Our first experience at iHop and it was disappointing. Cutlery, mugs and plates still had dirt residue from previous customers. I showed the waiter, who was embarrassed and apologetic. We left because the hygiene was so poor already and we were not about to try their food.

I think I literally got someone elses order, not the I ordered, got instead of , I didnt receive the hash browns for which I even paid extra, I never ordered but received in 2 dishes. The only thing that got right is the oreo shake. Also I said no , but obviously I received it, good job! Also made the doordash driver wait a long time for this incorrect order, 1 driver also changed, 2nd one waited so long. I like IHOP but unfortunately this is the nearest branch

I used to come here with my grandma a lot about 10 years ago and the service was good along with the food. Im definitely sad to say that for the past 5 years every time I ve come here the service has been very poor. The food is good if you feel like waiting 45 min for a table and an additional hour for your food. Not me. We made it to another restaurant and received our food within 15 after being seated. Someone needs to fix this please.

Came for breakfast, party of 5 and a baby. 3 of us arrived first and they refused to seat us. The rude lady said not gunna waste our time until entire party is there. All we want was coffee while we wait 10minutes for the rest. The made us wait 10minutes After our party was All there. Then messed up our orders and threw the bill down before we had even finished eating. When i went to restroom I saw all the servers huddled in the back on their phones,half the restaurants tables were filled with dirty dishes and people were waiting. As a very regular customer, I am disappointed in the new management and please train your staff on manner. If you have ridiculous rules. POST them, again this visit wasnt on a weekend or during prime hours. DO BETTER

I sincerely apologize for this negative review but I must. Please keep in mind I believe this young gentleman was waiting tables alone, potentially with no busy boy. The waiter was very pleasant and this review has nothing to do with him. After waiting a few minutes (not too long) I was seated. The waiter took my drink order and he promptly went to grab it. It was right then I saw a huge roach crawling on the seat at the empty table to my right, I gasped and a family at a nearby table turned to look at what the commotion was (I have a fear of roaches). The man stated there s a huge bug! And the woman got up, grabbed her chancla and squashed it like a hero. Now I had just left a late doctors appointment and I was heavily sedated for a procedure on my ears, but that did not stop the anxiety that welled up in me. I wanted to leave but I was (quite stupidly so) terrified someone would get upset with me (I am very silly, I know I m an adult and go as I please but I believe the medicine impacted my judgement). I stuck around and sat anxiously awaiting my food. I ordered the Colorado with spinach and mushrooms (usually my favorite) with the pancakes as the side. As I chowed down every bite made me feel sick to my stomach. I wanted to stop but ultimately forked down a portion of my meal because I am so STUPID and have terrible anxiety. On the way home I had to pull over because I was so sick. I ended up wrenching on the side of the road. So overdramatic and stupid, I know. This wouldn t have happened if only the primary location I go to was open! They closed at 10 pm because of low staffing. (I like the staff at the one near Lakeline and 183, they are always very pleasant). Still, I tipped my server and left a good portion of my food untouched. I don t know if I ll go back to ihop after this, it s very much tainted my experience. Especially with all the dirty dishes laying around, there had to have been three or four dirty tables. I know this man was working hard, I just wish they d have closed on account of staffing too. Much better than a negative experience. Sorry for the lengthy, negative review. I ve attached pictures, and my hands were shaking when I got a picture of the roach so sorry it s low quality.

The food was living lavish tonight!!! My family was pleased and we are completely stuff. I m definitely giving a shout out to presentations from the chefs in the back. As well as to our waiter Lamont, he personally deserves a high pay raise. He was very nice and he made sure we were satisfied. If you ask me this would be the only IHOP we come to. Service was great, no line no wait and it was clean and on point. Thank you to everyone who worked here. Let the pictures show greatness.

I was here with my girlfriend, we waited for about 5 minutes behind someone before we were sat. There was no greeting or anything and it was oddly silent with no music. We got our drinks and food and then the 1 waiter just disappeared. Then a 3rd party driver walked around the store looking for his food and staring at everyone. The phone also sat and rang for 15 minutes. When the waiter came back out he looked very upset and tucked his hands down his pants to tuck his shirt I guess . And then finally answers the phone after an annoyingly long time with every other table looking for him as well. He then rudely gave us the bill and didn t come back at all. I had to call him for a to go box for my clearly not eaten food. No service at all, and a terrible environment. Low stars for food because it was lukewarm and not fresh it felt like.

