Morgan's Wonderland

About the Company

rating: 4.8

Everyday we work to provide a special place where smiles and laughter lead to wonderful memories with family members, friends and caregivers. We want Morgan’s Wonderland to be a place where the common element of play creates an atmosphere of inclusion for those with and without disabilities, encouraging everyone to gain a greater understanding of one another. Morgan’s Wonderland is just like any other theme park except for a culture and environment that assures 100 percent enjoyment by every person who enters through the Welcome Center. Unfortunately, countless children and adults with special needs do not have access to facilities that enable them to fully enjoy outdoor recreation. Morgan’s Wonderland has begun to change that.

We went on Sunday. It is a great experience from the moment you arrive, they serve you very friendly, few people in the place and that is pleasant, little noise, many attractions to have fun with the family, super inclusive, we really enjoyed it as a family, my child has ASD and a place like this was needed. Thank you very much to all the employees for everything, they made us feel at home. The beautiful lake, water area, carousel, Ferris wheel everything. Highly recommended for neuro diverse families. A thousand blessings

One of the best parks ive been to. Very inclusive. The perfect amentaties for my 2 year old son who had tbi at birth. BEWARE though. Some parents who come are willing to steal toys from the playground. My son brought his new montertruck toy to the park. It took 15 minutes of playing on the playground for it to disappear. Another 20 minutes searching for it. No one turned it on at the end of the day. There werent many people there so I think I know which parent took it. Makes me lose a little faith in humanity. What kind of parent are you to steal a toy from a special needs child?

We had so much fun. Spent Saturday and Sunday. The weather was great. No wait on Sunday for rides. Relaxed and enjoyable environment. So many nice shady places to sit rest and relax. Prices for food were pretty reasonable for a theme park too. Splash pads were amazing too! Thank you for a great place for our kids to be able to enjoy.

I cant say enough good/ GREAT things about this place!! This was our( mine, my special needs daughter and special needs son) first time to go! We live in Oklahoma City and after this visit want to save back and try to make it a yearly trip! I dont know where to start on this review. First off its the only place in the US Im aware of that is totally handicapped assailable! I mean everything! Second the rides are operated by special needs personnel. Some have help. The atmosphere is so calm and friendly. My children felt special not outcast. The prices are more than fair. Just wonderful. Amazing if youve never been PLEASE check it out. It wont disappoint!! My children want to move to San Antonio because of all the amazing things they have to offer due to Morgans wonderland for special needs.

Its a great place but when on the rides make sure you are strapped right it was my first time on the zipline so I had no idea what to expect or how we were supposed to be strapped in I new something was not right the whole time turned out I was right because we were not strapped into the ride correctly we only had the lap belt on the chest was not put on us we were not on the ride securely that could have been so dangerous for my entire family luckily we did not fall off . Just make sure you got all your seat belts on . And we paid for a cabana with cold water included no one ever came to check on us or give us cold water till we hunted them down multiple times to ask for cold water which was finally given to us once we were leaving.. outside of those things it was nice.

This was my fourth visit to this park. It s a gem in San Antonio, and the nation really. If you re looking for six flags level of activity and thrill (or chaos?), this isn t the place. I love to take my three kids here. Plenty of space to play, a few rides with low intensity. You can bring in your own food and drinks which is nice. The employees are just so wonderful. We enjoyed talking with Mr. Tony at the train station today! Today s visit was our first time to inspiration island and it was great! No lazy rivers or pools, - just different style splash pads to play at. The entire park is easy to navigate and for now, while my kids are smaller (ages 3-7) we enjoy coming here, we love that it s all inclusive! It should be a national standard honestly! Morgan s wonderland you re doing something great.

We went on the weekend & it was really nice! Less crowded than most places & a decent amount to do. There are not too many rides, but the waits arent bad. The playground area is big & has a lot of different activities. The water park side was a few different splashpads to choose from and a water boat ride.

