I went around 12:30 ish place was empty but with a lot of DoorDash orders. The lady manning the restaurant is so sweet, she was literally running to get me my water. The ramen was out in 5 minutes. I ordered the tonkatsu and it was delicious and reasonably priced! Can t wait to come back here <3

The food was amazing! I got the vegan miso ramen and added a marinated egg. The flavor and presentation were spectacular! Service was friendly and fast. Not a lot of people present at 12pm on a Saturday. 10/10 will be back. *UPDATE* I came back in July and it is still a 10/10! The Tonkatsu Ramen was out of this world and I 100% recommend people try this place. The server is very sweet and amazing as well! Not a lot of people at 1pm on a Monday so that s a plus!

I have a hard time going to eat at new places (especially with unfamiliar foods), however this place didn t make me feel my usual sense of soul crushing doom I usually do when eating out. Decided to try this place for the 1st time yesterday and order at the counter to go. The lady at the front desk had Zero customer skills. She was not friendly or helpful at all. Everytime I asked a question she just referred me back to the menu to look myself. They do not offer any type of Beef there and the pork was not good. My husband got the chicken fried rice and although it wasnt bad, it was way too salty. I got the Pork Ramen and it was just not appetizing. All in all the customer service at the front desk alone would never want to make me come back.

Our meal was delicious. I have been wanting to dine here for years but never had the time to do so. Finally, with my wife dining with me, I was able to visit Toro Ramen and Poke Barn. I am kicking myself for not trying this wonderful restaurant sooner. The cucumber salad was a piece of art, and the Poke bowl was filling and delicious. Pictures are posted.

I got the shoyu ramen and it was quite bland. The server did the bare minimum and forgot to get a drink while nothing in the restaurant was happening. Staff only went around asking if we needed to buy more things and not if we enjoyed anything. If you want a mediocre experience come here!! If you want something better go to shai yo or anywhere else in this city. Also $3 for a waiter cup of chili paste is crazy.

Almost immediately after we arrived they turned off the lights to half the restaurant, which led us to think they were closing soon. This was at 7pm, we check the hours and their closing time is 9:30pm. We ordered with Anabel which through our entire meal was attentive, kind, and helpful. She recommended some delicious food. The spicy tonkotsu ramen was delicious. The gioza too. However, the edamame was overcooked, and not as tasty. Their was an individual there however which seemed rushed and sort of made the environment uncomfortable. Not necessarily welcoming. She would bring us an item and take off like thank you BTW

I just moved into town, and decided to give this place a try. Boy was it the right move! I got the three protein poke bowl with salmon and tuna. It s fantastic and tastes so fresh! I have been going to Toro Ramen since they opened, and year after year they provide amazing food, great quality of service, and overall it is one of my favorite places to go. I have never had something here I did not enjoy, the food is good and consistent, and almost feel like I am going to someones house instead of a restaurant becasue of the quality of care I get while I am there. I love the ramen so much that even on 107 degree summer days I want their food. I highly recommend coming here and trying it out. The best ramen in the world is located in San Marcos Texas at toro ramen . I just got back from Paris France where I made an hour line to go eat the best ramen they had there and let me tell you that it s not even close to being as good as the ramen here at Toro ramen everything from the consistency of the noodles the tender pork the complex broth with the fresh ginger strips is unforgettable. Ive eaten here a bunch of times before (Ramen & Poke) & its always delicious! Ordered takeout this time & it was not a disappointment. My husband & I both got ramen, with some add ons. The server was by herself & immediately apologized for that. We felt bad for her, considering it was kinda steady as far as dine in & takeout patrons. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes & it was perfect. The only thing I would change about this place is the fact that they close mid day for a few hours. This is my go-to place since its much closer than Austin & I dont always eat at the same times of the day.....my ramen/poke cravings kick in whenever they want!!!

My partner and I have been coming here for years and we continue to have wonderful experiences. The food is absolutely delicious here, all home made, served hot and quick! We alternate between the Yakisoba & the ramens, both are incredible. The spicy garlic tofu appetizer goes HARD it is so full of flavor and will definitely have your nose running! It s a cool little spot! The atmosphere is really quiet and the food was decent! The ramen has thinner noodles than what I m used to in ramen but that s fine. The bowl was prepared quickly and the poke was fresh. The reason for the deduction of two stars is that a woman, I m guessing she s the manager or owner, came with her small dog, and was carrying it with her hands and putting it in a dog purse then served me my poke without washing her hands I didn t fuss about it because there was other people in the dinning area but I don t think that s cool. I m an animal lover but was if I was allergic to dogs? I don t think I m being unreasonable to say that was a big no no. Overall good food tho.

This is my absolute favorite ramen I have ever had, me and my girlfriend are obsessed and go basically every week. The spicy tonkotsu is an amazing meal and the employees are so nice always!!!

Great food! We started with the veggie rolls which were one of the best rolls we ve had. There was the thin crunch from the roll on the outside and the inside was soft and flavorful. They were SO good. The sauce they served with it was equally delicious to send your palate on a flavor journey. Obviously as you can see in the picture, we were already half way done before I remembered to take the picture I love sushi but had never tried a Poke bowl. I decided to try it here and ordered it with yellowtail, tuna, and spicy tuna. It also had crab salad when they brought it out. Wow, it was incredible! I loved it. My wife and daughter got the chicken ramen and the said it was ok. Neither the best they ve had or the worst. My wife said it was too salty and the chicken is fried and served on the side in chunks, which was a little strange. I tried some though and thought it was pretty good. I had to either bump this review down to 4 stars or keep it at 5 because I can t do 4 1/2. The bathroom usually has a full star weight behind it in my reviews. It was clean, which is why I left it at 5 stars, but the handles for the faucets were broken, the paper towel dispenser was also broken, and the room could use some extra elbow grease to get it up to par. Overall though, it was clean which is my mine deciding factor. I have to base this review on my experience and the food was amazing. If I used my wife s and daughters feedback, it would go down to 4 stars, but everyone loved the veggie rolls and the poke bowl was awesome, so I m keeping it at 5. Definitely try this place out!
