I hired her for a case and she only took my money. She did nothing and when I went to explain my case to her, I explained it to her as it was and she told me that she could help me and she gave me the total cost and when I had already paid her everything, she later came out to tell me We couldnt do anything anymore, he just kept my money, I feel like he only stole from me.

If I could give negative stars I would. Lack of attention to records on the deed for my children s father, severely damaged them financially. Sending someone in for the case unprepared and last minute did not help either.

Heres some background- Im the father of 2 fantastic kids, who s mother is in law enforcement. I came to Sio desperate for help to modify my standard custody order in MoCo- seeking more time with my kids, more decision making authority, and the ability to hold my ex accountable to making choices that will benefit our kids and give them everything that they deserve. As a father, nobody believed this was possible. I had friends and family tell me I didn t stand a chance. I even consulted with a different attorney once who refused my case, claiming fathers only win if there s abuse or drugs involved. I dont recommend Kalish Law to represent you in your divorce hearing. My case was dismissed for numerous reasons. Paperwork not being filed on time, and a missed notary seal. I never once received in a yr and half an invoice. After requesting a refund, her team sent me a bill for almost 8k! DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM! My money was completely wasted. Oh let us not forget my child support was also dismissed as well. AGAIN DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!

Firm handled wills for my husband and me -they were knowledgable and answered all our questions very patiently. Bob Kalish and his team also advised us on need for durable power of attorney and guided us through the process of considering end of life issues such as DNR. I used Kalish Law Services I believe a year or two ago. Sio, represented me during my child support/visitation with the father of my children that was highly difficult. She discussed all the possibilities and was very explanatory on how the process would go. She was straight forward and to the point. No time wasted. I was very pleased in how my experience went with everything and the great communication sio and her staff had with me. I would use their services again if the opportunity did arise. My husband & I made the 1st time we made the appointment we arrived 15 mins early and Sio Ramirez Pitre was apparently stuck in traffic but on the way we waiting a hour and she never arrived but the receptionist asked why we were here etc to get info on our case. All though we are fully aware she was the receptionist not a legal advisor. It was like Sio Ramirez Pitre set this up just to see if we were serious in using her services. We paid for NOTHING. The second time we tried to give Sio Ramirez Pitre benefit of the doubt so we set up a second appointment in hope she wouldn t stand us up again. We meet her she was very straight forward but said our police reports weren t need bc it s too much time looking into it all bc she would have to work basically.. over all sad. Look for someone willingly to look at your case as if they were in your shoes. Not someone just wanting to get paid bc she s heard of this a million times . Find someone truly, who wants to help you but this firm ISNT it. Don t waste your time & money.

I would like to give an updated account on my experience with this law firm and my attorney Sio. My case is finally settled and Sio, Ann and Myrna worked so hard on my case. I am so grateful from the bottom of my heart for the results of my case and I know it couldn t have been done without Sio s fierceness and knowledge on the subject of divorce and custody cases. My case seemed hopeless (at least to me). But it was NOT! And Sio built my confidence in the matter at hand tenfold. The price I paid was very cost efficient.
