Updated Review: We came to visit this past weekend again and brought our 12year along with their siblings and all 3 children loved it! Please give the tall young man who does the lego demonstrations and car builds with the kids, a raise! He was hands on with our kids and he hyped them up so well when they raced their cars! He needs to do voice over work for yall because his voice was magnificent! I def feel like he is being under utilized. 1 con, the womens restroom needs to be worked on! Alot of the toilets had issues flushing so only a few stalls were available. Previous Review: I 100% DO NOT AGREE with previous reviews that say this place is only for toddlers! I just took my 5 & 7yo kids on Saturday and even my husband and I had fun! The time slots make it to where it doesnt get too packed so if you have sensory issues, this place is great! They have 2 rides, 1 4D movie theater with glasses and 1 lego park for our kiddos to explore with plenty of activities. They have a playground for infants/toddlers and a playground for older kiddos. Also plenty of seating for parents. We spent about 3 hours here because there was so many activities for us to do as well as theres a small Cafe with snacks/drinks and even Starbucks coffee if yall get hungry/thirsty(reasonably priced). I highly recommend buying the activity packs because it makes going to Legoland even more fun! With 4 tickets, 2 activity packs & 2 toys we spent $100. (I recommend buying tickets online because you get inside quicker) We definitely will be returning!

We got the tickets online in advance and did the bundle with the activity pack and Sea Life Aquatica. 1000% recommend!! We celebrated my son s birthday with some family and friends and had the best day ever, especially building Legos and riding the small rides. This place is very family friendly, not overly crowded due to the time selection when you purchase your tickets, and very well priced.

The only way this is worth the money is if you come with a coupon and don t pay full price. For kids it s fine, but the thing is, adults need to pay to get in too, and it s 90% for children. We came for my nephews birthday. 5 adults and 2 kids. Almost $200 bucks to get in. 2 stars because the kids enjoyed the play gym area that you can find at your local park or McDonald s.

Went on a Friday morning when they opened up at 10am. Was nervous at first bc I read every adult needs a kid and I had my parents and my 4 year old. Didn t have any issues with 3:1 ratio. Was very clean, had issues with the VR ride, my dad s goggle didn t work but they did restart it so that was good. Also maybe bc it was empty but we didn t get to do the workshop building class at specified hours, door was locked. 4d movie was cool but it cut off during the final moments where characters were saying goodbye, lol. Overall my kid loved it and it was pretty neat. My kid could ve stayed there fiddling with the car building/racing area but total we spent maybe 2-2.5 hours there then went out and had lunch in the mall. My husband wants to check it out so we will go back. They have local tickets and military discounts, they aren t super apparent at first but look around on the site and you can find.

When you have a 6 year old and he says it isnt what he expected you re- think going. Had short visit in mall at Lego land. Was not as big and as adventurous as I had anticipated. The kids had fun, little bit overpriced but did do aquarium also for discount price. Was able to keep kids occupied for a few hours. Would not suggest making a day out of it unless you planning out more activities. Overall not bad and very friendly staff. Rated 3 just because Lego land could have invented a little bit more into the adventure.

Magic lego-place. It is inside of mall, so it is not to big, but you can spend few hours of fun. There are differents activities as: workshops, games, movies and free-games. You can find a little restaurant, the hot-dos is a good option. Consideration: You should buy the legoland ticket and aquarium, because is cheaper than buy separate.

Legoland is ONLY FOR SMALL KIDS! With that being said, my children loved it. The only reason I wouldn t rate it a 4/5 star is because I honestly don t think it s worth the money. It s only one section attraction, what you see it s all there really is. I envisioned something bigger but still enjoyable for the kids.

As a first experience, I think Legoland is definitely worth it. With the basic entry you get access to 2 rides, the 4D short films, a large playground, countless building stations and a building class. Workers were helpful and kind. Facility was clean. Parking was close in the mall and validated by the staff at Legoland. I would not recommend going if your child is younger than 3, there are height restrictions for rides and playgrounds. If your child doesn t enjoy building or can t, they won t have much to do. There are food and coffee options in their cafe. For the price I don t think we d go again as it seems nothing seasonally changes. There aren t enough attractions to repeatedly go and feel like we are doing something new. However as first time visitors we had a blast!

