Had a wonderful date with my bf here on a Friday night. I loved how fresh the burger patty and the green Chile was in the southwest burger. He complimented the bacon burger in how well cooked and quality the bacon was. Thank you for the wonderful customer service from our waitress and the delicious food!

One word only AMAZING! Saw a video on TikTok and decided to give it a try with my hubbiebie and kids .They did not disappoint. I got the chicken BLT with guacamole and Jesus lord one of the best chicken sandwich I had in my life! Don t know what it is but it was delicious! So fresh and jeeesssus it was delicious. We didn t try the shakes it was late at night and we don t do sugar late at night but saw most tables with shakes, bet they re good as well. My hubiebie got the house burger and yes it was also so good! of course I had to give it a bite. Anyway let s not make this a long review. Do recommend 100/100

So my husband and me tried this since we heard glowing reviews and it left a lot to be desired. I had the bean burger and it didn t have cheese on it and was loaded with sour tasting salsa. I couldn t even eat it I alerted the manager and she had nothing to say just ignored me and charged me for everything No I m sorry or would you like something else nothing our server was on a break most of the time we were there and only returned to our table to refill drinks once. Then I paid cash and the manager asked the server to get my change from her purse instead of the cash register. Very strange won t return.

After visiting the botanical gardens, we wanted a good dinner. We are from out of town and saw this place online. It was delicious! The burgers, tots, and milkshake were outstanding. Wanted some Cheesy Jane s because I ve been hearing good things about the food and the service but my experience on Sunday was not one of the best. My waitress was very sweet and attentive, the food was great, however I do not know if the older lady was a manager or not but I saw her yelling at the waitress and she looked very uncomfortable. It seemed that the manager in charge does not know how to talk to employees respectfully. The interaction was not something I was expecting to see for dinner. I don t know if I ll come back with this disrespectful environment.

Came in on a rainy day. Enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger with loaded fries. The fries were okay, but I would have rather had queso on my fries because the cheese got stiff, and they were harder to eat. My nephew had the bacon-wrapped chili dog with fries. We also enjoyed the fried pickles. I also had a strawberry and banana shake. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a good meal, and I would come back again if I am in the area.

This was my go to place for a great burger however the food and service this time was horrible. Atmosphere was ok. The older waitress needs to work on her people skills. The food came out cold. Don t recommend dining here. Had to wait close to 15 min to order drinks before someone came to our table. Once our food came our server never came back to check on us or bring any refills. Again at the end waited for our check and nobody came so had to go to the front to ask for what we needed. Food was good but based off service I wouldnt come back. Bubbly and playful, this is the perfect place to go for a high - spirited place with good food and uplifting energy! Theres a lot of retro style influence in the decor and colors which adds a really nice flare and nostalgia to it. I think its vibrant appeal is what also adds to its fun and laidback nature. Lots of comfortable seating, plenty of room and cute decor around the outside of the building as well as mainly inside that can be great conversation starters. If youre a lover of vintage, retro or other classic items then this is a place thats worth giving a try! The food here is great and lives up to its name of being cheesy (a lot of their food items coming covered in a satisfying layer of gooey deliciousness to really satisfy the craving). A lot of the items also come with cheese on them or it can be added but theres a vast array of options to choose from with or without cheese on them. Since we kept it pretty simple we ordered the baby jane samplers, the southwest burger and a deluxe bacon burger (we shared the fries and tater tots collectively). While the tots are alright I preferred the fries a bit more although they were both good. The portions are also very large and filling so everyone will definitely be satisfied or leave with takeout boxes. Although also a little on the salty side for the fries and tots, the food was great and Id highly recommend it for anyone who loves adventurous burgers. Very similar to the aesthetics of the place, the staff were friendly, outgoing and welcoming. They offered great service with checking in, offering recommendations of their most popular items (and personal favorites) and greeted us both coming in and going out of the restaurant. It felt very familiar despite it being our first time going and it gave us a positive impression with how uplifting and helpful they were. Definitely a wonderful experience! Id love a chance to go back and try the food again and get to further explore the options on their menu (especially the malt shakes which they recommend to try)! Looking forward to coming back very soon for great food and service wrapped in a cute and nostalgic package. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian friendly options on the menu although not necessarily labeled. Parking: Theres a small parking lot located around the building. Usually easy to find a spot on their slow days but when theyre busier its very limited space and may pose hard to find space. Kid-friendliness: Kids menus are offered as well as crayons for coloring. Very family - friendly space. Wheelchair accessibility: Inclined ramps and plenty of space; disability parking also provided at front of entrance.

The burgers were really good. The tator tots were our favorite! Our waiter was amazing and so friendly. The shakes were super thick and flavorful. Get a to go cup because you wont finish it. The bacon on our burger was cooked to a crispy perfection. Our only negative was that the onion rings on the burger were hard as a rock. You can tell they were precooked and reheated. Overall, I would totally go back again.

Amazing first experience. We went to Cheesy Janes looking for a place that had the best milkshakes in San Antonio, and after we saw online a review by another customer about Cheesy Janes having the be milkshakes we knew we had to try it for ourselves! Needless to say, we were not disappointed! Not only were the milkshakes delicious, but they also had a big variety of flavors (including malts). My youngest kid had a choco-banana milkshake and the oldest an Oreo milkshake. They absolutely loved it. We also had the opportunity to try their delicious food. Everything we ordered was very tasty and warm. I personally loved their breakfast tacos on their brunch menu. The staff were very friendly since the moment we walked in, they welcomed us with smiles. Our waitress was very attentive to care for us while we were there, and the owner (or manager) made sure to check on us twice; she also noticed me eating the tacos and offered me some Salsa to go with it! Outstanding to be so caring about your customers. I cant forget to compliment their gorgeous aesthetic. I am obsessed with Diners, and it was satisfying to be surrounded by that vintage looking theme. Well done! We will definitely be coming back. Parking: The parking lot it is a bit challenging. Though we got there pretty early, and personally, we did not have any issues. But there were about 6 spots? Could be more or less. Again, it is not such a big issue, but it is definitely worth keeping in mind. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly diner in general. Its a great spot to come with your kids. They have booster chairs and the staff are very friendly. They also have a kids menu, that comes with crayons for them to color.

