First time at B&B Butchers. We have been to the Butcher Shop next door before, and had a great experience there. First the pluses. Service. Service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable, and attentive. The Crab Louie was fantastic. A beautiful balance of sweet crab meat, crunchy asparagus, creamy avocado, briny sour capers, tomatoes, eggs, and hearts of palm. Also of note was the Snake River Farms Pork Chop. Huge, tender and tasteful, The pineapple glaze was mouthwatering, just from the smell. Would have liked a few more of the glazed Granny Smiths. my companions truly enjoyed their cocktails. The Summer Margarita, and the Texas Old Fashioned. Minuses. One of my compaions found the B&B Steak House Salad under seasoned, and the filet mignon a bit overcooked/chewy. While the Strozzapreti Genovese was beautiful to look at, and all of the ingredients were well represented. Overall it also was under seasoned. Would love to have an upsell option of bacon, as an add on. Overall still a great first experience, will definately be back. Parking: Though there is a parking garage 2 blocks away. Parking near the restaurant, might take a few spins around the block to find a space close.

Literally the worst steak I have had. Food is grossly overpriced and simply not high quality. In an attempt to balance my highly negative review, I would like to compliment to the waitstaff as being friendly, timely and overall good. Ordered a NY strip steak Medium. Came back Raw. Not even cooked. Couldn t send it back as I was with company where I couldn t complain or say anything. Ordered two side dishes. They were simply disgusting. Head chef couldn t boil water correctly. Just simply disgusting food. And adding insult to injury, it was the 2nd most expensive meal I ever had. I wouldn t feed this garbage to a stray dog. Avoid this place at all costs.

Everything about our experience from the water to the dessert was amazing. Service is spectacular and thank you to Clarissa and Christian (I hope the names are correct) for your kindness and professionalism.

My wife and I went out on a whim Sunday and the service and atmosphere did not disappoint. We had a very pleasurable dining experience. The beef wellington was good but a little over cooked. They did offer to bring new ones. I was still satisfied. They insisted on a free dessert which was very very good. I would recommend coming here for any occasion. Our waitress was top notch and made our dining experience even that much better. Our waitress Depp was amazing and really took care of us.

Will not be returning, expected better quality in food for the prices. There are better places to go eat for a good steak. I brought the steaks home for my dogs and they didnt even want to eat it.

Absolutely deserving of a night out. The best table service Ive ever had. The food was all cooked to absolute perfection and complimented each other well. Wait staff readily knew the menu and suggestions for pairings. Incredible evening. Do ask for Kyle if you go!!! Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating to allergies and restrictions. Parking: There is a Valet service if youd like, and a free parking garage nearby. Kid-friendliness: Not a kid friendly environment. Geared more towards a kid free night out. Wheelchair accessibility: Step free (parking garage has elevator access but lots of steps).

Bottom Line - this place is expensive but ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The service, quality of food, portion size, and general atmosphere were phenomenal. Food / Portion Size: The steak and ribeye literally melt in your mouth! My girlfriend got the filet while I got the bone in Ribeye. The afilet was cooked perfectly to rare and my ribeye was cooked perfectly to medium! Absolutely amazing taste and quality without any need of salt or pepper. We also order Mac and cheese, fully loaded mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. When they said the sides were shareable, we did not expect the portion to be that big to share. We were absolutely full when finished eating! Definitely ate enough calories for the whole day! Service: Our waiter was Brad, he was amazing and down to earth and made some amazing suggestion. Another waitet that helped us a lot and boxed our food was Lauren. She was super sweet and has the voice of an angel. Gina is one of the managers and she stopped by and was super nice and friendly. We shared in some laughs. Konnor is another manager, and he is super awesome!! Loves anime and is a dude youd have fun grabbing a beer with. Our experience was made top tier thanks not just to the food but to the people and attention to service that was given. Adult Beverages: We got a bottle of champagne for mimosas and that one bottle had us feeling GOOD! My girlfriend ordered it so I cant specify the name off the top of my head, but it was absolutely delicious! Price: EXPENSIVE! So be aware! However, the quality, quantity, and taste justify the price so its an even trade off. My bone in Ribeye was $75, the Filet was $65, and each side was about $15 per, with some fresh bread being $12. Our bill came out to $214.65 without the champagne, but again, it was money well spent, and we would return in the future! Atmosphere: Nicely decorated and relaxing. The only constructive criticism would be to diversify the music Playlist. They played kind of soft oldies which is exactly the environment, but there are soft oldies from other American artist that could be included in the shuffle if you get my jam. However, it was an absolutely beautiful environment and the restrooms have those thick paper towels and mouth wash for customers to use (fancy lol). Final Points - I am thankful for running into Konnor as a stranger. He recommended this spot to us, and it turns out he was a manager there. This place did not disappoint and I feel that it was money well spent! Parking: This place is located within an outlet mall kind of environment, so during busy hours it can be hard to find parking. So a safe bet is the parking garage!