There are some negative reviews here from bitter people, I just tell them not to pay attention to those reviews. The place is great, if your child is small, I would say 4 to 8 years old, he will have a lot of fun playing with Legos, you can play with him and become a child for a while. I also liked the Lego assembly class, the boy who explained everything to us is very friendly and has great experience in building with Legos. It is a small place, for a visit between 2 to 3 hours maximum. What I do recommend is to bring a sweater, we went in the middle of summer and the air conditioning is at a very low temperature, it really makes you cold.

I think its not worth the price of the ticket, the park is very small and mostly consists of stations to build Legos. Children between 3-6 years old generally enjoy it and there are many armchairs for you to squash down there to watch them play. It is not worth hiring the extra experiences , nor the 4D cinema. I think it works well as a plan for San Antonio locals, rather than for tourists.

Not nearly as big as the pictures portray, the play area is not even nearly as big as an indoor playground, they dont honor homeschool prices unless you pull up the website to show them their own prices, everything fun is an add on Definitely wouldn t make the drive to come back.

I don t think the price is worth the experience but I do think it s a cool concept that included a small ride. I wish it was a little bit more interactive with more planned activities for building things. This seems to be a place for smaller kids like toddlers rather than young kids (8+). Some other displays were not working (buttons) and I feel like the $7.00 activity pack was a waste of money. The actual demos were pretty cool. I also appreciate it the fact that they provide complementary or discounted parking.

Today, August 1, we were at the place and the truth is it leaves a lot to be desired, I had more expectations based on the comments but in a fairly objective opinion, there are more Legos in my house than on the site. It seems more like a ranch, only with the difference that they dont take care of the children, there are only two attractions with mechanical games, the rest are play areas to assemble simple monkeys, but normal ones, for what you pay I would have thought they were from the robots. For my taste the ONLY PRETTY thing is the representation of the city of San Antonio. They should put more production into the place, I hope my opinion helps you.

Our son enjoyed it but we were unaware of the various height requirements for my daughter (3 feet to play on playground and one of the rides) which made it difficult for her to enjoy. Had we known that going in we would not have taken her since there was little for her to do. She was better off at the sea life discovery instead of LEGOLAND.

My 2 year old loved it, even though didnt go to the movie theater, and other attractions/activities like one of the playgrounds due the restrictions. My 8 year old liked the two rides, the two movies, and some of the activity stations.. but to me, it is pricey, it is a small place, my 8 year old was expecting something bigger and with more activities to do, my youngest was happy with the 3 activities that was able to play, the cars and the small playground, he wasnt able to play in the other playground, need to be like half inch taller, they didnt let them go inside if they are smaller, consider this if your child is like mine. Adults had to pay full, so if both parents go, it is expensive. As other reviews mentioned, be prepared with the cold, it is super cold inside there. Overall, it is a good experience for small kids, Not toddlers due the chocking hazards and the restrictions, with that being said, since they are not going to play all of the activities, to me they shouldnt pay as much as a big kid, and adults shouldnt pay also that much since they are just companions.

Put simply: My kids (3 & 7) had a GREAT TIME! This is one of the only parts of our recent San Antonio trip that they fought us when it was time to leave. We left a couple of hours before closing, but we were still there almost 4 hours, so I think we got our moneys worth. It should be obvious, but this is definitely designed for kids. I dont think anyone above the age of 15 would be entertained for the same amount of time as anyone younger, but it was amusing even as an adult who loved LEGOs as a child. My only complaint is that you cant leave and come back, so if you didnt eat before hand, be prepared for a LIMITED amount of food and drink options. Our visit included only four options: personal pizza, corndog, hot dot, or dino chicken nuggets. Luckily, I hadnt had a hot dog in a while, and they were all beef and actually really good. But everything was stuff out of a bag or the freezer. I saw some reviews complain about parking, but if thats a concern, park at the Rivercenter Mall garage, do the Alamo, some of the Riverwalk, or any of a dozen other tourist options within walking distance along with LEGOLAND and its as good a deal as any other lot in the area.

