Do not buy the Nachos you wont be able to find the beans. They spread the beans on the nachos like butter. Take note on your receipt they charge extra when you pay with your credit card. They said it is something new they are now doing.

(I sent this message directly to Vallarta TWICE & still no reply back.) I made a reservation for 25+ people for my husbands 40th birthday. They said we could come 30 minutes early to start decorating but tables werent even ready. There was only 1 waitress serving us & she didnt know English. It was hard for my party to communicate with her & there should have been at least 2 servers helping us. We had to go to the bar to order drinks because she was so overwhelmed. She was doing the best she could and it wasnt her fault. We ordered queso flameado appetizers and they never brought any chips or tortillas to eat it with. We received our meals out of order and the kids waited forever. Food ordered after them was served 1st and they kept waiting to get food. When we finally did get chips and tortillas for the flameados it was after our meals were served. The cheese was hard and cold and we couldnt dip anything in it. I will never have a large party here again. I felt so bad for our waitress and was very disappointed in management for a poorly prepared event. We all tried to make the best of it and have a good time but I will never dine at your restaurant again. You shouldnt offer services for large parties if you cant accommodate all the guests. Why was a contract and deposit required if nothing was prepared? If I put down a deposit for a large party I expect service to be accurate and timely. That is supposed to guarantee adequate service which I feel I did not receive.

Oh the terrible time we had at this place. Called in a to-go order for some tacos, menudo, and a burrito. Continuously placed on hold mid-order/conversation. Get to the drive thru to pick up the order, they give us 3 different receipts, one for over $70?? Obviously wrong, get the correct receipt. Pay, get food, go home. The beef on the tacos isnt fully cooked let me say again, the. Ground. Beef. Is. Raw. We call them, goes to voicemail thats full. Call again later, tell them the issue, they now have had me on hold for (according to my phone), 7 minutes. Loaded up into the car, drove back, talked to the manager in the drive thru WHILE STILL ON HOLD ON THE PHONE (going on 25 minutes now). Apparently the policy is to remake, not replace. I dont trust them now so eff that noise. So so awful. Do not go unless you dont mind a little salmonella risk with your tacos.

This is our all-time favorite place to eat. However, Service- I think our waiter forgot to turn our order because everyone around us got their order 1st,then only half the order came out . He took a real long time to check on us ,like a long time. Normally, theres a guy going around checking on people,he wasnt there. Food- When the food came out it tasted like there were no spices or from a can,it normally tastes great. Maybe new cook? Atmosphere- Also, the restaurant had a old mop water smell it was so strong it was really hard not to notice. This was last Sunday about 3pm. It was slow when we arrived . We will be back I think on a different day and when there are different people. Hopefully it will get better. We were 2 and spend almost $70 with the 15% tip.

Best potato and egg taco Ive had so far that is seasoned well, eggs fresh, potatoes cooked perfect, and cheese melted. Its definitely, hot and fresh. I try to keep my visits here minimal, as their prices are a bjt much compared to others. But other than that, the food is top notch. Their Carne guisada is pretty good also. Have had their chorizo and egg, as well.as bacon and egg tacos. All pretty good. Cant complain. Their salsa is definitely worth trying. Especially the red sauce.

Been going for a few years. Today our first turn off was dried food on the menu. My Son loves their enchiladas and he mentioned they tasted different and not as good as before. Rice was flavorless. I ordered the stuffed avocado with seafood. The bacon wrapped on the shrimp tasted old. I cant tell what type of seafood it was. A couple that sat next to us arrived later and their food was brought first. When our food came it was not hot. It had been sitting in the kitchen. Our waitress was running like a chicken without a head. She never refilled our drinks or came to check on us. She forgot the tortillas. Out of all the restaurants we chose that one. Also, there was a racist, white guy with a blue shirt that just stared at me for a minute. I stared back. I think because we wanted to leave because our waitress never picked up our dishes and she forgot about us. I had to go to cashier and still had to wait for our waitress. We will not return to this establishment. Food and service has gone very low.

I was passing through San Antonio with my grandma and was searching for carne guisada taco. We found it at Vallarta Grill and Bar. It was delicious. The way carne guisada is supposed to taste like and look. The carne pieces were huge, which I liked, but my grandma had a different preference. But we enjoyed ourselves very much. The red salsa was spicy and delicious. The Verde salsa was not so spicy but still tasty.

We took our grandsons to eat today January 15, 2024 it was so cold in the restaurant we had to keep our jackets on. The staff all had the coats on with gloves. When I asked why there was no heat he said they were having problems with it needless to say we all had a very uncomfortable dinner. Been here three times, probably won t come back. Beef enchiladas are too greasy and I have tried them twice. The tortilla is soaked with oil and you can see the oil dripping out of the meat. Employee at window wasn t rude but wasn t personable either.

I came here twice in 1 week, the person at the drive through male, is very rude every time we pull up, just yells and tells us to wait. Then come to windows chargers but doesn t let me kno what he s charging me for. I come here to park my vehicle now and just chill, I think the problem is the person at the window, and not the cooks. BE AWARE

First time there, the food was very good along with the service. My wife and I had the enchilada plate. I would rate the dish as one of the best tasting I have had. Someone in our group ordered the asada menu item and I must say it looked very good. Next time we are in the area we will definitely need to drop in and order this menu item.
