It took several months to get what I wanted from the law firm. The lost my paperwork, and will not admitted until I took it again to them. I needed to make changes to the trust fund. Once they have it again, they fixed my trust fund in a better way. Mr Alex Vollman explained the full process on how the trust works he broke down on tabs. It was easier for me to understand it. The best thing he explained the process of founding the trust. The front personal was friendly, well dressed , women wear beautiful make up and their hair was well done. They were gracious when in the office they offered coffee or water. The only out place person was one of the witnesses. He doesn t dress up for his job. He looks like a laborer instead of a high white collar job. Too casual for the office job. But I am glad Mr Vollman was well dressed and soft manners while taking care of me. It ended as a good experience. Definitely will use the Marquardt law firm again

We went to Marquardt Law Firm to get our California family trust updated to reflect Texas laws now that we have settled here for the duration. We worked with Daniel Palmer, ably assisted by Marelyn Jurado, and they provided us a very professional and complete revised trust for our approval. It had every change we wanted and while the review was long, it was complete and Daniel answered all our questions. He even identified the holes in our existing trust that we never would have thought of so we now have a more secure trust. 2/2023- I loved working with this law firm. I received my consultation appointment fast and they completed my Estate paperwork in record time. The staff here are so nice and professional. Fast Forward: 2023/2024- My husband and I used this firm again to to handle a probate case because we had a great experience prior but this time was a different result. The experience was extremely frustrating. The communication was so bad that I contemplated filling a complaint. Our witnesses even complained to us that they weren t getting responses after calling and leaving messages. We would call and never get a call back even after waiting over a week. We were being charged for the paralegal updating his notes, like what!! Those charges were removed eventually. We finally got someone (Sheryl) in the end who communicated with us and helped more in 30 days than anyone had helped previously. If I call you on a Monday, I expect a phone call back by Friday. Not sure if it was turnover or what but definitely need improvement in this area. Communication is key in any relationship whether it s business or personal. I won t say don t use this firm because I did have a good experience the first time around.

We had them put our trust together. We had a very active toddler boy with us. The staff was so patient and our lawyer made a point to stop and wait for the baby to stop crying or fussing before moving on with the next sections every time. He was clearly making sure that we were well informed and didnt miss or miss-understand any important information. They also provided the extra set of hands to help turn the pages when we were holding the wiggly one.There were even some toys for tiny hands. Its been about 2 years since we first spoke with Mr. Marquardt, his exact words to us were, it normally takes about 3months to process an estate case, we are going on two years and weve yet to see Mr. Marquardt again. From the start until now, we are going on our 4th or 5th person that has talked to us about the case. They said the delays were due to Covid, then that it was court delays yet they keep sending bills. At one time, we had a meeting scheduled, we showed up (3 of us) on time and we were told that there was a delay because an unexpected client from out of state showed up. Since they had an unexpected client show up they moved us to a tiny room on the right side right before the main entrance. It was so small that only one person at time could enter and exit the room due to the table in the room limiting access. This is the first time that any of the 3 of us have dealt with an estate case, so we are a bit frustrated with the misinformation and what seem to be excuses. We have complied with every request they have requested. Hopefully the case with be done with sooner than later.