The restaurant was empty. I was greeted with the most unpleasant look by the waiter. I should have left. I ordered my food. My food came out really fast but it wasnt hot. Im confused because the food looks fresh. The pancakes were luke warm so I ate them. When he ask me was I okay? I just ask for the check. I paid for the food and left. The customer service made the experience worse because I didnt even feel comfortable letting him know the food was cold because I think he cooked it. I didnt see anybody but him. I predict IHOP wont be around much longer. Sad because I always loved their breakfast.

The one star is only because I ve got nothing to judge this visit by. The atmosphere one star is because of the Dirty mop, water smell at the front door. The one star for Service is something I can talk about. We got there around 1 o clock. I guess wait at the receiving desk I guess no less than four employees walked by. Nobody said good morning hello how are you? Nobody said be right with you. Nobody even acknowledged you were there, I looked at my wife and proclaimed the diet and the exercising must be because I m so thin now nobody can see me. So truly, my one star rating has nothing to back it up. Except I get this growing feeling that as I write this review if I was doing it while standing it there, place wait here please I would still be standing there. Because of arthritis I use talk to text and obviously not everything I said was translated correctly. That s not IHOP s fault.

Writing this on 5/27, the bathroom sheet hasn t been checked since the 20th and the bathroom looks like it hasn t been cleaned since then. I was one of the first customers in this morning and the bathroom was truly nasty, it was so humid and smelled of mold throughout the restaurant I had flashbacks to post-Harvey water damage, and while service was speedy we did get forgotten about multiple times and had to track someone down to pay. When we left there were maybe four other tables and 5 waitresses around. So idk, it was just an exceedingly dirty and ignored diner trip.

Incredibly horrible service. Hispanic waitress only waited on the other hispanic family and wouldn t even make eye contact with me and my partner. Which I didn t think was race influenced at first until it became super obvious. She fought me on my order when I asked for extra bacon, which could have been a language barrier but was still really rude. Forgot the powdered sugar to his french toast and when he nicely asked for some powdered sugar she got it and then rudely took it out of his hand and sprinkled the smallest amount before leaving. Didn t check on us once, we were super thirsty and I couldn t even get her attention because of how bad she was ignoring us to even get water. Pancakes were super burnt. I ve been a waitress at Ihop, there were like 3 tables to serve, it s not hard Wanted to come here for a late night birthday dinner.. thanks for nothing.

Stopped here with the family around 130pm the place was empty with a few Senior citizens dining. We could hear the employees in the back kitchen laughing and goofing. Waited around 10 minutes to get a table without a single person behind or ahead of us while 2 tables were occupied. Once at the table, the server left the menu walked away, and joined the crowd in the back. Waited at the table for another almost 10 mins and walked out. If at all possible, stay away from this location. Unfortunately, all IHOPS within 5 miles radius has no more than 3.7 stars and now I understand why. Maybe its the area manager who needs to be disciplined. Cant keep blaming the students if everyone is failing so must be the teacher.

11:38 AM, April 16th 2024. 2 women, guy waiting for his pick up order, another lone man waiting to be seated. 13 minutes later, lone guy gets up to leave, hostess shows up and says,Oh, I was just about to seat you. He just shook his head and went out the door.Tables near entry were totally empty. We passed by 1 table that had take away boxes, 1 had nothing, (drinks etc), next had their food, next looked as if they were finished. Seated at first table at corner front work station behind wall. I asked if the long wait was an indication that our food was going to take a long time, and she, (hostess), says Oh, I was bagging up that guys to go order in a very condescending manner. It was literally 1 bag. Since my daughter dont appreciate being talked to in that manner, I got up, stuck my head around the service area wall, and asked to speak to the manager. She and, (I presume a waitress), were chatting and I asked to speak to the manager, she says, I am the manager, so I told her we did not appreciate being talked to so rudely and were leaving. She says, Okay, have a blessed day very cheerfully. With such terrible service, it explained why there were only 4 tables at lunchtime. Mind you there were several, dirty tables all around us. NEVER AGAIN.

So over the past two years every single time we try to eat here it is a bad experience. We arrived last night (Friday) around 9:45 pm. The front doors were locked with customers inside. We were turned away as well as another family with a small child. We were allowed when other customers were leaving. A server told us that they were under staffed and waiting for another server to arrive before accepting more customers. So I asked when that was? The server told us they were not sure when the next server would arrive. Could be 10 pm could be 10:30 pm. How do you not know when people are due on shift? Previously on one of our visits before chefs threw a fit in the kitchen and decided to quit so they had to close the restaurant and everyone had to leave. This was the first time in about 6+ months we tried to go and as always let us down.