Not a great experience. Characters only come out to visit the parties, NOT other customers. So children try to crowd around to take a picture with them as they re walking back to change but the employee that guides him did not allow it. Leaving many children sad. No assistance on the floor so younger kids couldn t fully participate in the racing area bc no one is there to assist in building.

It is COLD in there. And you can t leave and reenter, so be prepared. Overall, the kids enjoyed it, but it was meh. The first ride is a laser gun experience, but much of it wasn t working. A whole screen was off, and only one screen registered our laser shots. The main Lego room didn t have well organized or well stocked Lego bins. For example, on the build and test race track, there were odd numbers of wheels and tires, so we could use some wheel/tire types. The staff were nice and we had a good coffee/snack in the cafe.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with this visit. I asked one of the associates about the discount after 3:00 p.m. He said, I dont know why they have that on the website, its a lie. This is completely unacceptable. There is a price difference if you buy online, but none of the associates will tell you that. There are limited attractions with limited supplies. The VR station is an additional charge. My children couldnt even build a car because there isnt enough wheels. This facility is very dirty in every area. The restroom had trash everywhere and poop on one of the toliet seats. The restroom hadnt been checked since 12:00, according to the sheet on the back of the door. It was already 4:00, I reported it to the staff in the snack shop. They offered us to buy a picture at the end of our visit. The picture was very dark, so we asked if we could retake the picture. The sales associate taking the picture seemed annoyed with our request. Definitely not worth the admission price.

We love coming to LegoCenter since my kids are younger, lately it seems a little run down. In the car assembly area, they come 3 times that we come and there are no tires and without that the activity cannot be done. In the area to assemble the tremor tower there is not enough material for the 4 places there are. In the Lego Movie the special effects are out of phase with the film and the film ends in a cut. There is not enough material in LegoDuplo. We believe that it is not cheap to come so that the material is not complete. On the other hand, the attention is great, the Lego Workshop girl always has a good attitude and everything else is very good.

Notes: Make sure you buy the VR ride prior to entering if that is something you would like to do. Also, I would plan to spend at least a couple hours there minimum. Age recommendation is 3 to 12, but my 14 yr old still found a couple of things to do. Get the Lego and Sea Life package.

Legoland in San Antonio is one of the kids favorite places to visit when in town. They have two small rides which the kids love. They also have a really nice playscape and a 4d movie theater which are awesome. Asides this, there are plenty of Lego sculptures to view and a large play area where the kids can use their imagination to build whatever they want since there are thousands of pieces available for them. Weve been there at least 3 times and have to come from out of town. There also is a little cafe as well that serves food and coffee - the menu is priced decently.

Truly, very fun! We enjoyed all the different activities. **Important note before i go into my review: buy the lego tickets and the sea life tickets online! Dont wait till you get there. With online, you have the ability to bundle and save on both attractions. Its like 29$ for both; whereas, at the store, its 24$ each. There was a fun little ride at the very beginning. Very gentle for all riders, even the young and older passengers. We loved seeing the lego city of San Antonio and playing I Spy. In the next room, there were so many different tables of different building tasks. There was a playground and slide for younger kids and babies. There was a bigger playground for big kids which required them to take their shoes off. If you didnt have socks, there were socks to purchase at their cafe. Lots of yummy options for the kids, like nuggets, hot dogs, and pizza, among others. They come with a cute little lego lunch box. There a movie theater for lego movies. And my daughters favorite part was when we went on a carnival ride. I was so afraid it was going to be too scary for her, but it was perfect. Good for the kids. Accessible for the parent. We also enjoyed the lego store where kids can make their own lego people. All in all, it was so fun, and Im so glad we came. The only thing I wouldnt do again was the activity pack. It really wasnt worth it. You wont miss it if you dont get it. Have fun!

