We went here two times for help and Jorge in the archery department was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely be back when I come back in town. I got here to use the shooting range at 6PM to be told that I was only allowed 30 minutes, it is listed to close at 7PM then I asked why, their response was that they need to clean.. then do not post your hours to close at 7PM, I own a business and I attend to my clients until I close, not some 30 mins before closing posted signs due to having to clean..

WENT TO THE RANGE RECENTLY AND DONT PLAN TO GO AGAIN. I FOUND IT TOO EXPENSIVE AND THE CLERK ASKED FOR OUR ID TO KEEP WHILE WE USED THE RANGE. I HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL RANGES AND NONE ASK TO KEEP OUR ID. ONE CONSOLATION WAS THAT THE IDS WERE BY THE FRONT COUNTER AND ON SOME KIND OF WIRE LINE UNDER CAMERA VIEW. HOPEFULLY, NO ONE CAN GET PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM THE RANGES PATRONS. THE CLERK THAT RETURNED OUR ID WAS VERY RESPECTFUL THOURGH. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT NO ID BE HELD HOSTAGE TO HELP PREVENT IDENTITY THEFT.

The young men working at this establishment are extremely polite. The older man with the mustache is a jerk, and extremely condescending. He needs an attitude check. The facility itself was clean and nice, it was the old, chubby disgruntled man that annoyed me! We have to pay for the clips that hood up your target which wasn t a problem but his attitude cuz u accidentally dropped the clip ugh. Won t be returning.

Would give ZERO stars if possible. As soon as my partner and I entered the establishment the three employees posted behind the counter just stared at us and one looks us up and down then asks what we are needing. we tell him we are looking to see what they have and he immediately goes not much . We decide to look anyways.I am around the yeti cups looking at their selection while he is looking for his potential purchase and the other two employees are just staring at me and then exchange words while they are both still looking at me, obviously talking about me. i felt extremely uncomfortable and NOT SAFE as I was wearing a form fitting dress. i addressed my concern with my partner and we left immediately. would not recommend anyone come here ever.

Employees are nice. Range could be cleaned more, im always stepping on casings. The lane i was in had a busted light so it was unfortunate but I still have a pleasant time going there. It would be awesome if shotguns were allowed since its my favorite range but theres other places that do. The front shop is awesome with good selection, fair prices and knowledgeable folk.

Indoor shooting range. You will need a jacket or sweater. Its super cold in the actual range. They require double ear protection, so make sure you take your own. Otherwise they sell what you need in there. I strongly recommend you take two large paper clamps to avoid leaving behind your IDs. You will need the clamps for your target paper. If you forget the clamps they will lend you some but you will need to leave your ID behind. Customer service is ok, not bad but not great either. Good safety rules. ***FYI- Google says place closes at 8:30pm but the shooting range closes at 8:00pm.***

After years of personally boycotting this establishment for wanting to charge me and a guest full price (you are more than welcomed to run your business anyway you like) for 15 minutes of shooting (we there 30 mins prior to closing), I never went back. Used to buy reloading equipment until the elitist environment came in. So I was not suprised when I heard a friends visit today not being the greatest. A buddy just went over today and he asked for a specific model of firearm and was asked why he wanted that model. Que chingaos te importa? Either you have it, can get it or not. Not everyone is looking for unsolicited consolation. Some of us know what we want. Save yourself the inconvenience dealing with staff that think they are ex-Navy Seals and want to tell you what you need and buy at mom and pop shops instead like Glick Twins. You will save time and money. If this establishment goes outta business, I wont miss it.

I like this place. Most gun ranges in the RGV are garbage, but this one is clean and with good service. Bring your own targets (like the shoot n sees) because all ranges overcharge on the targets (and ammo! Never but ammo from a range!)

Been going there for years. It has gotten way more expensive with time and staff has gotten way more rude. Went there today to shoot with my brother (who lives in Mexico and does not have a state-issued ID for that reason). The store clerk didn t let us shoot because my brother couldn t prove his citizenship , although he did show a Mexican driver s license that DOES say he is a US Citizen. All things apart, I don t even think there is an actual law that prohibits non-US citizens from shooting at an indoor range in the US. It is just sad that after all these years, two frequent customers (yes, my brother used to go there as well) get treated like this. Stay away from this place. Won t be going there anymore

Went out to point blank for the perk of using the digital / electronic target holder. Went into bay 1 for about 10 minutes before the electric system began to fail. Was moved to bay 2. Another 10 minutes in the same thing happened. Was moved to bay 3. About 5 minutes into the 3rd bay it went out. By this point I was annoyed and just packed my weapons and checked. The best part of this is that the employee tried to be fake surprised about the bays not working. Clearly saw it through him that he knew about it. NEVER AGAIN.

