Forget the ribs they were dry and barely any meat the rest of our orders were okay took a long time. Our waitress was somewhat attentive. And watch out the floors are coming up so if your handicapped or disabled avoid this place too many trip hazards

The food was cold... mozzarella sticks were halfway empty. The children enjoy their food. Thats the only reason why Im giving them a 2 star. They said that they ran out of food but then turned around and said that they had it. I wont be coming back!!!

I got a to go order that included 3 vegetables and a chicken breast. I m having surgery and am on a modified diet that allows me to only have protein and vegetables with a small condiment/dressing and for me to be fasting during the day. This was an order at 10pm after landing from a flight where I d gone without eating all day. I was so excited to jump into my salad prior to realizing there was no dressing. Ordinarily, this small inconvenience would not have bothered me but the amount of emotions that went through me finally getting to eat for today and being disappointed that I will have to throw out my salad given that it doesn t taste like anything is sad. Otherwise the food was great.

As a teacher, I get exhausted and burnt out on making a decision at the end of the evening. Tonight was one of those nights that I didnt want to make a decision on what to eat. My server Monse was a great sport when I said, pick me something. My crispy chicken bacon burger was phenomenal! So tender and juicy! The flavor was spot on! My three kids loved their meals and wiped their plates cleaned!

I had previously mentioned that this location had better service than the one on 35 north San Antonio. Today I was proven wrong!! We walked in there was no one to greet us! A waitress passed us and did not acknowledge us at all. Older gentleman working there ask the waitress to sit us down she said you do it and walked away!!! He sat us down and no one approached us, he went about and was cleaning tables. Still waiting, waitress did not come to our table at all. We got up and another couple was waiting so we warned them. And they decided to leave as well. Do not know what happened to their great service. Will not visit this place to hopefully give them sometime to get back to where they were ...

mim was an amazing server. this is my first time back at this applebees in MONTHS because i previously had a not so great experience. but mim welcomed us so warmly, called us friends and made us feel right at home. the food and beer came out so fast! shout out to the kitchen for getting our food out so quickly cause we were starved. the food was hot, fresh, burgers were so juicy and STACKED. i had the bourbon mushroom swiss burger and can t recommend is it enough. (it s a little tiny bit spicy but nothing to crazy) i will definitely be back to see mim very soon, and keep up the good work everyone! Vegetarian options: mozzarella sticks, salad, impossible burger, you can request pasta without chicken.

Met my hubby for lunch there. 1st mistake waitress gotten my drink order wrong. We both order Wednesday lunch special, his w/ mushrooms mine w/ grilled-sauted onions. His was correct, mine was covered in both onions & mushrooms=2nd mistake. Then my hubby was 3/4 done w/ his meal and waitress brought me same exact cold meal w/ tons of mushroons covering my steak. I refused meal all together and to take it off our bill. 3 mistakes in a span of 25 minutes.

Great visit! Not sure our servers name but she was amazing. She was having a rough night with 2 tables walking out on her. Joked and questioned if we would do the same. Laughed about it. You could tell she was down about it. Felt so bad. Only bad thing about our visit was the bar. Took almost 45 mins for our two drinks. Our server kept apologizing. We told her dont worry its not you. We got sat right away there s was probably like 9 tables. First time ever at Applebees we ve never been. Once sat no one came to greet us after 12 minutes. We ending up leaving. There was also a disgusting stench. Smelled old and I don t know how else to describe it but smelled sticky. There was this man buying shots that seemed tipsy. The bartender kept giving him drinks as well. Even bought a round of drinks for the bar. This was around 3:50pm.

Ever since my husband, an Army pilot, and I returned from being deployed to Germany, we have enjoyed eating at this wonderful Applebees restaurant. We have eaten there almost every weekend for nearly 40 years. We also invited our best friends, another Army pilot, and his wife to join us regularly. We all became very fond of and friends with Diana, a waitress, after she started working there. We always, and still do, ask to be seated in Diana s area. She always takes such good care of us and our friends and makes every dining experience a joy.

Came in lookin for the same thing everyone else was: late night dine in and drinks. we were seated quickly for how busy it was. Leesa took very good care of us despite the rush ! she made sure our drinks were full and guided my fiance to the washroom. we felt like we got a pretty good deal for what we paid for, we will definitely be coming back ! as evening workers, our appreciation for a late night dinner spot cannot go understated. you cant buy a beer at dennys, but you sure can here ! Let me first off say that I have been in the service industry for a long time. Having been a chef for over 20 years, it is very hard to first of all find a place where I feel comfortable and too also find a place thats clean. I traditionally prefer to visit local and lesser known restaurants and bars. I also suffer from PTSD and its hard to feel safe anywhere. After not feeling comfortable at the bar I used to go to for years, I left to find a new spot. Applebees was the closest and closest to my work. Adrian was the bartender and as soon as I walked in she immediately made me feel like a regular and welcome. Now, three weeks later and coming in almost on a daily basis throughout the week, I still feel amazing. Adrian still goes above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. This past Saturday was the anniversary of my only sons passing. Adrian helped me honor my son, and made sure it was treated with respect. I can honestly say that if it wasnt specifically for Adrian and her outstanding service, I would not return. She is a true asset to the company, and as long as she is here, I will continue to come. It also bears to say that even though I only sit at the bar, Cat a waitress here in passing always makes sure to say hello to myself and to make sure to ask how my day is going. Thank you Adrian for all you do.

