure everything went according to plan. Event pricing is simplified with a Wedding Day Celebration Package; no nickel-diming for standard services; it was all included in a per-person cost. No hidden fees and very easy to calculate cost. The food WOW! Our guests absolutely RAVED about the exquisite buffet style dinner Executive Chef, Carl MacPherson, and his FANTASTIC staff created, saying it was by far the best they ve ever had at a wedding reception. Entrees were served fresh and hot chafing dishes are not used, so no soggy or overheated food. Portion sizes were perfect and beautifully presented. Passed hors doeuvres were delicately displayed on trays served by wait staff during the cocktail reception. An incredible amount of detail, care and time must go into preparing such exceptional cuisine. The Wait Staff. I just can t say enough about the Ashton s INCREDIBLE wait staff. Far exceeding our expectations, each and every guest was given incredible, attentive service throughout the entire evening. I don t think there was ever an empty glass; the service was exceptional. Not only was the Wait Staff the most on-the-ball, hard working staff we ve ever experienced, it was their attitude that was just so striking. You could tell they all truly enjoyed the work they did. This has been relayed to us time and time again from our guests. What an absolute treasure it truly speaks volumes in regards to the Ashton Depot s management and the incredible people they have working for them. With an endless day and evening of heavy rainfall, we are so VERY GRATEFUL complementary valet parking is included in the wedding package! Guests pulled right up to the door of the Ashton Depot where a very FRIENDLY valet staff took care of everything without incident. Guests arrived and left warm, dry and very happy! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at the Ashton Depot for providing such a memorable event for our family and guests. You are truly Fort Worth s little gem!

My daughter was married on June 30, 2012 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Having booked the church, we then began to search for a place to have the reception. The wedding weekend is such a special time in a girls life that we wanted this to be a very special venue. Needless to say, we found the PERFECT place when we visited The Ashton Depot and met Aimee Hume, CMP, General Manager - Ashton Depot Catering and Events. She was so delightful, intelligent and helpful. At that point, when we booked the Ashton Depot and began to work with Aimee, we knew, without a doubt, that we were in good hands. Our wedding reception at the Ashton Depot was, in fact, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. The service was impeccable!!!!!!!!!!!! Just when we thought that it could not get any better, the servers did something else outstanding and helpful. With the help of Tami Winn, of Tami Winn Events,wedding planner and florist, the decor was nothing short of fabulously done. From the perspective of the Mother of the Bride, working with these people made my wedding day experience so calm and peaceful. They had everything under control and I could simply sit back and enjoy the reception. What a great job the Ashton Depot did in giving us a wedding reception more wonderful than we could have imagined. So many of our guests said that it was the best wedding reception they had ever attended!! THANK YOU, ASHTON DEPOT, for all of your work in making the evening UNFORGETTABLE!!!! I would certainly use the Ashton Depot for any other event that I might be involved in planning.

The experience was AMAZING! I am the Special Events Coordinator for a medium sized nonprofit agency in Fort Worth and we held one of our largest awareness events at the Ashton Depot in June. Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the staff were amazing and more helpful than I could imagine. With large scale events, there are always things that come up that you need or that you didnt think of and the staff at the Ashton Depot were the answers to all my needs and questions! The catering menu was exactly what we were looking for in addition to its eloquent presentation. Planning was easy because of the consistent availablity of the manager and the day of was seamless.