I decided to give this place a second try. The service is impeccable. The appetizer crab claws were generous in portion, fresh, and delicious. We ordered the Beef Wellington and Lamb Chops for the main entree. Beef Wellington was not memorable due to the flavor. Probably not the chefs fault. Maybe its an English seasoning thing that we werent accustomed with... Lamb chops were cooked medium rare as I had requested. It was seasoned well and delicious. I would definitely order it again. Our ever attentive server recommended the chocolate cake for dessert. Im not a huge fan of chocolate cake. But, Im glad she did. It was the best chocolate cake I had anywhere. Im happy the restaurant got rid of the 3% credit card sur charge. Thank you B&B for listening to your customers. We hope to return in the near future... ++Original Review++ Went for our anniversary dinner. Service was nice. Food was okay. Nothing spectacular for the price. For such an upscale restaurant, we did not appreciate having to pay for bread when most other upscale steakhouses offer it as complimentary. Probably wouldn t have left this review until I noticed an additional 3% credit card surge charge on top of my dinner bill. We will not be returning.

A $15 BLT should have enough (what they call) bacon to cover the entire 4 corners of the toast. Sandwich was cut into 4 triangle pieces with only 50% coverage on 3 pieces, the last piece barely had any bacon on it. Also had what they told me was Gumbo. Definitely not gumbo, although descent in taste they should not represent it as gumbo. So a very poor BLT and a small bowl of soup (another $15 for the soup) came to a total of $33 including tax. No drink I just had water. Very overpriced for a far below average sandwich and soup. The wait staff was very polite and atmosphere was nice. Very disappointed and will not recommend to anyone looking for a meal at a price which reflects its quality.

The food is between good and great if that makes sense.. lol.. I was excited to try the food here so I got a variety of things. First, do not get the oysters unless you want to eat the shell. Second, skip the bread if you don t like really doughy bread. Third, don t get anything with bacon, it s dry and you will be chewing for at least 3 business days. With that said, the meatballs were delicious! The pork chop and crab cakes (though it looks dry as hell) was juicy and flavorful. I ordered regular macaroni & cheese but they brought lobster instead. The server was professional and knowledgeable about the menu so I kindly pointed out the mix up and he comped our drinks. He also walked us completely out of the restaurant from the top floor when we left. Not sure if that s a good thing or bad thing.. lol.. Overall, it s a beautifully decorated, loud restaurant, with over priced good but not great food.

They added such a sweet touch to the meal & they were so delicious it was my motivation for coming back frequently. Well they decided to cut corners and get rid of it for another appetizer you have to pay for. We loved brunch here so much we would order two appetizers on top of the complimentary brunch pastries, now that they took it away, don t think I ll ever be visiting again even though the food is good. Not the same as it used to be. I dont know when or why, but they are attempting to price themselves above and beyond their actual quality. $12 for bread service? Been to a LOT of fine steakhouses, this is the first time I have been charged for bread, and they didnt used to do this. If you want to charge for exotic breads and butters, have at it, but offer people the standard, you are charging enough on everything else to more than cover. Seems like they have removed things from dishes, yet raised prices. No sauce with the steak frites, no bacon in the mac and cheese. We were just totally disappointed in our most recent visit. Future visits will only be for drinks at the bar or their brunch, will be going elsewhere for dinner.

