Over the last year we had both of our daughters Quince s here and without a doubt it was the best choice we ve made. Could not have asked for a better team or venue. They made our whole experience a dream! Absolutely executed our Vegas themed formal!!! Went above and beyond our expectations and made the most of our budget. Would highly recommend for any event- especially proms, formals, and big parties. This venue was our second stop of the night, our first venue was absolutely horrible, no one was having fun and everyone was complaining. When we got to Moonlight Ballroom, Isaac and his team saved the day. Everyone was coming up to me telling me how great the party was and what fun they were having. If you were thinking about doing this venue, DO IT!! They won t disappoint. We will definitely be asking to use this venue next year.

We just celebrated my daughter s quince. Issac and Sofia along with their amazing staff did a great job. The hall was decorated beautifully. I was worry free the entire night my family and friends could not stop complimenting how beautiful the hall was decorated. The music was great the food was delicious and my guest were beyond happy. What an amazing time!!! Isaac and his team beyond exceeded our expectations. I came to Isaac in a bind and in need of a new venue due to weather and capacity. He made it work just as promised. He promised to handle our event beginning to end for us and he delivered. From the decor to the service by him and his team, everything was amazng. For the price of the events you would think it would be more appealing. Its basically a basement on a main level and looks the part. The nicest thing is the cute little waterfall at the door, but I wouldnt recommend it for anything elegant unless you want to put a LOT of effort into classing it up. Even then, good luck.

We just had our wedding at this venue and they made our wedding day so special and worry free. They took care of everything I could possibly need and made sure we stayed on top of everything I wanted to get done. Their in house decorations were phenomenal and their Photo Booth was a hit with my guests. If your in search of a great spot for your next event I highly recommend.

The ceremony was nice but all the extra stuff was poorly executed, felt like we were chasing people down to get things done that we had told Issac we wanted done at our last meeting. The bar staff was rude, I had purchased the $150 liquor license for the open bar .....and while there was product out that we didnt bring its understandable that guests were charged for that, BUT what we did bring some of our guests were charged for and someone tried to charge me as well (the groom) this is how I know it was being done. I was married on March 25, 2023 we are in May now and still havent received my reception pictures. And later we found out the photo booth who is a subcontractor for the venue printed the WRONG date on our photo booth pictures and also all the guest ones as well. Reached out to Issac so he could somehow make this right, like a refund for the photo booth but still havent gotten an answer or resolve. I mean I have just what pictures my guests had sent me from our reception. Next was the videographer, I reached out to Issac again requesting the raw footage shot for the day because the video that was made by the venues subcontractor was cheap and poor visual and audio quality, reminded me of a highschool multimedia project. Over all we got married and had a good time while doing it but wasnt close to what we were promised by the venue. Was gonna post what the venue looked like the night of....but still havent gotten those pictures yet

I just got married here at Moonlight and all I could say is that Isaac and his team were absolutely amazing. I couldn t have asked for a better than venue! He helped me make sure everything ran smoothly and he also takes in consideration any decorations, any questions, any concerns and overall he just wants to make sure that your day is perfect no matter what!! Also he has wonderful connections, from the food ,to the DJ to the photography ,all the way down to his cake lady. I wouldn t have wanted my wedding to be anywhere else but here I would 1000% recommend this place to anybody I know that is getting married because there was no hiccups throughout my whole night. If you want to go to a venue, where is the management feels like family. This is the place for you.!!! Awesome awesome awesome. Went in there not know what to expect. Would definitely consider then for future events. Got to really enjoy my daughter s quinceañera because the team took care of pretty much everything. After the initial meeting met with each of the individual departments for planning. All it took was basically an afternoon. Loved that all nonalcoholic drinks were included throughout the night. Food was really really good. Everything stayed on time. We just had our daughters sweet sixteen party 7/2/22 and had a blast. The set up was phenomenal, food was delicious, great music people dancing all night, staff very professional and Courteous. Came here for a wedding and its a cute little place but I felt like the man in charge was rushing everything, he wasnt too friendly either you would think he would be working with people but not this guy. I was helping the bride so I had to face this guy. When it came time to eat the staff kept coming to take the plates Im thinking like can I take a bite first my goodness. I personally wouldnt reserve this place and I think it was a last minute thing for the bride and groom because I dont think they would have chosen this place.

