Who ever the manager that was working today was .. that man needs a raise .. was the best customer service I have received in years .. reminds me of a time when people actually cared about the customer experience .. I will definitely be returning 5 stars hands down ... He even remade my sons pizza with extra sauce the way my son likes it as he is so picky I have never seen him eat the pizza with such happiness this made my day God bless you guys and have a blessed day

I had an order with uber eats that after an hour got cancelled (due to a uber driver) on papa johns website I decided to wait until my partner got home to make food after this little did I know the manager of the store quickly re did an order and sent it out with a new driver to get my food even after I received the refund! Very happy customer here

I ordered my food at 10:46 it s 12:14 currently and I have no food in sight and the $16 from my bank account is gone. Idk who was working 3/19/24 around 11:25 and answered the phone when I called but I m surely gonna be giving a complaint and my money back as soon as they open tmr morning. Canceling my order okay fine. But no you kept my money and let my food sit waiting for a DoorDash just to then tell me yes, we just sent the delivery driver out okay so if ones there why let my food sit till last minute? Very unprofessional and misleading. I called and got automatically transferred to a Kyle location. I m very pissed off, I m hungry, and In my eyes they stole MY money. I never received my food and they took my money. THAT IS STEALING.

I called in a delivery order Friday morning and was told that I should be able to get it by 6:45pm that same evening. Wrong. I was out doing laundry and since I didnt have time to do dinner myself, I thought I would get a small pizza and eat it while doing laundry. Great idea, totally not do-able. First off, trying to talk to human beings at Papa Johns is pretty much next to impossible on the phone. They have that terrible commercial that plays when the employees dont want to answer the phone. The pizza that I wanted was actually two dollars cheaper by phone than online. The person that I spoke with assured me that I could have it delivered at the required time. I asked if they had their own delivery people and she said yes. 6:45 came and went, no call, no nothing from Papa Johns. I had to call and found out that they were behind, and they would call me. Right. 7:45 came and went and as I was getting ready to leave to come home, I get a call from a Missouri number. Figured it was a scam call, so I ignored it. Then a few minutes later the same number calls again with a text this time. Turns out it is a door dash driver for Papa Johns wanting to know where I was. I told her that I was where I was supposed to be, and asked her where was she? Two minutes away she said. It seems that she had been by the laundry mat and didnt know who she was supposed to deliver to. She could have texted me the first time and avoided confusion. Now, its after 8:00pm. I got my order and she got no tip. The pizza was cold, looked like it had been in the fridge for a while. The quality was edible, but I dont think that I will do business with this company again. Very disappointed.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & FOOD POISONING Absolutely worst pizza place I ve ever been to! We order delivery at 4pm, it was Taking an unreasonable amount of time. Nobody answers the phone. So I get up and go down to the store to see what is going on with my order. I get there and it s only 1 kid doing everything. Which I understand, and I felt bad for him but he was actually very rude and neglected all the customers in there. I waited 5 mins before he even asked how he can help me. Then once he did I explained that I never received my order.. he stops me mid sentence says hold on and then continues cooking for another 15 mins!!! He never even tried to check on my order. He told me our food was never even cooked. By the time I get home the food was delivered at my front door. So he completely lied and pretended to help me. Anyways, the order wasn t what we asked for. And after taking a few bites both my partner and I immediately fell ill. Let s just say our night was filled with relentless trips to the bathroom

So I understand that ordering a pizza on a Friday evening may take a while for delivery .. mine took 2.5 hours. I get it that people make mistakes. For example the delivery driver forgot my 2 liter and dipping sauces. That s fine I m not upset in the slightest. These things happen... BUT what absolutely infuriated me is when the delivery driver upon being informed that I have missing items says oh hold on I ll be right back walks away, gets in his car and leaves. Just leaves no explanation, no I m sorry nothing (this gets better) I then call the local papa johns. Hit the option the speak to a manager through their phone system then hold for about five minutes to then have someone answer the call, say we closed and then immediately hang up on me wow, just WOW!! absolutely the worst papa Johns experience ever. After looking up their reviews from other folks this seems to be pretty par for the course at this location at least. John Schnatter might have been a right wing nut bag, but at least there was some customer service quality on his watch.

DO NOT order from this location if you expect to actually get food. The last time I ordered was nearly 4 months ago and they delivered to the wrong address. When I tried to get the order replaced I was accused of lying about not recieving my food. We have a ring camera. No one ever approached our door. Tonight we decided to order and there was a 30-40 minute wait time. It has been nearly 2 hours and we have not received our food. The tracker has said the order has been in preparation the entire time. Ive currently been on hold trying to cancel my order for over 30 minutes and they close in 20 minutes, so I can only assume theyre ignoring their phone until they close. Order Gumbys instead, theyre food is fantastic and they actually answer the phone if theres an issue with an order.