TLDR: I do NOT recommend this establishment. I ate at the FW location with my wife and friends (a sort of double date) on December 31, 2023 with a reservation time of 1530 hrs. We were seated promptly and on time. The service: Our server was Kyle (I think). Kyle was okay. Food and drinks came out timely. He did make a remark about how anyone passing on the mashed potatoes is missing out. My wife and I found that to be a bit off-putting as anyone should be able to choose what they eat without being heckled. But we shrugged it off, thanked Kyle for serving the sides, and continued our conversation with our friends. He also berated...maybe berated is a strong word, more of strongly discouraged us by letting us know to ...never ever use silverware to serve caviar. Well, Kyle, maybe you should have given us more than one ivory(?) spoon with the caviar. Why cant we just eat without someone criticizing our methods? Also, his recommendation on the caviar was bleh. He said for the same price, I recommend [this one], its better. Although, I cannot confirm or deny whether his recommendation was better or worse than my initial selection, I can say Ive had better for the same price. My wife said the same. The food: I ordered the dry-aged wagyu medium rare. This steak came out not just looking greasy, but left a greasy, oily residue after each bite. It lacked of that dry-aged, nutty flavor that one anticipates when ordering a dry-aged steak. Overall, my steak gets a 2/10 star. Such a disappointment. My wife ordered their version of surf and turf, also medium rare on the steak. The utter look of shock on her face when the steak was well-done said it all. I believe it was only 4 oz of steak, she left at least 3 oz on the plate. Moving on to her lobster. One would expect a tender and delicious lobster tail from a restaurant with a reputation like this, but we ended up with a rubbery, eraser-like toughness that made our calamari appetizer feel like a tender filet mignon. 1/10 My friends wife ordered the dry-aged prime rib medium rare. This steak came out at least medium-well. She offered me a piece and I accepted. I can confirm, it was NOT a medium rare steak, but it at least had more of that dry-aged flavor than my steak. 2/10 My friend ordered the beef wellington medium rare. To me, visually, the steak did not look medium rare, I saw no pink/coolness to it. I did not try the beef wellington. My friend said his beef wellington was excellent and he would recommend. 9/10 Id like to speak to the manager: Did we talk to anyone about our food while we were eating? No. We were simply enjoying the conversation among old friends after 2 or 3 years since the last double date. A few times we mentioned some flaws of the meal to each other, but generally the conversation would redirect to our lives. We were genuinely there for conversation, less for the food. So we had our conversations, foods, and drinks, and we ended the evening early. On the way home from B&B Butchers, my wife and I started talking more about the food and the experience with our server. I started to get more and more frustrated with the whole experience. We even felt a little embarrassed that we invited our friends to such a terrible experience. When I got home, I decided I had to at least tell someone at the restaurant about our experience, hoping to prevent it from happening to anyone else. I called and spoke with the General Manager, Gina. Gina and I spoke for maybe 5 minutes and she asked if she could call me the following morning (it was busy dinner service times and I absolutely understood). I agreed, Gina said she has my number, and I have NOT heard from Gina, or anyone, since NYE. Although, I am not sure what could have been done to resolve the situation. I will not accept a refund or a complimentary meal because I will not be returning to B&B Butchers. In closing: I do NOT and would NOT recommend B&B Butchers to anyone. For around the same price, Ill just go back to Del Friscos Double Eagle. Better food, better service.