We looked up Ballrooms in SA and came across this one, booked an appointment and met with Issac.. We decided to do the Full package with DJ, food (and caterers), drinks (and bartender), cake , Marachi, chamoy and chocolate fountains.. Issac and his team did not disappoint. With our busy work schedules and limited time to do photo shoots, food tasting, decoration appointments and EASY options to make payments towards the wedding arraignments, Moonlight did it all. NOT TO MENTION.. the day of the wedding, he had photographers scheduled at the church, and our itinerary scheduled out with the DJ so that we didnt lose track of time and miss ot on Father daughter dance, mother son dance, cake cutting and even dollar dance. Our guest were in shock with love of the decorated ballroom and many mentioned this was the wedding of the year (and we are only in March). We couldnt of have asked for a more memorable night. Granddaughter s sweet 16 at the event center unbelievably awesome! Everything was perfect to include the owner. His guidance and direction and suggestions were priceless! I want to give a shout out to Isaac at Moonlight Ballroom for giving us an amazing birthday party for our daughter. We ordered chicken parmesan for dinner which was hands down, an amazing meal according to all my family and friends who attended! The venue was beautifully decorated, the staff was amazing, and Isaac was there to ensure everything ran smoothly. If we ever have another event well definitely go back! Edit: theres a range of packages you can purchase, or he can help make a customized package to work with your budget, and theres payment plans! The venue inside is just beautiful! The ballroom without a heart. My 80 year old mother booked an event with Isaac for a sweet 16 as a gift to her great granddaughter for March of 2022. I was not able to go to the meeting with her so my very young niece took her to the meeting. She ended up booking the event and was provided with a hand written estimate that does not outline all the charges in detail for what is all included and is very confusing to understand. I was even able to notice that she was charged sales tax on a $300 damage deposit which I thought was strange. She was billed a total of $14938.50 with a $2000 deposit that she paid at that time with her credit card. He also put my mother on a required $1617.32 monthly payment plan. Most venues dont require monthly payments and only require you to have the balance paid 30-90 days before your event. (I thought it was strange) Fast forward about a month later my 80 year old mother was hospitalized and due to her declining health and we were forced to cancel the event due to medical reasons. Now in the agreement it does state deposits are non refundable unless approved by Moonlight management. As my mothers representative I met with Isaac to let him know about the cancellation and since it had only been about a month and due to the circumstances at hand with my mothers health asked for a management exception to the cancellation deposit refund policy. I was even open to a partial refund for the troubles we might have caused. He did offer to move the event; however since my mother was paying for it and she was hospitalized this was not an option. I asked to move forward with a cancellation. I was told to wait about two weeks so he could see what he could do with his subcontracted vendors who he says he paid to hold the date for us with our deposit. I waited two weeks only to be told that the vendors that he subcontracts with for food, dj, etc. were unwilling to help us in this situation and that zero refund would be offered. While this is not what I wanted to hear I did not give any hassle as I know it was something in the agreement we signed. Where I have a problem is why on earth would you put unless approved by Moonlight management when clearly management has no ability to do anything. Needless to say I felt it was important to share with anyone looking to use this venue to be prepared to lose you money should something happen that would force you to cancel the event (even less than 30 days after you sign). In addition ask for detailed explanations of what your paying for and what your being billed for and understand that Moonlight subcontracts the services. The intent of our review is to share our experience with this business only. We wanted to keep it factual and relevant.

My fiancé & I went by to inquire about having our wedding (ceremony & reception) here. We were given a grand total quote but not given an itemized list of how we got to that grand total? I thought that was very strange & when asked for an itemized list was told that it would take days to calculate all the discounts we were given? I really was not buying that. Issac is very nice & helpful, however we felt as if the venue was overpriced. Especially for the appearance on the outside. Sure enough we were able to find a venue for $2,000 cheaper and it is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. If you are in a rush moonlight will do & I m sure Issac will take care of you. But if you have time to do your research DO IT. Save your money AND find a venue whose appearance matches the price & who will give you an itemized list so you can know where your money is going.