Loved my 1/3 pound bacon cheeseburger and tater tots. So much good food I had to bring half of it home. My husband had the worst burger, and said he liked it, and plans to try a different specialty burger each visit. Our server was perfectly attentive and polite. I will say, as a critique on my burger, that because the lettuce and onions are diced, they tend to fall out the bottom of the burger. Personally, I would prefer a leaf of lettuce and slice of onion. If youve got a Daily-Drive Through st0mach, pr just dont limit your intake, then youll be upset because - like Modern Times : people want more because money grows on trees (so this equals more food). If you can discern an opportunity to enjoy a quiet meal - eat here. Its like a small diner & there are both a food / coffee truck on-site - in case the diner is too busy. I enjoyed the Tater tots - salted/seasoned to perfection. The grilled cheese was 7/10 : there should be an option to request a Toasted To (light, crisp, lightly burnt) & other cheese -- american cheese is okay...but was sliced....I enjoy blocked American & sliced provolone. The shake was fluffy, a little pricey, but it tasted well & no aftertaste and not too cold to give brain-freeze. Waitresses were helpful. Also brought a nacho plate home, offering to family, maybe theyll like it.Wait time w/empty store for 2 items was 7-8 minutes (wow) + shake 11 min total. Parking: Maybe 4 slots for parking, may need to park at abandoned diner/ next door (40ft away)

Extremely busy with a long wait for a table and even longer wait for food. We got there at 1:15 and left after rushing to eat, at 3:05 The burgers were good, an hour late, but good. Milkshake was completely melted by the time it got to my table. We had three different families for a total of nine people sitting separately and paying separately and we were charged an automatic tip for having over 6 people. We had no choice but to pay it even though it took them an hour to bring our food and our water and drinks never came until one of us went up and requested refills. Good burger(cold on arrival) but the auto tip, two burgers, one kids burger and an allergy modified salad (only lettuce and chopped tomatoes) cost us $73. We will not be returning. Dietary restrictions: Talked at length with server and asked for no dairy, no gluten, no eggs on the salad and balsamic dressing instead of Italian and grilled chicken in the side. Salad came one hour later with fried chicken, cheese, Italian dressing and croutons on it. Had to be sent back to then return with just lettuce and chopped tomatoes. They brought the chicken five minutes before we walked out the door. Parking: Very small lot. If it s full it s better to go somewhere else and eat if you don t have an hour and a half+ to get a melted shake and cold burger.

Man, this was one JUICY burger! 1st time here, and I was blown away with the simplicity and deliciousness of my burger. I ordered the Comal burger and my friend, the fried pickle burger. I was also very satisfied with the well seasoned fries! My friend opted for crispy tots. Burgers didnt come with any lettuce, tomatoes, etc , even though they asked with everything?, but we didnt mind. Probably wouldve just gotten in the way. Definitely coming back to try more items off a varied menu!

Consistently great old school burgers. The chili cheese dog is no slouch either. Amazing tots. For those so inclined, coworkers tell me the shakes are amazing as well. Always good service, even when full. Worth a stop if youre craving a good old fashioned burger!

Got the Cheesy Jane with fries and a chocolate peanut butter shake. The burger was so cheesy and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The burger practically melted in your mouth. It was a big burger, but not heavy. The fries were smoking hot and crispy. I was about to get my usual unsweet tea when I saw they had a chocolate peanut butter shake, and I cant pass up anything peanut butter. The shake was more peanut butter than chocolate, and thats fine by me. Its not just one stage, its closer to three shakes. The place has a cool, old-school diner vibe. Service was friendly and attentive.

Abel was amazing ! My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience. We wanted a good burger before going to see the Christmas lights and cheesy Jane s did not disappoint. We stopped for dinner here before heading to the Botanical Gardens to see the Christmas lights. The atmosphere is that of a diner with brightly painted walls and red vinyl chairs and booths. The service was great and we didnt have to wait long before getting our food. We both had the bacon cheeseburgers which were really good and juicy. They had thick slices of crisp bacon on the burgers. I ordered a large size of tots, which were way more than enough to share with my husband. The menu had a long list different flavored shakes, but Ill have to try one on another visit. The parking lot is pretty small, but when we were leaving we saw another large lot across the street.

Great food, no one else was there so everything was fast. Food and service were great, we shared a 1 lb burger and fries. I was very impressed with the food. Had we not been sharing, it would have been just too expensive which is why I only give it 4 stars. $12-$13 for a burger that does not come with a side is just a lot of money. Is it too much for the quality of food? That depends on you! For us, I can only justify the price if we shared a burger. If we each wanted a different burger and fries, I would go somewhere else with lower prices. But if you got the money, the food was top notch and we left very happy

Overall great experience. Food was delicious and our server was AMAZING! Abel was very attentive and helpful. My husband and I had a great experience. Love this restaurant! I used to come here almost everyday as a student at UIW across the street and it was always good food and delicious dessert shakes.