This restaurant is a great example of becoming complacent. I noticed when I entered the awards/accolades were from a few years back. Not a great sign. Anyway, I drove from College Station to see my son for Fathers Day and we decided to give B&B a try. Now let me say that on the surface, the service seems great. However, we got a couple of appetizers and were disappointed. The ravioli could have come from any forgettable restaurant, it was so bland. The sauce had been overly reduced and tasted like.something you would expect from a can or frozen dinner. The veal we got was good but the A5 dry aged Wagyu for more than $200 was honestly the biggest culinary let down of my life. What made it worse was the assistant managers response when I showed him the pathetic piece of meat and how tough it was. He replied that it was a 50/50 chance whether you got a good one or not. And then had the audacity to recommend other steaks for my next visit. No apologies, no offer to make another one. We left with only a couple of bites taken from it. We also got dessert but it seemed like they werent worried about making an impression with those either. The bill for my son and I was a little over $400 and left such a bad taste in our mouths(both literally and figuratively). My.son felt bad for picking the restaurant and I felt horrible for not taking him somewhere hed truly enjoy. He got a job as an engineer for a company in Fort Worth almost 2 years ago so I dont get to see him as much as Id like. So I like to make the most of my visits. Im blessed that spending that kind of money on food wont affect me but that doesnt make it okay to let food go out that isnt properly prepared. Do yourself a favor and go to a Perrys or Ruths Chris Steakhouse. Its sad that even College Station, TX has better offerings than the highly touted B&B. Please dont go here. The only satisfaction I will have is if I can keep some customers from eating here and being disappointed.

The restaurant is extremely nice, very welcoming atmosphere. The service was terrible especially for the amount of money being spent on dinner. The actual server we had, Aaron, took forever to always come back to take our order for the appetizers, dinner etc. the help he had in between was good though. The crab cakes were very chewy and lacked flavor. For spending 150 on one steak I would ve liked it to be served hot not room temp like it had been sitting for awhile before it came to our table. We waited over 30 minutes after everyone was done eating for our check and to go boxes. For 1013$ before tip, we should ve received hot food and exceptional service.

Everything about B&B is amazing. From the atmosphere to the food and service. Its pricey but worth it imo. We started with a couple appetizers. The meatballs and thick cut bacon. They were so much BIGGER then we thought. Usually up scale restaurants have small servings, Not This Place! Lol. Me and my wife shared a porterhouse for 2 for the main course. We got a medium rare cook and it was cooked to perfection. The meat is definitely on the expensive side but the sides are priced fairly. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed baked potatoes, Mac and cheese as well as some of the steak fries (which were HUGE as well) The wait staff is so attentive when it comes to left overs. They will box it up for you as you finish up or slow down. They were also great about replacing used silverware and cold water to drink. I was very impressed with the level of service. We finished up by sharing a slice of chocolate cake. Which was so tasty. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some very nice cuts of meat. They have kobe and wagyu choices I have my eye set on for the next trip! Treat yourself to a wonderful night of getting stuffed and visit this amazing establishment.

Enjoyed our dinner at B&B. Food was exceptional and we really enjoyed the filet. Service was thoughtful for the most part forgot the oscar topping for my filet and only brought out bearnaise. They offered to correct it but we had already begun eating. Even though they forgot it, it was still on my check and I had to ask them to remove. Simple mistakes but not what you expect at this price point. The atmosphere was lively but not too welcoming and the decor was a little rustic which I guess goes with the butcher theme? If Im paying $80 for a steak, it takes more than white linen... Overall good experience but not great.

The objective was an evening to gather and laugh as we went to Fort Worth to meet for dinner with Emerson, Grayson, and Susan. I had never been to The Shops at Clearfork before, and I will say I am glad everything was closed. We were greeted at the door and shown our large booth to seat the 5 of us comfortably. As the calamari approached the table, I could tell the main course would not disappoint. Deana and I split the Caesar salad ( dont- its so good, you will want the entire thing) Emerson followed suit, Grayson ordered the Wedge, and Susan ordered the tomato and onion salad. The table was filled with various main course dishes: sea bass, filet, chicken, beef wellington, and shrimp and bacon. All exceeded our taste buds expectations.