Booked a birthday party back in July. One of the indoor venues reserved. Very disappointed to arrive and be told the AC wasnt working. The workers suggested we either change to one of their outdoor venues or leave the doors open. They brought in 1 fan. As guest arrived and after about 18 minutes, the temp inside was reaching 88 degrees. WE were the ones who had to request the larger indoor venue. They agreed and of course charged a higher rate. The room we left had gotten so hot, the icing on the birthday cake was melting!

I really liked this park and the tranquility of being able to walk around without a large crowd. I hope this park grows with more attractions. I feel like it has potential for more things to do. I took two stars off because the train was not available to ride and it was something my son wanted, from then on he didnt want to do anything else. Later he agreed to do various activities.

I want to share my experience at this amusement park. I went on a Thursday morning. Parking was free. My child with autism had free admission. There was not a lot people and there were no lines on any of the rides. We got to ride the same rides several times with rarely anyone on them. We went to lunch and came back at 1pm and it was the same thing as no crowds. I recommend this park to those with special needs and families. The people assisting the rides have disabilities and are doing their best to assist the rides. The low reviews were the reason I doubt coming here but I m glad I ignored them and still came.

We love going to Morgans Wonderland! We always take our own picnic lunch to enjoy at the park. The only thing that I am disappointed about is that they recently changed their year memberships and what they come with. Before you used to be able to bring a guest for free with a season pass. Now you can only bring one guest one time with the season pass. We liked the idea of being able to bring out of town family with us and introduce them to the park as our guests, but now we cant bring in guests anymore. I hope they would make that an option again or increase the one time price of their season pass to accommodate free guests.

We used to love it here. My boys have ASD and used to love coming to play. Unfortunately, they redid the sensory area so a lot of what they used to love was downsized or removed. Our youngest is also still nursing. The nursing room was locked, then when we were able to use it, it had a very strong odor and was poorly ventilated. It was so hot my daughter couldnt eat comfortably. We looked for the nursing room because an employee in the sensory village told me I was not allowed to nurse her there.

I was torn on whether to give it a three or four star review. I want to start off by saying that the accessibility is amazing. It truly is a play place for everyone. There are no limitations at all. They truly have thought about everything. Changing tables for all sizes and harnesses to help rinds that need a little more support and even head supports. So here is where my but comes in... buy it does feel a bit limited on age range, the 16 year old and friend I came with enjoyed the park but felt like it really was for kids up to age 12. So there was a little disappointment there. Other things that we noticed a lot of attractions seemed to be out of order or parts of it. The carousel had several seats out of order, the flying bikes had bikes out of order, the train was down, the theater was down, and the splash pads had tons of water features that were not working. A few things I noticed as an adult, all of the water pressure was low, and some of the fountains didnt work. Also, there werent many water bottle fill-up stations, and only one we came across worked. We spent two days playing and having a great time. But the park could use a little more maintenance.

We went after it rained and got the jackpot! It was cool for July and no crowds. We were able to get in each ride as soon as we walked up. My niece and nephew lived the Waterpark. The only thing I will recommend is that they have better ways to block off and monitor the entrance. If you have young children (especially young or special needs) and they tend to run off fast, if you arent quick, they could easily get out of the Waterpark area. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful to us.

I had a horrible experience with one of the employees at the zipline. She was very rude to us and everyone else including a elderly lady. She was like they cant get up because hes a volunteer. She even turned her back and ignored. All because my shirt says volunteer. I ended up leaving early before my shift ended. I decided to quit volunteering today. It was my last day volunteering at Morgans Wonderland. The supervisor didnt care at all and was very rude as well.

We brought our 24 yr old daughter with Down syndrome, 7 yr granddaughter, and 5 yr grandson both with Autism from Crowley to Morgans Wonderland to celebrate our 7-year-old birthday My husband and I loved the park and idea behind it. Its beautiful and the staff is great. Our 24 yr old was not impressed, as she prefers to be in water and not have it splash on her. Our 5 yr old who generally loves splash pads was done when the life guard got onto him about going down the slide right after his sister; she was still in the slide. So we had a 5 yr old in tears within the first 20 minutes of being there. I put us at a table right by the restrooms; however, they were being cleaned, or Im not really sure. The four guys who were supposed to be cleaning them were standing around just taking and laughing. I used the mens restroom, as they cleaned that one first (go figure). Our 7 yr old enjoyed herself. She made friends and played with younger kids. I would recommend this to families with younger kids, but not adults like my daughter or ones who dont like water splashing in their face.

