Absolutely love this place! My family and I come here every year since 2016 and we have made it a family tradition thanksgiving evening. We love lights, music, photo ops with Santa. Cant wait to return this year with family and friends

Went in December and had a short wait time. The place charged 40 dollars a car entrence, there was lights broken all over the place there was strands out and for 40 dollars a car I expect the best! Was a big disappointment and waste of time

I came here for the holiday and was told that this was a good place to visit. I was so disappointed that three cars of us paid $40.00 a car and the sign said $31.00. Talked with Eric the owner and he said thats his display. Never again will I visit this place and will let everyone else know. You shouldnt be charging $40.00 a car when its not worth $10.00 a car. The radio station didnt work at all! Im pissed!!!!

It is disgusting to me that a business would rip people off at Christmas. A season where we pay money to take our kids through a lights display for joy and entertainment only to find a large portion of the lights to not be working. A complete waste of $40. I wish I could give a zero stars review. I am debating giling a dispute on the charge for services not as described and faulty merchandise.

It was so awesome!! I don t get the negative reviews. We went on a Saturday 12/23 and it was so great. The lights were great. They had a lady at the ticket window who advise to turn lights off and everyone did. Santa was maybe a 10 -15 min wait. He was so sweet& looked so real!. My kids were so happy. We got an amazing picture for $18.00 bucks! So worth it. First time visit and it won t be the last. Thank you Elf Acres!!

We recently went there a few days ago. I won t be going back. First off, the hostess stand was distracted doing something else instead of telling people to turn off their lights. So, half the people in line were with their lights on simply because they forgot to. Secondly, while driving through, half the lights were broken. Whole trees were missing lights and only had one random section working. This ruined the experience because instead of enjoying the lights, we were just trying to locate flaws in the lights. That s how many lights were broken. Third, the lights aren t coordinated with the music. They just blink at random. This place has so much potential. Maybe in the beginning of the season, it would be nice with all the lights functioning, but if I m going to spend money on a 20 minute show, id rather go to lights alive or the jones Christmas lights in Boerne. At the jones, we got free candy canes and it was $40.00 I won t be doing elf acres ever again. To be honest, I m surprised they have such a high rating

If I could give them a 0 star, I would. What a disappointment, lots of light strands not working. Came in excited, left wanting to rip my eyes out. We ve been to other drive thru light shows and were expecting a similar experience. No led lights, no synchronized music light show, scary mannequins, standard Christmas lights wrapped around trees, many light characters were not lit up or partially working. Save your money and drive the extra distance to another one. We should ve read the reviews before coming. Could ve spent my money somewhere else. The ticket clerk said Santa was having technical difficulties and the shop was closed. If you read anything positive after my review, they are probably fake.

The lights for the entrance didnt work so we drove right passed the location. Half of the lights throughout the drive didnt work, including the giant Christmas tree. The radio station that plays music along with the lights also didnt work. The lady at the ticket booth was rude when we asked about the music. This place has become a joke.Santa was literally the only good part and the pic is $16.95 on top of the $40 you pay for the poorly executed light display. Dont waste your time or money. Tried to call to get a refund no one ever answers the phone.

We visited Elf Acres for the first time since moving down the street from them & the best part of the entire experience was Santa Claus by far!! 5 stars for Santa!!! We arrived 5 minutes before they opened during a weekday & we didn t have to wait long for our visit with Santa. It got busier as time passed on so we were happy we got there when we did. The line for Santa definitely grew as time passed. Santa was SO attentive & took the time to talk to our boys during their visit with him!! He even read a story to my grandson while we visited with him. We didn t feel rushed at anytime & Santa felt authentic & heartfelt & really paid attention to our boys. My grandson was afraid of Santa & he wore his Bumblebee mask but he felt comfortable enough to take a photo with him with it on. And my brother, who is 40 years old & disabled, was still treated with respect by Santa & his helper. We felt included Thank you for that Santa!! This is by far the best Santa visit we have ever had!! I would say he was even better than Morgan s Wonderland Santa. The interaction this Santa had with our boys was memorable, heartfelt & we definitely felt the inclusion!! The light show was nice, but it could use some improvements, some of the lights were out during the drive but our Santa visit definitely made up for it. And my grandson had a blast in Santa s Village with the other kids running around. And we enjoyed the kettle popcorn & drinks. Keep up the wonderful work Santa!! You are definitely #1 so far that we have visited here in SA.

Went here recently on weekday to avoid lines. Still had that one car that kept stopping and causing everyone to pile up. Little disappointed there are quite a few figures with broken lights even the Santa workshop didnt have the projection working. The kids probably wont care though but there are a lot of them out. It got cold and we only grabbed a hot cocoa which was good. Scalding hot but good. We grabbed a bag of kettle corn which tasted like someones first attempt at making kettle corn. Tasted burnt and was like 80% unpopped kernals. The people working there were probably relatives and forced to as they arent the jolliest group. Overall still good enough to go if you hate driving hours to get to another one.

