Jennifer Locke did the worst job representing me. There was very little communication with her during the process and when she did contact me she was yelling at me. She told me she couldn t request items like split costs for extracurricular, life insurance, college funds, etc. She told me I couldn t request to put in MSA yo have contact with grandparents after death. She pushed me to drop all 2 yrs of back pay and give in to extended visitation. And refused to fight for medical and psych custody, even though my ex hadn t been in my kids lives for 2 years. It has been 2 years and I have learned from other attorneys what she did was so wrong. She just wanted the money with no work to represent me. She once put me on hold and didn t realize I could hear her conversation with my ex s lawyer and she was acting as if they were friends. I was told I would receive an official copy of my decree and I never received it. Only an email copy. Please please stay away.

I wish I could say nice and positive things about Ms.Locke and her paralegal Alisha. My whole experience was waiting for answers, direction and disappointment. Always conflicting and misleading information. I never felt secure in the information I was given and when meditation came it was more of a reunion and when time came to talk about my needs it was standard for mom and dad to have this and that rather than looking at the best interest of the child as they kept stating and his special needs. In the end I was not fully happy with what I got and felt as if I was more of a payment check for them and went to the next. I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone to this law firm.

I cannot say enough about Mr. Locke and Mr. Garcia, I hired Mr. Locke as my defense attorney, and he went to bat for me with Mr. Garcia helping in the times he could not be present. This team worked hard for me and never let up on the state until we received an acceptable outcome, they saved my life and my livelihood and I am so grateful. Being detained and taken into custody is an extremely traumatic experience. Its during those times that you need an experienced legal team to be by your side in court. For myself it came in the form of a 3 AM stop where I was soon sitting in a patrol car waiting to be transported to the magistrates; by the time I was allowed access to a phone there were only 2 numbers to call: my family to tell them I wont be home for supper and The Locke Law Group. Being tightly shackled in county lock up, surrounded by 80 other detainees is trying and exhausting; but even after a full 24-hour-no-sleep-detention, I knew the long day wouldnt be over until I spoke with Shannon on the phone. After some time, Shannon, Javier, and the team at the Locke Law Group were able to represent my side of things fully and got the case closed and dismissed. I was completely traumatized with the criminal justice system. When facing a situation I was in and dealing with a system that does not see you as human and guilty till proven innocent, you can feel lost real quick . The 1st attorney I hired, took my money and did nothing and left me hanging. I then researched many Lawyers and I was ready to hire an attorney. But Shannon called me and I was very impressed with his calm demeanor and made me feel he believed in me . I hired Shannon and I have no regrets. Shannon and his team were always so responsive and gave me the facts without any bull. I have no clue why this lawyer has so many positive reviews but my personal experience with him as a criminal attorney was the worst use of $20,000 I have ever paid anybody. The way he spoke to me was arrogant and narcissistic. He gave up on the case the second we wired him the money and always had an excuse as to why he couldnt visit his client on a consistent basis. Jennifer Locke has a deep understanding for Veterans whove had multiple deployments and returned to a less than favorable situation including when the spouse uses combat disability against them ... You got to realize that solution are instance but just know Jennifer is working behind the scenes to address your concerns ... Fire and forget, because she gets the job done period. I contracted Mr. Locke to represent a family member who was dealing with a DUI probation violation from 5 or 6 years ago. The prosecutors were wanting to give him jail time. We met with Mr. Locke after I read very positive reviews of him and his office. No review that I came across was disappointed with the result that Mr. Locke s work secured for them, and I m very happy to say that we can include our case among that statistic as well. Mr. Locke proved to be a very skilled negotiator and well versed in playing the game of criminal defense. We always felt like he had our best interest in mind, and he laid out the goal in our first meeting with him to have the case completely dismissed without jail time. He followed through on that goal with flying colors. Based on our experience, we have two suggestions for anyone wanting to work with Mr. Locke: 1) allow him the time he needs to successfully strategize how to get you to your goal - in our case, this meant Mr. Locke resetting my family member s court appearance a couple of times to increase the chance of the case just being closed (this did NOT alter our flat contract cost). 2) Do anything and everything Mr. Locke suggests you do to help your case - he always presents his strategies to you as suggestions ( maybe you could do this or that and that might help things move along ), but we recommend taking those as actual directions, follow them to the letter! We are so happy with the result that Mr. Locke got for us and give anyone needing a criminal defense attorney our highest recommendation for him. I hope we will not need his services in the future, but he will be our first and only choice should the need ever arise!

Best possible outcome! My son was facing serious charges. One would have to understand our agony and pain. After, a long frustrating search of effective attorneys, I called the law of office of Shannon Locke. I remember, I felt a sense of relief as he listened attentively to our concerns, and told us to call him Shannon. However, it was when he asked to tell him about our son, thats when I knew wed found our attorney. We live in a different state, so of course we researched, Shannon extensively, along with all of his reviews. Then, we became concerned if we could afford his services. His fees were reasonably! And, Shannon went to visit our son immediately! Due to Shannons, persistence the charges were litigated to a condition that we were very pleased with. He is truly a very good Attorney! DONT DO IT!!!!!! She will take your CASH and never call u back !!!!!! And takes half a year to get back to you and is a disgrace to even be a family lawyer hello everyone I am Fernando tovar owner of a car dealership and a RV dealership here in San Antonio called southpoint auto look me up and you will see that cash was not the issue here cause I am well Financially stable but in this case it was this Locke law group who took my cash and never did nothing I pay here $2400 to take my x girlfriend back to court for child support cause she has not to pay and it took them half a year to call me back yes 6 Months and that was only cause I called them to tell them that I was Firing her as my lawyer then they finally decide to call me back O !!!!!! Now they call after I Decide to fire here not only did I asked for records and paperwork of what she has done to earn the $2400 I have not gotten one paper work from her indicating what she did for that amount of cash I warn you be careful with this attorney she can talk but she ll take your cash at the same time If any kind of degree she earn it was to rip off people I got to give it to her because she really ripped me off What a disgrace to the Other attorneys out there you have to be very careful because she s making other attorneys look real bad!!! now in days you have to watch out because of people like her This was a very bad experience and I do not recommend you hire her like I said cash wasn t the issue here just the service no services at all and really sucked had to hire another attorney which I had no problem because cash is not the issue here but I do not recommend nobody to hire this attorney AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shannon and Jennifer Locke, both are so awesome! First of all, I got myself into some trouble with a possible felony; not only did Shannon get my felony dismissed but I got a lesser charge in sentencing! That was worth his retainer (very reasonable compared to other attorneys that I had contacted) alone. However, in the midst of my legal quagmire my ex-wife tried to use my arrest report against me to try to restrict my access to my children. I was really caught off guard by her trying to back-door me but Shannon and Jennifer sat down with me while I discussed my relationship with my kids mom. Not only did her case fall flat in court. I was able to get my child support reduced, and my visitation extended even though I was facing a felony! I was amazed as I sat in court and watched Jennifer cross examine my ex, she got her to contradict most of her earlier statements! I am floored! I cant recommend these two attorneys enough. I wish that I had known about Jennifer when I first got divorced. She is my number one choice for all family court matters from this day forward! Thank you both so much!