We visited on the Tuesday following Memorial Day. We are locals and wanted to take our grandchildren (5 & 7) somewhere to do an indoor activity. We purchased the combo ticket with SeaLife and enjoyed a great day visiting both attractions which both kids enjoyed. The website didn t really show you what you would expect so we didn t really know if it would be a dud or not and we were pleasantly surprised. The kids had a lot of fun and that was what was most important to us. Not sure it would be as much fun to kids over the age of 8. Also, we parked at the Rivercenter Mall garage and the cost for a day there was astronomical. If it hadn t been so hot we would ve parked further away and walked but with two young children that wasn t feasible with the temps in late May. Bonus for us was that it was not busy at all the day we went.

They mentioned hands on experience to play with but Im guessing it was the 5 minute game ride. Itll be nice to have 2 attendants for the ride to keep the line moving. One to let them enter while the other one clearing the exit. One of the screen isnt working on the ride. At the end, i dont recommend Legoland to others.

My kids had a blast here. The day we were there was apparently a school day with first, second, and third graders visiting. Because of this, it was so busy and the wait for the ride was very long. The bigger ride was closed all day and that was unfortunate, especially with so many extra people. My kids enjoyed the play area (just like any other indoor jungle gym), the car building and racing area, and the theater. The biggest issue we had while we were here was the toddler area. It clearly says it is for toddlers and even has an age limit. However, while the schools were there, all the big kids were mobbing the toddler area and my 2 year old kept getting shoved out of the way so bigger kids could play. This doesnt make sense to me. Why have a designated area if there will be no enforcement on this? Neither the employees nor the teachers stopped this from happening. There were at least 20 kids in each grade listed who rotating through each spot for the first few hours we were there. It was really crazy. Once the schools left though, it was so quiet and my kids actually got to play. My favorite thing was the working LEGO clocktower.

Whoever built that is a super creative Artist I loved the fact I was able to rest as a parent while my kids built and played in the play area. They had a Lil snack area to eat when you got hungry. My boys did started gettin cranky after awhile cuz we were there too long that we werent able to view the 4D Movie which I wanted to. Overall experience was wonderful that we would definitely come back again oh and of course my oldest shopped for toys in the Lego store as if he was a millionaire lol. We allowed it only to enjoy his experience which made him happy.

There is no play space like this for children from preschool to elementary school age...! Its within the River Center, so its very accessible, and theres one amusement ride inside and a playground decorated like a kids cafe. There is also a space to play with Lego. The space where the center of San Antonio and the Riverwalk are made of Lego can only be seen in San Antonio, and the theme is changed periodically, so it is worth seeing.

1st time at Lego land. It s a fun activity for the young kids. My son (7yrs) enjoyed it more than my daughter (4). However they are very different and like different things. I disliked the price of the VR experience. It was very short! My son tried it. Head piece was malfunctioning and my son said he couldn t see anything. I told the staff, they fixed it, but didn t offer my son to try again. They said they needed another ticket. I told them it wasn t our fault it was faulty, they replied it s not my fault either. I asked to speak to a manager. They ended somewhat fixing the faulty headpieces and letting him try again. But the manager didn t introduce themselves and didn t apologize. I saw the next kid in line have issues too, I hope they (the customer) stood their ground too. So I would say, customer service can improve!

Also I walked in with a full Starbucks drink (used my birthday coupon for it) that I had to finish before entering LegoLand so I drank what I could and threw the rest away just to see people inside Legoland walking around with Starbucks drinks, like what?!. Sea life was much better and worth the price Legoland was overrated and not worth it.