Its advertised as 24 hrs but its online orders only. We got there to dine in but the dining area was closed so they told us to order through the website and wait outside. The website wasnt even working and kept giving an error so we had to call someone to come outside and take the order. While we were waiting outside for the food, we saw like a dozen people come and leave disappointed because it wasnt 24 hour dining. Theyre losing customers because of false advertising. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and it is just sad, not what it used to be. Theres like one chocolate chip per pancake. They didnt offer whipped cream so the pancakes are dry AF. Gross

We visited IHOP today. The wait line was not long. Once we were waited on and gave our order, the food came out promptly. The restaurant was clean. The food was good, even the waffles. The wait staff was loud and having personal conversations that could heard from the kitchen. We received our bill, BUT had to go to the kitchen to get attention of our waiter to pay. On knocking several times since I already saw someone inside he came outside with an order and we told him we are not here to pick up an order, but here to dine-in. Upon arriving at the IHOP location, I noticed that the door was locked and had to be let in by someone working for DoorDash. I learned that there was only one employee working at the location, who was managing the orders of a family and several online orders. Despite the challenging circumstances, the employee was honest, pleasant, and apologetic, and offered an extended wait time for food. However, I believe that the management could do a better job of supporting their staff and providing the service that IHOP is known for. I suggest that the staff member be given a raise in recognition of their hard work, and that additional employees be hired to assist during busy times, particularly on weekends. Overall, I miss the experience of dining at IHOP, and I hope that these issues can be addressed soon.

Multiple employees standing around in back while customers up font are ignored and waiting for up to 20 minutes with no attention at all. Paid-for, completed online orders sitting in back getting cold for up to half an hour while the customers who ordered them wait, ignored, up front. Online order accepted and payment taken for a standard breakfast item (waffle) despite being out of waffle batter, with no indication or communication of the outage, even when finally being handed the food. Refusal of a prompt corresponding refund: If you can gladly take my money in 5 to 7 MINUTES for something you dont actually have, refusing a refund for 5 to 7 DAYS is inexcusable. Not an isolated incident with regard to inattentive or missing staff or extra delays well beyond the stated expected pick up time for online orders. Ive given multiple 2nd chances, but Ive finally had enough. Ill never be back to this location. Worst iHOP ever.

IHOP experience has gone seriously down hill since early 2021. We were behind a lady that had party of 12 and they were provided service just as soon as they sat down, where other tables had been waiting 10-15 mins at least. Turns out the hostess that sat them down was the same person that was gonna wait on them Once the large party was seated the hostess never came back. We waited 10-15 mins just to be seated, then waited 10 mins to get our drinks. Not coming here again...the service is HORRIBLE!!!

Spring 2024: Staffing is back to a good level and they now have an overnight cook, so they are back to being open 24 hrs. My recent visit was during a lunch rush, but I still received good service and hot food. ---- Summer 2023 review: The restaurant is severely understaffed. Because of that, they cant stay open 24 hours. the overnight, so they are not open 24 hours. A server explained this to me. My breakfast had everything: pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage. It was way too much food for me! The time I was there it was also all you could eat pancakes, which applied here. My pancakes were perfect IHOP pancakes--soft and fluffy. My French toast was huge--bigger than Texas toast! The bacon and sausages were cooked well. The bacon was firm. And the sausages were links, not patties. The fruit lemonade I ordered (cant recall the flavor) had fruit syrupy juice at the bottom. I dont know if it was on purpose or a mistake--but my refill was the same. I mixed it, and it tasted ok.

Coffee had something floating in it, no apology from waitress....she didnt seem concerned or surprised. Pancakes, which what I really was wanting were okay. When the waitress brought our check the bill had $.012 change on it and she rounded up. I left and my husband paid. He told me he handed her the money and she asked if he wanted change. Needless to say he did not tip. If the change is 50 cents you round up, if the change is less than that you round down. Service sure isnt what it used to be. Cone on young people do the work. Older people will appreciate you and it way more if you attempt to care

Came in for my usual breakfast, it was on point. Aaron was my server, very attentive and organized, he handled several tables on his own, I commended him for that and his great attitude. Come check it out when in Cedar Park. Food

I think I speak for most of us when I say we expect sub par service when visiting an IHOP location. It could be from a multitude of factors, understaffing, poor management, etc.. but ultimately it s par for the course for this mediocre chain. But nothing could prepare me for the absolute disaster of an experience that this location provided me today when I tried to pick up a simple one meal order. To keep this from being an entire journal on the cluster F that this place was and or is, I ll just say that if you want lose almost two hours of your morning waiting on overpriced cold mediocre food with poor service, than this is the location for you! They could offer me free pancakes for life and I d still never come back here.

