I ve been coming here for YEARS! I come twice a week and work. Sadly, over the last couple of months, I ve been disappointed. They don t honor their rewards. I ve earned two free drinks over three months (because I m always here) and they won t honor the free drinks. Last time I was here the barista told me you have a free drink- use it now or later? I asked to use it next time so I could get a different drink. She said yes! Here today, and they say the points are no longer in my account and tell me we must not be putting your points in correctly. So, they won t honor it, or do anything to make it right, sadly. May be silly, but when you re earning rewards, it s nice to get to use them instead of them disappearing.

This has become our go to place when we need a change of scenery since we work from home. The drip coffee and americanos are good. Pastries are made in-house, tasty, and are priced reasonably compared to most cafes. However tip options on their checkout screens are obnoxious and go all the way to 30%. I have never seen any other business with such expectation.

SUCH a nice little coffee shop! I had the morning breakfast muffin and it was so SO amazing. Their summer special coffee was super top notch. I recently visited Kindred Coffee Co. and had a great experience! The latte was great, huge cup but it was not that strong taste! The café offers plenty of space, making it an ideal spot for large groups to gather comfortably. Additionally, we tried some of their pastries, and they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for both coffee and a cozy gathering spot!

A Cozy Meeting Spot with Friendly Service Rating: Kindred Coffee has become my go-to neighborhood meeting place. The ambience is warm and inviting, with plenty of space to sit and relax. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. While I appreciate their efforts, I do wish they had more gluten-free options. Currently, they offer one gluten-free pastry, which is decent but could be improved. Despite this, I always enjoy their coffee, which is consistently good. Overall, Kindred Coffee is a great spot for a cozy hangout or a quick catch-up with friends.

This local coffee shop excels the national chains. A good indication of this is reflected by its popularity. Every time I have been there, I have seen more people than I typically see at Starbucks and other chain coffee shops. Also, I noticed that most patrons at Kindred are engaged in conversation with others at each table, whereas at the other coffee shops, it seems like there are more people by themselves. Its probably the atmosphere. Kindred has a great coffee selection and interesting pastry items to choose from. If you go, Kathleen does nice latte art. Parking: Its in shopping strip, so plenty of parking.

My First Visit - I chose the Misto, as a drink it was ok at best. My biggest issue was the way the cashier responded to my questions and confusion as she tried to explain without explaining. She came across as bothered I wasn t an expert in the Kindred products and process as this was my first time. They then announced my drink name upon completion as something other than what I ordered. As I stood there, the cashier told another staffer to refer to my beverage as a Misto. She could have simply just told me as she was looking directly at me, but then again they apparently she was already put out by my questions. The place was very busy so I guess if you are a regular then the experience gets better, but don t be a first timer.

I really loved this place and clearly so do the clientele (it was half full in the evening)! Did not feel crowded at all given the ample seating. I ordered my favorite drink, an almond semi sweet my matcha latte and it was delicious. The baristas were very fast and helpful, I was happy to tip them. Me and my family are regular customers and come here every week atleast once (or sometimes more than that). During the visit today, I mentioned to the staff member that the table we were sitting at was wobbling and asked if someone could help with fixing it. The staff member checked with another staff member who replied very rudely that ask them to put napkins below the table. I mentioned to them that the table seems to be wobbling from the top and not from the bottom to which the other staff member continued to reply rudely that go and sit on another table. Firstly, if you want to work in customer service, you need to learn to reply politely. Secondly, it is your problem that the tables you have put out there for customers to sit are wobbling, so it s you who needs to go out there and fix it. This is not the way I would expect you to treat your customers. A very disappointing and rude experience overall.

Kindred Coffee truly earns a 5 star review. They are on their way to being an NRH institution for the community to gather. Many groups of 6-10 people have regular get-togethers for catch-ups, networking, Bible study -- it is great to see the fellowship and there is always plenty of seating. Kindred roasts their own coffee on site and cook their own pastries from scratch -- you can tell that the owner(s) really care about creating a special, authentic experience. The prices have remained competitive with the national chain, but the quality and the ambience is far superior. The landlord would be wise to keeping Kindred happy -- it is one of the two tenants in that shopping center that continuously draws traffic. It would be a blow to the shopping center to lose Kindred. Kindreds success has little to do with the location -- they could move anywhere in the area and their fans will follow.

I met up with a friend at this place as I wanted to give this place another try after 7 years when I didn t feel like going to Starbucks. I ordered their Honey Bear Iced Coffee and it tasted alright. I asked for less ice and they still put a lot of ice in the drink when they are more expensive than Starbucks. It is in the middle of Texas heatwave, they should ve kept the indoor temperature cooler and not me feeling like I m going to sweat my back off, and this is coming from someone who doesn t keep his home temperature below 75F.