Very disrespectful when asking questions about name transferring and giving wrong info about times when the manager was in. Jesse and some other dude were very unprofessional, even though I ve met and been friendly he can be very rude if you ask complex questions that can t be intellectually comprehended. Majority do not know knowledge about firearms, also prices are just WAY overpriced. I recommend going somewhere else. Came here to buy my first pistol, they were friendly and amazing customer service. They made me feel welcomed and made the experience comfortable and great. As someone who was barely of age (21) my first commitment that I wanted to partake in was owning a gun and I didn t know where to go and I knew I needed to actually shoot a gun first and know how to use one before I decided to buy one. The cool thing about Pointblank is that you can actually rent a gun and try it out before you even decide to buy that model so that s exactly what I did. I was there for about half an hour enough to shoot a few rounds and figure out what I liked. I then decided on the one I wanted and got it that same day. Was a beautiful 380 Springfield. At Pointblank there s an unspoken admiration and respect for all firearms. Not only this but their staff is *highly* educated. (Augie) A few weeks later I decided to purchase a beautiful firearm that was going to need to be sighted, I trusted that the first person who was handling it would do it justice and I haven t missed a shot since!! So thanks for that Prices are firm but the equipment is top notch. Overall amazing experience here, both times were during COVID so they do make you wait outside, since there were some people in the building it went by quick and we were in there in no time. I would also suggest that if you are looking for a specific item that you should call them and ask to see if they have it!

Went in to buy a bow customer service seemed nice enough. Hours after I paid i get a text that the bow that was sold will not fit my draw length, ok i get it people make mistakes i was understanding. Ordered my bow was told 2 or 3 weeks waited about 6 ok i get it alot of stuff going on right now. Get a text, good news your bow is in, 3 minutes later i was informed that it was not what i ordered, it was the wrong bow. Ok now this is bad event after bad event. I text 2 days later and asked how long the wait was going to be for the bow i ordered to come in and got ignored. 5 days later I asked again and the answer I got was, long story short, no. WOW, Point Blank does not even try, I did my part i paid my money and twice I expected them to do their part and both times it did not happen. The only good thing they did was refund my money but lets see if they actually did that right in 3 to 5 days lol

I got to point black at 7pm and this old man said they were going to close 1 hour erlier (8pm instead of the advertised 9 pm) because no one was shooting. When we set up at the lane, the target malfunction. Instead of letting us move lanes, the old man made us wait for him to take his sweet as time fixing the lane no one was going to use. Then at 7:50pm after the venues setbacks, he turned off the lights and kicked us out. No consideration whatsoever, bad customer service from that specific employee.

This place is top notch. They have just about any kind of gun here, and about everything else for a gun for that matter. The staff are knowledgable and friendly. Its weird that this shop is located right next to other shops. The soundproofing is crazy good. The shooting lanes are spacy and neat that you can push buttons to make the target come closer or pretty far away. Came to this city for work but brought some guns to check this place out. Im still mesmerized from the incident that occurred yesterday. My son was still talking about it today. Its a great place. I like the facility. Depending on who you talk to, employees are well informed and knowledgeable. Friendly staff, great selection. But! BUT!... You guys need to be better prepared for situations such as the one that took place Saturday in the range. Theres live rounds in the mix of the brass on the floors. And it took a bit of time to contain the situation. Employees running around, looking for the proper equipment to use, there was little communication, within the staff. Preparation is key for overcoming these type of situations.

Never had a problem here before. Started reading the reviews and was a bit concerned as I hadnt been here in over a year. I was not pressured at all when I walked in. I was offered ammo, eye and ear protection, as well as targets. Thats just normal business. All I needed was targets so I paid and signed the waiver and was on my way to a stress relief hour. As I was shooting I could overhear the staff engaging a couple of new women shooters. They addressed the safety issues and were giving adjustments in the most non intrusive way. That goes a long way to properly traini g someone and keeping them interested.

I received my CHL from Point Blank. The instructor was retired Sheriff Deputy, amusingly named Jesse James. My 9 yr daughter attend the First Shooters class. Jesse was very patient with my daughter when teaching her how to shoot a shot gun. She loved it when she got passed her fear. Now her aim is better than mine ! Point Blank is a great place to buy and practice !!

i really like this place. it IS a bit pricey but the staff is VERY helpful and courteous. no dumb question. they dont belittle you like some other places for asking basic questions. ive gone to academy and they seem angry all the time and short staffed. Point Blank is always fully staffed and eager to teach or demonstrate their weapons and accessories.

I shot there four years ago with my younger brother and sister, came back today and couldnt get in. My sister is almost 20 years old and has purchased her own rifle. However they must have changed the rule and now she has to have her parents with her to shoot it in their range. I would understand if she was tryin to buy a handgun but she wasnt. You have to be 21 to buy a handgun. However she can legally shoot a handgun with a parent/guardian. (We were only shooting rifles) It is a really dumb rule, I will never come here again. I just wasted my time, I recommend places for my entire family so they lost all our money. As far as customer service they returned my membership ($180)and I have not been treated rude. But that rule is so stupid I will never go there again. Shooters alley, hole in the wall and coyote firearms are better. Also this place is very expensive and although its pretty its not worth it.

DO NOT BUY FROM POINT BLANK! They are not military friendly and they do not care about customer service. This is by far the worst firearms dealer I have ever encountered. I always buy on base, but decided to stop here because of the above average reviews. My trip here cost me $40 for nothing.

Great place to shop and look around, people like to complain about rudeness and pressure, if you have a problem with then stay outuned of gun shops, majority of people who come to these places are veterans and cops who use a curse word every other word. And the prices are quite decent , you pay for quality and I saw alot of quality guns here that do not use cheap parts.