I stopped in to treat myself to the A5 sandwich. The restaurant was nice and quiet and the server was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Our table had the chicken shank which was moist and juicy and very flavorful as well as the loaded mashed potato s which were amazing and the corn soufflé. The corn soufflé was sweet and was okay, would not order again due to the texture not something I enjoyed. The A5 sandwich was so delicious, the bread was thick and toasty and held up well to the thick and tender steak which had a nice crust from being fried which did not deter the flavor and tenderness of the meat . The sauce was sweet and complemented the steak very well. It was also very filling and I was almost unable to finish it. My only concern was the server, while talking to us asked why we were in town and there, I stated I m treating myself for an early birthday meal. He said well we will be glad to help celebrate you and I declined. He pushed it a few times with me saying no thanks but I finally said ok. I had declined because we had plans to have dessert elsewhere so when he asked if I would like cake or cheesecake after us trying to decline, we chose cake. It appeared by the server this would be complementary. I am not complaining about the price whatsoever, just the principle. I am just stating that to be pushed what appears to be a free dessert after declining a few times and then to be charged for it was not okay. As our sever was great in all other aspects, that was a bit off putting.

Extremely underwhelming experience. Our steaks were overly seasoned, the fries that come as a side with a kid s meal are literally the biggest potato wedges, seasoned with a ridiculous amount of pepper, that tastes spicy to an adult, let alone the child. We had very high expectations, however feel very disappointed with the quality and taste of food, as well as the sub par service. I felt ashamed for even taking my family here, since neither one of us enjoyed the food or the ambiance.

My boy wanted a steak dinner for his birthday today. He specifically wanted a 28-Day Dry-Aged A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye 12oz. I ve never paid $250 for one steak before but it s what he wanted so why not. The boys mom and I chose a couple of prime tenderloins. All the steaks were outstanding as expected. The boy shared a couple bites of his steak with his mother and I. Man that Wagyu steak tasted like butter. So tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. My son was quite pleased with his choice.

We arrived promptly at 5pm at what should be the kickoff of dinner service. The food wasnt bad, just interesting.I got the Chef Tommys bacon appetizer and it was very rich, and bacon was great. My wife got the steak salad which was actually a tower of THICK sliced tomato with thinner sliced steak in between with a small amount of arugula on top. It wasnt bad, but have never seen this before. Calamari was great! My wife got the pork chop which was great! But here is where I got confused. I got the standard Fillet medallions with mashed potatoes and stuffed shrimp. The steak and potatoes werent seasoned properly. When I pay for steak at a steakhouse I shouldnt have to put apply more salt and pepper. The service was great. Atmosphere was great. We did pay cash, but they had already charged me for NOT paying with cash. When the waiter picked up the book he did not offer to recalculate and return with a different price. He just accepted it, which was a little sketchy to me.Overall a great experience though. I would go back. Not to get a steak though.

We have been looking forward to coming here for awhile but wish I would have taken the other review s seriously. They are all correct. This is a very overpriced, middle of the road restaurant. The cocktail list is very drab and nothing really caught my eye. The appetizers came out long before our drinks and my champagne cocktail was served warm for $18. My husbands second drink came out long after our entrees to the point where we were just about done. The bar could use some help or kitchen needs to slow down The steaks were good, but nothing I can say I haven t had before. I feel you definitely do not get what you pay for. I told my best friend I was tired of the high end steak houses because we go all the time and I feel like it s basic now but this place EXCEEDED my expectations. The steak melts in your mouth! The lobster stuffed crab is amazing. Most restaurants lobster comes out rubbery but here omg it s sooooo juicy and the right texture! Shout out to the chefs for sure! Everything was so flavorful. Im definitely recommending this place to my friends and family. Oh our waiter Jose was awesome. He didn t even feel like a waiter I felt like a friend was serving us. I was surprised by the price when we got the bill. Like how is food like this so affordable?!?! It s sooo goooddd so I was shocked when it was around $300 for two which included a couple Alcohol beverages! Normally we spend $500-$700 at other higher end steak houses and their food are so basic and not as flavorful! Definitely a new regular here

First I will say this place is great usually. I am adding my review in case they changed leadership or something? Our server was amazing he did a great job making us laugh and feeling comfortable. The atmosphere was also perfect. We had a tour of the meat area which was kinda cool. The trouble was unfortunately the food. We have dined here at least a handful of times and always rave about the food. Yesterday was just not good. It wasn t just one thing either. Soup was cold. Bernaise (sp?) was not good at all. My wife barely touched her filet and I had to send mine back as it was over cooked and super tough. They staff was quick to react to correct these missteps but my replacement steak was literally ice in the middle (should turn out nice today when I reheat it lol). All in all I say give this place a try if you have not yet! They are usually great across the board. Shout out again tot the staff as they were terrific as always! The food was just pretty disappointing for the price. Thanks and we will be back so don t worry!

