After two horrible experiences with family law attorneys, but not willing to give up the fight for my son, I decided to give Matthew Hill an opportunity. My initial consultation I was on the defense with Mr. Hill because of my frustration with my divorce decree and an ex who I felt was breaking the decree left and right and getting away with it . I was very open about what I wanted changed (and it s quite a bit) but most importantly wanted my son to come to school with me, as I am a teacher. He was quite blunt, telling me what I wanted would need to happen in steps, if at all, and he can t guarantee the outcome. Frustration set in again, but didn t last long. After multiple phone calls/emails (that were ALWAYS answered right away) *** Thank you Tina (she is very knowledgeable and empathetic) *** we were able to have a court date to set a temporary hearing. Hill was professional, calm and very prepared. 3 hours later, my son is now enrolled at my school and the rest of the details played out in my favor as well. We are still working on other issues and Tina and Matt have continued to be just as responsive, professional and in my corner as they were from the beginning. I couldn t be more thankful.

I could not have possibly made a better decision in retaining Matthew & the entire group. Professional, honest, ethical & straight to the point. My appreciation for the knowledge & effort this firm provided me throughout the most difficult time in my life left me with a sense of security & faith that I was in the best hands possible. Without hesitation myself & my family would strongly advise utilizing this firm in the absolute best interest for a problem that deserves the best results for oneself & ones family.

Recently used mr. hill for my divorce excellent attorney and a nice person made me feel comfortable n confident. And paralegal Tina went way above and beyond spoke with me several times not just about the legal part of my divorce but on an emotional level to help me get through it. I hope I never need a divorce lawyer again, but for anybody who is looking for a good attorney I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR. Hill. Thank you very much

I highly recommend Mr Hill and his law firm. I was in a nasty Custody case for over a year out of state. After everything done we won our case. I highly highly recommend him he will win for you!!!

Mathew took the time to talk to me and my attorney in Utah about strategy between the two states. Mathew was kind and well versed with lots of experience to pull from. If/When I need any legal counsel in Texas, Mathew Hill will be who I call and whom I recommend to anyone in the area.

Mr. Hill was ineffective. He is biased, based on his account of his own nasty divorce, and based on zero satisfied female clients commenting. I made absolutely no demands against my husband. I paid $1,700, with no results. I did encounter bad attitudes from the accountant and sometimes from the legal assistant. I was not even counseled about options after the cancellation of my divorce. With understanding and patience of their refund policies, they delayed and made excuses. I was astonished that after waiting a few weeks after a deadline, I magically called on the right date and it was going out in the mail that day. I am very dissappointed!!

Mr. Hill and his staff have done an excellent job for my initial use and I used him again when my ex-wife took me back to court trying to get it allowed for the boyfriends to spend the night. They were thorough with my case and explained any questions I had to my satisfaction. If I need a family law attorney in the future to deal with anything else he will definitely get a call from me.

I did not hire this firm but they wanted a $250 consultation fee when their competition offers free consultations. We were looking for an attorney to help us with a very simple legal matter that will essentially be a series of uncontested administrative steps. The attendant who answered the phone was a bit rude and basically hung up on me. I envisioned the law firm handling my very personal family matter to be at the very worst, cordial. Needless to say, we passed!

I recently retained Matthew J. Hill and the wonderful folks that work with him to help me address a very difficult and hostile post-divorce property division and enforcement case that was filed against me. I can t commend them enough for the extraordinary efforts and insights navigating my situation, and the professionalism and attention that they gave to me and my case. The process was very difficult and complex. During the entire period that we were dealing with this Matthew was in constant contact with me, I never felt abandoned or out of the loop, they communicated with me and stayed on top of things perfectly. I m not new to divorce, custody, property settlements, or similar family law matters unfortunately. I have had some great attorneys along the path and unfortunately some really incompetent ones; Matthew rates right there at the top. He was efficient so that my legal fees didn t run up and cost me more than necessary to successfully resolve my case. Matthew always gave me the sense that he knew exactly what he was doing, and that if, God forbid, we were to end up in trial, there was no doubt in my mind that we would have won our case in court. Fortunately for me we were able to resolve the dispute and arrive at an amenable resolution without going to trial. That is not an easy outcome to obtain against the odds that I was facing. Thank you Matthew, and thanks to your excellent staff for all their long hours and support as well. Long hours including weekends and evenings when necessary; hard to find an attorney that will go to those lengths these days. Extra hours may have cost me in legal fees, but the great outcome more than made up for that. I would recommend Matthew Hill s services to anybody who would ask me, hands down! M.M.