I was used to going to Ihop for a good meal and fun atmosphere. It has been 20 plus years since I stepped into one. Wow the quality of the food has gone from 8 to 0. My mom myself and niece went on Saturday night and my goodness, the food we were served was so nasty we didnt even eat it. 78 dollars plus tip wasted. We ordered the breakfast scramble /Bacon burger/Philly Cheesesteak and two crepes to go. The food actually smelled. Stank. My niece could not even take one bite. I ate two bites of my burger and when I smelled her food started coughing and got sick to my stomach and left mine alone. My mom ordered eggs fried hard and they came out runny. The milkshake I ordered was so thin and tasteless. Never again!

Tried calling in a take out order and after several minutes of no answer I hung up. I went inside to place the order and I asked if they have a phone and the guy said no. The vibe at this location is sad and gloomy. No music and only 2 staff on the floor. Also, I heard a baby crying in the kitchen it s very clear no one is actually managing this place.

Very short seats + minimal room between table & seat = very difficult to get up & I out (no i am not obese, but am very tall). And I forgot to mention the Disabled Parking.....Only 2 spots? But there were 4 Curbside parkibg spots right next to them that were obviously Disabled Parking before but had been restriped and converted over to Curbside. I wonder if they even even meet the 1 per 25 ADA legal requirements now.

Kara I think was here name, who said she was shift leader on Feb 5th 2022, was the most unprofessional server Ive encountered in years. 1st she explained and complained, how she had to clear her own tables. Then complained what a horrible place IHOP was to work for, how under paid she was and more. When I told her I dont care to hear her personal problems she told me I was rude and she wasnt going to serve me. I was glad to hear it, because I didnt come here to listen to this ungrateful persons issues. Therefore, we left. I will not return to this location with servers who feel they need to divulge their personal problems.

Terrible experience with a long wait to be seated and the timeliness of the food delivered took a lot longer than expected (45+min). Clearly the restaurant is short staffed, and you can feel the vibe and behavior from the employees as they manage the tables. Did NOT obtain the value from the service nor the food / drink as our waiter did not check in on us to see how everything tasted and our coffee was not refilled from our first cup of coffee. The restaurant is desperately needing a management shift and the owner needs to highly consider what needs to be changed to enhance the client experience. We will not be returning back to this location.

Went in today with family. Even though it was Christmas therefore expected to be slightly busy it really wasnt at all. There were 20+ open tables and it took us 30 minutes to get seated. When seated one waitress was only managing 2 tables. Many other tables around us sad down, got their drinks, food and check by the time we even got our drinks (after 20+ minutes). They had plenty of folks they were just no working...the entire staff even left at one point to take a picture out front. Wasnt a huge issue given it was Christmas however poor timing. Thanks for being open on Christmas IHOP however we will just cook at home in the future.

**Update** So if you look at all their poor reviews youll notice they reach out and ask you contact them to fix the issue. Its been one week and I havent heard a word for them so dont that as an indication that they care to fix your experience. Placed an order for curbside and received a text asking to let them know when I was coming so the food would be ready, so I did that. Arrived on time and sat there for 10 minutes(so much for letting them know I was coming) and no one came out to the truck. I went in to get the order which the hostess went to get, so it was ready but no one had brought it out. I get home and half the order is missing. We were missing a whole order of pancakes, an extra hash browns we had ordered on the side and no dipping sauce for cinnamon bites so they were just overcooked $6 dough balls.

Don t say open 24/7 if your not. Based off of other reviews this is common here it says 24/7 without any indication they close early it s 9:10pm and the doors are locked. I have been to this location twice. At first I thought I was unlucky: took me long to get seated, server took 20 minutes to show up. Food took 40 minutes to show up. Servers would avoid eye contact after you are waiting long as they know you are having a bad experience. Meanwhile I noticed tons of to go orders rushing out of the kitchen. Manager clearly doesn t want people seating in their restaurants as they rather please the app clients more. Not servers fault, definitely, the servers are doing their best on a business that is being boycotted by its own management. Food was good too. Dont go there during meal hours unless you have 2+ hours to spend. Not exaggerating