I have been frequently visiting kindred since 2018 when it was still occupying two buildings ! I love Kindred so so so much. They truly have the best lavender latte in DFW and I m not shy about it. The environment is always nice and the staff is quick to make your order! I also enjoy the rotating seasonal menu that always entices me when I come back from a college break! Though this place is a little pricey, I feel as if the experience in itself serves what your paying for! There is lots of natural light and lots of different types of seating to make yourself comfy! We stopped in for a couple of lattes around 4:30 on Saturday afternoon. The shop was pretty busy, but we were immediately greeted and asked for our order. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were pleased with the unique latte flavors available and the wide variety of snacks. We ordered a Fireside Latte, a Funnel Cake Latte, and a lemon bar. All three were nicely presented and delicious. Additionally, we loved the modern and cozy ambience and chill vibes. There is a wide variety of seating as well. I highly recommend Kindred to anyone looking for an excellent coffee! We will certainly be back.

Unfortunately, the drinks and food are not good at all. I have been here several times hoping that i will find something that I like but have left disappointed each time. The chai is the best thing I have tried, but was just mediocre. The smoothie was nearly tasteless and very icey, not creamy. The pastries and breakfast items have all been really dry, but they looked SO good... I think its a great place to study or hang with friends, but the drinks/food are a big part of the reason I would want to return to study at a place like this. I also think the cost is reasonable, I just dont like the food or drink enough for it to be worth it.

Cute coffee shop. Nice decor and a variety of seating options. Unusual take on the Cortado (pictured) I would have described it as a cappuccino based on volume (6-8OZ). One gluten free bakery option that pretty tasty. Parfaits and both savory and sweet options (not gluten free). Lots of options for indoor and outdoor seating. Coffees were great, but customer service was very poor. It wasnt busy at all when we came in and ordered. Stood at front and waited for our orders. After 5 mins of watching the kids behind the counter laughing and messing around, asked about my order. Person behind register went over to them and told them our order. After another 5 mins nothing. I asked again whats happening because another person came in (obviously a friend of people who worked there) and they already got their order. Then they started working on the coffees. I then asked if we could have the pastry we ordered and she was like oh yea I forgot and gave me 2. I appreciate that but wow thats terrible service. We finally got our cold brew coffees, which didnt even need to be prepped just poured into a cup. Im hesitant to return bc of this. I wanna support local but please talk to staff. I LOVE Kindred Coffee Co. The best coffee shop for getting some work done, hosting a bible study, catching up with friends, etc. The coffee & drinks are great & the people have always been very kind and helpful! I love the way the shop is set up with different corners for different occasions. Theres a cozy seating area with couches that is perfect for bible studies. Theres a community table that is great for big groups, or meetings, or making new friends! Theres the outdoor seating which, when the weather is nice, is my fav. Love this coffee shop! I may not be a coffee person, but I appreciate that there are teas and smoothies on the menu! I got the strawberry banana smoothie, and it was so good. People were coming up to me asking what I got (while still in the shop). I also love that it s a Christian-owned coffee shop - I love seeing the Bible scriptures on the wall, and how you can easily have a small group meet up there, or even a place to study the Bible. Highly recommend!

It is a quaint atmosphere for a meeting, a study session, or a date before the bigger one later. The coffee is supreme and varies in cold and hot beverages. The fresh baked goods with cookies the size of your face. Good Wi-Fi, solid water filling station for all the hip trendy cups, and if your keen you have options to buy a sweet shirt, mugs, or coffee beans roasted in house!

Im from California and everytime I visit, I come to this Christian based coffee shop, I feel so welcomed. The people are very friendly and kind. All of the pastries are great. The Brown Sugar latte and lavender vanilla latte are so yummy. My favorite place to get the best quality in coffee!!

One of our favorite coffee shops to go to! We love the atmosphere and their coffee never disappoints. I enjoy the far east latte or the brown bear latte. My husband prefers the French press. They also have a nice selection of baked goods - most of them made in store. Were vegan so we have special dietary needs but they have something for us and the gluten free people! highly recommend trying them!

We use this place a lot to gather...clean, unique, and LOTS of seating! Also the coffee is pretty great. I recommend the cocobana :) Recently re-visited. Unfortunately they are not accepting bills higher than $20, which is a huge bummer. Irritating especially if you only have $50 cash and dont use credit. So, be aware if you bring cash to break your bills first! Also the quality of service and the baristas manner towards customers seem to have taken a lil dip for the worse. I still love the drinks, but the environment just seems less cozy nowadays. Hoping it was just a bad day! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian quiche, standard cafe snacks. Vegan muffin option as well. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of alternate milks, vegan and vegetarian snacks.

My Wife and I stopped here on Saturday as we wanted to stop and use the facilities and get something warm to drink on the drive back home in the rain. The restrooms were very clean and had a nice waiting area. Seasonal lattes were great ! Service and atmosphere were exceptional. Definitely recommend if you need a nice place for a coffee or hot chocolate or somewhere to get a little work in as they had a very nice set up. They also had an order at the window/ car options that were interesting.

Gave this place a try since they said they serve specialty coffee but no. Cappuccino was bitter and poorly pulled, milk was not textured properly. Caffeine fix for Starbucks crowd only.