The waiter was very attentive and always around when we needed him. The Calamari was amazing, so tender and fresh. We also ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese, and the American Wagyu Ribeye. Both were very good, the steak just melted in your mouth. The waiter even cut up the Birthday Cake and did a great job. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is for the non cash sur charge. They took it back and when they returned with it it was so charred on the outside that s almost all you could taste. The other thing you could taste was a faint fish flavor. They either cooked the steak on the grill right after cooking fish or the covered metal containers they cover your food in wasn t cleaned. Not at all what I expected for the amount we paid. Speaking of what we paid unless you pay cash ..you get charged a 3 or 3.5% non cash surcharge . I ve only seen that done at gas stations and authentic taco trucks. Very classy. Yes they have some rare cuts of beef, so if you want to give something a try which youve never eaten, maybe worth the trip. Dont think its worth a second one though. Service was severely lacking, orders were incorrect, billing was incorrect, some food items were cold or forgotten, though the manager did comp them, and the supposed prime ribeye was very chewy. The bread and butter brought to the table was divine. The server passed by every few minutes to ask if all was going well and our water glasses filled quickly. The salad was good. I had asked for the dressing on the side and it was so flavorful it didnt need it. The steak was to have been medium rare but it was over cooked. It also wasnt very flavorful, so it wasnt worth the $98. Now in their defense who I believe was the manager came and asked if all was good and I said yes, but my husband was busy eating and didnt get a chance to speak. The fries were good. My husband and I have dined here several times before our last and final time. Don t get me wrong, B&B is delicious. The problem is the low brow staff they ve decided to hire in the past few months. We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary back in January here and to say I was extremely underwhelmed and disappointed with the overall service and treatment I received is an understatement. My husband and I are usually big tipper (at points, 60-75% of our total tab) if the service is immaculate. Well, this time, it was not. It all started when we were told that we would have to wait an undetermined amount of time for our table even though we had a reservation for 6 PM. When I asked how long it would be, the two young female hostesses seemed extremely frazzled and confused. We were told that they had a VIP party that would take precedent over common folks like us with reservations. Mind you, we placed our reservations over a month in advance. I was extremely annoyed at this point and I demanded to know how long it would be as waiting outside would mean we would be cold, and weren t even offered to sit at the bar inside. I went outside to try to find a reservation at another restaurant and was out of luck. I asked for an update as to when we would be seated after about 15 minutes had passed. After about 45 minutes, I decided to confront them again and ask when we would be seated. Seeing the anger and frustration on my face, who I assume to be one of the managers, escorted us to a table in the second dining room next to a loud family. I, not wanting to cause any more trouble, bit my tongue and continued to try to have a nice time with my husband. Our server was great, even though she had very limited knowledge of wines and the menu options. What really angered us is that my husband ordered a very expensive piece of steak and when serving us, she proceeded to drop 3 to 4 pieces of steak off of the tongs and onto the floor in front of us, and chose to ignore it instead of offering to replace the steak. We were extremely upset by this. Overall, this place has gone down in the past few months. I don t think we will be back anytime soon. The value isn t there anymore. The service is severely lacking. And, they obviously care more about their VIP clients than anyone else.

Great service. Executive Chef stopped by our table to see if the food was satisfactory. Wholeheartedly recommend the Crab cakes or the pork chop. Expensive, but worth it.

So what made this outstanding was the service. Our waiter, Carlos, was informative and friendly and checked on us at just the right pace. Our host Taylor changed our table reservation to an area more desirable. Thank you!! The food was delicious. I had wagyu (the 55 yo aged rib eye) and tasted the difference but was underwhelmed. The steak was great - I think bc wagyu has been hyped so much I thought I was going to have an out of body experience. It was just damn good instead. My favorite dish was the calamari!! The Ferrari out front was nice too!!
