We stopped in on a Wednesday night, Thomas was amazing!! Cant give 5 stars because there was no pool table and thats specifically what we wanted to do, but they do have a large really nice outside patio area for smokers (none allowed inside). They have a small dance area which was okay since we were the only ones who danced, but Im sure with more people its pretty crowed lol Well come back either way, it was super chill

Heard about this place from the internet upon arriving the door man was very nice. The atmosphere was cool. Maybe a switch up of the music every now and then. It was only tejano music playing the whole time. Idk if it was tejano day or what. Ordered my drink and took a while to get it. Bartender was busy chatting it up with others. Salina was her name. The drink was horrible. The bar was great but I was very disappointed with my bartender salena. I m not one to review places but this was the worst service I ever got at a bar.

So fun!!! A local band was playing there when I visited the other night for the first time. I only had time for one cocktail, and I didnt want to leave, but I had to work very early the next day. Will definitely be going back!

I had a blast! DJ played awesome music! The Bears were all ice cold! Met some new friends! Everyone was so friendly! There were picnic tables outside whats the umbrella and it was really nice to hang out! Out side the bar$ I really enjoyed myself at evening!

San Marcos is often a stop and sleep when traveling to San Antonio for work. This is the first time we have ever noticed the 1X Tavern. We checked into our hotel and caught an Uber straightaway! What we found was a great little bar with delicious frozen margarita drinks, shots specials, and a fantastic bartender. Amber was super fun, and kept us well imbibed. The regulars were friendly and fun, and we had a super groovy time. We ll be back for sure!