Legoland Discovery is great a place to take your kids, especially kids from 5 and up, so they can get creative on building Legos such as cars, buildings and etc. Your kids can be as creative as they want, they might get hooked on building/buying a Lego set at home. There was no wait line. What I enjoyed the most is that it s a whole floor, and you easily see your kid run everywhere this floor. The Lego version of the city of SA took over a year and a half to build, this was impressive

Took 3 children ages 4/8/11, not worth $150+ at all! We wouldve had more fun at a public park. Lego land NY is light years better than this. I wouldnt even waste my time/money bringing children here. We had more fun riding the ride on toys outside of Lego land. For $150+ we wouldve been better off going to Dave and Busters

See a lot of reviews complaining about the staff but the staff are like 17 yrs old, what do you expect them to do? Seriously considering calling my lawyer after spending the last hour trying to figure out a way to download the digital photo i paid for- have gotten like three emails bounced back and two links from the third party vendor that just kick to a dead link. Which is pretty messed up because when i purchased the tickets, there wasnt an option to Not buy the digital photo. Hey. Legoland San Antonio. Gimme my stupid picture.

Highly recommend buying combo tickets in advance and getting there before they open and get the activity pack. By being early, the kids were able to do a lot before it got crowded . Also, if you are going to eat there, I recommend being the first in the cafe when it opens, and if you didnt purchase an activity pack earlier, you can do it there. The interactive ride was down, and an employee said it had been down for a long time. They really should make it a priority and get it running again. The how-to class had a great instructor in there, very good at what he does!! Im not really sure if older kids would enjoy, but tweens on down definitely! Only complaints are a lot of fast talking and assumptions that we should know where things are and how the place works. Overall, I would recommend it!

Located conveniently near the parking garage end of the mall with individuals giving directions to Legoland and Sea Life. It does feel small for the price, but every inch is engaging for the kids, and they dive right in. You can be hands-on with the kids or sit down and be patient while the y puzzle and build. My great grandson ricocheted safely around the indoor playground for what seemed forever. They do have a supervisor there. He purchased the virtual ride, and he did enjoy that. The environment was bright, colorful, loud, clean, and well managed. The built exhibits are replicas of San Antonios most iconic buildings and are worth every penny of admission alone. As an added bonus, they alternate day and night lighting for the best photographic opportunities. Overall a very positive experience.

The VR race was pretty neat but for $7 bucks extra should last longer than 3 mins considering you had to wait in line for 15 . The first room where they have built a replica of San Antonio was really cool, would be awesome if they had four or five rooms with each major city in Texas in it. The combo for the Sea Life exhibit was a good bargain for the price and the family had a lot of fun. Over all for the price it was ok glad went went but would not return.

We visited Legoland San Antonio during our Spring Break. My kids love Lego and were super excited about this experience. The facility itself was super dusty and very unkempt. The staff at the entrance are very welcoming, which is a total rouse as when you get up to the discovery center the staff are less than thrilled to be there and even less helpful with answering questions. Frankly I can handle all that, but I have a real problem paying full price for an experience when 3 of the 4 main attractions were closed. The Kingdom Quest ride, the 4D movie, and the Creative lab were all closed. Ironically, the VR experience was open (but you had to pay extra for that LOL). We spend a lot of money on Lego products and were really disappointed that this was the experience Lego has to offer their customers. Dont let the fancy advertisements fool you, and definitely call the day of to see if the attractions promised will be open.

Good place for the kids. Not impressed with the entrance to the exibit. Last legoland I visited had evryone show up a thier assigned time and everyone watched an entertaining video on how legos were made. This entrance people did not seem enthusiastic, telling you to go to the elevator and go to the 4th floor. When you arrived, one person at the end of the hall yelled down to follow the blue prints. Kids liked some of the interaction stations in the main exhibit. Kids liked the play area and building cars. Tried to attend the creation workshop at 1 pm, but it was full. The one at 2 interfered with the 4D movie time. But it also looked to full. One ride was broken, and kids were a little down. The 4D movie was not 100% 4D. No 4D glasses. The show we watched didnt seem to have all aspects of the effects working correctly. The activity package was very disappointing. I received one page of stickers that didnt seem to mesh with the activity robot book and a plastic pin.
