The food here is an absolute 10/10! I eat here so often that I ve tried nearly everything on the menu and I can without a doubt assure you will LOVE this place too! Everything is super fresh and loaded with fantastic & unique flavors! The portions are large, the service is fast and friendly, and this location is light, bright, very clean.

The first time I had Chi Lantro I was at a work event and they had their food truck there. It was love at first bites I have been obsessed ever since. I ve been going to the San Marcos location for a while and the service is always top tier. The restaurant is very clean and basic. It is usually pretty quiet. One important thing to know is the store is cashless. I usually order through the app and I love their rewards program and birthday rewards so signing up for their rewards is a must. The food is a little pricy for fast food but it is really good. My favorite drink is the Basil Peach lemonade. I like to switch up the meals. I love the Kimchi fries, the fried wings and sometimes I will do a build your own bowl. Give them a try you won t be disappointed.

This place never ceases to amaze me! I am so happy that theyve created this San Marcos location, and I think it fits in perfectly! The service from all of the workers, always the sweetest, and the food portions when dining in are heavenly! :-) I will certainly keep coming back for more! Yum! There was one guy, behind the counter, doing what 5 people usually do. He had a great attitude, hustling and making it look easy, he was checking temps of the food, served several customers efficiently, good was great, my daughter said it was 10xs better service, and food quality than the one she visited in Austin TX 2 months ago. We didnt catch the young mans name. But we were there Saturday 7/6/2024, around 2pm I believe. I only see people move like him in the video games I play on my phone. It was my first time, and he was very patient, letting me try a few sauces before taking my order, but he never stopped moving he was doing something all the time. Vegetarian options: You can make your own bowl, has plenty of options to leave stuffed.

Don t bother coming after 8, they don t want you here. Chairs are up on the tables and they are out of almost everything and refuse to make more, even though several customers are coming in. How you gonna be out of rice and noodles and most of the proteins before 9? What are you expecting to serve customers who come in during the last hour or hour and a half of business, just kimchi? Frustrating! I love the food but it would be nice to be able to get it when I come in.

Service was great! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Food wasn t fresh. Chicken was cold and hard there was no way to heat it up. Not a huge deal! But taste is not there . There are much Better options for bowls. The fried egg was fresh !

They have a good variety of bowls on the menu as well as build your own. The ingredients are fresh and the bowl is made in front of you. Pleasant attitude of the staff when serving people over 50, like me. I will definitely return to try each bowl on the menu. The prices are in line with what we pay now. You should certainly put them on your list of places to eat at.

First I need to sincerely thank the staff for taking the time and being patient/awesome for our special request for our son who only wanted white cheese in his quesadilla. They took all the yellow cheese out and made it with just the white. Thats going above and beyond and we cant thank them enough. We got the KPop chicken on bowls and one also got some of the beef. Food was hot, fresh, delicious, and well definitely be back. Didnt get a chance to take pictures but will next time! Kid-friendliness: Again, they have options and were willing to help us meet our kids special request.

ChiLantro in San Marcos has quickly become my favorite spot in the whole city. My default go-to now! The staff are always kind and the place is always immaculately clean. Such a great alternative to all the other offerings of food in town. The staff have also been so inviting that I anticipate seeing them with such joy. Rebecca and Scott are two that have been amazing employees there that make my trips even better. The food is phenomenal, the kimchi fries are a must try and my usual are the ssams. Try one with magic sauce! Theyre heavenly! Thanks Chilantro!!!!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Don t waste your time or money here. We ordered more than 30 minutes in advance for a quick pick up, got there and was rudely informed by a little man that the order wasn t ready, waited another almost 40 minutes without ANYONE apologizing or explaining why this one order was taking so long but everyone else was getting their food. We finally had to as to cancel the order, and still didn t seem like anyone cared. DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Food quality was good and on par with Chilantro s in austin. The portion sizing was really disappointing. I got the Kimchi fries with tofu and it felt like I got only half the amount of food that I d normally get at another Chilantro. With that in mind I ll probably stick to Fresco since their portions dont skimp out at all.

My only complaint is that the portion sizes are seriously small. The wings looked like Cornish hen wings. The kimchi fries are delicious but they are in a very small boat that you would find in a gas station hot food item. I recommend increasing portions and raise the price if necessary. With flavors this good people will pay more for more.

my first time here ever & I loved it so much. Gwen was AMAZING!!! BREATHTAKINGLY SWEET AND KIND AND PATIENT AND DID NOT RUSH ME IN MY INDECISIVENESS. SHE WAS SO CALM AND COLLECTED AND SO SWEET. 3rd best of that type of restaurant in that immediate area. Took my family there. I feel like it cost $10 more than it should have. Want a rice bowl, go to Fresco. Want an Asian rice bowl, go to Hawaiian Poke. Korean, take the trip to K-Bop. ChiLantro does not stand out. Eh quality + high price = bad. We probably wont be going back. ================== But to avoid be a total Debby Downer, my wife & I agree that the beef was very tender.

Really loved the food today! I went for the tofu noodle bowl and it was surprisingly good! I am not a vegetarian or vegan but the flavors were absolutely delicious. The kimchi fries were good too. Staff was very nice. We will definitely come back!

Food was absolutely delicious! I got the bowl with Japchae noodles, spicy chicken(very flavorful), fried egg, caramelized kimchi, grilled veggies, lettuce, onions, korean esquites(which was alright), shredded cheese, chi jeu queso, magic sauce, and red pepper flakes. Idk if it was the queso or the magic sauce but whatever sauce it was it was delicious!! I was nervous all the toppings I was getting wasnt going to taste good with the Japchae noodles but it was so good. Definitely coming back!!