Do not believe the person taking your order for delivery when they tell you 24 to 34 minutes!!!! It took 90 minutes!!!! After waiting one hour, I called the manager to check on our order and was told it was out for delivery and the driver knew where to deliver it. It seriously took another half hour to arrive and was ice cold. We had been driving across Texas all day and were just too tired to want to fight more traffic to go out to a restaurant, and then had the worst pizza delivery experience of our lives. DO NOT EAT HERE. Go to Gumby s instead. Higher quality, timely and actually cheaper. We ordered at 4 and were told it would be 25 mins. After an hour, we called multiple times, unable to get ahold of anyone. My boyfriend went in person to cancel after an hour and a half. This lady working there said our order wasn t in their system even though we had a confirmation email and used my account. And she added there was nothing they could do. She was very rude and clearly didn t care about anything. After a few minutes of trying to explain we ordered and paid at this location, she suddenly said it was delivered and it just popped up. While this happened, I was at the house and our order was at the front door. But the driver didn t knock or anything and our food was room temperature. So 1 hour and 40 mins for cold pizza and rude/near impossible to get a hold of service. I order from Papa Johns a lot and this was by far the worst experience.

Ordered a pizza at 9PM, went well over an hour with no updates on the pizza tracker, and when I tried to call the store absolutely nobody would pick up. I had to call an Uber to go to the store since their online system doesnt seem to have a way to let you cancel orders, and when I got there, still on hold with the phone, they told me the delivery driver had JUST LEFT WITH MY PIZZA. I can understand being short staffed and orders taking awhile, I dont understand using that as an excuse to just completely ignore the phone and your customers trying to contact you. Even at my job we dont get to ignore the phone because were busy and dont have much staff, its completely unprofessional. My one star review comes after being a loyal customer these past few years. Tonight I was very disappointed when we showed up after waiting for 50 mins to first hear they didnt have our order. This confused my husband and had the cashier print an old receipt from 2020 that didnt make sense. And told him door dash delivered pizza at 1 pm (we dont use door dash). I came in and showed my receipt then he then gave us a refund because the order wasnt made.I asked what happened. He said the GM scheduled only 4 people while it was Valentines and kept the online order going which had them 40 orders behind. I was like oh so it wasnt techincal. You had my order? He then nodded. I unfortunately will never order from here when I especially know its busy like a holiday. I understand being short staffed but I felt bad seeing them not fulfill more orders. They will lose people in this kind of work environment and will lose more customers.

Bad experience here on Super Bowl Sunday. Ordered some pizzas around 3ish got there around 4ish, no biggie. I have a ring camera and unfortunately they driver didn t believe in practicing good hygiene by wiping his nose with his hands before handing me my pizza felt like my pizza was just bouncing hands between him and the young kid who was delivering with him as I saw them both with my pizzas. called the store to tell them about the poor hygiene. She replaced my pizza but I insisted on going to pick it up myself this time. Oh, when picking up I saw the same delivery person getting ready to take more pizzas out. Hope he washed his hands. Not one to rate papa John s pizza but I d like to give a shout out to this one. While it s unnerving to arrive for your take out and see that they are way behind on order fulfillment they still managed to stay focused and get everyone handled. Not sure what happened the day I was there but I don t see how you can be successful with three employees working at rush hour. Sure that wasn t their plan so I m gonna be constrictive here. I had the worst experience this evening. This location was unprofessional, and completely disregarded me as a customer. I understand that they are busy and short staff, I will and did not hold that agains them. I ordered my pizza on the app, my order was EXTREMELY delayed and no notification or heads up was given. Once it was delivered, it was left on my front door and once again no notification or heads up was given. I find my pizza 10-15 min later, of course cold Once I opened the box I notice not only is it cold, it s also wrong! I usually do not complain and only write positive reviews but that was just bad all around. I called Papa Johns to let them know and all they could do was make excuses, not once did they take any responsibility.The manager then said he could refund the incorrect pizza only (which was fine by me) but then put me on hold and forgot about me. 22 minutes later my husband called and tore him a new one, it was then that the refund for the one pizza was issued. Stopped at this location tonight. Only customers in the lobby. I stood there for 5 minutes. Made eye contact with 3 employees. Finally said hello is your lobby closed? Are you not taking orders? One of the gentlemen putting toppings on the pizzas rolled his eyes and walked into the office. A lady emerged from the office and informed me she was busy. I asked her if they were taking orders. She sarcastically said yes but it will be a minimum of 30 minutes or more before we make yours. Then I noticed the employees handling the food were not gloved so we said never mind we will go to another pizza place. I have a large family and pizza has always been our go too on busy nights. Ordered a pizza. Got here pretty fast. Opened the box and Ill looked like they cooked it, forgot some toppings, threw the rest of the toppings on, and then cut it. Our pizza took a long time to get to us. The app said 30 to 40 minutes it took way longer. I can understand if they were busy but they forgot my drink. It took a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes to get my drink to me after that. After the first 30 minutes I called and the manager said she just sent out the driver to bring my drink to me. After 30 more minutes I called back to check on my drink and she said the driver was on my road and it took another 10 minutes to get to my door. I live 7 minutes away from Papa Johns. I ordered a pizza and brownies. An hour later they finally showed up (left my pizza on my porch and drove away. I brought the pizza in and then got a phone call that my food was outside) and the pizza was barely warm and the brownie wasnt even cut. I watched on the tracker as the driver delivered multiple pizzas on the way here, so Im hoping at least they got hot pizza with melted cheese. The pizza was made well, but the cold pizza and all that was a major disappointment.