We went on a Wednesday evening. When we arrived, they told us that they had some power outage and were trying to get it situated. They informed us that they d hope to get it corrected by 7, which ended up being 40 minutes for us. We didn t mind waiting, sometimes things happen. As we waited, they did give us complimentary hot cocoa, which I thought was wonderful. The staff was really kind even though that was a stressful circumstance. Once the lights were back on, it was beautiful! If you like drive through shows, this one was definitely joyful :) They have concessions and Santa is there for pictures.

The absolute BEST place for a drive-thru Christmas light display, Santa, and family experience. Our family has been visiting Elf Acres for years, and it has become a tradition now. Santa is by far the best Ive ever met. He takes the time to talk to each child, reads to them a little, and makes it fun. Its not just about getting a photo. Its a moment the children will remember forever. There is also a snack stand with cotton candy, funnel cakes, drinks, chips, hot cocoa, and a few other things. The prices are very reasonable. Forget the malls. Go here. Its truly a one of a kind experience.

I used to love this place! My family and i come here every year, but unfortunately this will be our last time attending. They really have let their business go. They dont make the effort to fix the lights that are out year after year. The Kettlecorn that i used to look forward to every year is no longer made fresh, was burnt and they sold a very little amount for a high price. My daughter ordered nachos and we paid $5 for like 8 nachos. I hope you read this and start to step up and make more of an effort to up keep and take pride in your business. I know it may be a great area of profit..that being said lack of maintenance and effort will turn people away eventually.

This was our first time going. Its a large display and a bit outdated... thats fine though. I like the traditional displays but youd think that for $40 per vehicle they could afford to fix all the lights that were not working or appeared to be burnt out. It wasnt a ton of lights, but still, the lights are why people come. Do a walk through and fix the broken ones or remove the fixture. The best part of the experience was seeing Santa. They had a great Santa who was very kind and attentive to my kids. Poor guy had lost his voice mostly but still chatted with my 3 kids. It was very cold out that night and it would have been nice to have a fire pit for people to warm up around while waiting for Santa. Missed opportunity to sell people some smores fixins!

Not worth the money at all its $40 yes its a million lights cheesy ones they just wait to get you to the end of the 5 minute drive and try to sell you everything toys, light up foods and oh n $12 for a 4x6 pic with santa unreal but when u call the day is$40 a mile long drive through over a million lights vendors, food a play area for the kids (untrue is a waiting area for your food with Christmas music a that board you see to take pictures) and pictures with Santa never telling you everything listed is an extra charges

we went in over the weekend line was super long once you re at the check in they collect entrance fee with the credit card or cash it was way too pricey for the type of lights that were on display I could have done this display at my own house with no charge I actually went in this weekend before my family from Houston came down because my plan was to have them come here for xmas eve! and again it s way too pricey for the type of lights on display! $35 per car on a Thursday for a non-peak day . There was no wait to go through the lights. The drive was 1 mile long, and it was all jam-packed with really cool and cute Christmas lights. I really appreciated the different themes in sections as well as keeping Christ in Christmas (thats what its all about!) It was well organized. There is one part where you drive under a canopy of lights, I wish they would have more of that. It looks cool under the sunroof of the car. After driving through the lights, you can park, and there are some activities and snacks available for purchase. We then had to wait about 40min to see Santa, but thats because one family at a time gets around 10min to spend with him taking pictures, which is neat because it makes it magical that you dont see Santa while waiting in line. I paid about $27 for 3 digital pictures. Santa even read a book to the kids. Wonderful experience!

It was a fun experience. I like the style of these drive thru lights compared to others in the area. There is a decent amount and then fun at the end. I am very disappointed at this Christmas Light Park, some of the light displays were out, not working properly and just plane broken for $40 a car this was not worth it at all !!! We went on a Friday night and the line was not bad at all! We got through the gates within 20 minutes and they have lights leading up to it too. The whole drive was gorgeous! They had many different themed areas which was interesting! A great place to view holiday lights and very affordable! I would highly recommend a season pass especially if you have a small child! The lights are the perfect pre-bedtime activity!

I understand that it is mainly for the kids, but even then 40-43 dollars is way too much compared to what was offered: lights of some small characters, a picture with Santa (if he was there) that wasn t free, a shop that sold hot chocolate and other sweets, and a little area that included chairs and some space to run around. 2 stars for the effort.

They have less lights than the one in New Braunfels. I am surprised they dont have more through the drive. The tunnel may have been the only thing but even then we are going to go to Santas Ranch. This last year they had missing light bulbs and the people are always quitting from their hiring all the time. It like they copied Santas Ranch but couldnt afford the details. I know SR had been open for a longer time.