I love the Moonlight Ballroom! Issac was so helpful and made all my stress go away when planning my wedding. He went over everything I needed and no matter what he always answered my questions when I needed them the most. One thing I was super worried about in planning a wedding was getting caterers, dj, décor, just about everything but here at the Moonlight they have everything and not only that but Issac was able to set everything up for me and all I had to do was tell him when I was available. We had our all-inclusive wedding ceremony and reception at Moonlight on 6-6-20 and all went just as promised by Isaac, the manager! Given the Covid-19 restrictions, measures were taken to keep all our guests safe. Many of our guests complimented the decor, DJ, the serving staff, and the state of the art sound system and lighting that was able to accommodate the Live band. Isaac and his team were beyond successful in bringing our dream wedding to life, every detail from the cake, the music, the pictures, the food, the lights, decorations and not to mention the amazing service they gave everyone!! I would highly recommend the venue and the team to anyone! I know for sure where any of my husband and Is event will be taking place from here on out! We had our daughters weddig 5/11/2019 and it was a spectacular event! The staff is extremely friendly and on point! I truly appreciated wedding coordinators Isaac & Marisa, theyre AMAZING!!! Words cannot do justice for what this team of awesome people helped me pull off. It was a surprise birthday party for my wife. The entire staff and preferred vendors were awesome. Issac was the focal point to contact me about all the details of getting the party put together. Issac and his team put EVERYTHING together perfectly. All I did was tell him what the theme was and he ran with it. Thanks to everyone for pulling off the perfect party, I have a free pass of staying out of the doghouse for a year! Absolutely executed our 80s formal in January!!! Went above and beyond our expectations and made the most of our budget. Best customer service, an even better venue. Would highly recommend for any event- especially proms, formals, and big parties. Cannot get over how awesome our event was. Decorations were off the charts amazing!!! I had a dream for this formal and they definitely made it a reality. Wish I could relive that night! Isaac was a pleasure to work with, very professional and creative!

We had our wedding here three weeks ago, and it was wonderful! The place looked amazing! All the decorations and lights they had, made the place so beautiful. The food was delicious and the DJ had everyone dancing all night! Honestly we couldn t ask for a better night! The place is clean and the employees are helpful. Weve attended multiple event this year, and all went well. Having a covered outdoor area is great, so you can step outside without being in the rain. Plus, the outside area is closed in, so the kids cant escape while they play! Location is right off Bandera road, making it easy to find and easy to get back to the highway.

Amazing and outstanding service! Our wedding day went by smooth and wonderful. Issac and Marisa were the best at coordinating our special day and helping my pink vision come true. We got their package that included photo booth, DJ, catering (sit down dinner), invitations, and alcohol, cake, limo and even linens. Anthony our DJ was terrific. Our guests had so much fun, loved the food and whole experience. This is truly a one-stop shop! Although we got our other services elsewhere they do offer makeup and hair and photography and flowers as well. We are so grateful and were extremely impressed with the whole experience. Issac truly has an outstanding team. I was very disappointed in the wedding and groom cake. If I could go back in time I would order from someone else or made sure that the cake lady and I were on the same page instead of trusting her judgment. This is no way is a reflection on Issac and his team. He was outstanding and truly was there from the beginning until the end. Him and his team made sure we were on the same page with everything. He made us feel like family and I hope in the future we get to work with him, again! Thank you so much, Issac!!!

