The bar was decent, had a couple drinks, but i recommend using cash only. 37 minutes after I left someone tried making a $150 purchase with my card. I guess they thought i was going to be too drunk to notice.

Now, if you re looking for a hole in the wall bar, this place is pretty cool. At night there is a more of a younger crowd that s rowdy, we re not really into that because we re older people however, the drinks are made well when they are given to you and the owner is the best person. He is so sweet and he offers you food. What a generous thought to do for your customers. I can t always say the same about the bartenders. Every time we go in there there is a bartender. Really nice and attentive and are meant to be bartenders others look like they hate being there and they barely give you any customer service until you ask. I need to start getting the bartenders names that way I can complement the ones that are actually doing their job.

This place is really chill. They have pool tables and music inside the bar. On occasion they have an outdoor band and it is really fun to relax outside with some drinks while listening to the bands. Parking: This place is could use some more parking considering how many people visit here but unfortunately there isn t space to make more on their property. We usually park across the street in someone else s business

Not sure why there s so many 5 stars. Makes you wonder who s writing the reviews. Serena s is a dive bar. It s dark and dirty. Pool Is free but they re missing pool balls. Also the staff is rude and incompetent. The owner Dan, what a joke. He s drunk and obnoxious. I used to go to Serena s a lot since it s so close to my house but it really went down hill. I also make sure to tell friends and family not to go there, it s not worth your time or money. Honestly if they got better staff and cleaned up the place it wouldn t be half bad.

Almost no parking so it s visit at your own risk when having to park across the street and crossing over a busy street to grab a beer. Super laid back vibe. Outdoor patio is cool when the Texas weather is cooperating but if it s not, there s some pool tables, dart boards, and some tables inside. Very neighborhood vibe. Everyone seems to know each other and if you re not a regular- they know it. Good to know this bar is in my backyard but it probably won t be my first stop.

Great place, great bartenders, great atmosphere and awesome locals. Love this place. They even have a great deck in the back of the bar. Only two things I have to say bad about the place. Is they dont have any speakers on the deck to hear the music from inside. And the parking needs to be worked on. Other than those two things. Its a great little dive bar to hang out at. I also think that the beer and drinks are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.

If I could give this bar no stars I would. The owner Dan likes to offer all the pretty ladies free drinks to get them on his drunken level. And when you refuse he becomes angry and loud and puts his hands in others personal space. The bartenders are no help since they keep serving him and think its a joke how he makes people feel uncomfortable. Worst bar experience in san antonio. Save yourself the trouble and discomfort. No free drink is worth it.

This is the only bar within miles of our house. Its your average dive bar. Sad the beer taps arent working. Prices were pretty average. We were there on karaoke night, which was fun. Parking is definitely an issue. We tried going again last night, but there was no where to park so we went somewhere else. They have a nice outdoor area with corn hole and a stage. Id like to go some night they have live music. Crossing fingers therell be somewhere to park.

I love this bar I come here with my boyfriend a few times a month because the service is great and the bartender/owner Roland is very friendly and sociable and provides great customer service and remembers you by name and makes the bar feel like family. Small place but also has a nice patio with a stage live music and Im talking good music, decent place to watch cowboy games though they dont use it for other teams.. overall its a place to hang out like if u were at a house party but without the drama. Free pool and u can meet new friends since the place is small everyone is approachable. Im going there for the next cowboy game. Everytime they score they charge a dollar less for ur beer