We brought our three children the day before thanksgiving. It was such a lovely light show. Longer than some light shows we ve been to. We all truly enjoyed our time and the Santa visit was amazing. My mom came down to spend Christmas with us from New York and I wanted to show her all the great things San Antonio has to offer during the holidays. I researched the many options we had in the area to see Christmas lights and read just about every review. I chose Elf Acres because it was super close to the house and offered pictures with Santa. Also the price was fair. The website was easy to navigate and purchase tickets for the day we wanted to go. Once we arrived the lights did not disappoint. We not only saw the lights but also listened to Christmas music. We didn t feel rushed and were able to drive slow, take pictures, and sing! At the end we were able to find parking and get in line to take our picture with Santa. I ve seen my share of Santa s but never one like the one at Elf Acres. He was super friendly, my daughter sang a Christmas song to him, and he taught us all a lesson who is Rudolph s father? He had a book which he had one of my daughter s read a part of it. We were able to take a couple of different pictures and at no point in time felt this was about the bottom line the Santa s at the mall. I purchased a print and a digital picture. The print was of good quality and quick. We enjoyed some hot cocoa. Overall we had a great time. The next day I was disappointed I had not received the digital picture and after checking my trash bin, spam folders I emailed elf acres. I could only imagine how many ppl they saw that evening and the evening prior so I tried to be a descriptive of who we were and which day/time we went. I received a response within 24 hrs with an explanation and they were working on getting the technical issues resolved. Very friendly email and sure enough not too long there after received not only the pic I wanted but actually all of our pics which I thought was super nice and beyond what was expected. A couple of days later the owners emailed me thanking me for the email and giving me a bit of history of the place. A very personal touch which I appreciate. It feels that many times businesses forget about the customer. My family will continue to support Elf Acres and will recommend it to all of our friends for as long as they continue lighting up Christmas!

Super nice folks here and very traditional. We did notice there were some lights out or down that we normally like to see (thinking of quickly was Santa shop projection, two of the butterflies, part of some of the other animations). There was some nice added fill with some led Christmas trees and a few others we didnt remember. Im sure its hard to keep up with the traditional lights.

This family is so hard working and despite some unfortunate tragedies that kept piling on them, they did their absolute best taking care of everyone who visited. Their Santa was so kind and absolutely everyone we interacted with was friendly and sweet. We took some pictures of our daughter with Santa and when they ran into tech issues, they kept constant communication to make sure we got our pictures. You can tell a lot about anyone, person or company, by how they handle when things go wrong and they did amazing. Our family may even be joining them next year to help since we had such a wonderful time. Its always fun to support a small family owned business

$50 dollars total, 15 was spent for santa picture bundle where you can also receive a digital picture by email its been 5days!! And i still dont have my sons digital picture with santa. Ive contacted them the day after and have been as a customer patient enough, this needs to be resolved NOT WORTH THE PRICE if this is how they treat FAMILY and Vs. MONEY. Ps. The peak price is 35. I asked for military rate which was STILL 35 with tax, to which i said oh okay so theres no discount then, and she said oh yes thats the discount a 1.00 off but with tax its the same price. they really dont care, charging that and some lights were non working. What???? IN REPLY TO ELF acres: I text messaged on sunday 2 days after the picture was taken. I was responded to that day but one time only since then. That sunday i was made aware for days you all were having trouble with emails being sent. Okay im an understanding person; but not when it comes to my hard earned money and family values, things like memories i cant get back. The physical picture given was smeared, because the young lady rushed on taking it out. Ok things happen no worries right because i have a digital coming, but its been a week now! I havent been reached out to or even updated in text message. And ive called every day and no one answers the phone, your aware voicemail is full?? We as customers cant even leave a message. I have tried contacting many times and not one person updated me or verified that I received my picture, which i still have not. I don t appreciate that, no one has tried resolving this promptly until after i started posting reviews pictures posted of texting after no answers.

The lights were decent, some were out. First time here and is definitely the last. In my opinion, Santa s Ranch is definitely better. The lady in the booth was very distracted from being on her cellphone. It wasn t very welcoming at all. The entrance has no entrance sign with cars exiting. I would have enjoyed drinking hot chocolate while seeing the lights. You have to park your car and go to the concession stand AFTER viewing the lights. It wasn t worth our money. This place is more for little kids to enjoy.

The lights are beautiful. There s a radio station to listen to while you drive. Was told if you do a review on google or yelp you get a free hot chocolate at the end. At the end of the drive there s a place to park and you can buy snacks and take pictures with Santa. Really nice place!

What an absolute delight it was to take our two year old granddaughter to this festive light show! We got in on a busy early Friday evening with a minimum amount of waiting, paid our fare to a very friendly Santa s Helper drove through the mile long display at a very reasonable pace, parked our truck when finished, ate some delicious funnel cakes with refreshments, enjoyed a walk through a lighted area for everyone and had our granddaughter meet Santa Claus for her very first time! All in all, the lighting displays were well thought out, the personnel were warm and engaging, the food hit the spot and Santa fit every granddaughter s and grandparents definition of a true Santa. This was our first time here and we ll be looking for future events to attend as they become available!

We love visiting Elf Acres every year as part of our family s Christmas tradition. In my opinion, I find it better than other drive through places because of the pictures with Santa. The lines are always super short and can t beat the price for a quality picture. The Santa they have their is so kind to the kids and makes your kiddo feel so special. We visited Elf Acres and loved it it felt like actual Santa s Ranch down here in Texas. They had such a beautiful light display and concession stands serving hot cocoa, funnel cakes, and other snacks when we met Santa he was so jolly and started reading to our baby boy as our pictures were printing highly recommend coming to this place!