We just had our wedding at Moonlight this past weekend. Everything was AMAZING!! Isaac & Marisa were on top of everything and made sure we had nothing to worry about. The food was amazing, the cake was amazing, the service was incredible and the DJ was amazing. He even played the custom playlist I made and had everyone on their feet from beginning to end. Everyone had such a great time and I even had a few people grab one of Isaacs business cards because they were so impressed and wanted to have their events there. This place sucked royally. And ripped us off. First they experimented and did a corner two way entrance down the isle for my daughters wedding, which the two sides could not see the one coming from other side at all, their photographer sucked, he did not get any close up pictures at all, in fact all were far and lots of bs in back ground. The 4 hr photo booth we paid for and they didnt even give 4 hrs, was suppose to be open while bride taking photos so guest can take their own at cocktail hr while waiting. So from 6pm to 10pm and close, as when must people pack up. Wasnt open till 830 to 1030 for 2 hrs only. And wasnt even gonna be open, till I said open now and waited 30 mins for that. The margaritas were suppose to be 2 of the colors of her wedding coral and teal, so peach or orangesicle and blue hurricane or blue raspberry, but had blue and a white color pina colada. And was told up to 1 hr away will have it, than less than 30 mins to start, we were told only the white, and for an hr both the Shiner beer and frozen cocktail were not severed to dome, guest were told that Shiner was out, what a keg from 7 to 8 pm and frozen wasnt ready yet. When paid for 110 plates and 32 didnt show. We take home leftovers, well they only gave us 16 of those a week later. We are the ones that decorated the venue not them, also they did not announce all events happing, as I the mother missed the cake cutting and bouquet throw as they said in 10 mins will do, I go outside for less than five mins and next to the door, hear no announcement and I go back inside and guess what, already done, what? So not just 1 or 2 or even 3 things wrong, but several, as we complained and still to date no refunded amount given of any amount. Oh and they kept our hawian placemats and unauthorized used 8 of our pictures of faces in their web gallery and Facebook, which ironically were the best pics taken and they had to crop to put up. Kind of cool to be there, but come on. They pressured and talked us in to their ideas instead of letting the brides have their dream ideas happen. We paid for a runner on floor and never got. No photos of just parents and brides, none of grandparents at all in any pictures. Dont waste your time or money. They dont even get one star. We cleaned up too. This all was a nightmare. Isaac is a liar and con artist thief.

My husband and I booked Moonlight Ballroom over a year before our actual wedding date. While other couples were probably dealing with the stresses of finding that perfect ceremony site or contacting separate businesses for their catering or wedding needs, our engagement was a lot less stressful. Moonlight Ballroom took care of all of our needs and much more. Isaac and his crew definitely took the stress away from what I thought would be a stressful time. Many family members called Moonlight Ballroom a hidden gem, and loved how organized the entire evening was. Anthony had everyone dancing the entire night and Isaac really saw my vision of simple elegance. I really got to enjoy my wedding and everything was so much better than I could ever imagine. Thank you again Isaac, Anthony and everyone working to make my wedding a memorable day for me, my family and friends.

We could never have imagined our daughter Caileys Sweet 16 would be as magical as it was. Isaac, Anthony and the whole Moonlight Staff took care of us from the first day we met, to the moment we left the venue Saturday night. If we wanted something special, they went above and beyond and made everything happen. There were no requests too big or too small they couldnt take care of. Our guests were all impressed and made sure we knew it was the best party they had ever been to! There are no words to express how extremely pleased and thankful my family and I are to them. We loved having our wedding here at moonlight! This place is a one stop shop. You go in choose a package and tell them what you want and they do the rest! Issac and Anthony were very nice and accommodated us even when we pushed your wedding up 4 months. We told them what days we were available and they set up meetings on our schedule. On our wedding day the venue was beautiful! Friends and family couldnt get over how beautiful and elegant everything looked. On top of that the food and margaritas were delicious. The dj was better than anything we could have ever hoped for! The entire night everyone was dancing and having a great time to the point that nobody wanted to leave! If your getting married and are looking around take my advice a wedding is SUPER stressful! Take some of that stress and give it to these guys and enjoy the a night that everyone will be talking about for weeks after.

Awesome venue!! Moonlight Ballroom exceeded our expectations for our special night. Everything from the initial tour with Eugene to the flexible payment plans they offered to the cake tasting with Lauren (which by the way the wedding cake tasted alot better the night of the wedding!! Alot of compliments by friends and family. Awesome job Lauren) to the menu tasting with Sabor, to the planning of the actual day with Anthony, to the actual night that Isaac played a big part of and even the DJ was awesome. Carlos did a fantastic job being able to accommodate us with the song choices we chose. The whole team knocked it out the park. I can go on and on about how great they did, but words cant describe how awesone they did. Even my family(who are from the pacific island of Guam) complimented on how great the food was. Too bad Im only getting married once.. I highly reccomend this place!!!
