Authentic spot, love that we could get a packaged ramen bowl and fix it up for a cheap lunch and then splurge on a yummy treat. Will definitely come again. my two brothers and I were in the mood for frozen yogurt from Frozen Cave, the service was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly. A minor hiccup occurred when my brother realized hed forgotten his card, so I stepped in to cover his share. I had a $20 bill on hand, but the total was $22. my brother dashed off to retrieve some additional cash from the car, the owner generously allowed me to settle the bill with just the $20 I had. It was a small but thoughtful gesture that made our sweet outing even sweeter. thank you blessings to these sweet owners

Waited in line for 15 minutes because it was pretty packed and when we got to the register the lady told us we have to wait until everyone else behind us paid for their frozen yogurt. So we left after waiting 15 minutes just so the people behind us ice cream wouldn t melt. Extremely annoying since I m a regular customer I ve never experienced them saying that before. Bad service.

I really just wanted a cone w soft-serve vanilla ice cream, but they just had the frozen yogurt that you cant put in a cone. So I got the smallest bowl & no cone because they have to weigh it. $9.50 for the smallest bowl!!! On top of it it tasted sour and nothing like vanilla. I cant believe I just got so ripped off at an ice cream place! Came home & gave to my roommate just to see if he would liked it. He handed it right back to me and said it tasted funny couldve bought a $9 Steak instead

The gelato flavors are unique and great . The frozen yogurt however is hit or miss. It s okay, but the toppings are bad. We tried the cheesecake bites and they tasted expired. A few of the other sweet toppings tasted old and stale as well. Overall a nice environment, very eclectic. It does look a little bit rundown and dirty, which is a shame because the location has such a fun style to it.

Frozen Cave has an eclectic asthetic. The owner uses odds-and-ends furnishing and the layout is almost maze-like to get to the nooks and crannies seating. Every portion has a different vibe. The Gelato and frozen yogurt was good. The yogurt was a little watery, but still good for the price.

This place is lit I am enjoying a large boba milk horchata ans as a Mexican American I can say with absolute certain say that it tastes like horchata. VERY comfy vibes all around and reasonable prices with even cheaper options with their froyo for students trying to get something sweet at a cheaper price than their actual gelato. We wanted to try a new yogurt/ice cream place but were very disappointed. We went in the evening and it was very dirty. The floors were sticky and water was puddled on the floor. The atmosphere looked cozy but when we went to sit down it was so dirty that my 8 year old wanted to eat in the car because she wasn t comfortable. My husband didn t get anything because of how filthy it was. We were so excited but unfortunately wont be back.

I was running low on cash and wanted something a bit cheaper. When I took my froyo to the weight I realized how pricey it was. I asked the worker if I could scrape some stuff off or make a new, lighter yogurt. I was told no and that I HAD to pay for the current yogurt. Thankfully there was enough money on my card but I find it ridiculous that I wasn t allowed to redo my yogurt for money reasons. I can understand if the worker explained it to me in a polite way but he was very rude about it. Not everyone has that much cash to spend on dessert. The yogurt was also very runny.

Gelato is good! The creme brulee cheesecake was just cheesecake so a bit disappointing. The place is pretty great and inviting. We sat in a booth and played a game of Domino that was just there waiting to be played. Price seemed about right for the flavor/experience. Such a great place to study or hang out with friends. Such a homey feeling. There is a wide variety of goodies like smoothies, shakes, gelato, frozen yogurt, cereal, waffles, croissants, grilled cheese and bubble tea. There are a few board games and tons of sitting room. The man that works behind the counter is such a cool dude, while I was studying he let me sit down and continue to study while he made my order and later brought me it. This is my favorite place in San Marcos to study.

So, I love this place. They have a large variety of different options, flavors, toppings. Whether its ice cream you want, bubble tea, or froyo, they have it. There is also plenty of seating and the staff is always pleasent. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this place 5 stars is the very dirty, nasty looking couch bench that is right in the entryway. Its an eyesore, and one of the first things you see when you walk in. If you want to keep the couch bench, I would suggest covering it or having it cleaned.

Im floored by this place. Theres gelato, gelato smoothies, bubble tea, froyo.... and they have a waffle maker. Heck, they even have a savory menu, which mostly makes use of the waffle maker. To top it off, they will make animal faces on the gelato scoops. Normally when places have an extensive menu everything ends up kinda blah, but not in this case. My group all ordered different things off the menu and we were all visibly making faces because our orders were SO good. Another patron had ordered one of the animal face gelatos, and she ended up posing with it while her friend took a picture because it was so adorable. The interior itself felt pretty comfortable, and theres plenty of nooks to tuck away into. In that way its almost like a coffeehouse, but its brighter and welcoming to groups of people to hang out. The way the sitting is broken up allows for both quiet and chatting folks to exist in the same space. My group has been discussing making it a local haunt due to this. The lady working the counter was super sweet and happy to be working there. Her smile was infectious and all of the patrons ended up grinning by the time they got to the counter to pay.

Toppings 5/5 Customer service 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Flavors 4/5 Location 3/5 Great variety of toppings, very friendly staff, and a very relaxing atmosphere.
