Shawn has been representing me since my arrest in September 2022. With that being said i have not been his easiest client by any means and I m sure of it. However through the problems that I created, Shawn stuck by me. I was looking at a maximum of 20 years for a second degree federal felony charge, and i got into Shawn s hands via familial recommendation. Ive gone with Shawn Brown Law for both my second dui and my third dui. They were very short in between and both times Bryan worked on my case and really helped me. The first time he brought down the severity of the misdemeanor and the second time he brought the felony down to a misdemeanor. Hes also so personable that despite having so many clients when I went to go meet him for my first meeting for my felony case he picked up right where we left out and remembered everything about my case. This whole firm is absolutely one of the most friendly, as well as highly professional places ive ever had the pleasure to work with. I got a DWI in 2019, it was my first time ever being in serious legal trouble and i thank god that Bryan was there with extensive knowledge and great communication skills to help me through that time. I am a clinical RN and a hospice nurse, and I guess sometimes a rather naïve senior citizen. It seems I had the simple misfortune of moving in next to some persons the likes of whom I had never encountered before, and was certainly not prepared for. The first thing I knew was that I was under multiple lawsuits, and that somehow even the District Attorneys office was involved, and that there were multiple allegations/charges against me, and active warrants out for my arrest. I was blessed to quickly find Shawn Browns law firm, and Daphne Previti spoke with me multiple times that same night. She listened, assured and calmed me. It was like she could see right into the circumstances, and into the persons that had caused my circumstances. She had a plan, and I could tell that she knew what she was doing, and all I had to do was follow. First, we went through steps to make sure that I would not be unexpectedly picked up and arrested, and then it was like she enlisted her entire team to work hard and help with my case. They cared, guided me, and worked hard for me, and especially attorney William Salazar... like Daphne.. courteous, professional and confident. In a manner of just a few months, and without me ever even having to go to court, they had somehow managed to get the DAs office to Drop All Charges Against Me. He was very easy to work with, spoke bluntly, and didnt sugar cost it. Did not mislead the outcome and said what he thought honestly. He kept it real with me and let me know what i was facing if convicted. He alway talked about my options and where it could possibly lead. I felt comfortable with this firm. My case was stuck in legal hell for a year and a half, which was devastating. I even did my best Jean Ralphio impression and had 2 ankle monitors assigned at once. Nevertheless, patience and the best representation I could ask for came from Mr. John Gomez. John advised me to sit tight, while I had a warrant out for my arrest. You see, my judge had a big hard-on for excessive punishment. Some shenanigans ensued, but the bottom line is John found the perfect opportunity to strike the DA and got my case dismissed. Anyone that has ever been in trouble with the Law. Has heard once you get in the system they keep you in the system. Which is very true .the council that you select can and will definitely determine the outcome! I was involved in a altercation in 2007 during a ugly divorce. I was involved in a fight with my soon to be ex wife s new boyfriend. At my house on on my property. I was attacked , however no witnesses only her and him. So I was taking it to trial . I was looking at 2-20years. So in 2012 I took a deal , and received 10 yrs deferred. No Felony I didn t want to take a chance on not getting to see my 8 yr old daughter grow up and miss really knowing her. Only because the attorney I did not select did NOT help me. So moving forward 3 months left on Probation I received a MTR (motion to revoke) probation. Due to not paying the full amount of the $38,000.00 restitution . More supervision etc. Case Closed ..The DA dropped the case due to my Council. I cant recommend Brian Orihel enough. Ten stars if I could. I got myself into a mess and decided to hire a lawyer. Consulted with Brian the next morning and just from the consultation knew he was the man for the job. Not on ANY fault of their but cases can take a long time to figure out with the judicial system catching up and covid not helping at all. Everytime I would call him in a 2 year span. He would answer the phone like he already had my case file in front of him, never missed a beat or shirked a task. ACQUITTED That was what the paper says! It meant that i was NOT GUILTY of what the state of TEXAS was charging me with . Adrian Flores and Alex(didnt catch his last name). Protected me and i MEAN PROTECTED my rights. It was an emotional roll coaster for me and im sure it was for Adrian as well. He really did make me feel like he was the one standing trial. Which in my opinion is how you want to feel. The trial went longer then it should of due to the states D.A. pushing an issue that wasnt or shouldnt have been. They throw EVERYTHING at Adrian and tried to hide curtain info so that the jury wouldnt know the truth. Adrian RESPONDED to every attempt they made at hiding the truth! It was a nightmare for me! So much so that i even made the MISTAKE OF DOUBTING Adrians efforts He wound up WINNING! Adrian is a GENIUS at what he does! He pulled out all the stops on the states GUARD DOG! I cant lie i cried when i heard NOT GUILTY I can say id never heard those words with ANY OTHER ATTORNEY. If you are being charged YOU MUST HIRE ADRIAN FLORES! I mean that. He is worth WAY MORE THEN HE CHARGES(for me and my situation he under charged in my opinion)! KNOWLEDGEABLE, AFFORDABLE. AND IN MY OPINION 1 OF THE BEST ATTORNEYS IN TEXAS! ADRIAN THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
