The tall drop is crazy, the black cave is amazing, overall a long long usually but everyone I have went with says it worth it. Flash pass one shot this ride if your going to do a flash pass one shot!!

These rides are crazy at Six Flags/Fiesta Texas! Bro I came over my fears of riding roller coasters with some of my friends! You should really come here. The Staff is amazing and super kind and family friendly! The food is so amazing! Definitely find a time to go here!

So, I rode the Rattler back in the day after it was revised and a couple of times after as the years went on. I was at the park the other day for the Fright Fest, and the park was open late. One person in my group insisted on riding, and we went because its a coaster park. BUT I had no idea what I was in for with this newer Rattler... We rode it in the fking dark! I had no idea I was going upside down until we were feet away. My brain was like, is that a twist?? Or a mirage?? And we spun. The arches I kept having intrusive thoughts the cart was going to detach, but it didnt. This ride was pretty intense. But I enjoyed it. Even the 17 ft drop from up on the canyon, that they remind you of right as you roll out and then break the ride on you and dangle you alittle before you storm away. I dont remember doing anything like that back in 2010 on any of the rides, so it was surprising.

This is one of Six Flags Fiesta Texass stand-out coasters. Iron Rattler is a RMC conversion of a coaster that was too rough as a wooden coaster, but is perfect as a steel coaster.

Lost my prescription glasses on the ride. Its been two days and I dont get the feeling that they have tried to look for them. They were in a protective case in my pocket and flew out. I told them that they flew out on the last drop of the ride. Flying out over my left shoulder. Its hundreds of dollars that Im afraid I wont get back.

Iron rattler is so scary I was crying before the ride started after the first time the big drop is crazy I almost fell out of my seat and in the loops I was sliding and the ride was so scary and the lights broke and in the tunnel was dark and scary and the ride is crazy

An absolute blast from beginning to end. Speed freaks will love this, as it s fast a racy. Poltergeist will make your head feel like it s gonna fall off, this however is probably the best designed rollercoaster lap of all time. Especially the end when you scream through the dark tunnel. Wow

OMG! This ride is awesome! This ride is at my home park which means i get to ride this a lot. I have gotten to ride this at day, night, in extremely cold days, and days where it has been over 100 degrees outside, and although it is much much better in the heat, it is still good at night. In the winter it has no airtime but still has the same intensity. In the summer it is at its best. I went yesterday, Monday June 13 2022 and got to ride this 5 times. It was amazing! Best ride at the park, and the 13 best roller coaster i have ever been on! Would 100% recommend and is worth a visit to this park alone!

Went there this past weekend for my son s birthday most every ride we are on got shut down and delayed while waiting in line on the water ride and watching the rattler come down the hill all the wood timbers sway say decide that cannot be safe engineers really need to look into that I m a general contractor and the stress I saw on those bolts as it was moving is absolutely crazy I would not go there ever again

This is the best ride out of the theme park like I could literally get on this ride the hole day and it s way better with the flash pass but I rate it 10/10 it also good because u can never get tired of the ride even though u have gotten on it the fall could never get old and how fast it goes as well perfect ride for kids and adults

This was a joke. We waited in line for two hours and still didnt get to ride it. The line was four hours long and all the fast passes got to go first. They also would not let my handicap husband ride it. They only had one car running for spring break huge disaster

Hands down the best roller coaster in the park. If you remember the original wooden rattler and the way the wood would move about 3 to 4 feet in the bend while standing in line, this looks and feels safe now! Rode this probably 20 times for sure on my visit to the park. It was a week day and school had started so ride lines were not very long. A must ride at night if you can.

Likely the best coaster Ive ever ridden. Every element is perfectly executed. The barrel roll was wonderfully intense , the 90 degree wall stall makes for a unique twist on the standard airtime hill, the second and third drops are as steep and intense as the big drops on most coasters, and the high speed tunnel makes for a great end to the ride. But nothing compares to the first drop. The speed and G-forces are simply incredible, and if the near vertical angle doesnt have you screaming, the headchopper effect at the bottom will. Most remarkable of all is how incredibly smooth the whole thing is. An absolute triumph for Rocky Mountain Construction and Alan Shilke.

Where to begin? I rode rattler way back in the mid ninties, and I hated it. I love Woodies and had ridden several at that time, this quickly and solidly earned its position as my least favorite. It was rough, the transitions were choppy and it just hurt. After having ridden New Texas Giant, I had to revisit this old monster to experience what Shilke had created and holy $#!+ It was amazing. From that freaky twisted first drop Jose dive at the quarry floor to the beautiful Overbank into that amazing zero g roll and the wave turns into my favorite element, the ejector dive off the cliff wall into the tunnel this ride is nothing but fun and intense. Its not for acrophobes or smaller riders, and its not for people with heart conditions or lower extremity malfunctions. The rapid transitions and moments where the train is yanked out from under you are super intense, and not for under experienced riders.

I recommend this ride for teenagers and adults. This ride is insane! It has that sorta 90° drop at the beginning and it s really fun. If you re scared of heights, I don t recommend unless you feel like you can handle it. I have always had good experiences on this ride, also the lines are usually really long because it s one of the best.