This place is great for kids ages 2-4, regardless of whether they are disabled. It is SOO much easier than the mega parks. You just park your car in a regular lot, walk 10 feet and go in. We had zero lines in 2 days and most of the rides are at the kids level at that age. The splash pad was amazing and we have splash pads in our community. If your child is disabled this place is even better. You are in a place with accepting staff and patrons and the rides are accessible. Oh and it was cheap. We bought a season pass for $55, I got 2 free days for my wife because of the pass. My disabled daughter was free and my 2 year old also free!

Fantastic! We were pleasantly suprised with every detail. The biggest surprise was them having a wheelchair valet in the water park that swaps your non-waterproof, powered chair with a waterproof chair so the water park attractions can be enjoyed. We enjoyed every attraction! Parking was free. Restrooms were large and clean

Ive been here two times now, once about 4 years ago and then last weekend, and it is an AMAZING park for people of any and all abilities; the staff are honestly the best people on this planet (say hi to Steven at the carousel; hes the nicest person Ive ever met tbh), and for those who dont get in free, its VERY worth it to buy the regular park + water park ticket; theres no pool, but the water areas are SO great; I dont have pics of them because I had nowhere to put my phone safely in the water areas, but trust me! ANYONE will enjoy a great time here; once youre in, no rides or anything cost extra (food/drinks/souvenirs/etc do ofc but its not nearly as pricey as SeaWorld or Six Flags, and everything goes to the park itself and to disabled people in general). Also, their water fountains are always very very cool, almost cold really, even when its 100° out, plus you can fill up water bottles and stuff at them. Literally cant recommend this place more; 20/10 recommended, up, 10/5 s, etc etc. (Feel free to ask me questions about it if you need more specific info; everyone deserves to get to go here and Morgans Wonderland deserves to have everyone go to it)

What a fun experience! My nephews absolutely loved the water park! We spent most of our day there. We also really enjoyed the new zip line, as well as the new 4D ride. It was quite an experience. Theres plenty to do for all! It was never packed to the point where we couldnt enjoy ourselves. Theres plenty of room and so much to do. I suggest you wear water shoes. They do have lockers if you need them. There are concession stands around the park. We cant wait to go again! Shout out to Captain of the boat! **Bonus: you can bring your own ice chest with drinks, snacks, food etc.**

Wonderful park and splash pad. Parking can be a challenge when other events are also happening at the surrounding venues though. Staff is joyful, kind, and helpful. Park is clean and rightfully designed.

This place is incredible. Theres so much to do without getting heat stroke which is impressive for Texas. Having two toddlers, this place has been a godsend. Theres water but no pools to worry about, spacious bathrooms, and the friendliest staff.

Loved this inclusive, accessible amusement and water park! We took 2 of our friends with disabilities-one with Down Syndrome and another with Spina Bifida that uses an electric wheelchair. Rides were accessible and so much fun!! Both got in for free and as an adult accompanying them, I paid $34 for both parks. The water park was so fun! Loved the splash pads, slides, etc. It was in the 90s when we visited yesterday, but they have shaded spots, fans, etc. Food and drink prices were very reasonable. All of the Staff were kind helpful, and friendly

Great atmosphere for small kids and kids with special needs to play in a multi splash pad park as well as several playgrounds that are all extremely accessible if you needed. Merry go round, event center, snack bars, outdoor Pavillion for bday parties and some simple rides, all in all a good time for young family members.

Excellent experience for our toddler with Autism and his younger brother. Areas for running, splashing, digging, riding, and playing. Low wait times, plenty of space, and music that was not too loud made this a great time for our family to have fun together.