First, lets just say I tried to be patient. We were seated by a young lady who would be our server. We ordered the 2 for 32 that comes with an appetizer. We see the server outside hanging out when she should have probably been getting the onion ring appetizer we chose as it takes no time. She comes inside, and as this other table was leaving, she stands there waiting for them to leave as the runner drops off our appetizer. The server takes her tip from the other table, which is right next to us, and proceeds to leave the area without asking us if we need anything... idk, ketchup, plates, maybe? But okay, fine - patience, right? Our food comes out, and our server drops ot off and again leaves the area and goes to hang out with the regulars at the bar area. We eat. She never, not once ever, came back to the table. Not to ask if we needed anything, not to ask how everything was, not to refill any drinks... nothing. She did come to drop the check, take my money, and disappear again, though. I found my own Togo box. She never asked me if I wanted the cocktails on special- supposedly, I am owed a free white queso but I didnt bother to address it because I was in disbelief this was my experience unfolding before my eyes. Very poor customer service. The old man was cool though, he was bussing all the tables but he wasnt a busses supposedly. Anyway, I gave him $5. Cool guy. Crappy server. If she doesnt make good money, I hope this would be a hint to her as to why.

Visited here after a 7 hour drive..After an hour wait food was ice cold salmon was so dry it was like canned tuna server seemed frustrated and not very attentive will not return! First and last visit to Applebees for me only good thing were the dollaritas which is limited to 3 per customer. Husband ordered regular sirloin received bourbon instead green beans taste straight out the fridge no seasoning and ice cold I had salmon over penne as well as my daughter both pastas was ice cold. Was told there was a hold up with the salmon I guess there were busy killing it for the second time!!! Refills were not offered by our server

Always great food and drinks. Service was great. A convenient location too. We often stop here on the way home from the airport. Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramps throughout the restaurant so you can sit anywhere.

Just went there with the family haven t bin to apple bees in while I got a burger they didt even give me mayo and my kids got tender with mash and theres no gravy so it was ok but how r u not gunna ask me if i want mayo or mustard and how would u sell tender with no dipping sauce im just going to chilies next time

We went to eat dinner we order the burgers , mine was okay my partner was everything wrong he ask for extra tomato no onions since he is allergic on purple onions, the manager on dirty was. Delivery out food we told them the order was wrong he got mad and he take the plate with mad mood, the server never back to check on us its many times we have a bad service and its going to take long time to back since the manager and stuff changed all the time its only two servers are good there but unfortunately was not available that day so we will thinking about it to back again , no good services at all

Food was okay hot but not much flavor tables floors dirty sticky Jon B is why it even gets 3 star he had decent service. little flys hanging around your food was to appetizing. We were a group of 10 people with old and elderly people. We were there near the restaurant around 10:30 pm and they were not busy and they told to get the table it will take 1 hr and not even offering before that. We asked them they seat us in 2 tables and we are fine with it. But they said we dont allow groups to sit in 2 tables as it confuses the server to serve. Which is so odd for that big gaint to not offer a food serivce even when they see old people. Never will recommend.

Maybe it was what I ordered, the boneless wings were delicious, but the steak was horrible they didnt cook it like I requested. I will never order that again. I should have stayed with the wings. My husband enjoyed his food. He had the bourbon chicken. Its not a steak house so this one is on me.

We came here around 12 a.m. on a Monday and they close at 1.. my husband surprised me and treated me to the best meal I ever had!!! They followed his instructions to the max.. man Im so happy about my visit that id repeat it again.. they were the sweetest... The food was sooooo amazing I had the steak with the shrimp on top.. with mashed potatoes and broccoli and the perfect margarita.. my husband had the burger and fries and it did not disappoint at all.. thanks guys for an amazing experience.. p.s. were from Houston and this was the best food my far in San Antonio.. very affordable.. my meal was $20, my husbands was $8, and the perfect margarita with multiple pours was about $9...

They make you wait way too long, 15-20 minutes, then they seat you in a dirty table, make you wait another 15 minutes or if not more. Twice I ve had to deal with extremely long wait times on service and food. It took almost 20 minutes just for drinks and the food another 20. At one point, waiters passed by multiple times by us and never asked if we have been attended, the poor man had to ask 3 waiters if they could attend us and none of them came, probably because we were a family. Once we got our food, it came out cold and stale, our cups were half full and there were no free refills for it.