My pizza came to me undercooked so it was super doughy. We love Papa Johns at my house so I decided to just give them a call and let them know my pizza wasn t fully cooked. The man who answered the phone, I think his name was John, was very polite and offered to send me a new pizza or give me a credit on my account. We opted to get a new pizza and John was very helpful over the phone. He apologized for my pizza and sent the new one my way! Great service!

Completely disappointed. They gave us the wrong order. I told the delivery person and he told me to call the store. Called the store and I spoke to an employee /Manager and they told me they could give me credit or go out and deliver us the correct order. I told them we would still like our pizza/correct order so they agreed to come back and deliver the missing pizza. We waited for them and they left us hanging... Couldn t they have simply communicated that they were NOT coming? NEVER AGAIN!

Great service and friendly staff! Placed an order and the pizza came quickly but, the center was undercooked and doughy. I filled out the online review and called the store, the manager was very polite as I was speaking to him. He apologized and replaced the order. Both delivery men were nice as well.

2 weeks ago my online order was more than an hour late with no any apology from the delivery guy. I contacted the customer service and they apologises the manager himself reached me through Email. I even received a free pizza card and when I ordered using the card again - hoping this time they will make it right. They didn t even show up + they marked the order as Completed and I never received it + they took my money with no refund! If you can avoid them please do.. spend your money somewhere else. Update: 6 Months later no one contact me from Papa John s.. their account on Twitter promised to do something but another lie as expected!

Ordered a special and they forgot my drink (again) and the delivery driver had a complete screaming meltdown outside my door. Tried calling no answer. Take to online customer service, someone should contact you in 48 hours . It s been 7 days. No drink, no refund, nothing. Do not order from papa johns. Very bad customer service. This location Cancelled our order of 8 pizzas with 30 minutes notice before we were expecting them for a lunch meeting!!!! I called the night before to place our order since I knew Id have a busy morning. They pulled up my phone number, asked if they were delivering to our company address, I confirmed, took my order, they processed my credit card. I even called this morning at 10am to RECONFIRM our delivery order and asked if they could bring it close to 12 so it would be hot. They confirmed the order again....... At 11:22 they called to tell me they couldnt deliver to our address because we were outside of their delivery area! Not impressed how they left us hanging at the last minute and cancelled our order without making an exception for their error!! Poor management! Thank Goodness the manager Darin at Papa Johns in Kyle was able to save the day! He got 8 pizzas ready at the last minute and sent David out to deliver them in a hurry! They jumped into action and got the job done and I will encourage all 500 of our employees to order from them!!! Thank you PAPA JOHNS KYLE!!!!

Today I ordered a pizza in-store at 216 E Hopkins St, San Marcos, TX 78666 for deliver ACROSS the street. Over one hour later I still havent got my pizza. Went back across the street and the employee told me first the order was canceled and that I havent paid for it. After telling him that Im going to call the police they found the COLD pizza on the shelves with NO delivery assignment and gave me my money back. This is extremely horrible service and organization I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Terrible experience...never again...not only is Papa Johns pricier than Dominos but they do not deliver in the intended time shown online. The driver didnt even know the code to the gate which Im sure receives a lot of calls. Called the manager and he did not offer an immediate solution, and instead assumed I would be a returning customer. Avoid this place at all costs.
